I'm sticking to the names, tools and powers I picked out for the new kids because I put a lot of thought in what to give them and I don't to throw away all that hard work.

It took two days to defeat Nightcastor. Two whole days.
On the night Nightcastor was finally defeated, the new superheroes waited on a rooftop for Ladybug and Chat Noir, taking the remaining time to get ready for training. Rena Rouge was really pumped. She was doing jumping jacks while Carapace did stretches. Queen Bee was too busy trying to watch over Manon dancing around with her fan. Kagami had no sword in knowing how to use her sword. Luka played a song on his lure as easily as he would on his guitar. Rose twirled around the roof, blissfully humming as she swept the floor with her broom. Mylene used her jump rope to warm up. Kim tossed and swung his Ruyi Jingu Bang around, jumping about like a monkey, having fun with his new superhero monkey-like abilities.
The others were not so excited.
Sabrina held her stick, pouting with uncertainty. "How am I supposed to fight with a stick? Not a staff, not a knife but a stick. What, do I just throw it at the akuma's forehead or something?"
Max stared at his horseshoe. "I am 100% as puzzled as you."
"At least you know how to use your tools." Marc said, holding up his quiver. "I never did archery!"
Nathaniel stared at his French horn in fear as if it could explode any minute. "I can't play the French horn! I can barely play the triangle!"
Juleka tugged on her whip, afraid to actually use it properly. Alix inspected her umbrella, wondering how it was considered a weapon in the first place. Ivan just stood there, holding his ox goad under his folded arms.
"This is gonna be a snap!" Kim bragged, pressing two fingers to his temple. "I am a master of Unagi!"
Kagami shot him an odd look. "Eel."
"What?"
"You said eel."
"No, I don't. I said Unagi. That's karate."
"Do not question me. Unagi is freshwater eel in Japanese."
"So, Kim, you're the master of sushi?" Alix cracked, she and the girls giggling. "I think your karate instructor was a part time fisherman."
"No, he wasn't! He was butcher!"
Carapace immediately stepped in to stop a fight from brewing. "Dude, don't argue with her, she's Japanese. You know she's right. Remember what happened last time you refused to believe the truth?"
Kim clammed up, red in the face. So did Alix and everyone else.
Rena Rouge stopped her exercise to glare at her boyfriend. "Really? You have to bring that up?"
"It was relevant?"
Just then, Chat Noir showed up, grinning too big.
"Hey, everyone!" He greeted, rubbing his hands. "Ready for your first day of training?"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Good! As soon as Ladybug gets here, we can begin."
"Where's Ladybug?"
"She's coming."
"She's here."
Chat Noir yelped and hopped around, finding Ladybug standing right behind him.
"Milady! Ready to make heroes out of our recruits?"
Ladybug walked pass him, ignoring him to frown at the new recruits.
"I hope your kwamis explained your powers that come with your Miraculous over the free time you got." They nodded and she resumed talking. "Once you use your power, your Miraculous will beep, alerting you are about to detransform. On the first beep, you go and hide. Not dance, not brag, you hide, recharge your kwami and then come back transformed."
"Hi, Ladybug!" Manon greeted loudly, waving her fan. "Nice to meet you again! Remember me? My name is-"
"Your name doesn't matter." Ladybug cut Manon off.
The little girl closed her mouth and watered her eyes. Queen Bee gently pulled Manon back and glared, glared at Ladybug who did not pay any heed to her. The girl in red just pursed her lips and furrowed her eyes, speaking out in a tone of voice that demanded total attention and respect.
"Your lives outside the mask doesn't matter. Your feelings don't matter. Your age doesn't even matter."
The new kids gasped softly at her dismissive attitude.
"All that matters is protecting Paris from Hawkmoth and his akumas. Whenever an akuma comes, you come. You drop what you're doing and get there. Your lives are gonna get tougher from here on, so suck it up. But the number one rule of being a superhero is keep your civilian identity secret."
What she said that last line, she narrowed her eyes more on Queen Bee.
"Your civilian identity is your greatest secret. You just keep it secret no matter what. No one can know that, either by accident or on purpose. People are gonna talk, they're gonna gossip and they're spread lies about you. You keep this secret to protect not yourself, not Paris, but the ones you love. They'll be in great danger if you blab. Do not give in to gossip and don't be so gullible. I'm still looking at you, Queen Bee! Don't think Carapace and Rena Rouge are off the hook either."
Ladybug could not resist to smirk of satisfaction at the guilt on the faces of Rena Rouge, Queen Bee and Carapace.
This was her payback.
They may not listen to Marinette but they will definitely listen to Ladybug. They will obey her every order, they will believe her every word.
In a way, that was justice for Marinette.
"Are we clear?"
She got mumbles and unenthusiastic replies.
"I SAID ARE WE CLEAR?!"
She received a much more animated response.
"Yes, Madame!"
"Was that really necessary, Ladybug?" Chat Noir asked. "The speech was good, but I rather have it without the spiteful attitude!"
She ignored him again. "Give me your superhero names. Now!"
"Rena Rouge, reporting for duty!"
"Carapace here!"
"Queen Bee at your service, Ladybug."
"Uh, Tigress!" Juleka piped up.
"Fancy Mouse!" Mylene squeaked.
"Ryuko." Kagami stated.
"Bunnix!" Alix cried.
"Viperion." Luka calmly stated.
"Lassie!" Sabrina cried, putting her arm up.
"I'm Pink Pig!" Rose squealed.
"Uh, Pegasus!" Max said.
"King Monkey, of course!" Kim boasted, flexing his arms.
Bunnix and Pegasus rolled their eyes.
"Pan." Marc spoke confidently.
"Super Peacock Girl!" Manon announced proudly.
Queen Bee shook her head. "No way, too cliche."
"She's a child and a Peacock...a peacock hatchling is a peachick so…" Lassie pondered.
"Super Chick Girl!"
"Or Chick."
"Chick is better."
"Gallic!" Nathaniel announced.
Everyone laughed. Except for Ladybug.
"What? The Gallic Rooster is a national symbol of France."
"No, that doesn't sound right." Pink Pig disagreed.
"What about Chanticleer?" Pan suggested.
"Yeah, that's perfect! Thanks!" Chanticleer grinned and tried to pat Pan on the shoulder in gratitude, but the goat hero moved away.
"Oxlip!" Ivan shouted out.
King Monkey scoffed. "Oxlip? That's the best you can come up with?"
"Oxlip is a flower, a hybrid between the primrose and the cowslip." Pegasus determined.
"A flower? Since when do oxs and flowers go together?"
"Since Stompp eat all the flowers from my next-door neighbour's garden." Ivan/Oxlip explained. "My neighbour thought he was a bug."
"Why?"
"Stompp said flowers that flowers are good source of vita-"
"SHUT UP!"
The new kids stared at Ladybug, silent and scared. She turned her glare over to Chat Noir.
"We got a lot of work to do."
He chuckled nervously.
Let's get down to business
To defeat the Huns
Ladybug whipped out her yoyo and showed her absolute effortless best moves.
Chat Noir joined in with his baton. The others only stared in awe of the duo, remembering how famous they were for their dynamic, perfect partnership.
"Tools, out, now!" Ladybug ordered.
Did they send me daughters
When I asked for sons?
The new kids jumped into action at once. A bit too fast and standing too close to each other because they immediately screwed it up.
Tigress cracked her whip too fast and lashed her brother on the butt who was perfectly playing his lyre.
"OW!"
"Sorry!"
Fancy Mouse used her jump rope but ended up choking Oxlip by the throat when the rope came over his head, causing him to gag, dropping his ox goad.
"Oh my God! Sweetie!"
Lassie tried to make a weapon out of her stick by throwing it at Carapace. The boy shielded himself from her tossed tool.
Bunnix opened her umbrella but accidentally hit her friends surrounding her.
"Ow! Watch it!" King Monkey snapped. He tried to copy Chat Noir's baton tricks, only to hit his head as well as Bunnix's accident.
"You watch it!"
In quick response, she accidentally hit him in his stomach with her umbrella like a bat.
Pan fumbled with his tool, his arrows falling out around him and struggling to use his bow.
Ryuko wielded her sword so strongly, it slammed on Chanticleer's back, knocking the wind out of him and blow a horrible, ear-piercing howl out of his French horn.
"Watch where you're pointing that thing!" He coughed out.
Pink Pig swept the floor, blissfully singing but causing her friends to trip under their feet by her broom.
"Amok time!" Chick announced, plucking a blue feather from her fan.
"Chick, no!"
Queen Bee dropped her spinning top and run towards Chick. The little girl blew the feather from the palm of her hand, hitting the willing bee Miraculous holder in the chest, transforming a blue twin of Queen Bee.
"Yay!" Chick cheered.
"Chick, release her at once!" Lassie ordered.
Chick remembered what Duusu told her and snapped her fingers, causing the blue Queen bee twin to vanish and leave the real Queen Bee in its place. Chick's brooch beeped so Queen Bee grabbed her and carried her away to detransform.
Pegasus threw his horseshoe. Like a boomerang, it came right back and whacked him in the head, making him accidentally utter 'Voyage' and opening a vortex in the process, teleporting him to…
…a dorm in Olympe.
A dorm he could've been alone in if one girl hadn't stepped out of her room.
He waved, smiling weakly. "Bonjour?"
She screamed.
Lights went on, doors opened, and pretty girls in sleepwear, towels and robes rushed out, squealing at the sight of him.
"What the?" Vanessa poked her head out of her bedroom and gasped when she saw Pegasus.
Some girls screamed in fear while some girls fawn over him.
"You're cute!" One girl flirted.
Pegasus smiled awkwardly until a girl hit him with a wooden spoon.
"Get out of there, you creep!"
"Get him, Sonja!"
"HOW DID THIS BOY GET IN!?" Valérie yelled as she stormed in, wearing a fluffy pink robe, white slippers in the appearances of hawks and her hair in curlers.
The matron of Olympe scared him as much as she did when he first met her as Max. Even more so because there wasn't a gate of bars protecting him.
"Sorry! This vortex has a mind of its own! I'll leave now! Have a nice night!"
Pegasus jumped back through his vortex, returning back to his friends with a crash on the ground and a beep of his glasses. He jumped onto his feet and started to panic, unsure where to go and hide.
"MONKEY PILE!"
His best friend leapt and landed on him just as he detransformed.
Chat Noir cringed whereas Ladybug glared, more unimpressed by the minute.

Rena Rouge was the only one who wasn't involved in the mess. Instead, she cartwheeled around Ladybug, playing 'Flight of the Bumble Bee', eager to impress her.
"If you're done prancing around, we have work to do." Ladybug deadpanned.
Rena Rouge lowered her flute from her lips. "Ladybug, I just want to say I'm so sorry for what happened. I learnt my lesson and I am grateful for this chance."
Ladybug raised a brow, visually Rena Rouge as Alya.
"You're not even supposed to be here." She snarled. "You only got this this chance by sheer luck. So, you better not screw it up or else I will be ripping the necklace off your neck."
Rena Rouge made a whimper. That really hurt.
"How can I prove myself if she won't let me?" She asked herself.
First Marinette refused to speak to her again, now Ladybug told her flatly she doesn't trust her anymore.
It was her sheer luck to have her most precious girls hate her.

Over the next couple of days, the new superheroes continued to mess up more in their training.
They fell into the Seine, crashed into walls, broke windows, bent lampposts, destroyed mailboxes, left holes in the roads, all making disasters that Ladybug had to fix with Lucky Charm.
Even King Monkey crashed into a lemon stand.
"Ow, my liver! Ow, my lasagna!" King Monkey wailed as he was dragged out by Carapace.
"Dude, lasagna isn't a major organ." Carapace told him.
On one occasion, Pegasus somehow destroyed a garbage can. A garbage can of all things.
"Did I do that?" He asked, flushed with embarrassment.
Another incident was when Ryuko acted fast with Lightning Dragon when by frustration and pressure…
….only to accidentally electrocute herself.
In one flash, the normally serious girl was covered in a grey and black hue, her perfect hair sticking up in an afro with sparks popping out, her eyes wide open and her mouth open with clenched teeth.
"I feel like Ash when he first got Pikachu..." She muttered.
Chat Noir overheard her. "You like Pokemon?"
She blushed under her red mask and darted away to detransform, leaving him confused.
The only one who improved was Pink Pig, yet it was only because she knew how to use her power to heal her friend after they mess up. And every time she did it, she would sing like a Disney princess.
As Ladybug watched over the new superheroes and studied their mannerisms, she tried to push away the feeling she knew them from somewhere. But every once in a while, it slithered back up her spine.
You're a spineless, pale, pathetic lot

"Can't you ease up on them?" Chat Noir pleaded to Ladybug. "They're trying their best!"
Ladybug snorted, crossing her arms. "It's not good enough. They need to be 100% on their game."
"This coming from the girl who crashed into me and didn't purified the akuma on the first day. But we learnt from our mistakes."
"It was a mistake in giving them Miraculous! They're not hero material. Especially Rena Rouge, Carapace and Queen Bee. I should have never picked Alya and Nino the first place. Chloe stole the Bee Miraculous from Adrien Agreste!"
"...maybe Chloé wasn't a first choice but look at her now. She's training her heart out, as is the others!"
"They wouldn't last a second against the akumas!"
"Not with the number we're getting by the day!"
"The last thing we needed is babysitting a bunch of wannabes!"
"Difficult decisions had to be made."
"You may not choose them, but Master Fu did."
"Chat, he did not. You picked them. He gave you the Miraculous and you just gave them away."
"I didn't disobey him. He wanted us to have allies."
"I had enough of this. I'm telling those packers to give up their Miraculous. They're not-"
Her wrist was grabbed in a strong hold and she was forced to face the hardest glare she never thought she would see on Chat's face.
"If you take the miraculous from them, you're betraying a good man. It was Master Fu's dying wish. He found me first and he had to act quick. You are hurt and betrayed, I understand that and I'm sorry, but I don't regret doing it. This is my decision and for once, you're gonna deal with let go of your anger and help them become the heroes Paris needs like you told them."
Needless to say, Ladybug was speechless. Chat Noir had been her pillar for the last weeks, he supported her in her darkest moments of doubts. She was so blinded by her emotions that she pushed him away when he helped her.
She sighed. "They better be worth it. If they don't defeat their first Akuma in less than an hour, I'm taking their miraculous off of them for good."
"That's not fair!"
"Life isn't fair. Besides...we need a bigger team."
"I was there for you when you were in doubt. The least you could do for me was trust me. I know you're angry, but you're acting like a real bitch."
"Well, I have the right to express my true feelings! I'm not gonna suck up my feelings anymore! I had enough of keeping it in! If this is gonna happen, fine! I'll deal with it! But it has to be the right decision in the end! And when that happens, I'll beg on my knees to join us permanently!"
He smirked. "Deal."
They shook hands.
I'm never gonna catch my breath!

Now I really wish that I knew how to swim!
Nathaniel winced as he sat down at his desk. "I never knew how hard it is to be superhero."
"I'm exhausted!" Kim wailed, lying across his desk.
Nino rubbed his right arm. "I got bruises where there should not be bruised."
Alix cringed, hands on her hips. "I think I lost body parts I never got to use."
"Ladybug is scarier than Chloe." Juleka moaned as she sagged.
"No, Ladybug is scarier than Chloé and Ms Mendeleiev combined." Mylene admitted while wiggling in her chair, trying to sit more comfortably.
(Speaking of Chloé, she was taking another day off to babysit Manon and was in her suite with Mahon, Sabrina and their kwamis, all bearing beauty masks with cucumbers over their eyes and fluffy white bathrobes.)
"She's kinda vicious like Lila." Max said, rolling his shoulders.
"No one is as vicious as Lila." Alix told him as she did flexes with her sore arms.
Unfortunately, she as overheard by Lila who headed to her desk with no arching bones.
"Did you say no one is as vivacious as me?" Lila asked sickly, flipping her hair.
"No, we said no one is as vicious as you!" Alya retorted, baring her teeth. Lila shuddered and hurried to her seat.
"She's not vicious!" Adrien protested. Even though he and Ladybug were strained at the moment, they were still partners. And he will defend her with his life. "She's just in a bad mood. She'll see the light."
"I hope she does before we end up in body casts." Mylene said softly, careful not to wake Ivan. The large boy was snoring like a bull.
"Kids?"
Apart from Lila, everyone scrambled to their feet and called out random answers.
"X = Y!"
"Oganesson!"
"The Irish Famine!"
"George Washington!"
Ms Bustier stared at her students. "...good morning?"
The kids dropped their heads on their desks, groaning.
"Did any of you get any sleep?"
"Just a rough night, Ms."
"That's an understatement."
"We used to call Marinette our everyday Ladybug." Rose moaned. "We should stop calling her that now we know what Ladybug is really like."
At once, Alya and Adrien thought about Marinette. Oh, how they wanted her to be on the team. Sweet, helpful, determined Marinette...
Meanwhile, the girl of their desires was leaning on her hand with her elbow propped on her desk, her eyes slipping back and forth in between consciousness.
"Just stay awake a little longer, Mar..." Vanessa whispered, gently shaking her friend by the shoulder. "If you're caught sleeping in class again, you'll be back in the isolation room and that's worse than detention."
"I know..." Mairnette slurred, getting too close to falling asleep. But I'm so sleepy..."
"Marinette, what is the answer?"
Even in her half-dead state, Marinette heard her teacher's voice clearly, prompting her to shoot up from her chair, fully awake.
"THAILAND, SIR!"
"...this is maths, Marinette."
Vanessa slapped her forehead.

"Come on, you guys! You're not even trying!" Rena Rouge yelled.
"You try shooting an arrow off the top of the Eiffel Tower a hundred feet away!" Pan yelled back.
The training exercise that night didn't go so smoothy, so everyone was engulfed in an argument.
"You're not perfect either!"
"Yeah, I seen potholes more capable than you!"
"We just need time to work at our own pace."
"We don't have time! Ladybug and Chat Noir have fought three akumas in the last five days! We need to get our act together so we can help them!"
"What help will we be if we freeze up in battle or die?"
"We will if you don't take this seriously!"
"We are! It's just that it's hard to take it in!"
"You're all terrible!" Ladybug snapped, getting all of their attention. She pointed at the fox heroine. "Rena Rouge, you need patience, sensitivity, and to see what is right in front of you! So, stop pushing the others if they're not ready! The last thing I need is a bunch of saps freezing up in mid battle."
"Told you so!" Pan shouted, only to direct her furious gaze on them and the others.
"Pan, learn archery! Pink Pig, this isn't a Disney movie so quit dancing around and actually learn to fight! Fancy Mouse, stop hiding behind your boyfriend! He can't protect you from everything if you wanna be a hero! Oxlip, you need to protect yourself as you protect your little girlfriend! Lassie, figure out how to use your tool! Tigress, get more confidence in you! Viperion, you can't always rely on your Second Chance power! Pegasus, decide when you wanna teleport and stop ending up in a girls's dorm! King Monkey, stop acting like a king when you keep tripping over your tail! Bunnix, stop hoarding dares on King Monkey and yourself! Chanticleer, play at least 'The Saints Go Marching In'! Carapace, you're not taking any of this seriously! You're so so chill, you make the North Pole look hot! Queen Bee, you better not out yourself again! You told all of Paris who you were and what a kwami is! Ryuko, think before you leap! you act too quickly, that's why you fried yourself! Chick, you're way too young to even be here! Chat Noir…just give me a heads up before you do any big decisions in the future."
Chat Noir sighed. "At least you're giving them constructive feedback."
"I like it even better if they go back to the playground where you found them!"
"You're mean!" Chick proclaimed bravely, making a pout that could've triggered Ladybug's memory if she wasn't so hotheaded.
"Same time tomorrow. Don't be late." Ladybug said sharply before leaving for the night.
"Chick, that was very mean of you." Queen Bee scolded. "Ladybug wasn't mean. She's just…frustrated."
As soon as Ladybug arrived at her bedroom, she burst into tears. Vanessa leapt from her bed and wrapped her around her friend as the super heroine detransformed, collapsing to her knees in white pyjamas.
"They all hate me..." Marinette whimpered.
Vanessa held her as she cried, stroking her hair. This wasn't the first time Marinette broke down from the stress, but this was the worst so far.
"No matter what they say, no one can force you to trust them. If you want them to prove themselves, then they should do so or leave."
Marinette smiled up at Vanessa. Tikki was smiling also, very pleased that her holder had a friend she can fully trust in this uncertain time.
Time is racing toward us

"I don't think I can do this anymore." Mylene whimpered, curled up in her comfy bed. "Ladybug is not even giving us a chance."
Mullo floated over to the girl, digging underneath the covers and got close to Mylene's face.
"Then make a chance."
"You can't make a chance, Mullo."
"Yes, you can. If you're gonna to wait for a chance, you'll never get it. You just be watching your life go on without you."
Mylene blinked, pondering over the advice.

So pack up, go home, you're through

Tigress sulked after Ladybug critiqued her again.
"She's right. I am hopeless…"
She looked up, the Eiffel Tower darkened against the bright moon.
but as she dwelled in her sadness, her mind visualised Vanessa dancing on the edges of the mighty tower. The girl of her dreams beckoned Tigress to come up.
Tigress stood up right away. Filled with new hope and confidence, she raced to the top, climbing like an actual cat and using her whip at the right times. she slipped once or twice yet she pulled through and managed to get to her destination.
Her friends cheered her on from down below.
"Excellent, Tigress!" Ryuko praised. "When you fall down seven times, you get up eight times!"
"I thought you didn't believe in second chances." Viperion "teased. But I suppose the eighth time is an exception."
Ryuko glared at him, which only made him chuckle. Especially how her cheeks puffed out like a chipmunk.

Ladybug was especially surprised by Tigress's success. However, rather than be happy, she got mad. Her fury theorised that if they fail, she and Chat Noir would be on their own.
"That can't be. They're not hero material! They can't do that! It's just a lucky streak!"
Blinded by her anger, she tripped over a slab. Rena Rouge rushed to her side and helped her up, but Ladybug slapped her hand away.
"Don't touch me! Don't help me! You won't help anyone unless it's convenient."
Of course, Rena Rouge was hurt by the words. But then she pulled her lip in a determined frown.
"Look, LB, I know I messed up big. I'll pay for that mistake for the rest of my life, even when I go broke. You can put me down, yell at me, hit if all you want! But you underestimate me. I don't give up. Ever. So, give me all you got!"
Ladybug dropped her jaw, speechless.

Against Ladybug's dead-set ideas of them, the new superheroes begun to get better.
Much better.
Tigress leapt across rooftops and walls, flipping through the air and used her whip to catch hold of a gargoyle to swing her across great distances.
Lassie finally figured out how to use her stick, by simply throwing it at the right angles, like a baton but shorter.
Pan used his bow and arrow like an expert, shooting a single arrow straight across 50 feet in the air, slicing the apple on Chat Noir's head in half.
Pink Pig swept her broom like she was dancing but also used it as a fighting staff.
King Monkey juggled lemons while standing on his Ruyi Jingu Bang like a real monkey, grabbed one and crushed it, the fruit's juice squeezing in his hand.
Little Chick hopped from one lamp post to another (like Chien-Po from Mulan).
Bunnix jumped in one portal to another, ending up in different eras and came back to her time, unchanged.
Ryuko crouched, taking a moment to think and then used her sword to create a perfect storm.
Pegasus leapt through his vortex, crossing across different countries and places.
Oxlip threw his girlfriend up in the air and lifted a fire truck.
In the air, Fancy Mouse pulled tricks with her jump rope.
Chanticleer played 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' while riding the back of a boat, unnoticed by the crew who only thought the sweet music was coming from the radio.
