Chapter 6
Calm before the Storm
"People of Eosita, I stand before you today to deliver the most horrible of news" Celestine said atop the balcony of her castle so that all can hear her voice.
You see after the reveal of Black Dogs intention and declaration of war, she thought it best to tell the people of the coming threat.
"Now it may be true that the war with Olga is over, it has come to our attention that the once great hero Vault as declared his own war against us all" Celestine said to everyone, causing multiply gasps of surprise from everyone
Soon almost all the citizens started to shout and yell words of worry and angry, but Celestine then raised her hand to silence them.
"But fear not my people for as your queen I promise we will win this war!" She announced which raised the peoples moral, "and not just me and my knights but now a new ally has come to help in our time of need" Celestine said
Everyone then started to whisper among themselves, trying to understand what the Goddess Reborn was talking about. Suddenly four white beams of light then came down from the sky and landed on the castle's wall, just right above Celestine that caused everyone to look in shock. Once the light was gone everyone saw the four Rangers in there bright glory and striking there signature poses.
"People of Eosita, with great pleasure I would like to introduce our new allies…The Power Rangers White Hope!" Celestine announced, spreading out her arms to emphasize her point.
Everyone looked in wonder and shock at the costumed warriors. The Rangers then jumped down and landed on the balcony beside Celestine.
"Allow me to introduce our new friends that have come to help us today" Celestine said
She gestured with her hand to the Rhino themed Rangers as he placed his hands on his helmet.
"With the strength of the mighty Rhino and the mastery of the martial arts, Kelvin the Rhino Ranger" she said as Kelvin lifted off his helmet and reveled his face.
Next the Ranger with the golden shield on his helmet then placed his hands on his helmet as Celestine procced to introduce him.
"Along with him is the warrior from a distant future, with a sense of justice that cannot be shaken, Alex the Omega Ranger" she said as he pulled his helmet off
Next was the reptile like ranger as he too placed his hands on his helmet.
"And with the power of ancient beasts from the past and flying with amazing grace, Michal the White Dino Thunder Ranger"
The final Ranger then unclipped to clips on the sides of his helmet as he slowly removed his helmet.
"And finally with the courage and heart of a Tiger and leader of these amazing people, Eric the Mighty Morhpin White Ranger!" Celestine said as Eric reveled himself
All the people looked in shock, not just by the arrival of these new people but also by the appearance of them, seeing as they looked quite young.
"These amazing people have taken upon themselves to help us in our time of need, so remember this day as not a day of gloom and horror but of light and of course…hope" Celestine ended with a flourish of her arms
Everyone then erupted into cheers and applauds as Celestine and the Rangers walked off the balcony and back into the castle. Once they were inside, the rangers then de-morphed as they let out a sigh of relief.
"Well, that went smoothly" Kelvin said with a smile
"Yes and thank you again for suggesting this" Celestine said
It was true; the Rangers suggested that they do this little display to help give the people some comfort before the war begun.
"Now that that's over, what's next?" Eric asked
"Next we get you settled in" a voice said
The rangers then turned to find Claudia with several maids behind her, all them holding some of Rangers belongings in their arms.
"We took the liberty to make your new rooms in the castle" Claudia said
"Thank you, we really appreciate this" Eric said making the Templar Knight smile
The four rangers then followed the knight as they made their way into the castle. Luckily they didn't have to go far since they came to a few doors on each side of the hallway. One maid opened up one door, which revealed a very Japanese style room with different training equipment for martial arts and pictures of different animals on the walls.
"We were able to bring your possessions from your old home here and as you can tell this room is for Kelvin" Claudia said
Kelvin then entered his room and looked with a smile on his face as he flopped onto the bed.
"Oh yes, this will do great" Kelvin said with a smile
We then moved on to the next room and inside was quite a sight as well. The room almost looked like a 90's cop office, with a desk in far side of room and tons of boxes with papers with information of different people.
"Nice, I see you brought my papers here as well" Alex said as he looked around his new room
"Yes and may I admit you sure do keep a lot of them" Claudia said making Alex chuckle
"I like to be well informed" Alex replied as they moved on
The next room held a medieval charm but had a prehistoric vibe to it, considering the many dinosaur statues and fossils that adorned the walls and shelves.
"Ah, feels just like home" Michal said sitting down on the bed
The final room was actually quite bland, beside from a very white paintjob of the room and a sword stand that Saba laid upon and seemed to be taking a nap.
"Honestly, I was surprised you had very little belongings considering you status as leader" Claudia said
"Yeah, I prefer my living space to be clean and tidy and not full of stuff" Eric replied
So with nod from Claudia she then went off, leaving Eric alone in his room. He then heard a snort coming from the sword stand and found Saba waking up and started to float off the sword stand.
"Hey Saba, how are feeling?" Eric asked his partner
"Quite well, a little cat nap does wonders for one's self" he replied making Eric chuckle
"Yeah, you'll need it for what's coming next" Eric said as he lay down on his bed and stared at the ceiling in thought.

It was now afternoon and the streets were bustling with people, with many vendors and shops now busy with people ready to buy. Among the crowd of people, the four Rangers were exploring the city to help get familiar with their new home.
"Man, talk about a busy place" Kelvin said looking around the place
"Yep, way different from our old village" Michal added
Though as they walked, they couldn't help but feel the people staring at them as they past, but that was to be expected seeing as how they revealed themselves to the entire city. Suddenly Eric then heard a couple of kids running across the road, playing a game of tag with each other. Suddenly a silver horse-carriage was being seen coming down the road and heading straight for the children. Thinking quickly Eric then jumped in front of the carriage and held his arms out in order to stop it, which it did causing the horses to halt in their tracks. Eric then turned to the frighten children and got down on his knee.
"You two okay?" Eric asked as the kids nodded, "That's good, just don't go playing in the road okay?" he said as the kids nodded again
The kids then ran off back into the crowd as the other Rangers made their way over to Eric.
"And that is why you're Mighty Morphin White" Michal said patting him on the back
"Maybe, but I know you guys would have done the same too" Eric said making the others chuckle
"Yeah, but I don't think we would get in front of pair of horses" Kelvin said with chuckle
They then heard the carriage burst open, causing the four Rangers to jump. Then out the carriage came a very tall and muscular man, he had a metal chest plate and shoulder pads over a very long white robe that reached down to his ankles and he's hair was gray with a large bald spot in the middle of his head. The man then walked in front of group with a very angry look on his face as he stared at the Eric and his friends.
"Boy, you better have a good explanation for this?!" the man shouted
"Apologies sir, I got in the way because your carriage was going to run over some kids that got in the way" Eric replied
This seemed to calm the old man down as his angry left his face.
"I see, sorry about that" the man said as stuck out his hand, "Grave Levantine" he said as Eric accepted the handshake
"Eric Panthera, nice meet you sir Levantine" Eric said
Grave's eyes then widen in shock as he looked him over.
"Eric! I remember you now, you one of those Power Rangers that Celestine introduced" Grave said as Eric smirked
"That's right, Mighty Morhpin White at your services" Eric said making the man laugh
"Ha, ha, what a day this has been, never did I think I would meet Ken's newest allies today" Grave said making the others smiled, "Now I must say I truly do appreciate what you four are doing for us" Grave said
"Please sir, it's our duty and pleasure to help" Eric replied making the man smile
"Humble, I respect that, very few people are" Grave said
Alex then furrowed his eyes in thought as something just came to his mind.
"Levantine? You are somehow related to Claudia?" Alex asked making the man nod
"Indeed, she's my daughter in law" Grave replied surprising them
"Oh, that's interesting, I had no idea Claudia was married" Alex said
"Indeed, sometimes I think of her as my own daughter" Grave replied as he turned back to his carriage, "Sorry to cut this short but I must get going, I have many duties to attended too" he said as stepped back in his carriage
Then with a command, the horses resumed their pace down the road as the Rangers looked on.
"Huh, so that was Claudia's father in law?" Eric said has he looked with a frown
"He seemed like such a nice guy, hard to believe what he would do to his daughter in law" Alex said with an equal frown.

It was now approaching night with the sun falling over the horizon and the Rangers had a party to attend. It was true, in the hopes of bolstering moral and honor there new alliance with the Princess Alliance they hosted a party in the grand hall. As they entered the ball room they were amazed by the amazing décor of the room, from the hanging chandler made of what looked like diamonds to the well decorated paintings and tapestry's that adorned the walls.
"So this is what a fancy party is like huh…it's okay" Michal said with shrug
To help dress for the new festivities, Celestine had the best seamstress in Ken make them new suits for them to use and of course they were white with their different ranger emblems on the right side of their chests.
"Ah rangers, so good you can make it" a voice said
Turning to the voice, they were greeted by Celestine herself and beside her were Olga herself, much to their surprise.
"Good to be here, but I must admit I didn't expect to see you here Olga" Eric said looking at said dark elf
"Celestine said it would help improve relationships between my kind and the people of Eosita" Olga said until laying eyes on Eric causing her looking at with bedroom eyes, "Though have to admit, you look good like that~" she said biting her lip
Eric then went rigged at her statement making him blush hard. Luckily she was saved when Celestine cleared her throat which broke the tension, but she also sported a blush of sorts.
"Anyway, we'll leave you four be, so please enjoy" Celestine replied as she and Olga walked off
As the two elves walked away, the Rangers decided to split up and try to enjoy the party to an extent. As Eric walked off into the crowd he couldn't help but get glares and distasteful looks from the people around him, or course that was to be expected seeing he was in there eyes, a commoner and they were nobles. Eric then kept his head down as he walked in any direction as to avoid the looks of distain from the people, but to his luck he then bumped into someone causing him to go frantic.
"Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to!" Eric quickly said
"Oh that's alright, I wasn't really looking where I was going either" a male voice said
Looking at the man, he saw he looked slightly old, with some slightly whitish hair and wore some glasses on his face, but what he wore was quite outlandish seeing as he was dressed like a scribe of some kind.
"Again sorry sir, I'm Eric by the way" Eric said holding out his hand
"Klaus Levantine a pleasure to meet you" Klaus said shacking Eric's hand
When Klaus looked at Eric's face, he's eyes widen in shock as he gasped.
"Wait a minute, your one of the…" he said
"Power Rangers? Yes, yes I am" Eric said finishing Klaus sentence
Klaus then took his hand again and shook it again, only this time with more energy.
"By the goddess, it is honor to meet you sir, I have so many questions!" Klaus said, with much enthusiasm while still shaking his hand.
Luckily Eric then pulled away from the man's grasp but Klaus started yammer on with random questions like "where did you come from" and "how to you obtain these powers" and so on. Eric tried to answer his questions, but to no avail seeing as he talked to fast for him to understand.
"Klaus dear, please stop bothering him" a very familiar voice said
Looking behind the man, Eric was surprised to meet with Claudia, still wearing her armor strangely enough and stopped by Klaus's side making the man stop talking and take a breath.
"Sorry about my husband sir Eric, he's a very curious one" Claudia said with a smile
"Oh it's no problem Miss Claudia I…what did you say husband?" Eric asked making her nod
"Yes, this is my husband Klaus" she said as she nuzzled up to the scribe
Looking between the two, he couldn't believe the two of them were married. The difference was like night and day between the two.
'Wow and hot women don't usually go for the nerds' Eric thought
Suddenly a thought came to his mind.
"Um sorry if this is sudden, but I actually meet your father in law earlier today" Eric said
Suddenly Klaus then looked away with a sadden look, making Eric concerned and confused.
"Did I say something wrong?" Eric asked which Claudia shock her head
"No it's just…Klaus and his father don't exactly see eye to eye" Claudia said
Eric then looked with shock at Klaus as he wrapped his head around it. Claudia then placed her hands on her husband's shoulders and rubbed them to soothe him, which seemed to do the trick. Seeing the hurt look on Klaus face Eric felt really bad.
"Klaus, sorry for what I said, I didn't know you and your father weren't on good terms" Eric said making Klaus smile
"It's alright Sir Eric, it's something I've gotten used to over the years" Klaus added making Eric frown
"But why? Why does your father not like you?" Eric asked, making Klaus sigh as well as Claudia
"Merely because of what I am, a scholar and not a warrior like him" Klaus said making Eric frown harder
Seeing as Klaus was getting uncomfortable with this he decided it was time for him to leave.
"Well thank you for your company, but I best move on" Eric said
"Very well then, I hope to see you on the field of battle soon Eric" Claudia replied as the two parted ways.

With Michal, he was simply leaning against the wall next to a nearby window while sipping a glass of water. Michal was never one for interacting with people outside his friends group so he decided to just stick to the sidelines.
"Ugh, I wish I was anywhere but here" Michal said as he looked out the window at the starry sky
"I don't see what's stopping you from leaving" a voice said
Looking over, Michal saw it was Alicia and beside her was Prim.
"Hello your majesties, fancy meeting you here tonight" Michal said
"Thank you" Alicia said with a nod
"So any reason you've come to see me your majesty?" Michal asked
"Actually it was more Prim's intention then mine" Alicia said
Alicia then stepped aside to reveal her young cousin, looking quite shy and nervous. She then took a deep breath and looked at Michal in the eye.
"Sir Michal, I wanted to say thank you…for helping us during this coming war" Prim said with a slight bow
Michal then gained a small smile at Prim's shy nature. Michal then walked up to the young women gave her a gentle pat on the head, causing the young pink haired girl to blush.
"Think nothing of it your majesty, it my duty and pleasure to assist you and the people" He said as he removed his hand.
Prim then gained a small smile and blush while Alicia looked on with a smirk.
"Humph, for someone as brash as you, I'm surprised you have this kind of mannerism" Alicia said making Prim gasp
"Big sister, don't say stuff like that!" Prim said with a pout
But to the two princess's surprise, Michal just laughed off the comment as if it was joke rather than an insult.
"Oh don't worry about it madam Prim, I'm quite used to comments like that" he said as looked out the window with a reminiscent look on his face, "I've been called a lot of things in my past, problem child, delinquent, trouble maker, but at the end of day things like that don't matter to me just as long as things like that aren't directed at my friends" Michal said
Hearing this, Alicia then gained a very small smile as well as Prim.
"Those three are important to you aren't they?" Alicia asked
"Yes, to be honest their more like family then friends" Michal replied
Satisfied with that answer Alicia and Prim then said their goodbyes and parted ways.

Alex was merely roaming around the ball room, while snaking on some appetizers they had.
"Geez, for a party this is kind of boring" Alex said leaning against a pillar
"Just leave me alone!" a voice shouted out
Alex then jerked his head to the sound and to his surprise he found Maia, still in the same uniform as they meet, and looked extremely pissed.
"Please my dear Maia, can't you see we are meant to be together, trust me I'll treat you well, I promise" a very fat man said
He was definitely a noble by the look of his attire though his appearance was one to be desired as he was extremely fat, with his gut just hanging out for all to see.
"I don't care, beat it now!" Maia shouted at the fat man
"Please my love…" the fat man said but Maia then placed her hand on her sword hilt
"Call me that again, and I will gut you where you stand" Maia said through gritted teeth
Seeing this, Alex could see he needs to intervene before things got out of hand. So Alex quickly walked over to the duo and got in front of the fat man, surprising Maia out her angry.
"Good to see you again Miss Maia" Alex greeted with a smile
Seeing him Maia then relaxed and removed her hand from her handle.
"Good to see you to Omega Ranger" Maia replied
"Please call me Alex" Alex said making Maia smile
"Not one for formalities I see" she said crossing her arms
"Yeah it just never suited me" Alex replied
"Excuse me!" the fat man shouted making Alex turn to him
"Oh hello, can I help you?" Alex asked making the scoff at him
"You can, by removing yourself from this area at once…commoner" he said with a sneer at the end
Alex then chuckled at this making the man confused.
"And…who are you?" Alex asked making the man gasp
"What! I'll have you know I am Michelle Pantielle! Son to Michael Pantielle and one of thee greatest noble household here in Ken!" Michelle said as Alex nodded
"Oh now I see…you're a snob then" Alex replied making Maia giggle in response
Michelle looked flabbergasted at Alex's statement until turning to angry.
"How dare you say that to me?! Who do you think you are?!" he shouted, pointing an accusing finger at Alex
"Alex Copper" he said until flashing his Morpher at him "Omega Ranger" he finished with a smirk
Seeing this Michelle's face turned from angry to shock and terror at Alex but still tried to keep some form of confidence, if you can even call it that.
"Well…that still m-means nothing…to an n-n-nobleman like…" Michelle said until Alex got right up in his face with a glare, which shut the fat man up.
"I know a million ways to break every bone in your body…so scram you pig" Alex said
That comment instantly made the man turn tall and run away from Alex, as Alex gained a satisfied smile.
"Well that was fun, Maia are you…" Alex asked only to be suddenly hugged from Maia, much to his shock
"Thank you! Oh my gosh, thank you!" Maia shouted with a huge smile on her face
"Um, you're welcome?" Alex replied, quite confused
Maia then released him from her grip as she continued to smile.
"You have no idea how much this means to me" she said
"Why?" Alex asked
"That little brat has been fawning after me for so long and it's so hard to get rid of him" Maia said as Alex nodded in understanding
"And I'm guessing you don't like him do you?" Alex said making Maia scoff
"That's right, so believe me you doing that is a huge relief" Maia said with a smile
"Well happy to help" Alex replied
Maia then turned on her heel and walked to the exit much to Alex's confusion.
"You're not staying for the rest of the party?" Alex asked which Maia shook her head
"Parties like this aren't my style, I only came because of Celestine, and I prefer a good old fashion bar" Maia said with a cheeky smile
Alex then rolled his eyes at this as he waved to Maia.
"Alright then, I guess I'll see you around then" Alex said as Maia walked off

Unlike the others, Kelvin decided to go outside the ballroom. There he found a garden with many flowers and hedges and not mention different stone statutes of elf like warriors and magicians. It was here that Kelvin was doing some practice moves and stances in the garden, enjoying the calming nature that it provides.
"You know that there is a party right?" a voice said
Stopping his training, Kelvin saw it was Kaguya who was standing by with a smile on her face.
"I would be telling you the same thing" Kelvin said walking over to the shrine priest
The shrine maid then made a small chuckle which confused Kelvin.
"What's so funny?" he asked
"Oh nothing it's just…it's so hard to believe our new allies are a bunch of bakery boys from a small village, and I didn't even notice it" she said making Kelvin chuckle
"Yeah, again sorry about keeping this a secret" Kelvin said as Kaguya shook her head
"No need, you had your reasons and I respect that" she replied
The two of them then looked up at the large moon that was hanging in the sky.
"By the way, I never got to thank you" Kaguya said
"Thank us? For what?" Kelvin asked, again making the shrine maid giggle
"Don't tell me you forgot when you saved me from those Orcs" She replied
"Oh right, well thanks but there's no need for that, it was our duty and pleasure" Kelvin said with a smile making Kaguya giggle.
"You surprise me at how humble you four are…it nice" she said until walking away
Kelvin couldn't help but look on after her, of course being the hormonal pre adult he was, he couldn't help but take a quick peek at Kaguya's very fine asset.
'You know, if that booty of hers wasn't so deadly, I would smash' Kelvin thought with a chuckle as he resumed his training.
Sorry if there wasn't much action in this chapter, this one was mostly kind of a meet and greet/foreshadowing for the coming story. Never the less I hope you all like it and I hope to hear your thoughts on this.
