At the cocktail lounge, Corvus and Xiya were playing cards while conversing with one another. Xiya looked at her cards then said,"So, the Phantomrangers defeated that Specter of yours the other day."

"That they did. It was quite the spectacle if I must say so.",Corvus said, being unbothered by losing to the Phantomrangers.

Xiya raised an eyebrow,"You sound a bit too calm about losing. You realize our blue zealot of a comrade is probably not gonna like that."

"Eh, he tasked us with distracting the Phantomrangers so he shall more than likely not mind it. Besides, I also have enacted a little plan of my own regarding the red one."

Xiya looked Corvus up and down then she shrugged. She then put her cards down and smiled while saying,"Hand of twos, I win."

Corvus revealed his cards and said,"Full house."

Xiya gained an annoyed look then she groaned in frustration before standing up and leaving the lounge while grumbling,"Stupid Corvus, being better at me in cards."

At Casey's College, Casey was doing some studying in her and Paul's dorm while Paul B was just entering. He saw Casey and asked,"How long have you been studying for?"

"Two hours, ten minutes, and twenty four seconds.",Casey said with an exhausted tone.

"Wow, don't you think you should take a break? Your books will still be here ya know.",Paul B said while putting his tools away. He got no response and he looked at Casey with a raised eyebrow. Paul B walked over to Casey to see that she had fallen asleep in her chair, her head resting on her hand. Paul B sighed then he picked Casey up and placed her into her bed, putting her into her covers and sheets. Casey turned onto her side then murmured,"Paulie." in her sleep.

Paul B's eyes widened when he heard this but he simply went into the bathroom to take a shower. He stopped in the doorway though when he felt a sharp pain in his chest.

The next day, Paul B was working when he once again felt a sharp pain in his chest, causing him to briefly stop and clutch his chest. Casey was walking through her campus when she came across Paul B and asked him with concern,"Paul, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just got a pain in my chest. Probably just a bit sore from getting hit by Corvus or something.",Paul B said while standing up straight and rolling his shoulders.

"Are you sure, because that looked like more than a case of soreness.",Casey asked in a caring tone.

Paul B nodded with a smile then he went back to working. Casey sighed then she stayed beside Paul B as he finished up his work. The two eventually made their way to their dorm before they disappeared from where they stood.

Paul B and Casey appeared in the parking lot of a bar along with Kizu, Axis, Jason, Kou, and Daggon. Daggon shook his head then said,"Oi, where are we?"

Daggon then watched as Jason ran to a nearby trash can and vomited into it. Daggon and Kou stared Jason with Daggon saying,"What's wrong with Brave Sun?"

"Teleporting doesn't do good for his stomach.",Axis said while shaking his head.

Casey and Paul B looked at the bar then Casey asked,"Why are we outside a bar?"

"Because I sensed a Specter from ibside that bar, plus I frequent it for their food so make sure you don't destroy this place.",Ben said from Paul B's Spirit Changer.

Paul B and Casey gained unamused expressions before Casey said,"At times, it is hard to work with him."

"I can agree.",Paul B said. He then looked at Jason as he walked up to them, putting a stick of gum into his mouth and saying,"I hate teleporting."

"Is this because you keep throwing up whenever you do it?",Paul B asked.

"Yeah.",Jason said while looking at the bar. "Think this place'll give us some wings for helping out?"

"J, food later, Phantomranger now.",Casey said on an older sister like tone.

Paul B turned to Daggon,"Daggon, you and Kou stay out here and keep watch while the rest of us go inside."

Daggon gained a frustrated and questioning gaze but before he could speak, Kou covered his mouth and nodded while smiling.

Paul B nodded then he, Casey, Axis, Jason, and Kizu went into the bar.

Inside the bar, The Phantomrangers entered to see the bar was empty with many drinks still on the bar or at the tables. The Phantomrangers walked further into the bar with Jason saying,"Anyone else getting horror movie vibes from this place?"

"Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way.",Axis said, looking around. Kizu held onto Axis' arm while looking around fearfully then he saw a spider on the bar and yelped while hugging Axis close.

"What's wrong?!",Casey asked while turning to Kizu.

"Kumo ga kowai.",Kizu said, keeping his grip on Axis.

Casey raised an eyebrow.

"He's afraid of spiders.",Axis and Jason said in unison.

Casey rolled her eyes while turning around. She was surprised to see that Paul B was now not beside her, and she looked around for him. Casey raised an eyebrow while saying,"Paul? Where'd you go?"

Paul B popped his head out from a doorway and said,"I'm right here."

He walked out of the door while saying,"Looked in this closet for any clue but couldn't find anything."

Casey sighed then her eyes widened as did Jason, Axis and Kizu's. Paul B saw the expressions of his friends and asked,"Why are you guys looking like that?"

"There's something behind you.",Axis said while pointing. Paul B tilted his head to the side then he turned around and was startled to see a claw-like weapon floating behind him with violet and burgundy aura around it. This claw-like weapon was primarily black with violet edges on the claws, burgundy angular streaks on the top portion of the claw which went over four circular slots.

"ROGUE CLAW!"

The claw-like device floated in the air then it began emitting heavy metal music while saying in an eerily raspy voice,"DEMONIZE!"

A violet, burgundy and black aura erupted from the claw device then formed into a man that wore a suit like the Phantomrangers'. This man stood with a violet bodysuit that had two black angular streaks on each thigh. Along with the body suit was a pair of black boots that stopped just below his knees, black gloves which had a burgundy stripe on the wrists and stopped just above the elbow, a burgundy belt around the waist that had a black buckle, and on his torso over his bodysuit was a black tabard that had pointed shoulders that were pointed upwards. On the man's head was a black helmet that had a burgundy visor in the shape of dynamic angular sunglasses, and a black fin on top of his helmet which made the helmet look like a spectral shark.

"RUIN, RAGE, PURGE THEM IN FLAME! PHANTOMROGUE RAMPAGE!"

"PhantomRogue?",Kizu questioned.

PhantomRogue readied his Rogueclaw then he charged forward. The Phantomrangers transformed and summoned their weapons while beginning to fight PhantomRogue.

In the parking lot, Daggon sat on the hood of a car with an annoyed look on his face. Kou looked at him and said,"Daggon-san, calm down."

"No, I want to be in there fighting. Not out here sitting and doing nothing.",Daggon said rather childishly.

Kou sighed then she said,"There's nothing wrong with you staying out of one fight. Besides, Paul-san said that you're supposed to be making sure no other Specters show up and hurt them."

Daggon grumbled while crossing his arms. Kou sat next to Daggon and rested her head on his shoulder. Daggon gained a small grin from this, then he began sniffing the air before saying,"I smell a monster."

Kou lifted her head and looked around while saying,"I don't see anyone."

"I smell them. They smell powerful.",Daggon said, still sniffing the air. He and Kou then heard footsteps and looked to the sidewalk to see Xiya walking past, having an annoyed expression on her face. Kou gasped and said,"Xiya."

Xiya stopped walking and turned to Kou and Daggon, then said,"Oh look who it is; my disgraced former comrade Kou. And you're palling around with a Phantomranger. I knew you weren't truly meant to be a Daemon but I at least hoped you'd have enough brains to not go and work with the enemy."

Kou became saddened slightly when hearing this. Daggon noticed and he glared at Xiya, stepping off of the car's hood, and growling,"Oi, you the one who took Kou's powers?"

Xiya raised an eyebrow,"Huh, not necessarily but I did have part in it."

Daggon gritted his teeth while clenching his hands into fists and saying,"Then I will beat you and get you to tell me who has them."

Xiya gained an intrigued look,"Ooh, you're a feisty one. Not too surprised considering you're the beastly one of the group but it makes me wonder why you'd be this way for a useless tomboy like her."

Daggon then quickly punched Xiya across the face causing her to stumble into a lamppost. She wiped some blood from her lip then said,"Okay, wasn't expecting you to slug me like that or be that strong."

"Don't call Kou useless. She's great and better than you and the other monsters!",Daggon angrily said. Xiya smirked evilly then she was about to charge at Daggon until she, Daggon and Kou turned their heads to bar when they heard the door crash open.

YellowPhantom and GreenPhantom were thrown out of the door, tumbling backwards as they landed. PinkPhantom and BluePhantom were thrown out of the door next, YellowPhantom catching both.

Daggon and Kou ran to the other Phantomrangers while Xiya simply raised an eyebrow. Kou knelt next to YellowPhantom and PinkPhantom while Daggon knelt next to GreenPhantom and BluePhantom while saying,"Brave Sun, girl, are you okay?"

"Not really.",GreenPhantom said in a daze, falling onto his front.

"Pōru-san wa doko ni imasu ka?",Kou asked while she helped YellowPhantom and PinkPhantom sit up. (Translation: Where's Paul-san at?)

Suddenly, RedPhantom and PhantomRogue came crashing through the bar's front window, startling everyone. Xiya's eyes widened and she said,"There's another one?"

RedPhantom, wielding his AgniBowblade, and PhantomRogue quickly got to their feet and charged at each other. They slashed at one another, their blades meeting, then they both dodged a slash from the other. PhantomRogue slashed at RedPhantom three times but each were blocked then he was kicked in the gut. RedPhantom shot three energy arrows at PhantomRogue but they were all dodged.

RedPhantom and PhantomRogue slashed at one another five times, their blades clashing each time, before they managed to slash each other across the chest. RedPhantom stumbled back then he put his Spirit Changer to his bowblade, causing it to have surging red energy gather along the bladed edge of it. PhantomRogue pressed a button on the side of his Rogueclaw's handle, causing surging violet and burgundy energy on the blades of the claw.

"AGNI PURGE!"

"ROGUE REQUIEM!"

RedPhantom and PhantomRogue slashed waves of energy at each other, the waves colliding in mid air before exploding. RedPhantom was sent backwards while reverting into Paul B, coughing in pain while rolling onto his back. PhantomRogue stumbled back then fell to one knee. He looked at Paul B then was absorbed into the Rogueclaw before it flew off into the distance.

The Phantomrangers returned to their civilian forms and Casey immediately ran over to Paul B, her face showing great concern for him. Jason and Axis looked towards the direction that the Rogueclaw flew off while Daggon asked,"Oi, who was that sharkhead?"

"Don't know buddy.",Jason said, rolling his shoulders.

Kou helped Kizu to his feet while Kizu said,"We should tell Ben-san about this."

"Kizu's right. He'll probably be able to explain what the heck just happened.",Axis reasoned while walking over to Kizu.

Casey helped Paul B stand while saying,"Paulie, take it easy."

"I'll be fine Casey.",Paul B said before feeling pain in his chest. Casey kept Paul B standing then she helped him walk as all the Phantomrangers began making their way to Ben's home.

Xiya stayed on the sidewalk, having seen the entire fight, and was stunned. She shook her head then said,"I have to tell Corvus and Ginza." before disappearing.
