Chapter 10
Omega on the Case
Alex Copper was a lot of things, he was patient, smart and well mannered…but he crossed the line when it came to cities filled with crime and scum. Alex was riding his bike but had stopped on a hill to overlook his destination, Ansur the kingdom of Maia. Alex read up on the city before coming and boy was it bad, the whole city was a cesspool of the worst criminal elements all festering within those city walls. As the son of a cop, Alex couldn't help but be disgusted by this city and wanted nothing but to burn it to the ground, but he was here for a reason.
(Flashback)
Alex was summoned by one of the noble families of Ken for an emergency. Alex now stood before the house of Pantielle while wearing his Ranger suit; he thought it might help establish a feeling of authority. So with a simply knock on the door, it then opened to reveal an old butler which bowed to him.
"Greetings Omega Ranger, the master has been expecting you" he said as held the door for him
Alex then nodded to the butler as he stepped into the house. The butler led Alex through the halls of the mansion until stopping at one door.
"The master will be inside" he said gesturing to the door
"Thank you, I'll take it from here" Alex replied
With a bow the butler then left as Alex knocked on the door.
"You may enter" a voice said
Alex then opened the door to find a somewhat old man with very fine attire. This was Michael Pantielle, the head of the Pantielle family and father to Michelle Pantielle. Once Omega stepped into the room he was then asked to sit down, once he did they then got to business.
"Thank you for meeting with me today Omega Ranger" Michael said
"Of course sir, what seems to be the problem?" Alex asked as the man sighed
"It's my son…he's…gone" Michael said, confusing Alex
"Gone? How do you mean gone?" Alex asked
"Well you see, last night some people saw a hooded figure riding away from Ken" Michael said
"And you sure this was Michelle?" Alex asked as the noble nodded
"I'm afraid so because when that man left, our family sword was taken as well" Michael said
"I see so any idea where he went sir?" Alex asked
"Yes actually, I bet he went to Ansur" he said
"Why? What's in Ansur?" Alex asked making the man grimace
"The home of his obsession" Michael said
Alex was confused by this at first until his face morphed to realization behind his helmet.
"Oh" Alex said
(Flashback end)
So here he was, about to enter one of the worst cities to ever be constructed, all to find a spoiled brat who can't take a hint.
"Okay…let's get this over with" Alex said as he pulled back on the throttle on his bike and speed ahead.

Back in Ken, Eric and the other Rangers were supervising the training camps for new soldiers. Celestine thought it was good idea to have someone with a heroic reputation to inspire the troops to train harder.
"Good work everyone, keep it up!" Eric shouted into the crowd
"Sir Yes sir!" the troops shouted in unison
Eric couldn't help but smile at the scene, he didn't know why but being looked upon as a sign of inspiration just felt so good.
"You're really getting into this?" Michal said with a smile
"Yeah, maybe it's just the leader in me" Eric replied with a blush
"Well either way, this batch of soldiers looks ready to go to me" Kelvin said, looking over the trainees
"I won't be too sure" a voice said
Turning to it they saw it was Alicia, garbed in her warrior attire.
"Your majesty" the rangers said bowing
"At ease friends, I'm here on unofficially business" she said, taking a quick look at Michal, "Michal, what did we talk about?" she said making said boy chuckle
"Sorry Alicia, force of habit" Michal said, straightening his posture
Kelvin and Eric then looked in surprise at Michal, hearing him use Alicia's first name so causally.
"So anyway, I wanted to come by to ask if you'll come with me to the blacksmith later this afternoon?" Alicia asked as Michal nodded
"Yeah sure, I could use some time off" Michal replied making Alicia hug him which he returned
"Great, I'll see you soon then" Alicia said as she turned to leave, but not without planting a quick kiss of Michal's cheek.
Alicia then left while Michal had a goofy smile on his face. Though when he turned back to his friends he found them looking at him with looks of shock with their mouths hanging open.
"What?" Michal asked
The two Rangers were silent for sometimes until Kelvin shook off his shock and looked at Michal dead in the eye.
"Dude, what was that?" he asked
Michal then rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment as a blush formed on his cheeks.
"Yeah…um…me and Alicia are…dating now" Michal said making the two go wide eyed
"WHAT?!" they shouted
"Oh come on guys, it's not that big a deal" Michal replied as Eric pinched the bridge of his nose
"Dude, you are literally dating one of the princesses of the Alliance right now, how is that not a big deal" Eric said trying to keep his composer
"No joke, the only way you could make this worse is if you had sex with her" Kelvin said with a chuckle
Though with a deeper blush on Michal's cheeks was the only answer the two Rangers needed.
"You've got to be kidding" Eric said in disbelief
"Well…technically…she kind of asked me" Michal added
Eric and Kelvin then took a deep breath, trying to calm themselves after the info bomb that was dumped on them.
"Okay…I guess this is okay" Eric said making Michal let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, "Just…promise us you treat her good, we don't want a repeat of the anime" he said making Michal nod
"Of course, you have my word" Michal said as Eric sighed in relief
"I don't think we'll have to worry about that, I mean come on, it's not like we're going to get laid by a different princess after we save them and then end up a couple right, I mean come one that kind of stuff happens in fanfictions and stuff" Kelvin said with a chuckle
Michal and Eric then looked at their friend in confusion, until shrugging it off and turning back to the training camp.

In the city of Ansur a small bar could be seen, with a hanging sign that read The Full Barrel. Now there were many bars and taverns in Ansur, but out of all of them this one was the most decent out of the bunch. The place was a hot spot for old war heroes and high ranking mercenaries; it also was a place where people can get delicate information about things and people. Alex then walked into the bar, causing the place to quiet down and stare at the new arrival. Alex the proceeded to walk over to the counter and sit down, seeing he was no harm everyone went back to doing their business as the bartender walked up Alex.
"Aren't you little young to be in a bar kid?" he asked
"I'm old enough" Alex replied, making the bartender shrug
"So what can get you?" he asked
"Anything that isn't alcoholic please" Alex replied making the man raise an eyebrow
"So…water then?" the man said making Alex sigh
"Yeah, sure why not" Alex replied as the man fetched a glass
"So, what brings you all the way to Ansur of all places?" the bartender asked
"I'm looking for someone" Alex replied making the man chuckle
"Really now? Like a childhood sweetheart gone badly or some ungrateful piece of work that needs to be put down?" The man asked
"I'm looking for someone of…noble class" Alex said making the man go ridged
He was silent for a good long while until turning to Alex and setting his glass down in front of him.
"Sorry, you won't find a noble here in this city" he said
Alex then moved his arm slightly, flashing his Morpher to the man making him go wide eyed. Even though the Rangers weren't here very long, there reputation had grown quite a lot in the short span especially during the Feoh liberation.
"Alright kid listen, I don't know much but I did see some spiffy looking brat ride into Ansur a couple of days ago, and kept demanding to see Maia" the bartender making Alex sigh
"Yep, that sounds like Michelle alright" Alex said with shake of his head, "any idea where he is now?" Alex asked making the man shake his head.
"Afraid not, he took off in huff and no one has seen him since then" the bartender said
Alex then groaned as he took a sip of his water, thinking he might have hit a dead end.
"But there is one place you can go" the bartender said raising Alex's hopes
"Really? Where?" Alex asked, causing the man to look nervous
"Before I tell you, I have to let you know this will be dangerous" the man said as Alex nodded
"I understand, but don't worry I can handle it" Alex said making the man sigh
"Okay…you need to find one of the crime families that run the underground here in this city, if anyone knows where a noble would be it would be them" the man said making Alex frown
Alex had heard about the crime families in Ansur, Celestine and Maia have been trying to get rid of them for years but with no luck at all. He hated to encounter those despicable people but the bartender was right, if anyone in Ansur knew anything about Michelle's location it was them.
"Alright then, thanks" Alex said as the bartender walked away
Alex then proceeded to drink the rest of water until he heard a long bang from the doors of bar and whole lot laughter and hollering. Turning around Alex say it was small group of Black Dogs; all of them looked drunk out of their minds. Alex did research that this city was a hotspot for Black Dog recruitment drives so they tend to come here a lot, but not many came due to Maia's rule over the city.
"Hey big man! Set a few rounds up, we partying tonight!" the lead man said making the rest bellow in excitement.
The group then walked over the counter intending to sit down until one of them stopped by Alex with a frown.
"Hey kid, you're in my seat" he said with a growl
"I didn't see your name on it" Alex replied
The man then grabbed Alex by the collar of his uniform and turned him around to look at him.
"What was that you punk!?" the man shouted in his face, while Alex looked at him with dull expression
The man saw something gleam in the corner of his vision, making him look down at Alex's arm. Once he saw his Morpher, the man then dropped him and backed away from Alex as said Ranger brushed himself off. The other dogs then backed away from Alex with ounces of fear on their faces.
"Okay let's get something straight you have two options here" Alex said as raised two fingers up, "One, you can go away and don't get you're butts kicked or two, you can fight me and end up having a … very bad day" Alex said
Everyone then drew their swords causing Alex to sigh and to shake his head.
"Why do they always pick option two" Alex said as raised the throttle on his morpher and twisted the handle until slamming it back into place.
"SPD, Emergency!"

At a local village near Ken, Eric and Kelvin were sent to eliminate a raid squad that planned to attack the village and along with them was Olga herself. She said she wanted to come with them because she wanted to "stretch her legs" but really she just wanted hang around Eric, though it was a good thing that the dark elf queen came with them because thanks to her magical power, the raid squad was finished off easily leaving nothing but a field of monster bodies.
"My, it's been a long time since I did something like that" Olga said looking over the battlefield
"I can tell, just remind me not get your bad side" Eric said making Olga chuckle
"Oh Eric, you can never be on my bad side~~~" she said in a seductive tone
Eric blushed under his helmet as looked away from the dark elf. Eric then turned his focus elsewhere, toward the direction of Ansur. Olga noticed this and walked up beside him, and even though wore his helmet she could sense he was worried.
"Thinking about Alex?" Olga asked making Eric nod
"Yeah" Eric simply replied, still looking out
Olga then let out a sigh at Eric's distant behavior. It was no secret that the dark elf queen had feelings for the young Ranger but Eric has always been an all business person with a small playful side that hardly ever comes out. Olga always wanted to see that side of his more often, but with him being a leader it made sense why, though that didn't stop her from the occasional flirt. Olga then hugged Eric from the back, causing her breasts to be pushed up against his back, making him blush again.
"Don't worry too much Eric, Alex is just as good a fighter as the rest of you" Olga said making Eric sigh
"I know it's just…those three mean so much to me" Eric said quietly
Olga then looked at Eric with concern at hearing the drop in tone in his voice.
"Eric? Are you okay?" Olga asked, now very concerned for him
"Yeah I'm fine…who am I kidding I'm not alright" Eric said surprising Olga
Olga has never seen this side of Eric causing her to let go of him.
"What do mean?" Olga asked
But Eric just remained silent as he looked over the horizon. Olga then looked down at Eric's open hand by his side, making her reach out slowly to grab hold of it, only for Eric to walk away from her to the village. Olga watched Eric leave with a look of concern and longing, she knew heartbreak when she sees it and Eric's heart wasn't just broken, it was shattered and was barley being held together.

Back in Ansur, Alex was driving down the streets while in is Ranger suit. He was now searching for one of the crime families that run Ansur and he hopefully had a possible lead.
"I would be there quicker if weren't for those Dogs" Alex said to himself
It was true, Alex beat the group of Black Dogs easily with martial arts and since he didn't want to get the bar dirty with blood, he decided to do the next best thing, imprisonment SPD style. Basically Alex used his Omega Morpher to turn the goons into contentment cards and transported them to a secure vault in his room back in Ken.
"Defiantly is less clean up" Alex said
He then saw his destination up ahead, causing him to squeak the brakes on his cycle causing it to come to a screeching halt. In front of him was a large mansion colored an ugly green color that made it stand out among the many houses and buildings in Ansur.
"Alright, if my Intel is right, then this where Mundus Family should be" Alex said
The Mundus families were well knew supporters of the Black Dogs and the Sex Empire so if anyone knew about Michele it would be them. So without further delay Alex then dismounted from his bike and walked up to the mansion doors. Up ahead he could see a pair of guards at the front of the mansion, both garbed in a light set of armor. Once they saw Alex approaching them then raised there spears to the Ranger making him stop in his tracks.
"State your propose stranger" one the guards said
"I'm Omega Ranger; I've come to speak with the head of Mundus family" Alex said
The guards then looked at each other until they started to laugh making Alex sigh.
"I'm guessing you're not going to let me through are you?" Alex asked, but the guards just laughed
Seeing he was not getting in the easy way, that meant he had to do this the hard way. Alex the grabbed the handle of his Morpher and started to twist as he's hand was charged with orange energy.
"Omega Morpher, Blast Mode"
Once his hand was charged up, Alex then slammed his palm onto the ground causing a huge explosion that sent the guards and the doors of the mansion flying, once the dust settled the guards were on the ground groaning. Once the guards were dealt with, Alex then approached the now opened door while the guards tried to get up.
"Don't get up for me, I'll just show myself in" Alex said as he walked in
Once he entered he was greeted with a large group of guards, all with swords and spears.
"All for me, I feel so special" Alex said as he took up a fighting stance
The guards then charged, all while Alex stood his ground. One guard then tried to slash at with a sword, only for Alex to grab it and tore it out the man's hand sent a kick to his chest, causing him to tumble over. Another one thrusted a spear at Alex but Omega defected with a back hand and grabbed the spear and hoisted the man in the air and flung him at group of guards, causing them all to fall over. Two men with daggers rushed at him but Omega then jumped into the air and hit them with a split kick. He then grabbed another man's wrist and flipped him around making him land on his back with a thud. Omega then saw another group coming at him with other weapons.
"Sorry, but I'm pressed for time" Alex said
He then raised the throttle on his morpher and started to twist it as he charged up this time with blue energy.
"Omega Morpher, Hyper Mode"
Alex the slammed the handle back, causing the world around him to slow down as he sent out a flurry of punches at rapid speed. Once the effect was over, all that was left was just a pile of unconscious bodies. Quickly Alex then pointed his morpher at the group and with one press of a button, a white light came out causing the bodies to light up and glow. Once the glow faded the bodies were gone and in their place were a pile of white bordered cards with the SPD insignia on them.
"Well that takes care of that" Alex said
He then snapped his fingers, causing the cards to vanish. The cards were sent Alex's vault where the criminals of Eostia were held and luck thing for him he got permission from Celestine to do this.
"Now, where to next."

In the study area of the Mansion, Salazar Mundus was busy writing done the last of his shipping orders for a fresh batch of weapons to the Black Dogs. He didn't really care what the Dogs did just as long as they kept their distance from him, and then they had an agreement.
"And that is the last one, finally" he said sitting back in his chair
Suddenly, Salazar heard the sound of fighting coming from outside his study, causing him to sweat in fear. Now he was no stranger to being attacked but his special guards would take care of them easily, but with news of these Power Rangers running around he thought it was good idea to double his protection. Suddenly the sounds of fighting stopped causing him to relax, only for his door to explode off its hinges and slammed into the wall behind him. Looking at the door in fear he then turned his head to the open door way with a look of utter terror. He then heard footsteps until Omega Ranger stepped into the room.
"Wwho are you?" Salazar said, trying to keep his cool in this situation
"Omega Ranger, third member of the White Hope" Alex said to the man
Salazar's eyes then widen in shock at this as he back up to wall in fear.
"You're…you're one of those…Rangers" Salazar stammered out
Alex then chuckled at the man's antics as he shook his head in amusement.
"Guess our reputation precedes us" Alex said
Salazar then straightened himself as stared down the Ranger in question.
"What, do you want?" He asked
"Nothing much, I just want to know where Michelle Pantielle is right now" Alex said
"The noble brat, why do want to know about him?" Salazar asked
"I've been assigned to take him in for possibly treason to the Alliance and to retrieve the family sword from him as well" Omega answered
Salazar then straightened up his attire as he looked at Omega with a serious expression.
"If I tell you where he is, you promise to leave?" Salazar said as Omega nodded
"Of course" Alex replied, making Salazar let out sigh of relief
"Good, now as for where the brat is I don't know, he showed up in town saying "he'll have what he desires soon enough" and that he up and vanished" Salazar said making Alex nod
"I see and that's all you know?" Alex asked as Salazar nodded, "Very well, I'll leave as promised" Alex said turning on his heel.
He then walked to the doorway as Salazar sat back down in his chair to relax, which is until Alex stopped.
"Oh yeah, there is one more thing" Alex said making the man stiffen
Alex then quickly turned around and pointed his morpher at the man, making him fall out of his chair.
"You're under arrest" Alex said
He then pressed a button on his Morpher causing a bright flash and once it was gone, Salazar was trapped within a Contentment Card. Alex then walked over to the card and picked it up as he saw the man pound against the card's window with shouts and curses.
"Have fun in your cell" Alex said the card teleported away
Alex then let out an annoyed huff as he leaned against the wall of the mansion.
"Same old thing, Michelle shows up to town and then disappears" Alex said as rested his chin on his hand, "It's obvious he wants Maia, little brat can't take a hint, but how she's a highly trained warrior with loyal people behind her who are equally skilled" Alex said as he tried to connect the dots.
"So how is going pull something like this off?" Alex said
Suddenly a huge explosion could be heard, causing the mansion to rock and people to scream outside.
"What the heck was that?" Alex said rushing to the window
Alex then pulled the curtains back and let a groan at the sight before him.
"Oh…that's how" Alex said as looked at the streets below.
The Black Dogs have invaded Ansur and at the front of the pack was Michele himself, holding the family sword high over his head.
