Dear Readers,

Welcome to another installment of Professor Tohsaka at Beacon Academy!

I would like to thank Maglad for editting and providing feedback on this chapter. This chapter would have been worse without his input.

I hope you enjoy it!

Chapter Nine "Ritual Effects"

It was difficult for me to open the door. I felt like boulders weighed down on my shoulders. Opening the door would expose me to the students that had witnessed one of my most humiliating moments of my life.

Thankfully, I managed to contain its fallout through the magical contract my students agreed to sign. Furthermore, the programmers of Tohsaka Industries managed to contain and remove whatever managed to leak into the next. Of course, the possibility will always exist someone downloaded it into an isolated medium, but we're talking about college classes here, not the blueprints for a nuke, so the possibility is small enough as to be negligible. I hope.

I sighed, and considered just how close I was to the humiliating scene becoming the newest hot trend on the net.

"Rin, get yourself together… You have fought Servants, Demon god Pillars, Beasts and things most mages have no name for." My husband whispered into my ear.

I could feel my cheeks growing warm under Shirou's affectionate attention. If we weren't in a hallway full of my colleagues and students, I may have been more than happy to return my husband's affection.

"Shirou," I muttered while gently pushing him, "you don't need to treat me like a child. I'm not a child."

Having said that, his presence did a lot to help me calm down before twisting the doorknob and walking into the classroom through the staff's door next to the stage at the bottom of the room.

"I need to apologize for my behavior a few days ago," I started in a loud voice as I walked into the classroom. "Having said that, now that the cat's out of the bag, I've decided that the responsible thing to do is to explain things in a calm and mature manner, rather than have a bunch of teenagers fumble around and try to figure things out on their own... I want to believe you know what I'm talking about?"

"Professor, are you serious?!" Weiss raises her voice, standing up with bright red cheeks.

"I most certainly am, miss Schnee. While you 'can' as magic users, get somewhat of a charge from shared intimacy, there's such a thing as negative returns, and such a thing as accidental feedback and other risks, so I think it is only prudent to clear some things out..."

"Blakey, you were in a bag?" Yang poked at her partner.

"Low hanging fruit much?" Blake rolls her eyes.

"Now, almost all of you are eighteen or more, which means I only need to worry about..." My gaze wandered over to the quiet leader of team RWBY as the girl actively tried to sink into her seat. "Miss Rose, if you want, you can leave the classroom. My husband is willing to spend some time discussing fighting techniques with you to make sure you're making positive use of your time..."

"R-really? Yes! I-i mean, its not that I don't want to be here and listen to you, I mean, I can watch the record later in my room, but the chance to talk to mister Emiya won't come around again, so...!"

I nodded in understanding and waited for Shirou and Ruby to leave the room.

"Alright, now... tantric rituals. I know that if I say they're a ritual like any other, some of you will begin to chuckle or snicker, but the fact is, all rituals are dangerous to some degree, and should be taken seriously, so on that note, please pay attention, because tantric rituals ARE a ritual, after all." My serious tone seemed to have an affected my students as not many people snickered or make childish remarks expected from their age group regarding topics such as sex.

"Now, these are the points where your Od gathers, these are..."

Thus, I began my explanation after displaying a large diagram on the screen.

"Alright Ruby, I've seen you fight, and you're already pretty good with Crescent Rose. What other weapons are you skilled with?" Shirou asked as they walk unto an empty arena.

"Besides scythes and rifles, I really don't have much skill in other weapons," replied Ruby. "What do you ask that?"

Shirou frowned in displeasure, making Ruby feel as if she had done something wrong. This feeling was especially strong given that her role model was the one making the expression.

"You did nothing wrong," Shirou quickly spoke up. "It is a common problem amongst trainees and even fully trained huntsman." He shook his head. "A common problem that should have been addressed long ago or many huntsmen wouldn't have their careers cut short due to a crippling injury or death."

Ruby felt as if she had been hit the chest. She subconsciously thought to her own mother who had died in service of protecting Remnant from the Grimm.

"What is this problem?" She couldn't help but ask, vowing to quickly fix this deficiency that she had never known about.

"The problem is that I believe huntsman are not given enough training in the many common weapons used on Remnant. If your weapon malfunctions, breaks or is missing or damaged, you should have a backup and if that fails, enough ability to weaponize anything you can get your hands on." Shirou explained.

"But no one can be skilled in every weapon as you are!"

"Of course, they cannot and they don't have to be." Shirou shook his head. "What I am saying is you need some basic understanding on the common weapons. You never know what it may save your life." Several different weapons appeared around him. "Let start with the sword…"

"...and so, the Magic Circuits of all participants need to be synched up in order for the energy to flow from one to the other. Of course, the intention is everything, as it's so often the case with any other magecraft rite." I continued explaining, having found it much easier to go on the controversial topic once the ball got rolling, so to speak, defaulting into my more academically inclined mood with ease. "Once everyone's role is stable and clear, the donor's Od can begin to fill..."

I didn't write with implements. The mouse appearing on the screen was controlled via my thoughts thanks to Spirit Hacking. I also didn't need a keyboard or use a voice-to-text program for the words I wanted to appear.

My eyes scanned the room as I looked at my students' behavior. The number of students that didn't take my lecture seriously and treated as a joke given its sexual nature was very lower than I expected. This was not what I had been expecting from teenagers, but of budding mages that devoured any knowledge they could get their hands on in improving their magical abilities.

My worries were proven right when came quickly when I saw one of my lazier students prodded his more studious classmate.

"Hey, stop looking at your Scroll and pay attention, man."

"Why should I? Dude, this is about sex. There is nothing special it beyond you know…"

I was shocked to hear that one of my students had actually tested my hardly "believable" last class lecture on Tantric Rituals. My ears pricked and I turned to other similar conversation taking place in my classroom. To my shock, I discovered not one, but about a third of my students had personally had sex with someone to experiment if what I had taught was real!

My first thought was that I had committed a terrible crime, openly advocating my students to have sex and prompted them to test out my lecture. Then my horrified thoughts were quickly quashed when I recalled the other times I had taught similarly controversial topics such as how manipulate the mind and body with hypnosis or body/mind manipulation magecraft in the past.

I was not responsible for my students' behavior. It was up to students to decide how to use what I had taught. The hushed conversation I heard about how I had allowed romantic relationship to blossom thanks to my first lecture on Tantric Rituals helped ease my mind on teaching the subject.

I stopped, and called them out. "I am fairly sure everything I have taught so far works. What makes you think this would be any different? Magic is not a toy. For Brother's sake, please pay attention, or leave. There's a long waiting list of people who'd love to have your seat!"

That got the students to shut up and pay attention. Honestly, with their raging hormones and poor impulse control, teenagers are definitively a poor crowd for this lesson, but given the tiny window I'd have to teach them this stuff, there was little I could do about that.

I reassumed teaching, but part of my attention was drawn to Team RWBY. I didn't admit it publicly as it was kind of rude for a teacher to openly admit which students she liked, I did my best not to show favoritism, but the members of Team RWBY are my four favorite students. They had interesting personalities and history, but the thing that caught my eye the most is their potential for greatness. I was sure they could leave a positive mark on the world.

"I can't believe this turned into just another class. And a boring one at that... how does THAT happen!?" Yang cried out softly.

"Shh! I'm trying to listen!" Weiss shushed her teammate as she took notes.

"Ugh, you know its a seriously boring topic when the Ice Queen starts paying attention to it." The blonde whimpers softly.

"I'm surprised you aren't making any jokes." Blake looked at her partner, amused by the blonde's lackadaisical attitude.

"I gave up when future exams were brought up."

As I listened to them, I wondered what their legend they would be like. Would they reach the fame of the Argonauts or the Knights of the Round? Well that was something I eagerly awaited to see as I returned my full attention to my lecture.

Roman Torchwick read through the pile of documents, books and maps on the table (and on the floor, and the little coffee table), trying to choose how and where to hit in his quest for easy dust. His studies came to an end when he detected a presence.

"Neo!" Roman stopped his hand, already halfway to his cane when he realized it was his trusty accomplice. "You should stop sneaking up to me like that."

"It was fun though," she pouted while giggling. "It's not every day that I get to sneak up and freak out the master thief, Roman Torchwick."

"Very funny, Neo," grumbled Roman as he reached his trademark hat and fixed on his head. "It's been months but I still can't get used to your voice. I'm happy for you, but it's still weird."

"Well, it's not bad compared to when I first got my defective voicebox replaced," beamed Neo as she reached for her throat.

Roman nodded in agreement. He shuddered just recalling the noise that Neo had made when she started to learn how to speak for the first time after getting the incorrectly formed voicebox that Neo had been born.

"And many of my former subordinates that had been forced to retire due crippling, which couldn't be treated with modern medicine until Tohsaka Industries came about, have been healed," said Roman happily as he recalled how ex-subordinates return to the fold and telling him their stories of recovery. "

"Yea, amongst many other inventions and services that we now enjoy thanks to them," remarked Neo as she thought of all the new things that Tohsaka Industries offered flooding the market as of late.

"So what brings you back to the hideout?"

"Some interesting information." Neo handed Roman her Scroll.

"Let see what's this information that made you risk blowing your cover as a student in Beacon…" Roman muttered as he took Neo's Scroll and looked through it. "Tantric rituals…" He read the title of text file that Neo had prepared and as he started to read. "Neo…" The criminal mastermind turned to Neo, who was looking away while whistling. "Are you serious or is this a confession that you like me?"

Neo, who had been mentally prepared to joke around about tantric rituals, instantly turned red. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Neo, I have known you for years. You might think that you may have hidden it from me, but…" Roman suddenly coughed uncomfortably. He took a deep breath and his expression turned serious. "I know you love me."

"You… knew…!" Neo spluttered in shock.

"Yes, I did." Roman chuckled. "I accidently discovered your…" He coughed. "Collection of pictures and video of my naked…"

"Oh, no you didn't!" screamed a red-faced Neo as she snatched her Scroll back from Roman's hands. "Look at my secret stash!"

Roman turned away and refused to meet Neo's furious and embarrassed expression. "I'm sorry if I hacked your Scroll without your permission. It just happened when I learned about this handsome looking male friend you hanged out with."

Neo's furious and embarrassed expression evaporated as a very interested expression formed. "Did you get jealous of Richard?" She asked in a coy manner.

"I don't kn-" He gave up in refusing when Roman saw Neo's delighted eyes. "Fine, yes I got jealous Neo!"

"That's great to know!" Neo screamed happily as she jumped at Roman and kissed his lips.

Roman was left stunned for a moment before he responded back. The two continued to kiss passionately for a while before they stopped to draw breath.

"So were you planning to approach me and start a romantic relationship with tantric ritual as an excuse?" Roman asked coyly.

Neo blushed and sighed. "Yes, that was going to be the plan until you ruined it." She pecked Roman's lips. "I didn't just bring up tantric rituals because I wanted to your girlfriend. It was also because we could strengthen our abilities through it."

"Strengthen our abilities? How is that possible?"

"There is several hundred pages worth of text regarding tantric rituals, but there are several sections talking about various types of tantric rituals that could strengthen the abilities of the participants. One was about creating a magical channel. Another involved transplanting Magic Circuits. And there were many other methods."

"Hold on a moment!" shouted an alarmed Roman. "You're telling me this file that I was reading wasn't pseudo-science to get you and me to get laid, but an actual thing?!" Neo nodded her head seriously. "Okay, this is going to take me a while to digest…"

"I thought the same too when I first heard it. To make sure it was true, I went ahead and asked around. Several Beacon students after learning about tantric rituals tried…"

"Why am I not surprised…" Roman facepalmed. "Teens with a growing sex drive thanks to puberty and the possibility of increased power as huntsmen… It's a recipe for disaster. Begging someone to test it out…"

"Well… Several students tested out the proposed tantric rituals to prove that some of the information on tantric rituals are right. So, I presume the rest is true too."

"These books on tantric rituals. Were they written by Rin Tohsaka or people affiliated with her like Tohsaka Industries?" asked Roman incredulously.

"None of the books were written, but some of the text have Rin's name as an editor or were published by Tohsaka Publishing."

Roman pinched his nose. He had only made a cursory scan of the information that Neo had given him but just what he had read struck him with awe and fear. Just how powerful and capable had the magical civilization? It had to be to have methods of quickly strengthening people that would take with currently used training methods took years or decades to achieve the same results.

He quickly shook his head. There was no need to be awed or scared about the destroyed magical civilization. Roman had found a path to get stronger, and he eagerly awaited to see if what he had read was true.

"Let's try some of the tantric rituals." Roman smiled to Neo and before she could respond, he dragged her away to a nearby room with a bed. "Power awaits!"

~ O ~

Ozpin's eyes. He was greeted by the sight of a naked Glynda resting on his chest, happily snoring away after their exhausting late night activity. The headmaster gently pushed the sleeping Glynda off his body and he quietly wrapped the blanket around her. The last thing he needed was to have his deputy headmistress not being able to work because of a cold.

He walked to the bathroom without making a sound and started to shower.

"If only I had studied more on magic…" Ozpin muttered regretfully.

If Ozpin had the ability to travel back in time then he would have slugged his previous self, Ozma, for passing upon the chance of learning more magic when Remnant's magical civilization had still been around.

"Well, there is no point in regretting something that I can't do anything about." He sighed. "I can only look forward into the future and seize every future opportunity I can."

He turned to knob to cut the water and grabbed a towel. Ozpin dried his body as he walked up to a mirror above the bathroom sink. There he looked into his reflection.

His eyes didn't look at his outer appearance. He cast a magic spell that had helped him greatly as Ozma to slay many monsters and villains when Remnant's magical civilization had been around. His eyes focused on the Magic Circuit dwelling inside him, his soul. What he found greatly surprised him as the results of his last night's activities had far surpassed his expectation.

The Magic Circuits that had been getting weaker and weaker with every reincarnation was for the first time showing signs of regaining the magical might that had once led him being worshipped as a god after the destruction of Remnant's magical civilization.

Ozpin grinned like he had never do so for centuries. How couldn't him when he saw hope of the magical might that had disappeared after countless reincarnations!

"Ozpin, you should stop smiling like that. It looks super creepy."

The Beacon Headmaster turned around to see a drowsy Glynda walk into the room. He quickly wiped away his grin.

"It is good news that the tantric ritual worked," Glynda yawned as she made her way for the shower.

Ozpin would have blushed hearing the statement if he had been the hot-blooded Ozma, but after living for centuries through various reincarnation he was not so easily embarrassed.

"If only this method wasn't sexual in nature." Ozpin sighed regretfully.

"What are you talking about?" Glynda shouted to Ozpin's surprise. "Didn't you look through Rin's proposed syllabus?"

"What about the proposed syllabus?"

Glynda sighed and turned to knob to stop her shower. "You didn't look at properly did you, Ozpin?"

"Maybe not." Ozpin scratched his cheek. "I had a lot of things on my plate right now. There is the world-wide revelation that magic was real, managing the fallout and let's not talk about Tohsaka Industries…"

"Well after you put it that way, I could forgive you for not taking your duties as Beacon's Headmaster too seriously when more important and pressing matters required your attention… To keep it short, Rin on her proposed syllabus listed more than one method to increase your physical and magical abilities."

"WHAT!?"
