Chapter 19-Coming together

Simon's P.O.V

Simon was sitting in his room when his radio went off. "Simon, we got a group of them," Jared says over the radio.

"Where?" Simon asks as he grabs the radio.

"By the lake with walkers in it," Jared answers.

"I'll be there with a group soon," Simon says as he stands up and walks outside of his room. He walks through the Sanctuary and looks at Jed and Arat. "Get a small group together, and meet me outside," Simon orders. They nod as he walks outside and stands by the car. When they come out, Simon climbs in the truck, and they leave the Sanctuary.

Rick's P.O.V

Everybody stood inside Deanna's house. "Okay, we have enough ammo. Now, all we need is people," Rick says.

"I'll go to the Kingdom and talk with Ezekiel," T-dog says. "I might be able to convince him to fight."

"What about Hilltop?" Laura asks. "We could kill Gregory, put Jesus in charge."

"Dwight, Glenn, Merle, and Laura. Head to Hilltop, scout out it, and wait for Jesus. Talk with him," Rick tells the four of them, who nodded.

"What about the rest? When we have the Kingdom and Hilltop, how do we attack?" Negan asks.

"We attack the Sanctuary. Go straight for it. They don't have the numbers anymore, not after everything with all of you,"

"I'll go with T-dog," Tina says. "He shouldn't go alone."

"Okay, everybody knows their plans. Let's get to work," Rick tells them. They nod as they leave.

Deanna's P.O.V

Deanna looked at Spencer as he walked into the kitchen. "Shouldn't you be in the armory helping with the guns?" Deanna asks him.

"People are going to die if we go this way," Spencer says. "If we fight the Saviors."

"Then what do you suggest, Spencer? Wait for them to come and kill us?"

"We make a deal with them," Spencer says.

"If we make a deal with them, they get half of our shit, and they are going to kill Negan, Gavin, Alden, Merle, D.J, Laura, Sherry, Tina, Dwight, and Paula," Deanna says. "They are one of us."

"They aren't! They are the reason we are in this!"

"No, they aren't! Because we would be here even if they never came, the Saviors would have found us eventually, and they would have killed one of us! They could have killed me, or you, or Rick, or Maggie," Deanna says. "This is how we ensure that as many of us as possible survive! This conversation is over! Go to the armory!" She shouts at him. Spencer glares at her before he leaves.

Daryl's P.O.V

Daryl looks at Deanna as she walks up to him. "What's wrong?" Daryl asks her as he sets the gun down on the table.

"Spencer, he thinks we should try and make a deal with the Saviors."

"Do you agree?" Daryl asks her.

"No, if we did, they would kill the saviors with us, your brother," Deanna says.

"Do you know who is on watch tonight?" Deanna asks.

"Gabriel," Daryl says. "Gabriel, and after him, Noah."

"Tell them to keep an eye on him. He makes stupid decisions in the heat of the moment," Deanna tells him.

"I'll let 'em know."

Deanna nods as she walks away.

Abraham's P.O.V

Abraham sets the guns down in front of Spencer, who takes them to the armory. "Someone pissed in his cereal," Negan says as he walks up behind the large man.

"He's a prick. I would love to break his teeth out," Abraham says as he checks another gun.

"So why don't you?" Negan asks with a smirk as he helps.

"Because he's Deanna's son," Abraham says. "I may not like him, but I like her."

"So, is this group still gonna be the least of my problems?" Negan asks, making Abraham look at him confused. "Back while we were building the wall. You said that if I brought something that could endanger the group. The group would be the least of my problems. I figured that meant you were going to kick my ass."

"I might, but they would have come for us eventually, anyways," Abraham says. "We'll get them before they get any of us."

"We will."

Glenn's P.O.V

Glenn, Dwight, Merle, and Laura stare at the Hilltop as people come in and out of it. "Where the hell is this guy?" Glenn asks.

"He'll be out soon. He doesn't stay for too long," Laura says as the gate opens and Jesus walks out. "See, come on."

They nod as they walk through the woods as Jesus walks down the trail. They wait until he is out of eyesight of the Sanctuary. "If you wanna talk, let's talk," Jesus says.

"Damn," Laura says as they exit the woods and aim their guns at the man. Jesus looks at them.

"Dwight, Laura," Jesus says as he looks at the two.

"We need to kill Gregory," Laura says to him. "Put you in charge."

"Gregory isn't in charge anymore," Jesus says. "There is someone new. You'll like her, come on," Jesus says as he leads them towards the Hilltop.

Glenn's P.O.V

The gates to the Hilltop open, and they walk in as Carol walks down towards them. "Carol," Glenn says, making the woman look at him.

"I figured you would come sooner or later," Carol says as she hugs him. "They're back?"

"Yeah," Glenn says. "You're in charge here."

"Yeah, Jesus found me after I left. I came here and made a deal with Simon. I got control of the place, and I have been training them to fight. To fight the saviors."

"We were coming here to get Hilltop on our side," Dwight says.

"We're on your side," Carol says. She looks at Glenn. "Daryl? How did he react?"

"He's doing okay. Rosita is keeping his mind off it?"

"Rosita?" Carol asks.

"My baby brother has a girlfriend," Merle says with a smirk making Carol smile.

"We'll come back in a couple of days, be ready for a fight, Carol," Glenn says as he pulls a radio out and holds it out to Carol, who takes it.

"Be safe," Carol says. Glenn nods as they leave.

T-dog's P.O.V

T-dog follows Ezekiel as he walks through the theater inside the Kingdom. "Ezekiel, you have to decide now."

"I can't," Ezekiel says.

"You have to!" T-dog shouts at him, making Richard look at them. "Okay, you don't just get to sit on that chair and wait for things to go bad! Wait for the world to punch you in the face. You have to make a choice here and now! We're going to fight! Are you with us?"

"Your majesty, they killed Jerry, and they are going to kill more of us. It could be Benjamin or Henry. It's time to fight," Richard says.

Ezekiel looks at the two men he trusts most and nods. "Alexandria has the Kingdom," Ezekiel says.

T-dog nod as he pulls out a radio and hands it to Ezekiel.

Daryl's P.O.V

Daryl looks at the gate as it opens, and Dwight, Glenn, Merle, and Laura drive in. "How'd it go?" Rick asks as he comes up beside Daryl with Deanna.

"Good," Glenn says with a smile.

"You guys kill Gregory?" Daryl asks.

"Didn't have to. There was already someone else in charge."

"Who?" Deanna asks as Glenn looks at Daryl.

"Carol," He tells Daryl.

"She's there? She's okay?" Daryl asks.

"Yeah, ask her yourself," Glenn says as he holds the radio out to Daryl, who takes it.

"Carol," Daryl says, and after a moment, she answers.

"Hi, Daryl," Carol says.

"Are you okay?" Daryl asks.

"I'm okay," Carol says. "I'm okay. You don't need to worry about me."

"Can't help it."

"Worry about getting ready to fight and your new girlfriend."

"Of course, they said something about that. We'll see you soon."

"You will."

Daryl nods as the radio goes off, and they see T-dog come in the gate. He steps out of the car and smiles at them. "We have the Kingdom."

Rick's P.O.V

Rick, Glenn, Merle, Negan, Abraham, Daryl, Maggie, Deanna, Aaron, Rosita, Merle, Noah, and Sasha stood in Deanna's house. "Why aren't the rest of them here?" Sasha asks.

"Because the others already know too much. If someone gets caught, I want to make sure they give nothing up. I know this group won't give anything up," Rick says.

"Okay," Sasha says.

"I've already radioed Carol and Ezekiel. They'll be here tomorrow with their troops, and the day after, we attack the Sanctuary. We kill Simon."

"All of them?" Noah asks, making them look at him. "We don't need to kill all of them, only Simon. We give them a chance to give up."

"I agree," Negan says.

"Okay, fine," Rick agrees.

Simon's P.O.V

The saviors stood outside with the ground of the garbage people in front of them. "Open this door, and your people won't die!" Simon shouts, and after a moment, the door opens. The saviors walk in, and they look at the leader. "Hi, I'm Simon."

"I'm Jadis," The woman says. "What do you want?"

"To save you," Simon says with a grin. "You see, I'm part of a group that saves people, and we will save you for a very simple price. Half of your shit."

"No deal," Jadis says, and Simon smiles as he withdraws his gun and shoots one of the prisoners in the back of the head. The scavengers back up and stare at them as Jadis stares at him in shock.

"It wasn't really an offer!" Simon shouts. "Half of your shit! We won't kill you!"

Jadis stares at him, and he smiles. "Light it up!" Simon shouts.

"No!" Jadis shouts as the saviors start to shoot the scavengers. After a couple of minutes, they all lay dead on the ground beside Jadis.

"We're taking her," Simon says as he motions for Gary to grab her, and they leave.

Spencer's P.O.V

Spencer walks up to the gate and Gabriel. "Gabriel," Spencer says, making him look at him. "I can take over."

"I'm good," Gabriel says.

"Mind if I join you?" Spencer asks.

"Sure," Gabriel says as Spencer climbs up the ladder.

"Nice night," Spencer says. "Sorry," He says before he hits Gabriel over the head with his gun knocking him out. He quickly climbs down and pulls the gate open, and goes to a car. He climbs in and leaves. He stops and shuts the gate before he grabs the map and looks at the location of Sanctuary, and starts to drive.

Thanks for reading. The communities are together, the scavengers are dead, and Spencer is planning on doing something stupid. Next chapter, the group prepares for the fight, and Spencer talks with Simon. As always, suggestions, ideas, and feedback are welcomed. Until next time.
