A/N: Today is Percy's birthday, and my present to anyone who cares (Probably you if you are reading this) is another chapter for all of my multi-chapters, and then if I get it finished in time two retellings of favorite Disney stories. I NEED to know something though: Should I audition with Strong (From the musical) or Devils Don't Fly (A Nico Tribute) I will be singing it, which is your favorite? I can't decide…ANYWAY, on with the story!
Annabeth
Annabeth knew something was up when she got a text from Piper. Normally, she just called her best friend, knowing that her kids kept her kind of busy. So when she received a collection of texts at 6:30 am on a Friday morning, she knew SOMETHING had to be up. And she was all too correct.
6:30 am- Annabeth, if you are getting these messages, it means only one thing: I have gone so long without him that my heart has grown so empty it isn't there.
6:30 am-It means I finally joined him
6:30 am- I have sent you the link to my updated version of "Without Your Light" please ensure it gets released to the world
Annabeth scrolled down and clicked on the link, having an idea of what Piper meant. She was right.
"Oh gods….Oh gods….PERCY!" Annabeth was shaking her husband awake faster than he cam to the table if you said "Blue Cookies"
"whatisitimmatrynasleeprnlastnightwasthedayjasondieshediedtwentyyearsagoyesterdayimfellingsadrnleavemealonwisegirl" he said in a sleepy voice
"Percy! This is important. I think, Piper committed Suicide last night. I thin-"
Percy cut her off "Wait WHAT?"
In truth, Annabeth blamed herself for not being able to see the signs sooner. Heck, Piper, Reyna, Thalia, Hazel, Calypso, Juniper, Rachel and herself went out to coffee once a week at "Gaea's Grounds" she should've seen it and stopped it. She shouldn't have allowed this to happen. She took a screen shot of all the texts and pasted both that and the recording into a group chat titled "HEROES OF OLYMPUS" That name came about as seven of them (Hazel, Frank, Percy, Herself, Leo, Jason, and Piper) became national champions in Mathletes, geography bee, science fair, spelling bee and a few other academic contests that Annabeth was too tired to remember. They went to Lupa's High and their other friends had all helped greatly. To the rest of the school, the were part of the team. But that was twenty years ago, and yet, the nickname stuck. Annabeth was always the strategist of the group, she could tell what made a person tick. So, yes she blamed herself for Piper's successful suicide. She only wondered what every one else was doing. And how life could get back to n ormal after something catastrophic like this
