Chapter 7

The War Begins

It has begun, the Sex Empire has made their move and in turn so did they. It started with a raid on the neighboring village, but thanks to an emergency broadcast system that Alex was able to create Ken and the Rangers then mobilized to meet the attack. So that brings us to here where the Rangers were standing on the outside of the village with Chloe and Claudia standing with them and a small army behind them.

"And you're sure Vault will attack this village?" Claudia said fiddling with her sword handle

"Positive, the broadcast came from this location" Alex replied

"Ugh, but it's been hours now, where are they?" Chloe said crossing her arms, itching to fight against her enemies

"Be patient dark elf, and please keep your mouth shut" Claudia said making Chloe glare at her

"Like I would take orders from a filth human" Chloe said making Claudia glare back

"I beg your pardon; I should have you beheaded for that!" Claudia shouted, hand on her blade

"Oh yeah, I would like to see you try!" Chloe shouted back with her hands on her daggers

The two were about to draw their blades and attack, each getting ready to cut each other down.

"Okay you two knock it off" Eric called from over his shoulder

Luckily this stopped the two warriors from attacking until turning to Eric. He then pointed out in the horizon and just over the hills they could see it. A raiding party of mercenaries and monsters with weapons ready and waiting, all of them carried the insignia of the Black Dogs.

"Here they come!" Kelvin shouted

Everyone then drew there weapons as they stared down the group of monsters that approached them. Eric then walked up in front of everyone as held his Morpher in his hand.

"You guys ready?" Eric asked

The others then pulled out there morphers in turn.

"Ready!" they replied

Claudia then looked down at the boys with interest as she watched the four got ready to, as they called it "Morph".

'Hm, let's see if these morphs are as exciting to see as Olga says they are' Claudia thought as she watched

"It's Morphin Time, Tigerzord!"

"White Ranger, Dino Power!"

"S.P.D, Emergency!"

"Jungle Beast, Spirit Unleash!"

Then with a blinding flash of light the four turned into their ranger forms and stuck their signature poses.

"Power Rangers!"

Everyone was amazed by the sight, minus from Chloe who just smiled with satisfaction. Chloe then leaned over to a shocked Claudia.

"Pretty impressive huh?" Chloe said

Claudia could only nod at this, as she was still surprised from the spectacle. Claudia then shook off her surprise as she raised her weapon for battle.

"So what is the plan?" Claudia asked Eric

"This, Michal, you, Alex and Chloe are our fastest fighters" Eric said, "I want you three to get in that crowd attack the orcs and other big creatures, your speed will make you hard to hit" Eric said getting a nod from Michal.

"We've got your back Eric, come on you two lets' do this" Michal said

With that said Michal, Alex and Chloe then ran ahead the others and charged at the group.

"The rest of us will from a defensive line, nothing gets in this village" Eric said drawing Saba from his sheath

"You heard him; all spear men to the front and archers to the back!" Claudia shouted as the soldiers got into position.

As Eric and the army stood at the ready, Michal and his group then jumped into the group and started to lay waste to the group's large enemies that they had. Michal used his super speed to dash to one Orc or Minotaur and delivered a lethal strike to his targets weak spots. Alex used his hyper mode to deal with multiply targets at once with the combination with his enhanced strength. All the while Chloe used her nimble nature and agility to avoid the Orc's attacks and slight their throats, easily killing them. But unknown to her, a stray Orc then swung his club at her which hit Chloe in the side and sent her sprawled on the ground. Chloe then gripped her side with a sneer of pain and could possibly feel one her ribs were broken, of course the Orc took advantage of this and raised his mace to strike her. Though before the weapon could strike her Michal then rushed forward and blocked it with his Drago Sword and wagged his finger at the monster.

"Sorry, but hitting girls is a big no, no" Michal taunted

Then Michal then kicked the mace out the Orc's hand and ran his Drago Sword into the monsters chest and piercing its heart. Once it was down, Michal then turned to Chloe and extended his hand to her which she accepted and pulled her to her feet.

"You okay there?" Michal asked which Chloe nodded

"Yeah, I'll be fine" she replied

Then a Minotaur then flew over their heads and landed into a group of unaware Black Dogs, crushing them under the Orc's weight. Alex then walked up to the two while rubbing his wrist.

"Well, that was good workout" Alex said as Chloe and Michal rolled their eyes

Back with Eric and Kelvin, they along with Claudia and her soldiers were holding off the human portion of the army since there monster half was being taken care of. Of course the Black dogs were no match for the two Rangers or Claudia's skills. With Kelvin he was busy sending one Dog after another flying with a flurry of punches and kicks.

"Okay! Who's next?!" Kelvin shouted into the crowd

Soon another group of Dogs came rushing at Kelvin but he simply jumped over them as he pointed his Morpher at them.

"Rhino Morpher, stampede!" Kelvin shouted out as blasted at the group, boring into each fighter

Claudia had cut down two more attackers with ease, while still commanding her soldiers.

"Keep in formation everyone, don't let them through!" Claudia shouted

She was then knocked down suddenly and was pinned to the ground by an unsuspecting mercenary. The Dog then licked his lips as stared lustfully at Claudia; he then reached toward her skirt so that he can have her.

"Get off me you slime!" she shouted

But before the man could go any further, he was kicked right off the Templar Knight by Eric. Eric then pointed Saba at the man and fired a blast at him that went right through him. Eric then gave Claudia a hand which she accepted and hoisted her up to her feet.

"You okay, your majesty?" Eric asked

"Yes, thank you" she said

"My pleasure and remember be aware always" Eric said as he charged back into the battle.

It was a tough battle but at the end of it all, the rangers had won and were now assisting the villagers in the rebuild of their home and helping the injured. Once that was accomplished everyone made their way back to Ken to rest up and to report what has happened today.

"…and luckily there were no casualties to report, only a few wounded" Eric said to Celestine

"Very good, a very first victory in this war is one step closer to an end" Celestine said with a smile, "Now you four must be exhausted after your battle, why don't you all rest up" Celestine said

"Thank you, call if anything comes up" Eric said as he and the others walked out of the meeting room.

Once the Rangers were gone Celestine then turned to Claudia.

"So, what do think of your new comrades?" she asked as Claudia thought about it

"Well…despite their dramatic flair, they fight very well together and they always look out for each other and for others as well" she replied making Celestine smile

"That's good to hear, it's good to know how selfless they are" Celestine said

In the town square, the Rangers were hanging out at a local bar, relaxing after the long battle.

"So I got a ask man, how many Orc's did you guys kill back there?" Kelvin asked

"Hmm, I think my score was around seventeen, minus any Black Dogs that go in the way" Michal replied

"Haha, I got twenty, suck it Michal!" Alex taunted making Michal roll his eyes

Eric then shook his head at the scene before him as he smiled. He enjoyed these moments he had with his friends, it was way of reminding him that no matter what happens they will always stick together.

"Hey guys" Kelvin said getting the others attention, "I've got to ask, and I'm not being a prev when I say this but…Olga, smash or pass?" Kelvin asked

Everyone then went into deep thought, after all if they were going to be here for possibility for the rest of their lives they might as well think about any possible girlfriends in the future.

"Hmm, I'd think I smash" Michal said

"Same here" Alex added

"Me three" Kelvin said until turning to Eric, "What about you, Tiger man?" he asked

"Um, I don't know, maybe?" Eric replied getting a groan from everyone, "What?" he asked

"Dude, I've got to smash it's guaranteed, I mean come on we've all seen how she looks at you" Kelvin said with a smirk making Eric blush.

"Okay, yeah I would, I guess" Eric said, mumbling that last bit

"Okay, okay, How about Celestine?" Kelvin asked

"Naw, man I'll pass" Michal said

"Same here" Alex added

Kelvin looked at the two in shock as he's mouth hanged open.

"What?! Why not smash?" Kelvin asked

"Because, I don't feel comfortable doing it with the queen" Michal replied

"Yeah me neither, she's the goddess reborn after all" Alex added making Kelvin scoff

"Babies, well queen or not I'd smash" Kelvin said

"What about you Eric?" Alex asked

Eric then took a deep breath as stood up from the table.

"I'm going get some more water" Eric said walking away, but until turning around to face the others, "By way, I'd smash" Eric said with a smirk as he walked off

"Woah, dangerous game you're playing Eric" Kelvin said with a cheeky smile

"Okay then, how about…Alicia?" Alex asked, causing Kelvin to think hard

"Well, she's quite good looking but her attitude is one to be desired, Pass" Kelvin said taking a sip of his tea

"Yeah I'd agree with you, pass" Alex said

"I don't know I find her attitude quite attractive, I think I would smash" Michal said, surprising them

"Wow, I didn't you were into the "feisty type"" Kelvin said making Michal smirk

"What can I saw, I live dangerously" Michal said, taking a sip of his root beer

"Alright then, what about Prim?" Kelvin asked making Michal think hard

"Hmm, Well, I find her cute as button and someone I would seeing having a good relationship with, so yeah smash, respectfully" Michal said

"Not for me though, I see as a little sister, so pass" Alex said

"Yeah, I don't see her as someone you find in bed with so pass" Kelvin added

"Okay then what about Maia?" Eric asked sitting with the others

"Maia, huh…I don't think so, bad girl is not my type, pass" Kelvin replied

"Me neither" Michal said

"Hmm, maybe I would, who knows maybe it could be fun" Eric said with shrug

Everyone then looked at Alex who was looking down with a blush on his face.

"…smash" Alex said making the others look at him shocked.

"Woah! Alex, I had no idea you had a thing for…bad girls" Kelvin said, making Alex blush harder

"They, uh, intrigue me" Alex replied

"Okay then…so what about…luu…" Kelvin started to say until everyone stood up from their seats and shouted.

"NO!"

Kelvin was taken aback by this as everyone sat down.

"Why? I mean she's technically legal age since she's like a hundred years or something" Kelvin said

"Yeah but she also looks like and sounds like a kid, sorry but no thanks" Alex said

"Same here" Michal said crossing him arms

"Ditto" Eric added

"Okay now that you think about it, yeah I'll pass" Kelvin said has everyone nodded

"Okay just one left, Kaguya" Michal said, which instantly got a shake of the head from Eric and Alex.

"No way man, she's a shrine maiden there is no way she would let us anywhere near her…"sacred area"" Alex said

"Yeah, not mention if you remember her "other entrance" is literally a death trap" Michal added

"Well I would still smash" Kelvin said with a cheeky smile

The others then looked at him in surprise while Kelvin just drank his tea.

"Dude, you got a death wish?" Michal asked while Kelvin just chuckled

"Maybe I do, maybe I don't" Kelvin replied

"So…this is where you four are?" A voice said

The four Rangers then looked at who spoke and found Maia standing in front of them with a smile on her face and her hands on her hips.

"Oh hey Maia, what brings you here?" Eric asked

"Well I actually I came here to find you four" she replied

This got their attention has they switched to a more serious persona.

"What's going on?" Eric asked

"Celestine as summoned you four to the castle, there is a special message for you four" Maia replied

So with a nod and after laying some money on the table for the drinks, they stood up from their seats to leave.

"We'll be their" Eric said as they left through the door.

Back at the castle, the four rangers were now standing in Celestine's throne room with Claudia standing by her side. Off to the side was Olga with her staff in hand and Chloe by her side and of course she sent Eric a playful wink making Eric blush.

"Rangers, thank you for coming on short notice" Celestine said as they bowed to her

"Thank you Celestine, we are happy to help" Eric said

Celestine then switched from a cheery self to a more serious look.

"Now, the reason I asked you four to come here because we received an urgent summons from Alicia" she said

"Why has she summoned us, is something wrong?" Eric asked but Celestine shock her head

"She did not say, only for you four and no one else to come to her kingdom of Feoh" Celestine replied

Everyone then frowned at this, after this entire summons sounded like an obvious trap but still raised some concern.

"You're Majesty, if I may this summons definitely smells of a trap" Alex said as Celestine nodded

"Yes I am well aware of that" she said but looked at the two with a serious expression, "but all the more reason to send you" she said making the others nod

"We understand clearly someone what's us dead in that city and is clearly infiltrated the city walls to send this to us which means…" Alex said, but he did not need to finish

"Yes, a traitor" Celestine said with a sigh

The room was then silent as everyone drank in this information, that was until Eric and the others stood to their feet, all of them having looks of determination on their faces.

"Well go your majesty, we'll find this traitor and save Alicia and Prim from any potential danger" Eric said as everyone nodded in agreement

Celestine then gained a smile as she looked at the four of them with pride.

"Thank you Rangers, thank you so much" she said as they others in the room smiled in turn.

It was midday and the Rangers were traveling to Feoh by horseback. While it was true they could get their faster with their vehicles but they didn't want to freak the locals seeing as not everyone has heard of the Power Rangers…yet.

"How much longer till we reach Feoh?" Michal asked

"Well according to this map, we should be able to see Feoh from just over this hill" Alex replied pointing ahead.

Once the Rangers got over the hill they were met with the sight of Feoh in the distance. Like Ken it was grand and majestic but was extremely fortified, with huge walls surrounding it.

"Wow, talk about home security" Kelvin joked

Eric was looking at the city with an intense stare, which got the others a little spooked.

"What's up man?" Michal asked

Eric didn't respond, just took a deep breath and moved forward. With a shrug the others then followed after him all the while Eric still held his glare.

"I've got a bad feeling about this" Eric said to himself

The Ranges were now within the walls of Feoh and were now walking along the streets. Though there was definitely something wrong here, it was too quiet, like dead quite. There was no one around, no merchants, no buyers not even children to play around…something was defiantly wrong.

"Where is everyone, this place looks deserted?" Kelvin said looking around

"I know, it's like a ghost town" Michal said

Although during this whole time Eric still held his scowl as he looked around the area for anything but found nothing. Alex then walked up beside Eric, who also had a scowl on is face too.

"So…trap?" Alex asked

"Trap" Eric replied

Then a clang could be heard on the ground catching everyone's attention. Looking down at Eric's foot they saw a metal chest plate on the ground that was turned face down. Eric then reached down and turned it over only to grip the chest plate tightly as he saw the chest plate's insignia…the Black Dogs.

"Darn it! We have been duped!" Eric throwing the chest plate across the streets

Once it hit the ground it made a loud clang that echoed all across the area. Suddenly out of the shadow sprung tons of Black Dog's and monsters that came charging out and surrounded the four rangers. The Rangers then got up against each other, back to back as they took up fighting positions.

"Well…isn't this a nice welcome" Kelvin said sarcastically

Suddenly they heard someone clapping from the crowd of Black Dogs and monsters as a man walked out from the group. The man was slightly short and was a bit pudgy, he seemed to be in his forty's evident by his slightly grayish hair. He also wore a brown shirt with a green shoulder cape and a red hat upon his head.

"Well, you must be the "Power Rangers" that I've heard so much about" the man said, while he looked the four of them over, "frankly I'm not impressed" he said with a cocky smirk

"And you are?" Eric asked while giving the man glare

"Ah yes, I suppose it would be polity to introduce your executioner" the man said making some of the Black Dogs snicker, "I am Minister Beardsley, one of Alicia's court members" he said with a bit of pride

"So you're the traitor!" Eric said through gritted teeth making Beardsley chuckle

"Yes that is true and might I say it was the best decision I ever made" Beardsley said with a smirk

But seeing that smirk just angered them greatly has Michal glared daggers at the minister.

"Where is Alicia and Prim, you dirt bag?!" Michal shouted at the man

"Hmph, well if you must know I gave Prim to the Pig men brothers and are doing whatever to her" he said with a smirk making Michal growl, "As for my precious Alicia, she is in the castle, just waiting for me to claim her purity" he said while drooling as well

Michal then roared as he tried to grab at the evil Minster but Alex held him back to keep him from doing something reckless.

"Alicia and Prim are not objects you can just use, we'll see to that our selves" Eric said making Beardsley laugh as well as the other Black Dogs and Monsters.

"And how are you supposed to do that…when you'll be dead in a few seconds" Beardsley said as the army armed themselves with their weapons, "Kill them" he ordered as he walked away

The mercenaries then moved on the four Rangers as they held their battle stances. All the while Michal then looked up at the castle in the distance.

"Don't worry you two were coming." Michal said as he stared down the army that approached.
