I'm back and here's another oneshot about the young brothers and their awesome bond.

I'll Protect You Too

It's been normal days for the Heeler family especially the 3 young brothers. However Bandit has recently learned that some nights Stripe would feel scared when he's trying to sleep and he would go to sleep in their older brother Rad's bed so he feels safe. At first Bandit didn't care but he then started to feel sad that his little brother wouldn't come to his bed whenever he's scared because as his other older brother, he wants Stripe to rely on him to protect him whenever he's scared too. He worries that Stripe doesn't think he's able to protect him and so Bandit finally decides to talk to him and ask him why he doesn't come to him whenever he's scared.

Bandit: Hey Stripe, I wanted to ask you something.

Stripe: You did? What's going on?

Bandit: I was wondering, why don't you ever come to my bed at night whenever you feel afraid?

Stripe: Oh well I thought you wouldn't want me to sleep in your bed with you but I know Rad lets me so I go sleep in his bed with him.

Bandit: Oh is that it?

Stripe: Ya why?

Bandit: It's nothing.

Stripe: Wait, are you jealous?

Bandit: No *trying to hide his feelings*

Stripe: Oh you are! Hey Rad come here!

Bandit: Stripe, come on!

Rad: What's happening little bros?

Stripe: Bandit is jealous that I come to sleep in your bed at night and not his.

Rad: Oh is that so?

Bandit: I'm not jealous.

Stripe: What else would it be?

Bandit: Ok listen, the thing is at first I didn't care but it would be happening often and it got me thinking that I was worried that Stripe doesn't think I'm able to protect him whenever he's sad or scared. The truth is Stripe is that I want you to know that I will always be there for you whenever you're sad and protect you whenever you're scared. I know Rad is the oldest and I rely on him to be there for me too but as your other big brother I want you to rely on me to be there for you too. *tears up a little* I love you Stripe and I don't like seeing you sad or afraid and I wanna be a good big brother and make you feel better.

This makes Stripe feel so happy that he even starts to tear up.

Stripe: *hugs Bandit* Thank you Bandit. That really means a lot to me. I love you too and I know you will always protect me. If you let me I will come to your bed too whenever I feel afraid.

Rad: *wraps arm around Bandit* You're an amazing big brother Bandit. You really make me proud.

Bandit: Thanks mates.

Rad: You know what? I have an idea.

That night, as the brothers go to bed, all 3 of them get into Stripe's bed together with him in the middle and his 2 big brothers by his sides, assuring him that they are always there to protect him and make him feel safe and happy.

Rad: How do you feel Stripe?

Stripe: I feel very good. Thanks for helping me feel better and protecting me. You are the best brothers ever and I love you both so much.

Bandit: We love you too Stripe. Heeler brothers for life.

Unison: *fist bump* Let's go Heeler bros.

And they drift off to sleep. Chris and Bob both watch them from outside their room.

Bob: My little furballs. I swear it melts seeing those 2 pups protect their little brother.

Chris: I couldn't agree more honey. We made them, and we've undeniably done an amazing job raising them.
