Chapter 3: Tara's Terrible Confusion

Tara walks out and she steps out into the sunlight and as she walks, she thinks to herself as she pictures her and Ron as a possible Couple, 'Ever since that night that you saved us all, I always knew that there was more to you than anyone grave you credit for, so why doesn't anyone else see, what you can be?' She begins to think how Kim and Ron operate, 'Simply overshadowed, like an eclipse, everyone ignores this. Kim always says it's no big, yeah right, but did anyone ever bother to ask you? What could have been with you?'

She begins to walk beneath the sunlight, the sun shining down on her face that is hanging down, 'Although we didn't talk that often, I always considered Kim Possible to have at least been a friend, but maybe that was wrong.' She continues to walk and begins to think of Josh, 'And Josh is so sweet, so nice, and so kind, and let's face it, he's just like you, but others call him a hottie too?'

Bonnie walks up and she looks at Tara, "Hey T, I heard what happened and I just wanted to say or rather, ask, are you okay?" She smiles lightly, placing a hand on Tara's shoulder.

Tara shakes her head, "Yes…No. I don't know what to think, right now, just well anyhow, I don't understand what to do next?"

Bonnie looks at her, "I treated Ron badly, that can't be taken away, but he's been Kim's lapdog, a relationship between you and him would never have worked out, Kim would argue that it'd be because I didn't want it to work out, because I claim that Ron is a loser. Whenever I call him that, it isn't really a reflection how he dresses or how much money he has, or whatever. It is the fact that deep down, as he is, he is Kim's boy toy, someone to give her a boost when she is feeling down or low, but the fact is, he is a loser and an idiot, because he can't see how toxic his relationship is with Kim and how much she uses him."

Tara looks at Bonnie and she smiles sadly, "Why couldn't you just point out that his relationship with Kim is toxic, maybe you could help him, after all, you know all about toxic relationships." She suggests, knowing that her best friend doesn't have the best relationship with her sisters.

Bonnie shakes her head, "No one is going to help Ron, not as far as Kim is concern, because no one is ever going to believe anything but the best in Kim. They certainly wouldn't believe that Kim is a manipulator that uses people. Maybe it didn't start out that way, but in the end, that is what it became. What I hate the most about her, is that I put in twice the work, I put in twice the effort and she just gets it all, handed to her, why? I don't know, could be because she is just Kim Possible, and she has to have it all?"

Tara looks at her, "Is that why you hate her Bonnie? You are jealous?"

Bonnie sighs, "No T, not just for that, although it doesn't help, but I hate how toxic Kim can be and she hides her toxicness under the veil of perfection, so she is also has narcissism, but it is just more hidden. If Ron getting some sort of success or some sort of friends, doesn't suit her agenda, then she will interfere with that. Do you honestly think that absolutely everyone on the entire cheer squad would be completely indifferent to him, especially after the whole accident at Camp Wannaweep?" She asks, finding the innocent of her best friend to be amusing, "But maybe you can still help Ron, all without breaking up with Josh."

Tara looks at her, she is trying to think of what her best friend might be thinking, "Okay, but how can I do that Bonnie?"

Bonnie smiles and wraps an arm around her, "It is simple T, be Ron's friend, get him away from Kim and show him that there are others who do want to be his friend, try to find out why he doesn't hang around with Felix more or something. Maybe set him up with Monique, or Liz perhaps."

Tara giggles slightly, "Okay Bonnie, I understand about the Monique thing, but why Liz?" She asks, shaking her head slightly

Bonnie smiles, "Simple, what is Liz known for?" She asks, waiting for Tara to realize what she is referring to.

Tara looks at her, "Being the other red head in…" She begins to stop, "Are you serious? Is really the only thing that everyone knows about Liz, overshadowed by Kim, simply because Kim is also a red head? Liz is just the other red head in the squad, she should feel more in Kim's shadow than anyone then." She smiles, "Alright, I guess we will talk tomorrow and I will take action then.

Bonnie looks at her, "Actually T, can I sleep over? I feel like my sisters are going to be even worse than usual tonight and well, I just don't want to go home and deal with that now."

Tara hugs Bonnie and she whispers, "Sure B, if you want, you can stay over the entire weekend, I am sure Mom won't mind."

With that, the two unlikely best friend, the innocent, somewhat ditzy blonde sweetheart, and the mean sour looking brunette rich girl with problems that no one else knows about or cares to know about, walk on to Tara's house, to make plans for Tara to help Ron and possibly bring down Kim, not knowing what may come next, but knowing that whatever it is, they had better be ready for it.
