Episode 2: There's more to it
(Morning)
(Tv static)
Show Amanda stirs awake to the sound of her phone, and she could only wonder: 'Who in the fuck could be calling me?' She looks at the phone and sees that it's her PA. So, she answers the call to see what he has to say.
(On the phone)
Show Amanda: Hello?
Justin: Amanda, it's me
Show Amanda: I am fully aware of that; now why did you call me?
Justin: Well, an interviewer by the name of: Sylvie, just called and asked if you would like to do an interview.
Show Amanda: At what time?
Justin: 8:00
Amanda looks at the clock on her phone, and she sees that it's already 7:00.
Show Amanda: Ok, I'll be there.
Justin: Alright, bye.
(Call ended)
With that done, Amanda went to go get ready for her interview.
(Time skip)
After Amanda got done taking her shower, brushing her teeth, and brushing her hair, she started to pick out what she was going to wear. She walked in her closet and started to look around, until eventually she picked out a red 3-piece suit, alone with some black loafers.
She then walked out of her house went inside the limo that herself and Justin will be riding in.
(Time skip)
They finally made it to the building where Amanda is going to be interviewed. They both walked inside the building, took a right to the elevator, and pushed the button for the 100th floor. Once the doors opened, amanda was immediately greeted by a hand that was ready to be shaken.
Sylvie: "Hi my name is sylvie, and you must be Amanda. It's an honor and pleasure to meet you."
They both shake hands
Amanda: "Yes, from what I've been told, you want to interview me."
Sylvie: "You heard right. I wanted to interview you because your show has an incredibly large audience, and I thought that those numbers were simply astonishing."
Amanda: "Thanks."
Sylvie: "Now, shall we get started?"
Amanda: "Yep."
And with that, they head to the interview room to get started. Although, amanda has never done a interview before, so this could go either way.
(In the interview room)
When they both sat down, sylvi had her phone ready so that amanda's voice can be recorded.
Interview: 1
Person being interviewed: Amanda
Name of interviewer: Sylvie
(Now recording)
Sylvie: So, how are you doing today, Amanda?
Amanda: I'm doing fine.
Sylvie: So, how did your show shock the nation?
Amanda: Well, I think it shocked the nation because the show is unedited, it's not prerecorded, it's uncensored, and it has a lot of real-life humor. It also has a lot to do with just the aspect of real life.
Sylvie: Do you think people would think that you need to be filtered instead of unfiltered.
Amanda: I mean, it's their opinion and I think 100 percent their going to have that opinion because, the things that I say may not be what they want to hear, and that's fine. Some people may not like what I'm saying now, but I don't fucking care.
Sylvie: Do you care about cancel culture?
Amanda: No
Sylvie: And why is that?
Amanda: Because at the end of the day, when a person cancels you, they think they've canceled what you've built and you as a person. You are only one person, and you have one thing that you've created. They can only cancel you and all you've worked for in their world, not the real world. But of course, it sometimes doesn't end that way.
Sylvie: Well, there is the possibility that somebody may have heard of that person getting canceled, and they believe the rumor or the truth, and they immediately cut you off in the real world. That can have a real negative impact on that person.
Amanda: I'm just going to say this: Some people are fucked up. The reason I say that is because, some of them are stubborn and they only choose to believe the rumors instead of the facts. And some of the facts are just what they don't want to hear so, they turn to the rumors. So, cancel culture is really fucked up.
Sylvie: The reason I asked you about cancel culture is because, people that have shows, podcasts, social media, and youtube channels, face it sometimes.
Amanda: Oh, okay. That's understandable.
Sylvie: So, the last question that I have for you is: How did you create the show
Now that's a funny question.
Amanda: I created the show with my creative ideas and my ambition. And some would even say, Happiness. Without those two things, it wouldn't even be a show.
(End recording)
(Time skip)
After Amanda was done. Sylvie thanked amanda for doing the interview, and they shook hands for the final time. Amanda and justin headed back to the limo, and she rode back home. Justin on the other hand, went back to his house.
(At her house)
Amanda took off all her cloths and slipped into her night wear, which consisted of shorts and an oversized t-shirt. She then brushed her teeth, then got into bed.
Show Amanda: "Today was a lot, but now that it's over, I get to go to sleep. I hope Justin got back home safely."
And with that, she concluded the night by falling asleep to the question: Why was that interview so short.
