Zane glanced around slightly and stood up, making his way toward the door. He's never seen this door before. As he walked through the door, he noticed several glass cases and a beautiful white stone throne. In addition, he notices labels on each of the silver and black weapons.
"The Bow of Wind, The Shield of Shadow, The Chakram of Sound, The Hammer of Metal, The Helmet of Mind?" He read them off one by one with a note of confusion in his voice.
He also vaguely noted the crown also in a glass case beside them. The Crown was designed beautifully, a gleaming silver metal exterior embezzled with tiny snowflake-shaped aquamarines.
He then walked up to the throne only to see something labeled The Staff of Ice which was lying on it.
Zane ran his hand on the staff, which seemed to call to him. The wood was bamboo painted with light blue paint that seemed to glitter. Upon closer inspection, Zane realized the paint was made of liquid sapphires. On the throne, in amethyst letters, were the words;
'He who commands the winter's snow shall rule the team of shadows'
Zane felt instantly compelled to sit on the throne.
As he placed the crown on his head and held the staff of ice, wind chimes rang out through the island. Zane had never felt so, …powerful.
He knew he would need to assemble his new team very soon, but he also knew he needed a plan first.
In all truth, he wasn't one for scheming, but he knew he had to do this quickly and quietly. He already knew those who would be on his team, those whose elements were presented before him.
Wind, shadow, sound, metal, and mind. He knew a few from their elements; Morro, Shade…or was it Shadow, something along those lines, and…Karlof.
That made this highly more complicated. He didn't know two, one was dead, and the other couldn't be swayed easily. In the grand scheme, he did not have ties…to any of them, especially not the dead one. To retrieve his Knights, he needed to go about this rationally.
Zane started to pace around, wondering how he could go about recruiting them.
Shade wouldn't be an easy elemental master to get on his side, a new weapon, and purpose or not.
Karlof was probably going to be easier as he was a worker and could probably work with him with the help of a contract. Mind, on the other hand, he knew little about. He remembered seeing the elemental master and how he acted, quite the distrustful sort not likely to join him out of the goodwill of his heart. On the other hand, he doesn't remember much of Sound and therefore did not know how to approach this.
So now he had to think of how the elemental pull came into play. He knew that that whole Unity, Duty, and Destiny stuff could change an elemental master's decision on things.
Zane then froze as the door slowly started to open, and there was a man he did not expect to see that day.
