Thomas wakes up a few hours later after his anxiety attack at 5am. Alfie and Jaxson sleep next to him like usual snuggled up warm under the blanket. He smiles and kisses them both on the snoot as he sits up. It had been a few weeks since him, his husband and son moved back to la after living In San Diego.
He yawned and stretched
After brushing his teeth he quietly headed downstairs and began brewing coffee. He got himself a mug and stepped outside and basked in the warm summer morning air. As his porch overlooked the la skyline. He saw Bluey and everyone else's houses lining the streets and neighborhood.
"I remember when this neighborhood was small. It's become it's own town at this point! Time flies." Thomas said to himself with a chuckle
He heard the pitter patter of little pup feet heading his way as an awake jaxson hugged his dad
"what are ya doin up so early mate?" Thomas asked with a chuckle
"I don't know I just wanted to!" Jaxson said with a giggle and yawn whine
"Daddy dingo is still snoring eh?" Thomas asked as he lifted his 8 year old held him as they both watch the sun rise more and more and the city come to life
Daddy dingo is a cute nickname Jaxson gave to Alfie when Jax was a toddler! (If you have a dirty mind there's no point, this is ab not a smut fic...)
"Yeah! Anyway! Are we still going out with grandma and papa today?" Jaxson asked
"yep! We're going to the mall! Everyone is coming back! Pops, nana, Hunter, Loki, aunt Bingo and aunt Bluey are coming too, oh and Jack and jean luc too of course! we have a big family..." Said Thomas with a chuckle
"we sure do!" Said Jaxson happily thinking of all his family members and friends
Thomas kissed his son on the snoot as they headed inside
Soon Alfie woke up and headed downstairs as Thomas sat on the couch watching the news as Jaxson laid on his lap, Thomas scratching his belly
"Good morning boys..." said Alfie barley waking up as he began getting some coffee
"Good morning babe!" Said Thomas as Alfie got some coffee and sat next to them
Thomas kissed Alfie
"Morning daddy!" Said Jaxson
"Morning buddy!" Said Alfie petting his son on the head
Jaxson smiled with satisfaction causing a little
BLEP!*
Thomas and Alfie giggled, Alfie booping Jaxson's little tongue causing it to suck back in with a cute little slurp
"Gotta love a good morning pup blep!" Said Thomas with a chuckle
"We still goin' out with everyone today?" Alfie asked taking a sip of his coffee
"Yep! The mall!" Said Thomas snuggling his pup
"Alrighty sounds good! What time?" said Alfie so he could get started on breakfast
"Hmm... I'd say around 12!" Said Thomas checking his watch
"Alrighty!" Said Alfie getting up to work on breakfast
After brekkie they all got ready to go
After he got out of the shower Thomas dried off and combed the hair by his pointy ears and put some pomade on
"Looking dapper pops!" Said Jaxson with a chuckle
"Thanks kid!" Said Thomas Kissing his son on the forehead
Alfie was done getting read as well getting his bag
"Almost ready hun?" Alfie asked
"Yeah! Just a few more secs... and there we go!" Said Thomas finishing his hair up
"Ooo! You look good!" Said Alfie kissing Thomas
They got their stuff together
Chili then texted Thomas
Chili; hey sweetpea! We're on the way to the mall already! We're gonna go through the main entrance!
Thomas: alrighty ma! We'll be there soon!
Chili; oh! And we have someone coming for a surprise visit!
Thomas; ooo sounds nice! Can't wait! Love you mum!
Chili; luv ya too hun!
Thomas put his phone away as they left and locked up the house as they got into Thomas' Ford F-150
"It's already super hot out here!" Said Alfie turning the ac on
"I know right! All this fur doesn't help!"'said Thomas already sweating but stopping once the cold air hit them from the ac
As they began driving there, Thomas being the main driver, they talked
"How does it feel to almost be 7 buddy?" Thomas asked Jaxson
"I'm excited!" Said Jaxson
Though Jaxson was only 6. He was very smart and knew big words such as "dapper" and more other big and more old timey slang
"We are too! You're growing up so fast!" Said Alfie wrapping his arm around Jaxson Both of them being passengers and wearing their seatbelts
Jaxson smiles and nuzzles his dad's muzzle
Thomas smiles as they get closer to the mall
"Let's get some music playing!" Said Thomas excitedly
"Ok! Nothing too heavy!" Said Alfie cuz Thomas was a metal head and rap fan and had a habit of blasting slipknot or other loud vulgar music!
"Alrighty... hehe" said Thomas mischievously As he put on a song
"You are now about to witness the strength of street knowledge"
"Oh my..." Alfie said before being cut off By the song
"STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON! CRAZY MUTHAF*CKA NAMED ICE CUBE!"
Thomas blasted it the bass rumbling the car
Jaxson and Thomas smiled and enjoyed the music while Alfie just chuckled and enjoyed the ride
Thomas turned it down a tad bit so they would still be able to hear by the time they got there
An Lapd cruiser pulled up next to them at the stoplight Thomas turned to face him
It was a dog with brown fur and a long snout! It was Officer Ruly!
(Ruly is the dog and oc of RedWrld999! An absolutely talented and awesome person! And one of my best friends! Check out his edits on Instagram! Ruly is gonna be a regularly appearing character in this story and others! )
Thomas smiled and rolled down his window
Ruly smiled bobbing his head to the song as well both of them loving rap and other music
"Sup ruly!" Said Thomas
"Nothing much bro! Just got on duty about a half hour ago!" Said Ruly
"Hi Mr scout!" Said Jaxson
Mr Scout was the name neighborhood kids gave to Ruly. He was a rookie but was quickly gaining popularity in the Mayberry community and surrounding communities for his kindness, talent and other things!
"Sup little bro!" Said Ruly smiling happily at the pup
"Hope your having a good day!" Said Alfie respectfully
"You too Alfie! Welp! There goes the light! You guys be safe! Give us a call if you need us! See ya around!" Said Ruly
"Alrighty mate! You too!" Said Thomas as they waved bye to each other both of them going down different streets
They then got to the mall
They parked next to the families cars when they found them by the main entrance in the parking lot
They then entered
"Ahh! It's nice and cool in here!" Said Alfie as they entered
"Thankfully! It's getting hotter and hotter out here!" Said Thomas
Alfie scooped jaxson up and carried him. Jaxson was a pretty light pup and wasn't as much of a

as his 2 cousins Loki and Hunter!
They then found the family in the food court
"Hey mates!" Said Bandit hugging his family
"Hey pops!" Said Alfie
"Hi grandad!" Said Jaxson
"How are ya dad?" Thomas asked as bandit hugged all 3 of them
"We're good mate! Your mum is right over there looking at shoes with... someone..." said Bandit rather ominously but smiling
Thomas could tell his dad was hiding something
"...hmmm... Alrighty. Where's Bluey and bingo?" Thomas asked
"Ordering some food!" Said Bandit
"Oh alrighty then!" Said Thomas
"Hi Uncle Tom!" Said Hunter hugging Thomas, Alfie and Jaxson
"Hi buddy!" said Thomas as they all hugged
Loki came up behind bandit in his wheelchair and giggled
"What are ya doing Loki?" Said Jack with a chuckle as him and jean got up to hug Thomas, Alfie, And Jaxson
"I'm observing papa's back spots!" Said Loki lookin up at bandit
Bandit chuckled and scooped the puppy up
"We'll then mate! I'm gonna observe this little spot right here! It seems to have 2 nostrils! Wonder if it'll do anything if I press it!" Said Bandit booping Loki's snoot
Loki and everyone giggle
Bluey and Bingo come back to the table
"Hi Thomas!" Said Bluey hugging her brother
"Hey Bluey!" Said Thomas
"Hey bro!" Said Bingo
"Hi midget!" Said Thomas
Bingo rolled her eyes and giggled hugging her brother
Thomas was around 6 feet and a few inches tall And over a decade in the marines made him a complete and utter tank!
Bingo was only around 5'6 pretty short! She barley made into the sheriff's dept. but her bravery, physical abilities and intelligence got her into the dept!
Bingo is a short little lady compared to monsters like Thomas! But she is someone you definitely don't wanna piss off! Her strength is greater than she lets on!
(Thomas isn't a Monster in personality but In size he is! )
Chili then walked out of the nearby shoe store
"Hi sweetheart!" Said Chili hugging her son
"Hey ma!" Said Thomas hugging his mom tight
"Nana!" Said Jaxson hugging his grandma
"Awww hey!" Said Chili kissing her grandson on the head
"How are you today Chili?" Alfie asked
"I'm fine Aflie! I absolutely love your bag!" Said Chili
"Aww thanks! Thomas got it for me on our anniversary!" said Alfie
"Jeez it's been about 6 years already!" Said Jean luc
"And we're still going strong!" Said Thomas smiling at his family
"So chili. Are you ready for the surprise?" Bandit asked
"Mhm!" Said Chili excitedly
"What is this surprise? Dad was being awfully suspicious!" Said Thomas in anticipation
"Yeah nana what is it?" Jaxson asked
"Brandy!" Chili called out
"Wha..." Thomas uttered as a familiar heeler walked out of the same store
"Hi Major Tom!" Said Brandy, major Tom being a nickname she gave to him cuz she loved David Bowie
(A stories reference? Heck yea! Love David Bowie as well!)
Thomas smiled and teared up a bit and hugged her
"Oh my god... it's been so long..." said Thomas hugging his aunt, tears streaming down his eyes
Jaxson wagged his tail and barked in excitement
"How have you been baby?" Brandy asked
"I've been great! I've missed you! How's Florida?" Thomas asked
Little did Thomas know Brandy was moving to the neighborhood from Florida! She's been in Florida since 2008!
"It's been great! I've missed you all!" Said Brandy giving him a kiss to the snoot causing it to wiggle a bit
"Hi Great aunt Brandy!!" Said Jaxson as Alfie put him down so he can run up to her and hug her
Brandy gasped
"Is that wittle Jaxson?! No it can't be!" Said Brandy hugging her great nephew tight not seeing him in a year
Jaxson hugged his great aunt tight as she lifted him up
"You've gotten heavy sweetheart!" Said Brandy giving him a kiss to the cheek and nuzzling him
Jaxson giggled
"I'm gonna be 7 soon!" Said Jaxson wagging his floofy little tail
"I heard sweetheart! You're growing up really fast!" Said Brandy
"Hi Brandy!" Said Alfie
"Hi Alfie it's great to see you again!" said Brandy hugging him as well
"It's great to have everyone here!" Said Jack
"It sure is!" Said Bingo as she got up with Bluey to go grab the pizza
Then a strange looking guy starting stumbling around the mall
"Oh god..." Jean whispered to himself
Jean luc being an off duty police officer had his wallet with his lapd Id card and and badge in there. And he also had his pistol on his side, carrying it at all times his holster blending in with his fur being well hidden by his fluff
"Hope he doesn't cause any trouble..." said Bandit quietly to himself
The family soon began talking and eating
The man began walking up to random kiosks and began babbling incoherently at them
"Sir... I can't understand you?" Said A young teenage worker
"MAAAAAAAAN THIS IS THE HOOD..." the man screamed
"Uh..." Said the worker as a security guard walked up to the dude
"We've seen you yelling at random people! It's time to leave." Said the security guard
"MAAAAAAAN! U SUCC MY FURRY-" the man was cut off
"Enough sir... just make this easy for us." Said the security guard as more approached
The man was wearing a clown wig and a top hat, and he seemed to have big red shoes on. He was a chihuahua
"...mmmmm...MMMMMMM...MAAAAAAAAAAAAN! I AINT GONNA DO CRAP!" Said The crazy dude as he lunged at the security guard
"Oh my god..." said Bandit trying not to laugh
"Ahhh I missed the golden state!" Said Brandy taking a sip of soda Loki and Jaxson sitting on her lap and hunter beside her watching the show unfold
They felt bad for the guy cuz he clearly wasn't well. But it turned out he was just a drunk idiot and not mentally ill.
"Sir! Stop! We're calling the police" the security guard yelled trying to keep the guy away
After a few minutes of chasing the guy around
(Insert clown music here)
The police arrived
None other than Ruly and some other cops came to stop him
Thomas' old war buddy Verano became a cop shortly after he healed and was discharged from the army
"Yo! Come on man. Just come with us." Said Verano nicely
"...MAAAN FRICC TWELVE!" Said the man
"Ay bro look. We're being very patient with you right now. Please just chill and come talk to us." Said Ruly still being respectful
"...YA'LL SUCK! YOU STOLE MAH BURRITO!" The man exclaimed spearing (the wrestling move) Verano
"holy crap!" Said Thomas
Jean quickly got up and rushed to help them
They all knew jean so they let him
"STOP NOW!" Ruly yelled grabbing the crazy mf and pinning him to the ground
"I AM MAN OF STEEEEEEEL!" The maniac yelled grabbing Ruly's snout
Ruly panicked and socked the dude then drive stunned him with his taser
"STOP F*CKING RESISTING!" Ruly yelled pinning him to the ground as Verano and the others tried helping him put his arms behind his back
"I got cuffs bro I got cuffs!" Verano exclaimed starting to cuff the man, jean holding the man's legs
Ruly was visibly shaking but kept his composure
More officers and a few deputies arrived and took the crazy man
"... what On our lord's green earth did I just witness..." Said Bluey
"Takes me back." Said Bingo shaking her head
"YOU GOT DAT ON VIDEO?! THIS SH*T BRUTALITY!!" The man yelled one last time before he was thrusted out of the doors and shoved into a police car where he continued trying to fight them
Ruly stayed inside the mall and cooled down
"You good mate?" Thomas asked
"Y...yeah... he grabbed my snout really h..hard,.. I couldn't breathe..." said Ruly taking a drink of water
"Ay do you need the emt's to check ya out bro?" Verano asked
"Nah... I'm good... I'm good..." said Ruly taking a breath
"You did great Scout." Said Jean patting his shoulder
"Thanks..." said Ruly
"Don't worry Brandy. This isn't very common!" Said Bandit chuckling
"We just got to watch live pd!" Said Hunter as him and the pups chuckled
"Very interesting episode I'd say!" Said Alfie
"Heh... yeah... but our department would never let us on that show.." said Ruly with a chuckle
"Are you sure your ok mister scout?" Loki asked
"I'm fine little bro. Just shaken up a little, nothing I can't handle!" Said Ruly taking more breathes and calming
A supervisor showed up to get Ruly's report
"Well.. I'll see ya guys." Said Ruly
"Alrighty. Be careful boys!" Said Bandit respectfully to the officers as they walked off
Ruly smiled as he walked off
"Well... uh... Pizza's getting cold!" Said Bandit trying to change the subject
They all chuckled and ate and began going around the mall shopping
Luckily the incident with the crazy guy didn't cause it to close
They then went into GameStop cuz the pups wanted some new games and Brandy was buying everyone something
As the pups picked out games Jaxson spotted a big bowser plushie!
"Ooo!" Said Jaxson walking up to it
The pups were each able to get 2 things
"Find something else you like sweetheart?" Said Brandy
"Yeah!" Said Jaxson
"Aww how cute!" Said Brandy looking at the plushie
"You want that sweetheart?" Brandy asked
Jaxson nodded loving stuffed animals
"Thank you Great Aunt Brandy!" Said Jaxson
"No problem!" Said Brandy as they went to pay for everything
Thomas and Alfie smiled seeing Jaxson so happy
After leaving GameStop they sat back down
"There's one more big suprise!" Said Brandy excitedly
"What's that aunt Brandy?" Thomas asked
"I'm moving back to the neighborhood!"'said Brandy
"For real life?! That's awesome!"' Said Bluey Excitedly reciting her memorable childhood line. A lime Brandy hasn't heard in a long long time
"For real life sweetheart!" Said Brandy as the whole family hugged her
Someone then approached. It was Brandy's adopted son Kenny!
Kenny was in his mid 20's and was taken in by Brandy as a baby due to her being infertile. Her adopting Kenny is what really inspired Bingo to Adopt Loki
Kenny looked up to Thomas and became a marine just like him. He had just come back from his deployment to Afghanistan
"Hey gang!" Said Kenny with his fur cut super sharp. But Thomas noticed he had a cast on his arm
"Oh... my... dog..." said Thomas not seeing his cousin in a very long time due to him living in Florida with Brandy but moving with her.
"Hey cousin Hollywood!" Said Kenny excitedly wagging his tail.
He was a kelpie like Rusty and called Thomas Hollywood because Thomas went through boot camp at the marine corps recruit depot in San Diego while living on the east coast Kenny went to Parris island
Thomas hugged him carefully
"My goodness gracious it's been way too long kid!" Said Thomas
"It sure has! I've missed you!" Said Kenny hugging his cousin and then the others
Kenny's arm was shattered from an ied blast And there was a good chance he would be medically discharged due to the fact that arm would always have issues. But he did have choices to go into a non combat role
"Sorry to hear about your arm bud. I couldn't go to combat anymore after my final operation..." said Thomas starting to remember everything but snapping out of it quickly
Alfie being there with Thomas during that faithful mission patted Thomas on the shoulder
"We're so glad your both here and coming back!" Said Bingo
"And we're glad your home safe Ken!" said Bandit
"Thanks guys!" Said Kenny as he sat beside brandy
After some more talking it was starting to get late. They were there all day!
They all left the mall once they finished shopping
The air was nice and fresh when they walked out
"That's better than when we first entered!" Said Alfie
"Yep! It was so nice to go out with you all today!" Said Bluey
"Yah! We need to do more stuff like this!" Said Hunter
"I agree!" Said Bandit
"We will! I'm so glad you and Kenny are coming back to California sis! We've missed you two so much!" Said Chili as they all hugged
"We missed ya too Aunt Chili! It's really good to be back here!" Said Kenny
"I missed this crazy family and crazy city!" Said Brandy with a giggle as the sun began setting
"oh! I got 1 more thing for the pups!" Said Brandy pulling 3 onesies out of her bag
Chili, Thomas, Bandit, And Bluey looked in surprise and then abject horror once they saw Loki and Bingo's mischievous smiles! Violent memories coming back to them of bingo attacking bandit, And it seemed like she taught Loki to do the same
"...Lovely..." said Chili Gulping
Brandy giggled
"We'll see how this goes!" said Thomas with a chuckle As brandy each handed out the onesies
Hunter got a Horse
Loki got a lion
And Jaxson got a gorilla
"Welp... I'm toast.." said Hunter
They all chuckled and hugged
"Thanks for the onesies Great auntie brandy!" Said Loki
"No problem sweethearts!" Said Brandy giving the pups kisses and hugs
"So you guys got everything moved to your new house?" Bandit asked
"Yep! the movers will be here tomorrow!" Said Brandy
"We can come help as well!" Said Jack
"Yeah same here!" said Jean
"Thank you guys!" Said Brandy
Kenny is like Thomas and a pretty big dog. But his arm prevents him from lifting heavy objects and moving furniture around
After more talking everyone started getting in their cars
"It was fun seeing you all today!" Said Alfie
"Yeah it was! We need to do this more!" Said Bandit
"We'll see you guys Tomorrow!" Said Chili
"Alrighty! Love you all!" Said Thomas as the family hugged and got into their cars
Thomas let Alfie play some music
He decided to put on the one song Thomas was most annoyed by!
Foolish by Ashanti...
"See, my days are cold without you
But I'm hurting while I'm with you
And though my heart can't take no more
I keep on running back to you!"
"Oh my gooooood..." Said Thomas rolling his eyes as Jaxson giggled
Alfie and Jaxson both loved the song and sang to it
Thomas just chuckled in defeat as they headed home!
