Cynthia rubbed her eyes tiredly, exhausted at the work that sat in front of her desk. She was burned out. With her responsibilities as the Champion of Sinnoh, her personal life, along with being the head of Project Giratina, Cynthia was beginning to feel spread thin. Project Giratina required her to be working constantly. She didn't have time to rest. The fate of the region was placed on her shoulders, along with the members of the organization.

She shuffled the papers in front of her, organizing them once again. It had been a while since her suspicions arose about their being a mole in Project Giratina. While there were a few people she had been watching suspiciously, she was no closer to discovering the truth. Every lead she discovered turned out to be a dead end. At this point, she wasn't even sure if there was a mole. As unlikely as it is, Project Giratina could have simply received bad intel regarding Operation Snowpoint. Cynthia shook her head at this, not willing to cross out any possibilities. The blonde-haired woman rose from her seat, leaving her office.

In a few minutes, Kai and the group have yet another meeting. Cynthia organized the meeting yesterday, wanting to introduce three new members to work alongside them. Cynthia sighed at this, knowing the risk of including new members. However, she had reviewed their previous histories and was very confident that she would not regret her decision. These three individuals all checked out in terms of their qualifications and achievements.

Cynthia entered the large room, consisting of tens of tables. The group sat alongside each other as usual, with Harley at the end of the row. The Champion walked over to the front of the advanced holographic screen. She paused, looking at the time on her watch. The trio were late, but she assumed that one of her assistants was bringing them in now. As she was thinking this, her assistant opened the door, with three people behind her. The group entered the room, smiling and opening their mouths in astonishment at how modern the room was, especially the technology.

The trio consisted of two girls and one boy. The boy stood at about 6'0 feet, with black messy hair. His black hair was messy around the sides of his face, without covering his face. He had brown eyes with a pale skin color. The boy wore a blue jacket, with black pants and red running shoes. Finally, he wore a red hat over his head. He had both his hands together behind his head, smiling brightly. The boy would later be introduced to the group as Hilbert Touya, a strong trainer who placed well in last year's Unova League Tournament.

One of the girls stood next to Hilbert, smirking confidently. She had light brown hair that stood up behind her head slightly and went beneath her neck. Like Hilbert, she had a pale complexion but had stunning blue eyes. She wore a simple tank top, with a black vest covering the tank top slightly. She also wore cut off ripped jean shorts and pink running shoes. Finally, a white hat sat on top of her head. She was Hilda Touko, another trainer from the Unova Region.

The second girl stood behind Hilbert and Hilda; her hands tied together behind her back nervously. She smiled while entering the room, observing her surroundings. She had long brown hair and brown eyes. She wore a blue sleeveless shirt and a red mini skirt. Like Hilda, she wore a white cap and running shoes. She was Leaf Green, a formidable trainer from Kanto.

"I'd like you all to meet your newest partners. Everyone, this is Hilbert Touya, Hilda Touko, and Leaf Green. They are all strong trainers in their own rights. Please welcome and treat them with respect, since they are one of you now." Cynthia finished, allowing the two groups to meet each other. The two groups shook hands and introduced themselves, getting along well.

"Nice to meet you man. I've heard a lot about you. Just don't hurt me with that weird aura thing you got." Hilbert joked with Kai, shaking hands with the teenager. Kai laughed at this, noticing the boy's light and joking personality from the start.

"No promises, Hilbert. I've seen you on TV a bit. You had a really good run placing in the Top 4 in Unova. Congrats man." Kai complimented Hilbert, who waved his hand brushing it off before thanking him.

"Have you heard of me too?" Hilda walked to the two of them, with her hands at her hips. Kai smiled at this, knowing who she was too before Cynthia introduced them. She was a pretty girl, who was also extremely confident at her skills.

"How could I forget. Finalist last year. Defeated Hilbert in the semifinals before losing to a trainer named Bradley. You're pretty good too I guess." Kai said, offering his hand for a handshake. Not taking it, Hilda gave the taller trainer a friendly hug.

"I'm impressed. I'm a fan of you actually. You and your Pokemon are something else." Hilda said, her eyes moving up and down as she admired Kai's impressive physique. Kai raised an eyebrow at this, with Hilbert laughing at Hilda.

"Jesus, Hilda. His eyes are up there." Hilbert laughed, flicking Hilda in the forehead. Hilda growled at this, wanting to slap her friend due to his antics. Meanwhile, Silas, Seiya, and May conversed with Leaf.

"It's very nice to meet you all! I'm excited to work with you guys." Leaf said kindly, smiling brightly.

"Likewise, ma'am, I've heard how strong of a trainer you are!" Seiya stated, nervous while talking to the very attractive girl.

"Thank you, I appreciate it." Leaf said shyly, brushing a strand of hair away from her eye.

"Don't mind Seiya and Silas, they're a bit awkward." May joked, hugging Leaf in a friendly manner. Leaf laughed at this, reciprocating the hug.

"Hey!" Seiya told May, while Silas's expression did not change.

"She does have a point, Seiya. I am Silas, it is an honor to meet you, Mrs. Green." Silas remarked, bowing in the process. May sighed at Silas's formal introduction, while Leaf giggled.

"I'm going to introduce myself to your friend, but we'll talk soon!" Leaf said cheerfully, playfully winking at Silas and Seiya. Seiya blushed at this while Silas nodded his head, not embarrassed one bit. May teased Seiya's blush, the trio now conversing with each other.

Hilda, Kai, and Hilbert were joking with each other, getting along very well. While Kai had just met the two of them, they were acting like they had known each other for years. While their personalities blended well, it was also most likely due to Hilbert and Hilda being best friends already. The two of them explained to Kai that they have been best friends since childhood. They have traveled together for years, remaining friends.

"Wow, so you guys aren't dating?" Kai asked the duo, surprised at this. Hearing this, Hilda shook her head quickly.

"Please, I would never date Hilbert. I'd rather get burned by my Emboar." Hilda stated. Hearing this, Hilbert acted offended. They were interrupted by Leaf approaching them. Knowing that she most likely wanted to introduce herself to Kai, Hilbert and Hilda went to the other group to talk with them.

"Hi, I'm Leaf. It's nice to meet you. You're quite the hero around here. Everyone speaks so highly of you." Leaf beamed, shaking Kai's hand. Kai smiled while shaking his head.

"Don't listen to them. Honestly, the others are just as impressive. We would be screwed if it wasn't for Seiya's skill with tech and Silas's rational and impressive thinking. May and Sarah are just as impressive as well. I'm not too bad I guess." Kai stated, shrugging his shoulders.

"Humble too.."

"Nope, definitely not humble. Cynthia told me a bit about you yesterday. Is it true you helped weaken Team Rocket a couple years ago?" Kai asked the beautiful brunette. Leaf smiled shyly at this, not wanting to take credit for it.

"Yeah, but I didn't help too much. There were others that did a lot more than I did." Leaf remarked humbly.

"Yeah, somehow, I think you're the one who's humble" Kai stated, before he was interrupted by Cynthia.

"Unfortunately, we still have a meeting. I encourage you all to chat after. Please, take a seat everybody." Cynthia stated loudly, standing in front of the holographic scree. The group complied, sighing as they took their seats. Silas, however, was trained on Harley. This whole time, Harley remained sitting down, not introducing himself. The older man had no desire to meet the new trio. Realizing this, the blue-haired boy frowned. Silas would speak about it to him after the meeting.

"Everybody, I have an announcement to make. You are all a group of individuals that Project Giratina has gathered as a response team. We are trusting you all with being able to hijack the third piece of Death's Crown-" Cynthia said before being interrupted this time.

"Hold up, I thought you had already relocated it to a safe location. Considering that we know they are targeting it." Kai said out loud. The group also nodded, confused why they were intercepting a piece of the necklace that they already had.

"That was the case, Kai. Project Giratina did make an attempt to retrieve and relocate the necklace. However, once we arrived at the supposed destination, we discovered that the piece was no longer located in Sunyshore City. Chaos had gotten there before us. I have surveillance and several teams working on locating the necklace, since we know that they are transporting it as of now. Yet, they have not been able to locate it. We expect to have a sighting of the transport in the next few days. We do know that it is a vehicle on land transporting the piece. We suspect them to be driving it to a location where they can then move it airborne. However, tasks forces and our organization have hundreds of people aiding in finding the necklace. We suspect that Chaos isn't ignorant enough to try and transport it while the area is heavily populated with our members and the police force. Therefore, they are most likely laying low in a secure location before they will attempt to transport the necklace." Cynthia finished to the group.

"Well, that's fucking great." Kai muttered, thinking Cynthia wouldn't hear him.

"Language, Kai. Don't make me have you run miles as a punishment." Cynthia chastised the aura user. Kai opened his mouth to reply, but closed it quickly.

"Jesus, does she always have a stick up her ass." Hilbert whispered to the group, who unsuccessfully held in a laugh at his comment. Hilbert's face transformed into one portraying fear, when he saw Cynthia grit her teeth at him.

"Hilbert, I expect you to report to the training room when this meeting is over. I will have one of the instructors monitor you as you complete 200 push ups, 500 sit-ups, and 500 squats." Cynthia said, glaring at the younger boy. Hilbert apologized, dragging his hands over his head. Making sure that only Hilbert could hear him this time, Kai responded while grinning ear to ear.

"Yep. Welcome to the team buddy."
