Hey everyone I am back again with another look at what is going on inside the Village. So, this chapter is gonna only have 3 sections. It is gonna be shorter than my last chapter because I honestly did not have time this week but wanted to get this out. The next chapter will be longer. I plan to going up to the end of Wave. I hope everyone goes to my poll. I set one up to see if you want longer chapters. The section names are:
Section 1: Girls Night (cuz I didn't put it in the last chapter)
Section 2: Iruka's headache (Iruka, Konohamaru, Hanabi)
Section 3: Preparing for Exam season (Hizuren, Council meetings, Danzo)
I want to give a huge shout out to all of you guys. My story is currently at the time I am writing this at 447 Follows and 342 Favorites. I am glad you all are enjoy my story. I have contemplated setting up a that way allowing people to get the chapter early, but I don't feel like I should. Honestly I do this for fun and I want everyone to enjoy it. Xerzo: I honestly wish you hop onto my discord. I appreciate the review regardless. So, the seals themselves do not do anything other than absorb chakra and place a layer of obedience onto Naruto. The more seals that are on him, the stronger the overall effect is. The backlash was extreme because of the amount of chakra needed to overload the seals.
As for the evidence, well I have a rude awakening after this is over. The council is not going to be happy. As for down the road well, I can't tell you all but I might be doing somethings sooner or later that will help with why my decision went to where it did.
That is the reason he is going to get the reprimand. I can see Sasuke doing the same thing Naruto did and causing his death, which for all Kakashi's faults in the show/manga he stood by his core values of not wanting to allow allies die and to protect those important to you.
The interlude was meant to be light and fluffy. This next chapter will have more of that especially with the first 2.
Jhechavarria: I appreciate the feedback on the gamer fics. I have toned it down a lot especially in my later chapters. I took advice from others to do so. As for your first point I understand your reasoning that was how most other fics end up. I am tending to not have lemons in my chapters I might hint at it down the road but I will not actually go into details. If you are concerned about that well there is the door. I am not getting paid for this. I am writing because it is a stress relief. Please understand and have a good day/night.
Guest: I have put her in the group and in her love for Itachi was more of as admiration in my story. She is also younger only 2 years older than Naruto. As for deaths I have an idea who will be dying and who won't. I am super happy to be where I am going to be take it.
Reading-maddness: I do try to make them long enough. I can make them longer but then they wouldn't come out once a week. Let me know if you guys want to have it longer but take longer to make or my length now and weekly.
Section 1: Girls Night
It was finally Friday. The girl night officially started. While most would think that if all the girls were competing for the same guy's affection, they would be at each other's throats trying to get a leg up. Well, that might have been the case at some point, these girls know that the person they wanted would accept them all with open arms. That didn't mean there wasn't stress which is why girl nights happened. The first one was when Naruto officially removed Anko's seal. Anko had become so lovey dovey to Naruto that it made all the girls in his life jealous. It took the combined effort of Naruto, Yūgao and surprisingly Ayame to get all the others to calm down. The plan was that once a month the girls would get together and enjoy each other's company away from Naruto. This allowed them to unwind, get to know each, and overall discuss what they wanted. Tonight, was the first time though that Naruto was officially out of the Village and the girls wanted to do a night on the town.
First, was the movie theater. Most of the women wanted to see the new Princess Gale movie that had just came out.
Upon seeing the group of girls walking towards the theater, the staff freaked out. Last time they had all come to the movie, they had made a huge profit but the women worked the staff to the bone. "Hi, how can I help you ladies?" the man behind the ticket booth asked. He thanked god he was not behind the snack counter today.
"11 tickets to see the new Princess Gale movie please." Ayame said being the group's leader/mom of sorts.
While most would say Ayame was the weakest of group, not really knowing how to use chakra, they didn't know the full truth of it. Ayame was all intensive purposes the what people would call a "Con Mom" (Basically when I used to go to conventions such as Comic Con, we had de-facto leaders of our group. Con Mom and Con Dad. They were our friends who took charge making sure every met up to eat, had all the things they needed such as passes, and setup how we were gonna get to the center that the convention was at.). With that, the man in the ticket booth printed out the tickets. "Here you are. Your theater is number 3."
"Thank you. Now ladies let's head over to the snack bar and order our snacks." Ayame said with a glint in her eye.
The ticket person looked at the group head over the snack bar feeling sorry for the poor people at the bar.
After the movie
The women walked out afterwards. Ino, Izumi and Ayame were rubbing their eyes to remove the tears that were forming at the end of movie. Anko, Yūgao, Naori, and Tenten were happy for the action the amount that was portrayed in the movie especially the action scene where Gail's hero goes off to face the warlord that was going to destroy her country. As for Hinata, Karin, Hana, and Yakumo they were picturing themselves as Gail with Naruto coming to their rescue after they were walking to become married to the horrible warlord.
"Alright, girls we have a couple hours left before we have to head to bed. Where do we want to eat?" Anko said as she was craving dangos after sitting eating popcorn the entire movie.
"Hmm, why don't we order desserts from multiple places while Yūgao, Naori, and I go get dinner ready. That way once you are back dinner will be done and we can eat and relax the rest of the night." Ayame offered. "Whoever goes to the bakery, don't forget my strawberry cupcakes!"
"Don't worry we won't!" Ino yelled pulling Hinata and Yakumo with her. She already knew that the order she placed for tonight had all the bakery good. Cinnamon rolls for Hinata, strawberry cupcakes for Ayame, cannoli for herself, and chocolate frosted, chocolate cupcakes for Izumi, Yakumo, and Naori.
"We got the ice cream!" Tenten said walking away with Hana and Izumi.
"MAKE SURE YOU DON'T FORGET MY MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP!" Naori yelled. It was the groups only cheat day and she intended to use it.
"That leaves dangos and the tea leaves for us." Anko said dragging Karin along by her arm. As much as Karin would like to deny it, Anko had gotten her addicted to Dangos as much as she is.
Later at dinner/dessert
Each of the girls were sitting down chatting and enjoying the pizzas and drinks.(My story moment. I wanted to put in what I wanted to eat so sue me) The older ladies had gone and made multiple styles allowing to have a slightly healthy balance after all the snacks that were consumed and the dessert awaiting them.
As dinner died down and the girls picked their desserts for the night, discussion about Naruto soon picked up. "Yūgao, how is Naruto's team doing? It has been 6 days since they left any update?" Ino asked.
"Hmm, it is classified however, I have been given permission to give you information about what is happening because of Naruto." Yūgao said with a smile. "Apparently their first day they came across a group of missing nin that were working for another high class missing nin. According to the reports though the team had successfully repelled the group. Naruto even contacted the group leader in hopes to bargain a deal and stop people from dying. The rest however is classified." Yūgao said smiling at the facts that were known to her.
"Please don't tell me that Naruto is doing his saving thing again." Karin said knowing full well that he was.
"No promises." Yūgao replied.
All of them sighed. "He is so reckless sometimes. I wish he would take care of himself more." Yakumo said.
"Yeah, unfortunately that wouldn't make Naruto, Naruto. He will go risk his own life to protect someone he feels needs it." Hinata commented back with a soft smile on her face.
"Why does it feel like we are gonna be getting a new member to the Naruto Lovers Club?" Anko asked making the group turn to her.
"WHY!" All the other girls yelled.
Rubbing her bridge between her nose, Yūgao stated, "Anko you realized you jinxed it right?"
"How is it my fault? I just pointed out that when Naruto does his reckless hero mode, another one of us ends up here." Anko correctly pointed out as every girl realistically fell in love with him for his actions.
"So, what are we going to plan for our new member?" Hinata said shocking everyone.
"Hinata! I am surprised by you. I remember you nearly fought all of us to have Naruto yourself when you learned that we all wanted to be with him." Ino spoke to one of her best friends.
"Well, I am learning to be selfish but only when it makes sense." Hinata said showing everyone that she is expecting to have her own time alone with Naruto.
"By the way Ino. We didn't get to talk but what happened between you and Sakura before she left. I saw she looked miserable.
"Oh, she is learning how amazing Naruto is. I expect she will be joining us in the next 2 months." Ino smugly said.
"I am glad your first friend is coming around finally. I am just gonna be glad when the "Greatest thing for Konoha since the First" is taken down even more pegs." Ido said taking over Yakumo for a minute so she can eat some of her preferred dessert a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
"Agreed. Though the pervert is officially done." Naori said as she found out that day that Kegiki had argued with the Hokage that it should have every girls' dream to be with a Shinobi.
"He really had no idea what that the Hokage could kick him back to the academy with the restrictions." Yūgao said.
"Unfortunately, we are getting punished because of him." Karin stated. "It wasn't like we could have done anything to stop him."
"I know it is nothing we can do. The boy was supposed to be just suspended with us focusing training. Without a 3rd genin we are forced to be on the sidelines now." Naori said sighing in relief that they didn't need to deal with the boy anymore.
"Enough talking shop. We need to discuss the next course of actions. We all know we are gonna have a new person joining us. What is the plan to make them feel comfortable?" Ayame returned the conversation away from a sad part.
"Right. So, here is what I think we do…" Yūgao started as she pulled everyone into the plan.
So, as the reviews have said I clearly have not been giving the girls enough personality. I will have more later on about them once Haku joins in. I figured to try to give them more information about the girls like their favorite desserts and how they are .
Section 2: Iruka's headache
Iruka watched as his class went out for the day. Watching small groups head out to have fun for the day. It really made him remember Naruto and his group of friends. While they were chaotic with how they acted, it was nothing compared to Konohamaru and his group. Him and Hanabi seemed like they are true leaders of the group. Sighing, Iruka watched as the group went to start their rampage of tricks. It was gonna be a long night.
Konohamaru being the grandson of the Hokage had major perks. Everyone wanted to be friends with him and wanted to appease him. That all changed once he met Hanabi. The girl always seemed to disagree with him. The first time they met he tried to impress everyone by being able to doing a clone jutsu on the first day. It did its job by impressing everyone, well except for 2. Moegi and Hanabi. Those 2 girls completely ignored him. THEY were busy talking catching up. "HEY! What are you guys talking about?!" Konohamaru asked. Since that moment he found 2 of his closest friends.
Going out after class, the 3 walked through the village. "So, do you think we should paint the Hokage monument?" Konohamaru asked feeling bored.
"You know you will get in trouble for that right?" Moegi asked him.
"Yeah so what it will be fun. I will get my grandpa's, you get the first's and Hanabi can get the second." Konohamaru said pulling paint out of a scroll.
"What about the fourth's?" Hanabi asked wondering how she should paint the statue.
"Well, I rather big bro not kill us." Konohamaru said dreading what Naruto would do.
Hanabi chuckled to herself. "Yeah your right come on let's go!"
2 hours later
Iruka was pulling the 3 kids in front of the Hokage. "You 3! How dare you deface our Hokage monument! Just wait until the Hokage hears about this."
Pulling the 3 into the office, Iruka was looking completely angry. "Oh, Iruka what happened?" Hizuren asked.
"Your grandson and his friends defaced the Hokage. This is a blatant disrespect to our leaders." Iruka said pulling the 3 into the room.
"What's up gramps? Are you ready to give me the Hokage seat?" Konohamaru trying to avoid trouble.
"Oh, I didn't realize the Hokage would deface the history of our village?" Hizuren questioned with a smile.
"Right, sorry gramps…." Konohamaru apologized.
"Well, at least you are learning your lesson. Now punishment. Iruka I want you to have them clean their classroom after school tomorrow. You are gonna watch them to make sure that they do." Hizuren said.
"Hokage you can't expect them to be sorry." Iruka stated.
"Oh, you are not wrong. However, cleaning up after someone will give them a more in depth feeling of what our clean crew is gonna have to go through. Oh and no jutsu." Hizuren replied.
"Right, I will make sure it is done." Iruka said having a headache form from how much work he was actually going to do.
"Sorry, Hokage sir." Hanabi and Moegi said together.
Next day
Iruka set the 3 out to clean the class. He had purposely made it so that the chalk easers were not cleaned, the chairs were left around the room, and the board hasn't been cleaned off at all. He even purposely used the chalkboard more today than normally. He watched as the group laughed and made games out of the cleaning. Soon though he had erasers were flying as Konohamaru got embarrassed by Moegi picking on him.
"Alright settle down and finish up cleaning. We are almost done." Iruka said to the group as 2 more erasers went flying.
The 3 watched as the last eraser thrown got deflected and smacked Iruka in the forehead leaving a white mark of the chalk trapped on it. "Uh oh run!" Konohamaru yelled as he looked at the face of Iruka.
Watching the group of kids run from the classroom, Iruka just sighed pulling out his gift from Naruto that he got for being his teacher. Pulling the cork out of the bottle 100-year-old whiskey, pouring into the cup he had in his desk for such an occasion. Taking a sip, Iruka went to do his paperwork as he reminded himself to thank Naruto again.
Alright, I hope you all enjoyed a little bit of the Konohamaru squad. I wanted to get a glimpse of what is happening with them and to have Iruka being responsible but also laid back at times.
Section 3: Preparing for Exam season
Hizuren was in the council room waiting for the remaining people to join. This year they were hosting the Chūnin Exams. While normally an excellent time for the village during said exams, the preparation was hell on earth. As the remaining people joined the council room, Hizuren thought of all the information they had received the last week. 'Well, should probably get this started.' He thought as he watched Danzo and crew walk in.
"Alright, this meeting is for us to discuss the Chūnin exams. Right now, we have 2 options for the second trial area, area 44 or Akagahara. I recommend area 44 as it is more secure location and we can provide support to genin that are knocked out." Hizuren stated.
"Hizuren, we should test our Genin not coddle them. They are expected to be able to survive as Chūnin." Danzo stated looking for approval to use Akagahara.
"Danzo, we went over this. Akagahara is outside our normal area. If we use it as a testing area, the cost would rise 10% which would hamper our village in the long run." Shikaku stated the business aspect.
"It is in agreement then to have the 2nd exam in training area 44?" Hizuren asked the council members.
With a bunch of nods, Hizuren felt confident to not worry about outside interference. "Good, now then if there are anymore topics now is the time to address them."
"No, good meeting adjourned." Hizuren said as he got up to leave.
Later that evening
Danzo was sitting in his office. His plans to allow Orochimaru into the 2nd exam had all but blown up because of budget. He watched as a snake slithered into his office. "I am busy right now, Orochimaru. What is it that you need?"
"Now, now Danzo. Is that anyway to talk to your business partner?" Orochimaru asked as he pulled himself out of the snake's mouth. "Here I thought I would ask for an update on the mission."
"Well, the old fool put a wrench in our plans. He made it so Area 44 is going to be used." Danzo spoke with anger in his voice.
"Well, I did not want to show my entire hand so quickly however we will have to move forward. I guess it is time for the Sound village to join the Chūnin exams." Orochimaru said as if he didn't care either way.
"What of your other parts in the plan? Have you convinced the Sand to help? Have you collected the ice user bloodline?" Danzo asked. He had hoped to have the ice user under his control to use against the Mist.
"I have received word that a Konoha shinobi team interrupted our plans for the Wave. I am sending someone over to confront them." Orochimaru answered.
"Hmm, I would rather not lose shinobi, make it sure your man does not kill them." Danzo stated as he knew that the Kyuubi was there. Kyuubi was his weapon.
"Hmm, well you need to get me something in return. I want an Uchiha." Orochimaru started. "I know there are 3 still in the village. I request you give me the boy. As much as the girls seem to be stronger right now, Sasuke is from the direct line of the Uchiha clan."
"Hmm, I will see what can be done. You might have to deal with one of the girls." Danzo tried to bargain.
"See to it I have access to Sasuke or I will make sure the whole village knows of your betrayal." Orochimaru said as he disappeared thus ending the conversation.
Ok, that is a wrap. I didn't want to do a lot on this chapter. I am just glad everyone is enjoying the story. Next chapter is gonna be the end of Wave. I plan on making it as interesting as possible. So, we are gonna have some fun with it. I put up a poll on how long my chapters are gonna be. I want to know everyone's opinion.
