Chapter 1: And Then There Were 10
[Outer space: Outside of Jupiter]
Two spaceships are locked in a shootout against each other; one is large, brown and dominating the fight, the other is small and teal. On the large ship, Vilgax, the captain of it, is sitting down watching the fight go down.
"Hull damage: 20 percent, weapons system's still operational." One of the drones, a lieutenant, manning the controls said to their squid-like captain.
"I have come too far to be denied. The Omnitrix shall be mine, and there is not a being in the galaxy that dares stand in my way!" Vilgax proclaimed.
[Earth: Bellwood]
School had just let out for summer and a bunch of kids were running out. In a rush to start their vacation and no longer have to deal with school and homework. Away from the masses by a tree stands three kids.
"Normally, we'd take your money and beat you up. But since it's the last day of school, we're going to give you a break. Now fork over the cash, so we can get out of here." One of the boys, Cash, threatened another, Jamie.
"Leave him alone!" Said a young girl with long blond hair up to her shoulders, black eyes, tan skin, and a lithe frame. She has on a blue sundress, blue sandals, pink hoop earrings, and white sunglasses on top of her head. This was Leni.
Behind the girl is a young boy with short-medium wavy black hair, green eyes, tan skin, and an athletic frame. He has on a green long sleeved sweater, beige pants, and pastel pink vans. This was Victor Briefs, Lenis' best friend.
"Get lost, shrimp." The boy next to Cash, J.T. said.
"Can't we all just get along?" Victor asked.
"Oh, looks like we got us a pair of heroes, Suppose we don't back off?" Cash asked, annoyed.
"What are ya gonna do about it?" J.T. continued.
Cash, J.T., and Leni get into an intense state off, Victor looks at the group nervously. The scene cuts away to Jamie, Leni, and Victor hung up in a tree by their underwear.
"Thanks a lot." Jamie said to the two sarcastically.
"I was just trying to help." Leni responded hurt.
"Next time you wanna play the hero, make sure you can back it up." Jamie continued. "Your friend there was even more useless but at least he didn't make the situation worse."
Soon the Rust Bucket came pulling up to the school and Grandpa Max stepped out to the sight.
"Come on, Leni, Victor, let's go! We're burning daylight. I wanna make it to the campsite by nightfall." Grandpa Max called out.
"Uh, Grandpa Max? A little help here?" Leni asked, gesturing to the fact they were stuck.
After Max helped get the kids down from the tree, the Rust Bucket arrives at a nice suburban house where standing out front were two boys with tons of baggage.
One boy has short dark brown hair in a fade, chocolate brown skin, dark brown eyes, and a slight athletic figure. He has on a short-sleeved white button-down shirt with a tie. a sweater vest, a pair of khaki shorts, a pair of black puma shoes, a black cap, and a laptop bag over his shoulder. This was Tyrone, Lenis' twin brother.
The other one wears a gray hoodie, some blue headphones around his neck. He has long purple hair, tan skin, green eyes, and some old tattered jeans. This was Achilles Law, best friend to Tyrone.
Max walked out of the RV and waved to the two. They both ran up to hug him.
"Hey Grandpa Max." Tyrone and Achilles said, squeezing Max tight.
"Woah, ease up there, I may have a few more years in me but that doesn't mean I haven't brittled a little." Max said with humor in his voice as the two boys let him go. "Now who's ready for a road trip?" Max asked, smiling at the two. They both raised their hands up high. "Alright then let's pack these bags into the Rust Bucket."
The two young boys nodded their heads and rushed back to grab their luggage and started to pack it into the side of the RV with Grandpa Max's help. As they were finishing up they heard a voice behind them.
"Hey don't forget about me." The voice of a young girl sounded, behind the three males stood a girl wearing a blue tank top with a pair of sweatpants and black sandals. She had fair skin with black hair, gray eyes, and a lithe frame. This was Fae, a local kid that they all knew and would sometimes follow Achilles around, with her was her own luggage, "You almost left me. It's a good thing I already had my bags packed, and saw the RV pull up."
"Oh…right. Hey Fae, let's get your stuff packed up." Tyrone said taking her bags and giving Achilles a look, He just shrugged and started to get onto the RV with Fae.
Tyrone, shaking his head, packed the bags and soon followed the two into the RV with Grandpa Max trailing behind.
While the outside of the Rust Bucket looked pretty run down the inside of it was much different; from back to front, were a pair of bunk beds built into the wall, a tri-fold sofa with a fold down bunk. A dresser was below the bunks, right after that is a small half bathroom with an entry way there. Then towards the middle was an island sink, with an entertainment center, that contained an LED TV, and a Fireplace.
Next to it was a countertop, then a microwave above a stove, an electric fridge with an overhead cabinet. Across from it is a super sofa with a trifold bed, a free standing dinette, and the main entryway. Next to all that is a set of stairs, a pantry, and a hutch. Up the stairs leads to another bathroom, this one being a full bath, with a shower and skylight.
Then comes a bedroom with a Queen bed, dresser with another LED TV, washer/dryer prep, and a hanging shelf storage. Finally at the front was the actual driver part of the RV with a passenger seat right beside it.
No matter how many times the kids see it they are always amazed by the change of the interior compared to the exterior. This continuously causes them to bombard Max with questions about it, only to get the response of "It was a retirement gift." from the older man.
Sitting on the sofa was Leni and Victor, both of whom were reading a magazine.
"Hey Dweeb, Vic." Tyrone called to the pair in greeting, causing them both to look up at the small group that had climbed aboard.
"Hey Leni, and Victor." Fae said as she came up to give the two a hug. "I'm so ready for this trip."
Leni let out a nervous chuckle. "Yeah us too." She shot a questioning look at Tyrone and Achilles, both of which shrugged and shook their heads. Fae let go of the two and took a seat at the dinette, the two boys joining her.
"Alright, are we all ready to go?" Max asked the five young kids.
"You bet we are Grandpa Max." Leni affirmed.
"Let's go go go." Tyrone followed up.
"Road trip! Road trip!" Achilles chanted.
"Yay." Victor let out quieter than the rest.
"I woke up ready." Fae bragged.
"Alright to the campsite we go." Grandpa Max then made his way to the front and climbed into the driver seat, pulling off.
[Outer space: Vilgaxs' Ship]
The fight continues on as Vilgax's ship blasts a laser into the hull of the smaller ship.
"Their Propulsion systems have been destroyed." The Drone Lieutenant informed their leader.
"Prepare to board! I want the Omnitrix, now!" Vilgax commanded his troops.
The smaller ship primes a laser blast and fires, the blast hitting Vilgaxs' control room, and blasting him across. Immediately in response the warship blasts the ship to pieces. Out of one of those pieces a small pod ejects and crashes into Earth's atmosphere.
[Earth: Yosemite Campsite]
The young group of ten year old kids sat in the forest around a table bench. They were each doing their own thing. Tyrone was typing on his laptop. Leni was on her phone reading fanfiction. Achilles and Fae were coming back from walking through the woods. Victor was climbing a tree. Grandpa Max soon came up to the group with a bowl of food.
"Chow time!" Max said as he plops down a bowl of still-wriggling worms, the kids looked at the bowl in disgust.
"Alright, I'll bite. What is this?" Tyrone asked Max.
"Marinated mealworms. Hard to find them fresh in the States." Max takes one and slurps it up. "They're considered a delicacy in some countries."
"...And totally gross in others?" Leni said.
One of the worms falls out the bowl and crawls on the table. Victor picks it up and puts it in his mouth trying it out.
"Not bad." Victor commented. The rest of the kids look at him a bit disgusted. Max pats Victor on the shoulder and looks to the rest.
"If these don't sound good, I've got some smoked sheep's tongue in the fridge?" Max points to the Rust Bucket.
"Urgh. Couldn't we just have a burger or something? There is literally a grill built into the outside of the Rust bucket." Achilles asked. The kids looked at Max with a smile and a pleading look in their eyes.
"Nonsense. This summer's gonna be an adventure for your taste buds." Max began to walk inside the RV. "I'll grab the tongue." Max walks up the steps and inside. The kids huddle up around the table. Victor is still eating the mealworms.
"Alright what do we got?" Tyrone asked as everyone started to take out stuff. "I've got two bags of corn chips, and some milk chocolate macadamia cookies."
"I have some chips and a bag of sour gummies." Achilles contributed.
"I have a ton of gum that Tyrone keeps forgetting he gives me to hold on to." Leni said. Tyrone does a double take.
"I have a box of ding dongs." Fae said, pulling out a box from her bag.
"I have some blue Takis." Victor said, as he slurped up another mealworm.
"Think we can make it last the whole summer?" Leni asked. They all shook their heads, and sat down sulking.
Later on in the day the kids are trying to distract themselves from the realization that they may be stuck eating grandpa Max's food all summer. Max comes out of the RV with a bag of Marshmallows.
"Who wants to roast marshmallows?" Max asked, waving the bag. Achilles perks up and looks to Grandpa Max with a smile. "Maybe some scary stories?"
"Scarier than mealworms and sheep's tongue?" Tyrone asked, his sarcastic tone slipping out a little.
"Watch your tone old sport or that's all you'll be eating." Grandpa Max said in a scolding tone. The rest of the group laughs at Tyrone for getting in trouble.
"You just got in trouble. You just got in trouble." Achilles sang under his breath.
"That goes for you too Achilles." Grandpa Max said, hearing the lad.
"Wha…but I didn't even say anything." Achilles folded his arms and sulks.
"You just got in trouble. You just got in trouble." Tyrone sang in return. Achilles shoots him a look. Grandpa Max gives Tyrone a stern look and shoots it to the rest. Everyone quiets down.
"Now come on, you can mope around all summer, or we can have some fun. Now whaddya say?" Max said, his tone growing more chipper.
"I vote for moping." Fae said, hand raised.
"I'm gonna take a walk. Smell ya around bro." Leni walked away holding her nose.
"I'm gonna go as well. Catch y'all later." Achilles walks in the other direction.
[Earth: Yosemite Forest]
Leni is walking through the forest just looking around. "Aw, man. This is gonna be the worst vacation ever. I might as well have stayed home and spent my days catching up on fanfiction." A meteor comes shooting across the sky. Leni notices it, eyes wide in wonder.
"Whoa! A shooting star! I wish for this summer to be cool and exciting." Leni wished, closing her eyes shut.
Opening them back up, Leni sees the "shooting star" instantly change course, aiming straight for her. She starts running away. The meteor crashes behind her, the shockwave launching Leni and sending smoke and debris in the air. As it clears, Leni looks at it, getting to her feet, she moves in for closer inspection.
"Looks like a satellite or something." The meteor's white hot light fades. Leni leans in at the edge of the crater, but the ground she's standing on crumbles beneath her, sending her sliding down. Leni gets up; she is now in full view of the pod. It opens up and a green light shines from it showing the Omnitrix.
"A watch?" Leni asked, confused by the object in front of her. "What's a watch doing in outer space?" Leni steps a little closer, her hand outstretched, the Omnitrix leaps from the pod and attaches itself to her wrist. "Ahh! Get it off! Get it off! Get it off!"
Leni runs around frantically trying to rip the Omnitrix from her wrist. This course of action led to her losing her balance and falling over. She quickly crawled out of the crater and started running. "Grandpa!"
[Earth: Yosemite Campsite]
"Huh, Leni and Achilles have been gone for a while. I suppose they can't get into too much trouble out here." Max said.
"Unless they ended up as bear food." Tyrone casually commented. Both Max and Victor gave Tyrone a look. "What?! All I'm saying is it's a possibility.
"I mean…he's not wrong." Fae said in agreement with Tyrone.
[Earth: Yosemite Forest]
Leni tries to pry the Omnitrix from her wrist with a stick, but the stick breaks, angering her. She falls to her knees in defeat, and starts fumbling with the device. She accidentally hits a button on it and its faceplate springs up. She glances around the woods, the faceplates hourglass morphs into a diamond encasing a black silhouette.
"Cool." Leni said, looking down at the faceplate, and pressed down on it. Suddenly she finds herself in a void, crimson rocks spreading across her skin, transforming her into something else. She emerges from the void as a Pyronite.
"Ahh! I'm on fire! I'm on fire!" She screamed before slowly calming down. "Hey... I'm on fire." She took stock of herself. "...and, I'm okay... Check it out. I'm totally hot." She joked.
Turning to a tree she decided to test out her new abilities. Slinging her wrist, Leni shoots a fireball out of her hand, blowing a branch off the tree entirely.
"Now that's what I'm talking about." She said proudly to herself. Clapping her hands together Leni pulls them apart generating a larger fireball.
Leni slings the fireball, unexpectedly through three trees instead of one, causing a fog of smoke around her. Leni's smile drops as she sees the fire she created spreading to other trees.
"Wait! No! Stop!" Leni called out. Running to the fire, she tries to stomp it out, only for it to erupt into a larger one with her fiery feet.
"Oh man, I can hear Tyrone and Achilles now. You got in trouble. You got in trouble." Leni said exasperated before singing.
[Earth: Yosemite Campsite]
Max sits by a campfire outside the Rust Bucket with Victor and Tyrone, as Fae walks out, seeing the smoke from Leni's escapades in the distance.
"What's that?" Fae asked.
"Looks like the start of a forest fire. We better let the Rangers' Station know. Probably some darn fool camper out there, messing around with something they shouldn't." Max said, getting up from the campfire. The group looked at each other, all coming to the same conclusion.
"She wouldn't. Would she?" Tyrone said in doubt, before Max quickly ran to the Rust Bucket and opened a camping kit and grabbed two fire-extinguishers, passing one to Tyrone. The group began to run into the forest.
[Earth: Yosemite Forest]
Leni is still trying and failing to put out the fires. "This would be so cool if it wasn't so uncool." Leni said, looking around her.
"Woah, dude what happened?" Achilles said, with black rings around his eyes, as he came upon Leni with a bunch of snacks in his arms. Leni turned around and looked at him worried and exasperated.
"I found a watch…and it attached itself…and I pressed down on it. Now I'm this!" She whined out, a bit frantic from the whole situation.
"Okay, dude, I need to calm down first." Achilles dropped the snacks and reached out to Leni. "I wonder if I can…"
Before Achilles could finish whatever he was going to do. Tyrone came burning through the trees putting out fires with his fire extinguisher. Seeing Achilles with his hand reaching out towards something that looks like fire, Tyrone smacked Achilles hand away.
"Dude! Did you not pay attention to what any adult has said? Fire bad!" Tyrone said as he began to spray the extinguisher at Leni. Noticing that it wasn't going out and looked weird. Looking up, Tyrone sees Leni's current form and screams and begins to hit Leni with his extinguisher.
"Ow! Ty! Ow! It's me, it's me, your sister! Ow!" Leni cried out between hits.
"Dude stop, it's Leni." Achilles grabbed hold of Tyrone and pulled him back.
"Leni?" Tyrone looked at her confused. "What happened?"
"Okay so when I was walking, this meteor fell from the sky and almost smudged me, except that wasn't a meteor or a satellite, but this cool watch thing that jumped up onto my wrist, and when I tried to get it off, I suddenly was on fire, only it didn't hurt when I was accidentally starting this mega forest fire." Leni explained in one quick breath.
"Tyrone, are you alright." Max, Fae, and Victor came running up to the three. Seeing Leni, Max looks surprised, Fae confused, Victor looks Leni over.
"That's pretty hot." He said jokingly.
"Hey Grandpa Max, looks like I found the source, we called it." Tyrone said.
"Leni, what happened to you?" Max asked.
"Well I was walking…" Leni started to explain again only to get interrupted by Achilles.
"So you guys do know the forest is still on fire right?" Achilles asked in a dull tone.
"Right, what should we do?" Leni asked Grandpa Max for answers.
"Let me touch her." Achilles offered.
"No!" They all yelled.
"Just start another fire." Fae offered up her own explanation.
"I'm sorry what?" Tyrone asked.
"You start another fire and have it collide with the old one, they'll cancel each other out. I do it all the time when I start fires." Fae explained.
"You start fires? Wait, not important, for now. Think you can do it sis?" Tyrone asked.
"Start a fire? Yeah, I think I can do that." Leni said as the group ran out. Leni finding some trees a distance away cracks her knuckles and lights them up with fire, generating a new blaze.
Later a park ranger comes by a burnt out forest and looks at it confused. "What the?"
[Outer space: Vilgaxs' Spaceship]
The Bridge of the ship is damaged, sitting in a stasis tank is the mutilated form of Vilgax. Vilgax looked to the Drone Lieutenant, "What do you mean it's not there? This battle nearly cost me my life! And you say the Omnitrix is no longer on board the transport?" Vilgax asked, clearly very angry.
"Sensors indicate a probe was jettisoned from the ship, just before boarding. It landed on the planet below." The Drone Lieutenant explained.
Vilgax looked to another nearby drone behind him, enshrouded in darkness. "Go. Bring it to me." Vilgax commanded, with its orders, the drone walked off.
[Earth: Yosemite Campsite]
The group was back at the campsite eating marshmallows. Leni had just explained what happened to the rest.
"And you say that this watch "just jumped up and clamped onto your wrist?"" Max asked.
Victor throws Leni a marshmallow, which she catches. "Hey, it wasn't my fault, I swear." She pops the marshmallow into her mouth and it gets stuck.
"I believe you sweetie." Max rubs the back of his head.
"Think she'll stay a monster forever?" Fae asked.
"She isn't a monster, she's an alien." Max corrected, getting strange looks from the group of children. "I-I mean just look at her, what else could she be?"
"I mean it's some type of tech right? What if… we waited for it to run out of battery…?" Achilles suggested to the group after putting his previously found snacks with the others.
The Omnitrix on Leni's chest beeps red five times, then lets out a blinding light forcing everyone to cover their eyes. When they look back, Leni is standing in front of them, human and all.
"Hah! I'm me again!" Leni looked over herself and patted down her body.
"Aww, I liked it when you were on fire, we could have burned things." Fae whined. Everyone looked at her weirdly, to which she shrugged.
"I still can't get this thing off." Leni had gone back to trying to rip the Omnitrix off.
"Better not fool with it anymore until we know exactly what we're dealing with. I'll go check out that crash site. You guys stay here until I get back." Max walked back to the crash site.
[Outer space: Earth]
A pod shoots from Vilgaxs' ship above orbit, landing deep in the woods, next to the Omnitrixs' pod. Revealing itself as a gigantic robotic drone, it scans and promptly disintegrates the pod in the crash site, and ejects smaller flying drones from its shoulders to go find the watch.
[Earth: Yosemite Campsite]
"I wonder what this does." Leni was fiddling with the Omnitrix behind the Rust Bucket.
"Look what we got here." Tyrone said, popping up from around the RV with Victor.
"Didn't Grandpa Max tell you to not mess with that?" Victor asked, innocently.
"Yeah but aren't you curious to see what it can do?" Achilles comes up to the three. Leni was now tapping the faceplate.
"No, not really." Victor softly let out.
[Earth: Crash Site]
"I don't like this one little bit." Max said, picking up a piece of metal debris.
[Earth: Yosemite Campsite]
"Look. If I'm able to figure this out, I might be able to help people out. And I mean like actually help, not just make everything worse." Leni said, a dejected look on her face.
"So what was it like being an alien?" Fae asked, curious.
"Well honestly, at first it freaked me out, it felt like me but not…me." As Leni said that the faceplate popped up. "Oh hey, I think I figured it out. Should I take it for another spin?"
"I wouldn't." Tyrone commented.
"Well no duh, Captain dull." Leni said, slamming down on the dial. This time she turned into an orange beast with claws and fur, a Vulpimancer, and let out a roar.
"Aww, no fire person?" Fae asked, a little disappointed.
Tyrone and Achilles waved their hands in front of Leni's face.
"Hmm, no eyes." Tyrone noted.
"That's even lamer!" Fae yelled out and crumpled to the ground exasperated.
Leni's head perks up as the gills on her neck open up. She begins to run away into the forest.
"Leni! Got dang it! You're not supposed to! Ugh!" Victor called, chasing after her. The rest of the group trails behind.
"Leni! If you don't come back now, I'll tell Grandpa Max that you turned into some freaky-animal-monster-thing and went swinging around the forest even though we weren't supposed to." Tyrone called.
"This has been a very interesting day, hasn't it?" Achilles posed not really expecting an answer.
"Yeah." Fae answered.
[Earth: Yosemite Forest]
Leni swung across tree to tree; stopping on one when she sensed one of Vilgax's drones targeting her, leaping away before it could shoot her. She leaps to another tree, evading the lasers of the drone in pursuit.
Successfully sneaking out of its sights, she leaped up behind it, and landed on top of it. She then ripped off the laser arms, and the head. The Omnitrix begins to time out as the drone's body heads into a cliffside. Leni leaps from it before it can crash, and transforms back.
"Haha! Whose bad? I'm bad!" Leni cheered, hyping herself up as she looked at the crash. Another drone shows up and looks at her. "This can't be good."
"Hey you bucket of bolts! Back off my sister." Tyrone yells as he hits the drone with a shovel wailing on it repeatedly. The merry band showed up shortly after.
"Thanks for the save bro." Leni thanked, as the drone began to spark. The group noticed it and ran away before it could explode.
[Earth: Yosemite Campsite]
The kids were sitting in the RV with Max scolding them. He had arrived earlier to them not being there. Then hearing the details of their little adventure.
"I was worried that you might get popular with that thing on your wrist. That is exactly why I asked you not to fool around with it until we knew what we were dealing with." Max continued his scolding.
"Sorry, But hey I figured out how it works. So what you do is press this button." Leni gestured to one of the buttons on the Omnitrix. "Then, when the faceplate pops up, you just gotta twist to select which alien you want and slam it down. Boom! You're one of the super-cool aliens."
"Cool, so can we get the fire person back. I like that one." Fae commented from her position.
"We seriously need to talk about your obsession with fire. I'm concerned." Tyrone said, looking towards her. Fae waved it off.
"A device that powerful clamped on you, means you're gonna have a lot of unwanted attention. My guess, we're gonna have to help you learn, fast." Max said.
"Mayday! Mayday! Somebody help us! We're under attack by some sort of…I know you're not gonna believe me, but…robot!" Came the voice of the ranger over the radio.
"Sounds just like those things from the forest. Must be looking for the watch. Those people are in trouble because of me. I think I can help." Leni said, feeling responsible for the situation.
[Earth: Drone attack]
The group arrived at the edge of the forest where the drone is attacking. The Omnitrix boots up into standby mode. Max looks down to Leni and gives her a nod of approval.
"Let's see, eenie, meenie, minie…you!" Leni primes the Omnitrix and scrolls through aliens until she lands on the one she wanted. She presses down and diamonds begin to cover her skin, transforming her into a Petrosapien.
"AGAIN WITH NO FIRE CHICK?!" Fae yelled this instance being the final straw for her as she marches off to help the people escape.
"Hey, be safe out there, I don't want to have to go home to our grandparents and tell them you died fighting an alien robot." Tyrone rests a hand on her arm before going off as well.
Achilles just gives her a nod, and Victor a thumbs up as they follow behind Tyrone. Leni gives a deep breath. As she runs out to the drone attacking and people running away screaming. The others try to help guide them away. Her eyes glow as she runs towards the giant robot that was currently picking up the Park Ranger as he was helping one of the campers left behind.
"Leave him alone! You want somebody to pick on? Try me!" Leni called out getting the drones' attention. It scanned her and spotted the Omnitrix.
The robot dropped the park ranger and blasts her away. She lands in an RV, which the robot also immediately blows up. Leni ends up underneath it, but manages to cut herself out with her arm now turned into a blade. She examined it and smiled looking back at the drone. It starts to walk towards her, as she decides to test out the new blade arm and attacks with it. The robot jumps in the air to dodge, spinning its three legs and falling down on to her.
"Oh no, I'm in trouble." Leni said trapped.
Achilles and Tyrone are helping the ranger, around them are screaming civilians and tons of fire.
"What is going on here?" The ranger asked.
"You probably wouldn't believe us if we told you." Tyrone said.
``Now, let's get a move on." Achilles said, hurrying them up.
The ranger hesitates for a second, before running off as the drone throws Leni into his truck. Leni gets up and starts dodging various laser blasts; a stray blast hits a tree, causing it to fall down exactly where Fae is standing. Fae stares wide eyed, as the tree before her is split perfectly in two and falls to her sides. Leni in front of her, has spikes growing out of her back that cut the tree.
"So, still lame?" Leni asked.
"Eh, I guess it's not bad, still not as cool as the fire one." Fae responds.
The robot grabs hold of Lenis' body with one hand; lifting her up the drone grabs her left arm, where the Omnitrix would have been, with its other hand. Leni struggles and destroys it's hand with spikes, the robot with a palm laser on its other hand blasts her away into a building.
"Leni!" Grandpa Max called out in worry.
Leni gets up and tries to use her arms to block the next blast. For a second she is able to block, the laser reflecting off her arms, causing it to split and be sent flying in all directions. However she is unable to hold it for long and gets pushed back.
"Hey! How about you blast me right here?" She points to her chest, goading the robot into reading another shot having gotten an idea.
"Get out there. Run." Max yelled out to her.
The drone shoots the next beam and Leni holds her palms up. She is still pushed back by it a little, but has now gotten the hang of reflecting the lasers.
"What comes around, goes around. Let's see how you like it, ya bucket of bolts!" Leni cuts the robot in half with the reflected blast, destroying it.
"Yes!" The rest of the group cheered.
"Way to go Le…" Max catches himself as the saved campers stare at them. "...Uh, Diamond person."
"Oh yeah, who's bad! I'm bad! Who's bad! I'm bad!" She began jumping up and down. "Whoop!"
Max and Victor tried to get her attention by silently waving, motioning to the people. She soon does and straightens up.
"Well, I believe my work here should be about done." Leni said dusting off her hands and began to walk away.
"Who was that guy?" One of the campers asked the rest. Max, Tyrone, Victor, Fae, and Achilles begin to tiptoe away, the campers unaware.
[Outer space: Vilgaxs' Spaceship]
The spaceship is in the middle of repairs by drones. Vilgax, still in his tank, has just been informed of what happened to the drone sent to Earth.
"Failure?! Unbelievable! The puny Earth being that is keeping the Omnitrix from me will soon hang on my trophy wall." Vilgax declared as the tank closed up on him.
[Earth: Yosemite Campsite]
Early the next morning found Achilles being awoken by Leni, with a mischievous grin on her face.
"What's up Leni?" Achilles asked tiredly.
"I want your help with something later." Leni said.
Later that day, everyone was up and in the middle of packing up the camp. Well everyone except for Leni and Achilles.
"Anyone seen my sister or Achilles?" Tyrone asked.
"I haven't seen them since breakfast." Victor Answered.
There is a distant sonic boom, before the source of it comes running up in the form of Leni as a Kineceleran, with Achilles on her back. He climbed down once they came to a halt.
"Leni?" Max asked.
"Yep." She affirmed. "Hey, want to see what this one can do?" She uses her super-speed to break camp and pack up the baggage in record time. "Pretty neat, huh?"
The Omnitrix chose that moment to time out, leaving Leni standing there in her base form.
"This is gonna be one long summer." Tyrone commented.
"Long but interesting." Achilles countered.
"Where'd you go anyways?" Victor asked.
"Oh, I just needed to take care of one more thing before the vacation really gets started."

Cash and J.T. were hung up in a tree by their underwear by the side of a road as cars passed by.
"Dude. How'd we get up here?" Cash asked.
"Uh, I'm not sure. It all happened so fast." J.T. answered.
"Hey, somebody? Anybody? Little help here, please!" Cash pleaded for help.
