Everyone is down hanging out on the beach.
John, Virgil and Scott were lying on the sand under a tree. Gordon and Alan were working on their tans; John was sitting in a camper chair, and Scott and Virgil sat on a beach towel. The wolves were hanging out under another tree along the beach. Bridget was lying under the tree with James lying on top of him. Spikey was lying with his front paws in the sun. Snowy dug a hole near the tree. Jamien was grooming himself when he felt sand being thrown at him. Jamien turned his head to look at who was throwing sand at him. When he did, he saw that it was for Snowy. Jamien got to his feet and walked over to Virgil. Virgil was lying on the beach, and Jamien walked up and cuddled up against his right leg.
" What's wrong, Jamien" Virgil said while looking at Jamien.
Jamien sight and laid his head on Virgil's right leg and looked at him. Jamien got up, moved closer to Virgil, and sat beside him. Jamien started whining and pawing at Virgil's left hand.
" Yes, Jamien, how can I help you," Virgil said while confused at what Jamien was doing.
Jamien placed his left paw on Virgil's chest and looked straight at him. Virgil was still confused about what Jamien was trying to do. Virgil looked over a Scott, and Scott shrugged his shoulders. John stood up and walked over to a tree that had three surfboards lying up against it. John grabbed his surfboard and started heading out the waves. Jamien watched John walk down the waves and started whining. Jamien Again walked closer to Virgil and started pawing at his chest.
" Fine, Jamien, what do you want? Virgil asked while looking at Jamien.
Jamien turned his head to look at the waves and then back at Virgil.
" Jamien, later we will go surfing", Virgil said while looking at Jamien.
Jamien got up, ran down to the shore, and ran into the water. Meanwhile, both boys just watched and started laughing.
" Jamien wants to play in the water", Scott said while looking down at Jamien in the water.
Jamien started barking at the boys.
" Alright, I am coming", Virgil said while walking down to Jamien.
Jamien was jumping and splashing in the water. Virgil was wearing his swimming shorts and walked into the water where Jamien was playing. Jamien turned around to face Virgil and crouched down with the water touching his neck. Virgil could see what Jamien would do and started running down the shoreline. Jamien pounced and started running after Virgil. Virgil stopped and turned around to face Jamien. Jamien was still running when he jumped into Virgil's arms. Jamien made Virgil fall back into the water and onto the ground. On the ground, Virgil looked at Jamien and splashed Jamien. Jamien looked at Virgil and pounced on top of Virgil.
" Okay, That's surfing, Jamien", Virgil said while moving Jamien off him.
Jamien started whining and followed Virgil back up to Scott.
2 pm
Virgil was carrying his surfboard. Virgil's surfboard was light green with a black strip down the middle. Scott was still on the beach watching with Snowy and Jamien sitting next to him. Virgil walked down to the shoreline and placed his surfboard on the ground. Virgil wrapped the foot strap around his left ankle and picked up the board again. Virgil walked into the shallow end of the shoreline and then looked back at Scott. Meanwhile, with Scott, Jamien watched with his head tilted to the right.
" Jamien, are you coming? Virgil yelled out to Jamien.
Jamien started wagging his tail, and he stood up and ran down to the shoreline. Virgil turned around and saw Jamien was right behind him. Virgil placed the surfboard in the water, and Jamien climbed on it; when Jamien climbed on the board, the back end of the surfboard sunk under his weight. Jamien moved to the middle of the board, and the back of the surfboard resurfaced again. Virgil pushed the board into a whitewash, and the board went with it. Finally, the board reached the sand, and Jamien jumped off.
Jamien came running up the beach. His fur was wet, and the sand was sticking to his coat. Jamien ran past Scott and went up to Snowy. Snowy was lying in the hole she had dug in the shade. Jamien's play blew to Snowy, and she jumped to her feet and started sniffing Jamien's back. Snowy placed his right paw on Jamien's head. Jamien moved back, and Snowy's paw fell off his head. Snowy ran away, and Jamien followed behind her.
Jamien grabbed Snowy's tail, and Snowy fell on the sand. Jamien let go of her tail, and Snowy grabbed Jamien's right front leg. When Snowy grabbed Jamien's leg, he stepped back and sniffed his leg. Snowy rolled over to her back. Jamien moved closer to her and started sniffing her belly. Snowy rolled over to her belly, jumped to her feet, and ran off again. Snowy ran back to Scott and lay down behind him in the shade. Jamien walked over to John and lay beside him while Virgil was surfing.
4 pm
It got cold, and everyone went to the house. Everyone was in the kitchen. Grandma Tracy brought out the cake and placed it on the table. Everyone was sitting around the table when Virgil and Jamen entered the room. Jamien was following Virgil to the kitchen. Virgil sat down at the table. Jamien jumps up on a seat next to Virgil. Virgil pulled the chair Jamien was sitting on closer to the table. Jamien placed his front paws on the table and stood on his back legs. The cake was in the middle of the table with five candles. The cake was a banana cake made for both animals and humans to eat. Grandma Tracy lit the candles and moved the cake to Virgil and Jamien.
Everyone started singing Happy Birthday to Jamien, and Virgil blew out the candles. John picked up the cake, carried it to the kitchen counter, and started cutting it into slides. Everyone got their price for the cake and the wolves too. The rest of the night, everyone watched movies and went to bed.
