Just a few things before the chapter everybody! Bolanojhon28, I saw your review and I'll be sure to include your OC in the story! I thought your submission was great. The first thing Kai was able to register was people talking in the background. It sounded unclear and jumbled. It sounded similar to arguing but quite honestly, Kai didn't feel like he was in the right state of mind to be able to differentiate. Then, came the light. Even though his eyes were closed, the light felt extremely painful, irritating his eyes and causing his head to hurt. Kai began to stir, before slowly opening his eyes.

Once he was able to fully open his eyes, his vision was extremely blurry. It took a few seconds for his eyes to adjust but once they did, he saw May arguing with Lucario. May looked extremely upset, waving her hands up and down while Lucario seemed annoyed more than anything, looking at anything but May.

"Where the hell am I?" Kai was able to croak out with a broken voice. May and Lucario immediately looked at Kai and rushed towards his bed. May almost jumped onto Kai, hugging him tightly. Kai hugged her back with one arm and held her head with his other hand. After a moment, May got off the bed and smiled at Kai. Slowly, she stopped smiling and instead glared. Right when Kai was about to ask her what was wrong, he was slapped harshly by May.

"Excuse me but what the hell was that for?!" Kai asked loudly, confused and upset that he just got slapped for no reason. May crossed her arms, still glaring before she responded.

"That was for trapping me in an aura shield instead of letting me help you guys, Oh Chosen One." May said mockingly while smirking slightly. Kai face palmed, completely forgetting about that decision that he knew would bite him in the ass later.

"Ok, ok, that's reasonable. How long was I out Lucario? I feel like shit…" Kai complained, peering up at Lucario while rubbing his head.

"About forty eight hours Master" Lucario replied nonchalantly, as if it was completely normal to be asleep for two whole days

"Wait what, I was asleep for two days?! Why didn't you just say two days?" Kai said, mentally freaking out that he was out for such a long time.

"Well I thought you would freak out less if I told you forty eight hour rather than two days Master, but clearly it made no difference."

Kai sighed while clasping both of his hands on top of his head. May frowned, resting her hand on Kai's attempting to comfort him.

"Ok, can you guys answer my question now? Where the hell are we?"

It was May who responded this time. "We're in Celestica City. After the explosion, you guys were in pretty bad shape. You, especially Kai. The police force were informed of what happened in Oreburgh City. They got here about 10 minutes after the explosion. Since you guys were in such bad shape, they transported you to Celestica City since they have the best medical services to provide in Sinnoh. Also, Cynthia wanted to speak with you when you woke up." May explained to Kai, who sat up, trying to start moving around again.

"Cynthia who?" Kai asked confused.

Lucario laughed at his trainers obliviousness while May shook her head smiling.

"You know, the Cynthia of Sinnoh. Champion Cynthia." May stated

"Ohhhhh, that's pretty cool huh Lucario. She probably wants to appoint me as Champion of Sinnoh for saving Oreburgh City." Kai bragged while shrugging. In response, Lucario stared at him blankly, as if saying "Really?"

The doors burst open as Sarah ran into the room before jumping onto Kai while he was sitting up, basically straddling him in a semi inappropriate position.

"I can't believe your awake! I was so worried!" Sarah cried out as she hugged Kai like her life depended on it. Lucario sweat dropped at her antics before telepathically communicating with Kai.

"Ok just to make it clear. May probably has a crush on you but we can both agree Sarah DEFINITELY has a thing for you." Lucario stated to Kai, who responded with a "No kidding."

"Sarah, as much as I love this, I feel like your breaking the rest of my ribs." Kai gasped out as Sarah slowly released her grip before kissing Kai on the cheek. May glared at Sarah, before realizing what Kai had just called her.

"Wait, you're Sarah? The girl who texted Kai the day of the attack?" May asked disbelievingly. Sarah grinned in response, now hugging Kai's neck.

"Yep, that's me! We met on the cruise ship to Sinnoh and we've tried to keep in touch since! Who knew that we would meet up by chance!" Sarah said, finally getting off the bed and joining the circle around Kai. May continued to glare at Sarah while Sarah seemed oblivious to this. Lucario and Kai simply stared at both of them, dragging their eyes back and forth, fearing a fight that could possibly break out.

"Ok well now that that's all settled, we should call Cynthia to notify her Kai is awake. She refused to say what she wanted to talk about unless you were present Master." Lucario suggested while Sarah and May agreed.

About an hour later, Cynthia Shirona walked into the room, along with 3 men dressed in black suits and armed with their own weapons. Cynthia wore her usual black attire, with her black button up, black pants, and black coat. Her blonde hair was let down behind her but also curled over in front of her face partially, containing black hair clips. "The Sinnoh Champion looked good.." Kai thought to himself, seeing the Champion and her guards enter. Then again, everybody in the Sinnoh Region would agree that she always looked good.

"I don't suppose your making me Sinnoh Champion because I saved Oreburgh City." Kai joked, shaking Cynthia's hand

Cynthia smiled, shaking Kai's hand before having a seat. She then dismissed her three security guards, who left the room, most likely waiting outside. Kai lay in the hospital bed, while Cynthia sat down in a wooden chair directly facing the bed. May sat in a stool to the left of Kai's bed while Sarah sat to the right of his bed. Lucario, remained standing between Sarah and Kai.

"I'm afraid not Kai. It is nice to finally meet you. We have a lot to talk about. A lot." Cynthia, reiterated to the group and Kai, making herself comfortable in the chair and resting her belongings on the floor.

"I was made aware of the events that occurred in Oreburgh City before the news outlets and media got a hold of it. As Champion of Sinnoh, it's my duty to handle possible threats and events that will negatively affect my region. I have been monitoring Chaos for several months. My staff and I have created a program called Project Giratina. Project Giratina is a mission I created to take down Chaos's operations in Sinnoh permanently. It consists of myself and a few other champions on board, a handful of skilled trainers and soldiers, and a few other people I selected myself. Due to monitoring Chaos's plans and actions for these past few months, we have vast knowledge of their mission and their means to accomplish their goals. We also know how Giratina plays into all of this." Cynthia informed the group, with all of them listening intently.

"Ok, I have a few questions. You're saying that Lucario and I made it on the news?" Kai asked immaturely, fist bumping Lucario. May sighed at Kai's antics while Sarah laughed at the two's interaction.

"Yes Kai, you and Lucario are pretty popular right about now. The world knows that it was the two of you who stopped Chaos in Oreburgh City and prevented any civilian casualties. While you did manage to foil their plans, you both also caused millions of dollars in damages in Oreburgh City, thanks to that explosion that went off in the middle of the city. However, the good you both did far outweighs the bad so thank you on behalf of Sinnoh." Cynthia answered with a straight face, fighting the urge to smile. After Cynthia finished speaking, Lucario straightened up before asking a question of his own.

"Ms. Shirona, was Snorlax captured? He had escaped near the end of the altercation." Lucario asked Cynthia, who tilted her head in confusion.

"Snorlax? None of my agents or reports said anything about a Snorlax being present.." Cynthia muttered confused, thinking that she made an error.

"Buddy, she obviously doesn't know who Snorlax is." Kai stated, facepalming. "Lucario meant the jacked leader on steroids. The one who LOOKED like a Snorlax" Kai informed Cynthia, who giggled in response, which was rare for the Champion of Sinnoh.

"Unfortunately, no. My agents spotted him leaving the scene but were unable to keep up since he was then evacuated out of the city by one of Chaos's helicopters." Cynthia informed the group, with the group cursing at the news. It would have been extremely helpful if an important member of Chaos was captured. He could have provided valuable information. Snorlax would have also been much less of a threat behind bars than running around swinging a sword.

"Ok, here's my next question. Why are you telling us this? I know that we probably deserve to know this considered how we all got caught up in this drama. But I feel like your not telling us something." Kai stated while looking at Cynthia for answers. Lucario, Sarah, and May also stared at the Champion of Sinnoh, who simply smiled in response.

"Your absolutely right Kai. I wanted to ask for your help. I want you to join Project Giratina. The whole world and I witnessed what you and Lucario could do by yourselves against highly skilled soldiers. I know that you posses the ability to use aura, making you an extremely valuable asset to our mission. You're exactly what we need. Not only this, but you just won the Johto League Tournament. Your a very talented trainer with Pokemon at a high level. I don't think there is anyone else I rather have join Project Giratina than you Kai. No one possess such skills as both a trainer and the ability to use aura. That's why I need you Kai." Cynthia finished, pointing at Kai while saying her last words. The group seemed shocked for a moment, especially May and Sarah, before Kai spoke.

"Cynthia, I would be honored to but I also have goals of mine that I would like to do. I came to Sinnoh to compete in the League Tournament and travel the region. Not to play hero and take down an evil organization." Kai said, attempting to reason with Cynthia. Cynthia only leaned forward from her chair.

"There's no guarantee that we will be able to take down Chaos, Kai, especially without you. If we're not able to, then there most likely won't even be a Tournament or region for you to compete in." Cynthia stated darkly, with Kai looking down and replaying her words in his head.

"She's right Master. Sinnoh needs us at this time. We have to put our goals on hold and bring back the team." Lucario said, attempting to convince Kai. Kai nodded slowly before looking up at Cynthia.

"Alright, I'm in. When do we start?" Kai asked, smirking. Cynthia mentally celebrated but didn't let her face show it, before responding.

"It will take a few days for you to be able to leave that hospital bed and recover fully. When you do, call me and I'll set up a place and time." Cynthia told Kai, handing him a paper with her phone number on it.

"I'll be in touch Kai and Lucario. Get some rest." Cynthia stated smiling, before walking out of the room. Cynthia had made it to the downstairs lobby before she was stopped by a "Wait!"

Cynthia turned around and saw May jogging towards her, stopping a few feet away from her.

"Please let me help Cynthia. You know that I'm a capable Pokemon Trainer as well. I can help Cynthia. Please." May pleaded with Cynthia, with her hands held in front of her clasped together.

Cynthia thought for a few seconds, about to respond before she was interrupted once again.

"Me too Ms. Shirona. My names Sarah Brown and I also want to help you guys." Sarah stated determined, now standing beside May

"I'm also a very capable trainer, having been a trainer and competing in Regional Tournaments for several years. While I'm not as good as Kai, I know I can contribute and help you guys out. So please, give us the chance." Sarah finished, staring in anticipation as Cynthia sighed at the girls.

"Fine, but if I change my mind later, there will be no argument. Understood?" Cynthia questioned with a stern look on her face. May and Sarah celebrated, hugging each other and jumping up and down. This continued for a few seconds while Cynthia glared at the duo.

"Ahem." Cynthia cleared her throat loudly, making the girls stop hugging and blush embarrassed.

"Yes Ms. Shirona, we won't let you down!" Sarah answered before Cynthia nodded, leaving the building, leaving the Pokemon Coordinator and Trainer to celebrate once again

Meanwhile, Kai lay down on his bed, staring up at the white ceiling. Lucario sat cross legged on the chair, biting his right paw.

"You know Lucario, I have a feeling that we made a mistake picking Sinnoh." Kai said, still staring at the ceiling blankly

"No shit Master."

Chapter 7 everybody! There we go! A lot of the story will be revolving around the group dealing with Chaos and completing missions for Project Giratina, attempting to stop Chaos's mission. Another decent portion of the story will be separated by the group interacting with other important characters from the games and anime. If you guys have any comments or suggestions, REVIEW or PM me!
