Intro
There once was an angel who had no wings.
Flightless, she was stranded on an earthen isle and forced to live among the human beings.
There on that island in the ancient lands, she was discovered by a boy.
A boy who saw her for what she truly was.
And in that realm of mortals and men, they fell in love despite fate's end.
The angel was content, but the boy wanted more, so he struck a bargain with the devil in hell, who gave him wings to make her soar.
But when the angel spread her wings, she flew far away into the sky. And the boy was left alone with nothing but the bitter wind to remain at his side.
Abandoned and betrayed, the boy was dragged down to hell, where he paid his debt to the devil below.
There once was a demon who grew weary of hell.
Plagued with boredom, he climbed from the depths of the inferno to wander the surface realm.
In his roaming of the concrete lands, he crossed paths with a girl, who reminded him of a life undamned.
And in the city of empires and dreams, he sought out to reclaim his soul.
The demon was hopeful, but the girl was not, for it turned out things were not as he thought.
He found her on earth but she lived in the sky, among the clouds where his enemies lie.
Feeling cheated and tricked, the demon went back down to the shadows, where he made a deal with the devil king of hell.

Hey everyone. I already posted this on my tumblr (Sorry to those who already saw this and thought this was an actual chapter) but figured I would update for everyone. Sorry about taking so long life has been...well life...soooo yeah. I was hoping to get more done over the past couple months but that did not happen as I planned. I certainly got a lot of the planning and outlining of chapters done so that is good but not as much as the actual writing as I imagined. However, with that said I have decided to go ahead and start posting for this story again. Progress may be slow but I hope you bear with me. Thank you all to those who have been so supportive through Part I and I look forward to sharing Part II with you as well. The next chapter should be posted soon my goal is to have it up by the end of the month!
