Chapter 25 everybody! REVIEW as it helps me out a lot. Hope you all enjoy!

The Champion of Sinnoh had been going over the details of Operation Enlightenment for about thirty minutes now. She had finished going over the plan in detail, but was now ready to do a quick and brief explanation of the whole plan.

"Ok, the helicopter which we will provide, obviously, will drop you off at Veilstone City, since our surveillance team suggests that the transport vehicles will pass by the city. Once you arrive there, you all will wait until the Chaos vehicles pass through the city. WITHOUT being detected, you will follow the transport with any flying-type Pokemon you all have. Our intel suggests that their hideout isn't far from Veilstone City, so you shouldn't have to wait long before you arrive. Once there, you will be split into three teams, all entering through different locations. Since we have no idea what their base looks like, we will have to wait until I assign entry points for you all. Seiya will use a drone, with its camera being connected to headquarters here, to show us the layout of the building. Kai and I will help guide you all from there. I expect all Chaos agents to be apprehended, along with their transports. We cannot afford to have any Chaos agents escape, especially with valuable intel or items such as weapons and Pokemon." Cynthia said, flicker some of her blonde hair behind her back. The group nodded to show they understood, still paying close attention to the Champion.

"Alright you all, get changed quickly and then take the elevator to ground level. There will be a helicopter waiting outside." Cynthia finished, watching as "The Ghosts" sat up from their seats and hurried to get dressed. Cynthia rubbed her eyes in exhaustion, worrying about the mission. Kai merely smiled at this, confident in the team's ability to get the job done.

"And you're not upset?" Lucario questioned his trainer, who shrugged in response.

"It's a valid reason, Lucario. Besides, it's one mission. All of them are capable trainers. They'll be alright." Kai stated, laying across two office chairs. Kai and Lucario were currently in one of the "Communications" rooms.

Inside of the room were over ten workers, typing on their computers and screens across the modern room. They would all be assisting the Ghosts in Operation Enlightenment. Cynthia would be arriving in the room soon. Kai had let out his starter Pokemon for company, since the room was filled with grown men and women who weren't the most talkative bunch.

"I agree Master, it will be good for the team to complete a mission without you playing hero all the time." Lucario commented, sitting straight across from Kai.

Kai lifted his head at this, still lying across the two chairs. Sure, him lying in the room lazily earned him a few strange looks from the workers there, but who could blame Kai?

"I don't play hero all the time! I just happen to save people and the mission sometimes because I'm a boss." Kai said cockily. Lucario shook his head at this.

"I think you just have a hero complex, Master. It's nothing to be ashamed of."

Kai laid his head back down on the office chair, looking up to the roof. It seemed like he ignored Lucario's statement, now closing his eyes. After a minute or two, Kai opened his eyes and muttered a simple statement.

"Fuck I think you're right."

The Ghosts sat inside the helicopter, waiting patiently for it to arrive in Veilstone City. They wore black jumpsuits, with armored vests and pads covering their knees, shoulders, chest, and back. They had been in the air for about forty minutes now, with a comfortable silence hanging in the air. While they had been talking for some of the ride, no one was feeling extremely talkative.

It made sense, because the majority of the group was nervous. The team was broken out of their thoughts when the pilot spoke through everyone's headset.

"ETA two minutes. Be prepared to exit quickly so as to not attract much attention." The pilot advised, with the group agreeing with his words.

After a few minutes, the Ghosts arrived in Veilstone City. The helicopter landed on one of the tallest cities in the city, due to its helipad and it's valuable view of the streets. After dropping off the Ghosts, the helicopter departed, with both pilots wishing the group good luck. Seiya, Harley, and Sarah stretched over the railing of the roof, hoping to see an indication of the transport being nearby.

"Don't bother. We probably won't see the transport pass by for another thirty minutes. There's no way our timing is that good." Leaf stated, making herself comfortable by sitting on the floor. Seiya sighed in annoyance, while Harley and Silas reluctantly sat down as well with serious expressions. After a few minutes, the group heard Cynthia speak through their earpieces.

"Ghosts, the transport vehicle should be arriving in less than twenty minutes. Be prepared to spot the vehicles and follow them back to their base." Cynthia stated simply, her voice being heard through everyone's earpiece.

"Perfect, thanks boss. Also, why is this mission called Operation Enlightenment? Just what exactly are we enlightened about?" Hilbert asked jokingly, with a tint of curiosity being carried in his voice.

"You'll see Hilbert, patience."

"I don't think that guy has a modicum of patience in his body." Kai said over the earpiece, with the group widening their eyes that he would also be helping the group through the Communications Department.

"Well, if it isn't the aura user himself." Hilda said aloud, smiling that he would at least be part of the mission.

"In the flesh baby" Kai responded.

"Actually, you're really not in the flesh, Kai." Sarah stated, holding back a giggle.

"I know what you mean though, Kai. God, I'd love to see your handsome face right now." Leaf flirted, having no shame in everyone hearing her. Sarah and May glared at her, while everyone else shook their heads at the girl's antics.

"Likewise, Leaf. I'm sure you look-" Kai was interrupted by Cynthia, who spoke sternly.

"Leaf, focus on the mission. That goes for everyone else as well. I'm cutting off communication. Seiya, reconnect the line once you spot the transport." Cynthia finished, immediately cutting off the line without waiting for a response. Harley was the one who ordered the first command to the group.

"We should assign everybody a different view and direction of the city to watch. I'll take the North side of the city." Harley recommended, before walking towards the top left corner of the roof. The Ghosts agreed, walking to their own side or part of the roof to keep an eye on the streets.

The group continued to watch the streets for a little over twenty minutes, before Harley spotted something. Harley spotted two armored vehicles, along with a large truck that most likely contained a shit ton of materials inside of it. "Has to be the transport." The young man thought to himself. The transport was moving to the south side of the city, most likely leaving the perimeters of the city in less than three minutes. Without showing a moment of hesitation, Harley began making orders.

"Seiya, establish the communications line to Cynthia. The transport is in the northeast side of the city, moving quickly." Harley stated calmly. The group straightened up, knowing that they would be acting soon.

"Got it, creating the line now!" Seiya replied, typing quickly on the small laptop in front of him. After a few seconds, the Ghosts heard their earpiece crackle, signaling that the line was back up.

"Cynthia, we've spotted the transport. It arrived in the city about a minute ago. It is moving south of Veilstone City, leaving the perimeters in a few minutes. Following it now. Copy?" Harley said over the earpiece, waiting for a response.

"Well done you all. Great job Harley. Follow the transport and keep me updated if things go south." Cynthia stated, keeping the line on but muting the Communication's Department's microphone, so the Ghosts couldn't hear Kai or Cynthia. It would just cause confusion, considering Kai had been talking with Lucario about his favorite comedy movies for twenty minutes straight. It was driving her insane…

The group rose from their spots on the roof, now standing up while watching the vehicles move. Each of the trainer's let out a flying type Pokemon that they had, getting ready to use them to follow Chaos.

Hilbert let out his Unfezant, petting its head as he got on top of the Unova bird. Leaf let out her Pidgeot, greeting it warmly before getting on top.

Hilda released her Archeops, which earned a few "impressed" looks at the sighting of a Fossil Pokemon. Harley sent out his Togekiss, which leaned into Harley as he petted it in a comforting manner. It was clear that the two had a unique and special bond with each other.

Seiya let out his Drakloak, which also earned some surprised gazes from the other trainers. THe Drakloak was just big enough to have another trainer ride him, even though Seiya stood at a taller than average height. Silas released his Staraptor, who chirped confidently as the smaller boy boarded him.

Finally, Sarah released her Talonflame, who was big enough to support both her and May. May was forced to ride with someone else, due to not having a flying type Pokemon. In the end, May decided to fly with Sarah since she was most comfortable with her and the two were good friends.

Once the group was ready, they took flight, reaching a high altitude away from the transport. Harley and Leaf led the group since they were at the front. It made sense, considering Harley was the oldest and had worked at Project Giratina for the longest, while Leaf was appointed leader due to being the strongest trainer out of the group. The Ghosts maintained a far enough distance from the transport to avoid being spotted, while also staying close enough to see where they were going.

After ten minutes, the transport pulled into an abandoned warehouse. The group stayed flying above the transport at a high altitude. Once the transport was parked in front of the warehouse, the Chaos soldiers inside the vehicles got out, before heading inside the warehouse. Fortunately for the group, all the soldiers went inside of the warehouse, leaving the outside of the warehouse completely unguarded with no one being outside.

Seeing this, the Pokemon and their trainers landed about half a mile away from the warehouse, crouching behind two large trees. It was time for them to contact HQ once again. Leaf pressed on her earpiece, activating her microphone.

"Cynthia, we've successfully reached their base without being spotted. It's an abandoned warehouse, ten minutes south of Veilstone City. We are half a mile from the warehouse, waiting for your orders." Leaf told Cynthia, staring at the warehouse in the distance. Seiya sat on the floor, assembling the small drone that he carried from his backpack. Harley helped his friend assemble the drone, handing Seiya small parts of the drone.

Silas was working on the small camera, getting ready to connect it to the drone so the HQ could see the warehouse.

Sarah and May talked quietly to each other. Hilbert was busy being punched on the shoulder by Hilda, who was arguing at him for being too loud.

"Perfect. I'm assuming Seiya is busy assembling the drone." Cynthia stated over their earpieces.

"I've finished assembling it ma'am. You should be able to see the warehouse in a few minutes, once the drone has reached the warehouse." Seiya replied, before grabbing the control panel and lifting the drone into the air. Once the drone rose over the surrounding trees, it began making its way to the warehouse.

As the drone was making its way to the warehouse, the workers inside the Communications Room were able to pull up large blueprints and a 3D layout of the warehouse. While Cyntha could just command the Ghosts using the layout they had in front of them, it was better to have the group see the layout themselves, just in case the data was outdated or inaccurate.

Soon, the drone made it in front of the building. Its camera was being displayed across the control panel in front of Seiya, as well as one of the large screens inside the Communications Room. The warehouse was a fairly large building, but not as large as the building in Operation Eterna. It was made out of cheap concrete, with its paint being worn down and scattered. It had no windows, but also no openings besides the doors.

The drone flew quietly around the building, looking for access points. So far, Seiya was able to spot three main entrances on the main floor. They could easily catch Chaos off guard and overwhelm them if all eight Ghosts entered through the three entrances alongside their Pokemon.

After scanning the base of Chaos for a few more minutes, Seiya brought the drone back to the group. Cynthia was about to start giving out orders for the best approach inside the building, before she stopped herself. The Champion looked to her left, seeing Kai and Lucario partaking in an arm wrestle against each other, with it being an even match.

Cynthia sighed at how immature the trainer was, before speaking. She knew that Kai had paid attention to the layout of the warehouse while the drone scanned the building. Well, at least the majority of it.

"Kai, what would you recommend their approach be?" Cynthia asked while smirking, wanting to involve Kai in the mission.

Kai looked at Cynthia in surprise, distracting him as Lucario slammed his trainer's arm down in the match, making the trainer grunt in pain before responding sheepishly.

"Of course Champ! I gotchu." Kai replied, turning his attention to the blueprint of the building. After analyzing it for a moment, Kai began speaking to the Ghosts.

"Alright guys, I hope you're listening. Seiya, May, and Harley, you guys need to sabotage their vehicles to prevent any chance of them escaping, at least make them escape on foot. You can do this by popping the tires, cutting off the wires on the dashboard, screwing with their engine, or draining their gas tank. After that, I suggest you both take the entrance on the right side of the building, AKA the west side. Leaf and Silas should go to the back of the building and enter through the back entrance, or the south entrance. Finally, Sarah, Hilda, and Hilbert should take the main entrance. There should be the most agents there since it's the main entrance. You three are probably the strongest group in terms of battling, due to having three members and being strong trainers already. I'd recommend taking down as any agents as you can without alerting them, since once they are alerted, they'll all send out their Pokemon." Kai finished proudly, with Cynthai nodding in appreciation.

Cynthia was impressed at Kai's strategy. While it was fairly simple, there were some good parts in it such as removing their vehicles from the equation. She smiled at the trainer, appreciating how he was helpful even if he wasn't on the field.

"Alright Ghosts, it's showtime." Cynthia said confidently.
