Chapter 9
Dino's Roar
Alex had just finished freeing the rest of the prisoners and had lead them out of the castle and to a secure area in the city. So after a quick call to Eric telling him about the free prisoners he then rushed back into the castle to find his friend.
"Man, I hope I'm not too late" Alex said as he ran down the hall

In the throne room, Michal stood before the ex-minster Beardsley and Alicia with his blade drawn and resting on his shoulder.
"Minster Beardsley, we meet again" Michal said
Beardsley looked at the White Dino with fear, while Alicia looked at him with a smile. She then looked at Beardsley with a smirk as the man trembled in place.
"What was that about "the odds being in your court"?" Alicia asked in a smug tone
Beardsley recovered his wits and looked at Michal in angry.
"Impossible, there's no way you got past all those guards?!" Beardsley shouted at him, making Michal scoff
"Tsh, really? Those were the best you got?" Michal said in a mocking tone, "Me and my friends have been demolishing those fuys since this war began, honestly it's kind of sad you keep throwing these guys at us" he said with a shake of his head.
Alicia couldn't help but chuckle slightly at this, which caused Beardsley to fume in angry.
"Okay listen tubby, how about you save yourself some embarrassment and just let her go, and I might let you live" Michal said
Beardsley then stopped growling as he looked at the White Dino in surprise as well as Alicia.
"Really?" Beardsley asked, causing Michal to laugh
"Haha, heck no man, once Alicia is free it's straight to the chopping block for you man" Michal said
Beardsley then went back to angry as he seethed at the Ranger.
"Grrrr, why don't you just die?!" Beardsley shouted at him
"Psst, you're going to need something better then what you've been dishing out" Michal said, smirking underneath his helmet.
Beardsley kept snarling at the Ranger, until suddenly his glare turned to smile and chuckled. Michal was quite confused by Beardsley's change in attitude, as well as Alicia.
"A hate to agree with a peasant but you are right" he said, making Michal grip his sword tighter, "I do need something better to kill you" he said
Alicia's eyes then widen in shock as a single eye appeared behind Michal and was hanging right above the White Dino's head.
"Michal look out!" Alicia shouted
Michal then quickly turned around but when he did he felt something large and heavy smack right into him, causing sparks to erupt from his suit and sent him flying into the far wall and falling face first onto the ground. Michal then pulled himself back up to his knees and saw a huge shape with a huge hammer coming at him. It then swung down at him, causing Michal to roll out the way of the strike, causing a resounding bang as it hit the stone floor. Quickly, Michal then got up to his feet and quickly took a fighting stance at the monster while also taking a good look at his new foe. The monster in question was a cyclops, a very rare monster among the ranks of the Empire, they have been known for their immense strength and tall height, roughly standing at about 10 feet.
"A cyclops, where did you get one of these?" Michal asked, making the minister chuckle
"Volt leaded it to me, he said it might be necessary to deal with you Rangers" Beardsley replied, "I didn't think I would have to resort to these things but I think they will do the job" he said
Michal then looked at the minster with surprise as a certain word caught the Rangers attention.
"Wait, they?" Michal said
Suddenly, out the shadows came three more cyclops, all them wielding hammers and equally as ugly.
"Oh boy" Michal said underneath his breath
One of the Cyclopes then proceeded to rush at Michal and swung his hammer at him, but Michal jumped out of the way and charged at the monster. He then raised his Drago Sword and slashed across the monsters chest, but to Michal's surprise the blade didn't even break the skin and only left a scratch at best. Seeing Michal's failed attempt to attack the giant monster, Beardsley then laughed at this while Alicia looked on in fear.
"Oh yes, didn't I tell you, a cyclops has very tough skin" he said
Unfortunately Michal was distracted long enough to be hit by a hammer swing, causing him to go flying across the room and causing his suit to spark as well until crashing into a stone pillar. Once Michal landed on the ground, another cyclops then came at with an overhead swing, but Michal then rolled out the way and flipped his sword around to perform a laser arrow attack but another cyclops came up behind and swung at him. Michal saw this in the corner of his eye and quickly turned around and blocked the giant hammer with his sword but another one then came up behind him and smashed him in the back. He was then sent skimming across the floor of the throne room until sliding into another wall with a thud. Michal then slowly got back to his feet but he noticed something seemed to be missing; he quickly looked around and found his sword lying on the other side of the room.
"Oh shoot" Michal said under his breath
Michal was about to go get his sword back, but another cyclops then came at him from the side. Michal then jumped away from the monsters attack and landed on the side of pillar, only to then jump off and delivery a kick to the monster's face causing it to stagger. Michal then run at the sword with his super speed but only to meet another hammer as a cyclops hit him dead center, causing the air to leave his lungs as he was once again sent flying into the wall. Michal then slammed right into the wall, causing it to shatter and fall apart around him as he slumped to the floor. Michal didn't move after that, Alicia started to cry at this while Beardsley laughed at this. Though Beardsley's celebration was cut short when Michal then tried to pull himself up only to fall back on the ground with a groan.
"Huh, honestly can't you see you're beaten, not even the mightiest warriors can defeat a cyclops much less four" Beardsley said with a scoff, "Why don't you just … give up" he said
Michal then paused, he's body went rigid and his mind wandered as those words bounced around in his head.
'Give up huh?' Michal thought
(Flashback)
It was the middle of the afternoon and school was about to go out for spring break, but for a certain young boy it just meant one final beating until the semester begins again. It was in the back of the school and a certain young boy was getting his butt handed to him by a very large bully.
POW!
A fist then collided with a young kids face, causing him to fall to the ground with a new bloody nose as a result.
"Geez Michal, you just don't know when to quit do you?" the bully said cracking his knuckles
That was right, the boy being pummeled right now was a young fourteen year old Michal and right now he was mad. The young Michal then pushed himself back to his feet and raised his fists to fight, only to be hit in the stomach by the bully and was sent to ground on his knees.
"My gosh, your pathetic, why don't you just give up!" the bully shouted
Michal then looked behind him and saw a young black girl all curled up in the corner of the school building. Michal then raised himself to his feet and raised his fists once more while having a very stern glare on his face.
"Because if I do, then no one will be safe" he said
(End Flashback)
Michal then balled his hand into a tight fist as he gripped a fallen piece of wall and pulled himself up with a groan. Seeing this, Beardsley looked in shock while Alicia looked on with hope in her eyes as Michal stood on his feet. Once again the cyclops started to walk towards him, fully intending on finishing on what they started. One Cyclops then raised his hammer to swing, but suddenly a loud and primal roar erupted from Michal, causing his helmet to move slightly, like a dinosaur letting out a battle cry. The cyclops then back up slightly, surprising Beardsley greatly.
"Hey Beardsley, you want to know why I don't give up?!" Michal shouted at the old man, making him sweat profoundly.
"Because If I gave up it would be an insult to everything I stand for, if I gave up who would protect those who cannot, if I gave up it would show that people can just walk all over me like I'm nothing, If I gave up…then I could never call myself a Power Ranger. So let this be known, no matter what you or any of our "friends" throw at us, we will stand tall and become the wall of protection that people need, even if it costs us our lives."
Once Michal was done, Alicia couldn't help but look at the Ranger before her. Here he was, a man that no matter how many times he goes down he'll get back up and fight. If there wasn't hero before there was truly one now and he was standing before her now.
"Well…even if that was the case, what can you do now, your weapon is out of reach and you're on your last legs, what more can you do" Beardsley said with a small smirk
But he's smirk then disappeared when Michal then chuckled as he straighten himself and stared right at the old man behind his visor.
"Who said that was my only weapon" Michal said
Michal then crossed his arms with his fingers curled and slowly uncrossed his arms as he suddenly started to glow.
"SUPER DINO MODE!"
Michal then glowed a very bright orange as the black parts of his suit seemed to extend and grow outward, until the glow vanished and what stood before them was quite a sight. Michal now had large black spikes on his shoulders, legs and arms while on the back of his hands were two large blades with jagged edges.
Both Alicia and Beardsley looked in surprise at Michal's new look as Michal flexed his new and refreshed muscles as he brandished his new blades.
"So…who's first?" Michal asked
One of the Cyclopes then came at him with an overhead swing, but when the hammer came down on Michal he simply caught the hammer with one hand. The cyclops didn't even had a chance to be surprised as Michal then ran his blade into the cyclops's head and out the other end, easily killing it as it slid off his blade and fell to the ground. The other monsters were in complete shock at the death of their comrade as Michal flicked off the blood from his blade.
"Okay you one-eyed losers, round 2!" Michal shouted and charged
(Play Dino Thunder Theme)
Michal then jumped high into the air and landed on a cyclops's shoulders. Michal then stabbed his blades into the monsters shoulders, causing it to roar in pain. Michal then jumped off it shoulders, dragging his blades down as he did causing the cyclops to be cut into three pieces. One the cyclops then came at from the side with a hammer swing but Michal then jumped over the swing and sliced the weapon in half. The White Dino then slashed across the monster midsection, cutting it in half with ease.
"One to go" Michal said turning his attention to the last monster
The cyclops then dropped his hammer and tried to flee but Michal then jumped into the air, causing him to glide through the air and landed in front of the monster.
"Sorry but were not done dancing" Michal said as held up his blades
Michal's blades then started to glow as he energized them. Michal then slashed at the monster causing his blades to extend and bend like whips as he lashed at the cyclops. After the last lash Michal then turned his back to the sparking monster as it fell over and exploded.

Once the monsters were gone, Michal then turned his attention to where Beardsley would be but found no one. He then heard what sounded like someone trying to open a door, making Michal look over to his left and saw Beardsley, trying to open a side door but was failing miserably. Michal then ran in front of him, causing the old man to freeze in place as he wagged his finger at him.
"Sorry, but were not done talking" Michal said
He then kicked Beardsley in the chest, sending the old man flying into a wall and slid down to the ground with a groan. Once that was done, Michal then ran over to Alicia and cut the collar that was holding her in place.
"You okay, your majesty?" Michal said as he helped the princess to her feet
"Yes, for the most part" Alicia said rubbing her neck
Michal then turned back to the old man, seeing him trying to crawl away. Michal then walked over to the old man, standing over him as Michal's shadow casted over him. Michal then kicked Beardsley in the stomach, causing the man to gasp in pain until another kick was sent to his face, causing him to be sitting before Michal.
"There are so many things I could do to you right now" Michal said holding up on his blades
"Wait, Wait!" Beardsley shouted causing Michal to stop, if only to hear the pathetic man's pleas, "You must understand, we men have been under women's authority for so long, don't think we deserve to be on top" Beardsley said trying so hard to convince him.
"So?" Michal replied shocking the old man
"So?! Don't you see if we were in charge, we could have everything we ever wanted, we could finally be the ones calling the shots like back in the old times?!" Beardsley shouted
Michal then stared at the old man, not a word was spoken. Beardsley slightly smiled, thinking he had won over the Ranger, only to be kicked right in the crotch much to his surprise and displeasure.
"That is the dumbest reason I've ever heard in my life!" Michal shouted at the old man as he raised his blade, "I should just end you right here and now just for that" Michal said causing the old man to shut his eyes
But Michal then lowered his blade, much to his surprise as the Ranger turned to Alicia.
"But that's not my call to make" he said as he stepped aside
Alicia then stood before Beardsley with a sharp glare on her face as she stared down the old man. Beardsley then jumped at Alicia's feet as he started to weep tears.
"Please your majesty, have mercy on this old, feeble man!" he pleaded as Alicia just stared at him, "I promise, I'll be loyal to you and only you, I promise I'll never have dirty thoughts about you again just please spare me!" he shouted, clinging to Alicia's feet.
But Alicia just kicked the poor sap off her feet, putting the old man's back against the wall.
"You disgust me" Alicia said in a low voice
Michal then held out the handle of his Drago Sword to Alicia, causing her to look at the sword in surprise. Alicia then grabbed hold of the sword's handle and held it in her hand, already astounded by the sword. It felt light in her hand like a feather yet she's seen this blade cut down foes easily with one strike. Griping the handle she then returned her glare to Beardsley as the old man continued to plead on.
"Please oh great ruler, I beg you, I will never again betray you, I promise…"
He's words feel silent as he's head came tumbling to the floor as blood pooled around his now headless corpse as it slumped to the floor. Alicia held the sword to the side of her, as the blade dripped with blood and she glared at the dead man.
"See you in Hell" she said quietly as she flicked the blood off the sword.
She then slumped to her knees as she let out an exhausted sigh, causing Michal to hold her in his arms.
"You feel better?" Michal asked causing the princess to nod in response
"Yes, that most certainly helped" she said
Alicia then held out Michal's sword to him, as he took it back and sheathed it. Michal then turned to the broken in door way as he could see a silhouette in the corner.
"It's okay to come on now" Michal called out
The figure then stepped into the throne room, causing Alicia look and gasp at the sight of her cousin Prim, safe and sound.
"Prim!" Alicia shouted with glee as she embraced her cousin in a tight hug
Prim returned the hug in turn as the two princesses wept for joy.
"I'm so happy you're safe" Alicia said with a bright smile
"Me too sis" Prim replied with a smile of her own
Seeing the two embrace put a smile on Michal's face. He then powered down from his Super state as he lifted up his morpher to his face.
"Eric, this is Michal can you hear me?" Michal asked into the morpher
There was moment of silence as Michal waited until he finally heard a voice come through.
"I can Michal, how are things going in the castle?" Eric asked
Michal then looked at the smiling cousins and let out a chuckle.
"Both princesses are safe" Michal replied getting a sigh of relief on the other side
"That's good to hear, let's round everyone up and head to Ken, I'll inform Celestine of this and …" Eric said
Suddenly the room started to shake violently as dust and rubble feel around them. Prim then gripped hard against her cousin as Alicia held on to her as well.
"What is going on?!" Michal said into his communicator
"Check outside and you'll see" Eric replied
Michal, Alicia and Prim then made their way to the balcony to see what was causing the shacking. Once outside they saw a giant form rising from the earth just outside the city walls. It seemed like boulders were rolling up on each other as they stacked higher and higher. Once they were at castle size, the pile then started to take shape until forming a bipedal monster. It was round in shape with a hunchback and big long arms, all made up of several large boulders.
"What is that thing?" Michal asked looking at the large monster
"It's a golem, a magically made creature made up of raw materials, Celestine told about them once before" Alicia replied
Suddenly the golems face then shifted until formed a crystal like surface and on it was a very familiar face, Vault.
"Hello Feoh, if you are hearing this message then Beardsley is dead but not without leaving behind a present for you all" he said, all while having his signature smirk, "since that old fart is dead, we were able to feed off his life force and were able to form this mighty creature…in other words…if I can't have your city…no one can" he said as he's face vanished.
The golem the let out a roar as it marched to the city. Prim then let out a whimper as Alicia held a look of horror on her face.
"Is this really how we die today?" Alicia said
"Not today" Michal said shocking the two princesses
"But how, that monster is bigger and stronger than anything my men can muster, what can you do?" Alicia asked having a hard time believing this.
Michal then chuckled as he looked over at the two princesses.
"Lesson one of Power Rangers, we are no stranger to fighting giant monsters" He said shocking them
"But how?" Prim asked just as confused as her cousin
Michal then looked at the golem as he raised his morpher to his face.
"Dragozord, Stegozord, Online!" he shouted into his morpher
At first nothing happened, all they could hear was the stomping of the monsters footsteps. Suddenly then heard what sounded like the flapping of wings, very big wings. Then a loud shriek could be heard as something large broke through the clouds and swopped in front of the golem causing the rock monster to halt. The creature then landed on the wall of the city as people saw what it was, it held the same color scheme of Michal's suit, it had two large wings where arms would be and a black and yellow fin on its head. Suddenly another stomping could be heard as out of the forest came yet another creature, this one walking on four legs and had spines on it's tail and back and was colored a deep crimson. The two creatures then roared at the golem as everyone looked in awe while Michal looked at the two creatures with pride.
"What…what are those …things?" Alicia said looking at the large beasts
"Those…are my zords" Michal replied
"Zords?" Prim said, slightly frightened by the large beasts
"Yep, every ranger as one of these, there kind of like our giant partners for battles like these" Michal said
He then jumped on the rail of the balcony, shocking the princesses.
"Now, if you excuse me I've got a pile of rubble to smash" he said
Michal then jumped into air, very high in fact and over to the Dragozord. He then seemed to faze right into the head of zord, surprising the princesses as Michal vanished. That was how it was on the outside, on the inside Michal was in the cockpit of the Dragozord. He then hovered his hands over the console has he connected with his zord.
"Okay big buddy, let's do this thing" Michal said
The Dragozord then took off into the sky and approached the golem. Using its sharp wings it made some flybys, causing it to cut into the golem but all that did was make it angry.
"Tough skin huh, then I guess I better take it up a notch" Michal said
He then piloted the Drago to land on the Stego's back as they marched forward.
"Here we go, Dragozord, Stegozord…combine!"
(Play Dino Thunder instrumental)
The Drago and the Stego then let out roar as the two split apart into different parts. The pieces then started to rearrange it's self until it formed a body, with arms and legs. The pieces then snapped into place, ending with a face appearing.
"Dino Stegozord!"
Alicia and Prim looked in awe at the giant warrior before them as the Golem roared at Michal and his newly made Megazord.
"Alright rocky let's dance" Michal said as the Megazord got into a fighting stance.
Back on the ground, the other three rangers were looking up and watching the fight that was about to take place.
"Should we go and help him?" Alex asked
Eric then shook his head, though no one questioned why and for good reason.
"Knowing Michal, he'll want to end this fight on his own terms, after all he started this he'll want to finish it" Eric said as they watched on.
The golem then charged at Michal with its large rock fist raised, it then swung at him but Michal then sidestepped the attack and slashed at the giant monster with the Megazords claws, causing sparks to fly. The golem then let out a roar as it clutched its cut side.
"How do you like that, because I've got tons more, lasers fire!" Michal commanded
The Stegozord's eyes then glowed as two beams shot out and blasted at the rock monster causing a good chunk of its body to come off.
"Beat that, boulder for brains" Michal taunted the monster
The golem then raised its fist, causing boulders to float off the ground and into the air around it. It hen swung it's fists at Michal, causing the rocks to go flying and hit Michal's megazord and cause sparks to fly. Michal almost lost balance in his cockpit from the rough hit but walked it off.
"Okay, now I'm mad…Stego Tail attack!" Michal shouted
The stegozord then jumped into the air, there it curled it's self into a ball. It then launched it's self at the golem, almost like that of a buzz saw and tore apart the front side of the monster. Once the megazord landed on its feet Michal saw something on the monsters front. It looked like a glowing orb then seemed to shift colors, right smack dap in the monsters chest.
"Well, if that doesn't shout weak point I don't what does" Michal said
The megazord then summoned it weapon, long spear with the Dragozords head for the tip. The monster then charged at Michal, fists raised but Michal was counting on this.
"Dino Stegostinger, fire!"
The Stegozord then placed the spear down, causing it to float in the air. The megazord then charged its hands with power until hitting the back of the spear with a force palm, sending it flying forward. The spear then pierced right through the core and out the other end. The stegozord then turned its back to the monster as electricity arced off its body until it exploded in fiery display of power.
"And that's how you topple mountains" Michal said
Everyone in the city then cheered aloud as the monster was defeated, while up in the castle Alicia couldn't help but look at the large megazord with wonder and also with admiration. She then could feel her hear beat quicken than ever before as her cheeks brighten with red.
"Michal Saurus, what a man" she said

In the badlands, Vault was watching a replay of the battle between the Dino Stegozord and the Rock golem. Once it showed the Stegozord piercing the golem the replay vanished. Vault was silent at first until he raised his sword and slashed a pillar in half as he let out a roar.
"Darn those Rangers!" he bellowed out, seething in anger, "it's bad enough they get stronger when they have those fancy suits but now they have these "zords" to help them too!" he shouted
He then turned to Hicks, who was quaking in fear at the sight if his bosses anger.
"Um, boss?" Hicks said until Vault slammed his sword into the ground.
"Hicks! I want you to double our forces immediately" he shouted causing Hicks to nod vigorously, "and tell them that if they see one of those Rangers…Kill…on…sight!"

After the battle, Celestine's reinforcements arrived at the gates of Feoh and were now transporting the injured and broken to Ken as to be treated. The Rangers also made their way back to Ken so that they can report the battle to her holiness. Of course when Michal told his part of the story, all the way to the megazord fight, let's just say…she may have gotten a bit paler.
"My…that is…wow" Celestine replied, laying her chin in her hands
Celestine and all the other members of the Alliance, beside from Alicia and Prim were floored by the fact that these rangers had giant metal beings that they can call upon for assistance.
"Well…this is something" Olga added who was equally surprised
The Rangers couldn't help but smirk at their reactions at the concept of a zord. Luckily Celestine regained her bearings and addressed the four Rangers after taking a deep breath.
"Once again, I thank you four for your service, even more so now than ever" she said
"Like we said your holiness, we are happy to help no matter what" Eric replied as the others nodded
With a smile on her face Celestine rose from her seat as to dismiss the meeting.
"Now I'm sure everyone is tired and wish's to get some sleep, so rest up everyone and be prepared for this war is far from over" Celestine said
"Yes your holiness" everyone said as they exited the room
Everyone then made their way to their rooms for the night, ready to get a good night's sleep, but for a certain Ranger well…just wait and see.
Michal quickly said good night to his friends as he stepped into his room. Once he closed the door and turned around, he was surprised to find Alicia of all people in his room and was inspecting one of Michal's fossil ornaments. She had ditched her armor and was now wearing a royal blue sleeping robe and her hair was let out.
"Your majesty, what brings you here?" Michal asked as the young princess turned to the Ranger
"I came by to see you actually, but to just to let you know when we are in private you can call me by my name" Alicia said with a smile
Seeing it made Michal slightly blush as he rubbed the back of head in embarrassment.
"Uh, sure I guess" Michal replied
With a cute giggle, Alicia then turned back to the fossil head on the wall, as she traced her fingers along the t-rex's snout.
"I'm guess this creature hails from your land, where ever that is" Alicia said as Michal walked up beside her
"Indeed, its goes by the name Tyrannosaurus Rex or T-Rex for short" Michal said making Alicia giggle
"Such a name" she said making Michal laugh as well
"Yeah, it is" Michal said
Michal then looked at the princess only to see her slightly blushing.
"You didn't want to talk about the fossil did you?" Michal asked as she nodded
"Yes, can we sit down?" She asked as Michal nodded
The two then sat down on Michal's bed as Alicia took a long deep breath and looked at Michal straight in the eye.
"There are two reasons I came to speak with you today, one, I wanted to thank you for saving me and Prim" she said as Michal smiled
"Your welcome, but really it was my pleasure to help, like always" Michal replied making Alicia sigh
"And yet again you are some humble, that's one of these I like about you" Alicia said surprising him
"Excuse me?" Michal said
Alicia then stood up from the bed and walked in front of Michal, much to the Rangers confusion. He tried to stand up as well but Alicia held him down with a hand on his shoulder, which Michal agreed to.
"This brings us to the other reason I wanted to see you" Alicia said, now sporting a very deep blush on her cheeks.
"Okay…and that is?" Michal asked
Alicia then untied the front of her robe causing it to loosen as it showed a bit of her skin as it slowly drooped off her shoulders.
"I want to reward you." She said in a very low voice

AU: Sorry, but before this starts let me just say a few things. One, this is the first time I have written one of these scenes before so please don't hate me if it's bad. Second, if you haven't figured it out yet I don't swear, in real life or in my stories even if it's M-rated, so I won't be dropping F-bombs and such during this.
Alicia then shrugged off the robe with a roll of her shoulders, causing the robe to fall to the ground. Michal's mouth then hanged open at the sight before him. Alicia stood before him in a royal blue bra and panties, the fabric was slightly thin and almost see through.
"Alicia! What are doing?!" Michal shouted
Alicia then approached Michal slowly causing Michal to back up slightly until his back hit the wall. With nowhere to go Alicia then straddled his waist as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Please my brave Ranger, accept me~~" she said as she leaned in
Before Michal knew it Alicia had pressed her lips to his, surprising him. Just with that one touch, he could already feel the softness of her lips, causing him to melt right into the kiss.
'I shouldn't be doing this, she's a princess…but yet why does feel so good' Michal thought as he wrapped his arms around her
He then traced his fingers up and down Alicia's back, feeling the smoothness of her skin; bring him pleasure as he touched her. Suddenly he then felt Alicia snake her tongue into his mouth, surprising him but soon joined in as he's tongue wrestled with hers. Alicia then unwrapped her arms from around Michal's neck and slowly made her way down to he's shirt. Slowly she unbuttoned it, revealing bits of his chest to her, once the last button was unlatched she moved back from his lips and slowly removed Michal's shirt to reveal a very toned body to her.
