Peaceful Date turns Battle in Tower
Touta and Kuryu (secretly Kuroumaru) ride up the elevator going to one of the highest levels of the Heaven's Pillar tower, and the Devil-Vampire couldn't help but feel very excited to be inside the tower that he always dreamed of being inside for a long time. At least as long as he can remember.
"(He's like a little boy excited for a new toy!)" Kuroumaru thought commented of how cute he is.
Then the elevator door opens as they have arrived at the floor and Touta didn't waste anytime getting out with Kuruomaru following him from behind as they make their way to the window.
"(It's been a long time since I came here.)" Kuroumaru thought looked around.
"Whoa! I'm finally here! So high up in the tower!" Touta excited as he looks down seeing they are about 1226 miles high into the air and seeing the capital down there.
"Hey Kuryu, this is so cool! We're above the clouds! This tower really is amazing!" Touta said as he finally gets to see the high view of this tower.
Kuroumaru giggles of seeing Touta being so happy to be here as he remembers hearing him talk about how much he wanted to come here and experience the moments too.
"Oh wait, we came here because you wanted too! Sorry for sounding like an idiot back there." Touta apologized, but Kuromaru didn't mind.
"I'm so glad that I ask you to come up here since it makes you so happy." Kuroumaru said in her high girl voice.
"It's my dream to get to the top of this tower." Touta said.
"Though observation deck that anyone can get to shouldn't bring me this much happiness. Pretty crazy, right?" Touta chuckled, realizing that and blushing a little of the embarrassment.
"Tell me, why do you wanna get to the top? Is there something really important there?" Kuromaru asked.
Touta thought about it for a moment, remembering back in his hometown that he used to see that ghost boy who keeps appearing before him and telling these same words.
"I'll be waiting for you at the top of the tower."
"Touta?" Kuromaru wondered if Touta is in deep of his thoughts for.
"Well, you could say I have a lot of reasons, but I have two main reasons for wanting to go up to the top of the tower." Touta said holding up two fingers.
"One reason is because I made a promise to four of my best friends from the country. We said we climb this tower and do something amazing! So, I wonder how they're doing. I miss them." Touta smiled as he looks in the direction of where his country hometown is.
"Your friends from the country? That sounds so very nice indeed." Kuromaru complimented.
"I'm happy to make any friends, really. After all, Kuroumaru is one of my best friends!" Touta stated with a smile.
"What? You considered my cousin as a best friend?" Kuroumaru asked shock to hear Touta say that.
"Yeah, we're stuck together for life now whether he likes it or not." Touta said.
"That seems like a really big commitment." Kuroumaru said as his cheeks blushes a bit.
"Yeah, it doesn't really matter to me whether he's a boy or a girl as I'll still see him as the coolest person I know." Touta stated as he looks out the window again.
"Huh? Why would you say it didn't matter of my cousin was a boy or a girl?" Kuroumaru asked shock.
"Well, this may sound weird about when we first met, I mistaken him for a girl because of how his face and body looks. But now I gotten to be closer to him more and realize that he's still a cool guy no matter what." Touta explained, remembering the first time they met.
Kuroumaru also remember that day causing him to blush of how he reacted when Touta saw him naked and slapped him right on the face.
"Though to be honest, I kinda had this feeling Kuroumaru would be even cooler if he was a girl but that's just my opinion." Touta added slightly scratching his cheek.
"(H-He thinks I'd be cooler if I was a girl! He would be okay with that?)" Kuroumaru thought surprised, feeling her heart racing a little.
"S-S-So, what's your second reason for wanting to climb the tower all the way to the top?" Kuroumaru asked, wanting to change the subject.
"Oh, the second reason is because of someone calling out to me." Touta answered honestly.
"Someone is calling out to you?" Kuroumaru confused.
"I know it sounds weird, but it's the truth." Touta stated and looks up the window again and up.
"Apparently, someone has been calling out to me for some time and says he's waiting for me at the top of this tower. He wants me to come and meet him there. Why me of all people and why have me come up to this tower, I really don't have a clue, but I have this feeling that I have to go meet him." Touta explained looking down at his hand.
"What's weird is that I feel like I know that guy from somewhere, but I don't know why." Touta said.
"If he feels that important to you, then maybe he had some kind of connection such as a long-lost family member or something similar." Kuroumaru guessed.
"Could be, but I get the feeling this could be more than that." Touta said with a slight serious glare of his eyes.
"(I wonder if Yukihime knows about that strange call, this would be very concerning to her since she is his girlfriend.)" Kuroumaru thought wondered.
"(Come to think of it, I do remember Karin being his second girlfriend, so that would mean he would want a third girlfriend.)" Kuroumaru thought gasped blushing like crazy.
"Is everything okay? Your face is looking really red. Do have a fever?" Touta asked concern.
"Oh, don't worry! I'm perfectly fine, honest!" Kuroumaru said while trying to calm himself down.
"Oh hey, I didn't realize we were getting covered by the clouds! So cool!" Touta amazed.
"Y-Yes, being up here makes you feel like you are getting covered by the clouds and taken away by them too." Kuroumaru stated blushing while trying to smile too.
"Man, that's a pretty way of saying stuff like that." Touta smiled.
"(Damn it, will you please stop with the kind words!)" Kuroumaru thought flinched with her heart racing a little.
"Hey, I'm going to get us some drinks. Be right back!" Touta said as he goes to the food counter to get those drinks.
"(From what Touta just said, he's really okay with me being either a boy or a girl because he just sees me as me no matter what.)" Kuroumaru thought clutching onto her chest.
"(Touta, from our time together I can feel my heart and body wants you more.)" Kuroumaru thought gulped with her face turning red.
"Oh hey, Kuryu, I forgot to ask you something." Touta said right up in his face.
"AAH?!" Kuroumaru jumped in surprise.
"T-Touta, don't scare me like that!" Kuroumaru said with her face blushing harder.
"Sorry, I wanted to ask you if you have any request for what drink you want." Touta explained why he is back so soon.
"Oh, well, I guess I could just go for some water, but that would be boring since we're out here together." Kuroumaru pressed his fingers together.
"In that case, I'll get us something special and I think I know just the drink you are going to love!" Touta smirked.
"Just stay right here and I'll be right back." Touta said pointing down at the spot they are standing on.
"Oh, and one more thing." Touta smiled.
Kuroumaru listen close of what else Touta has to say, but got the biggest surprise of his life when Touta leans in giving the boy disguise as a girl a kiss on the cheek making her gasp and her face turning extremely red.
"Just thought I show how you've been making me feel since we met back at the resort." Touta winked.
"Oh, r-really? How th-thoughtful of y-you!" Kuroumaru stuttered with her body shaking a little.
"(He… He kissed me? Touta actually kissed me on the cheek! And it was close to my lips too!)" Kuroumaru thought gasped and her heart beating faster too.
Then they felt sunlight on their faces upon realizing that the clouds have cleared up showing the sky and view of the land.
"Oh man, the clouds are gone now! This feels great too!" Touta smiled.
"(Damn it, if you keep doing things like this then I may as well decide on becoming a girl.)" Kuroumaru thought gulped and blushing a little harder too.
But unnoticed to them, one person among the lots of people within the observation section of the Heaven's Tower is walking towards the two immortals and have the eyes of someone about to do what he has been set out to do no matter what.
The unknown figure moves closer to Touta ready to carry out his mission.
"I would very much appreciate it if you didn't interrupt my date." Touta said.
This confuses Kuroumaru not knowing what he means by that, but the unknown figure is shocked with his eyes widen and decided to move in fast to bring out his swords only to be met with Touta's own sword sending the man back and crashing into a wall.
This sudden attack scares the people around them wondering what is happening right now and why is that boy holding such a big and scary sword.
"Touta? Why did you do that?" Kuroumaru asked worry.
"Well, remember how I told you about that stalker I dealt with earlier at the park?" Touta asked to which "she" nodded.
"Yeah, it looks like the bastard had a friend with him and I appear to be the main target." Touta explained.
"It would seem you have sharper instincts than I gave you credit with how you immortals keep taking your immortality for granted." The tall man stated as he pushes himself off the wall.
"If you're after me then you must already know my name." Touta guessed.
"Can I at least get your name before we start fighting?" Touta asked, trying to be honorable as a warrior.
"You can call me Asura Tu, and I have been tasked with taking you away. Touta Konoe." Asura introduced himself and why he has come for Touta too.
Asura is a tall man with six arms. The lower part of his face is covered in bandages, as well as his neck, chest and parts of his arms. He is seen wearing a jacket with a hood that partially cover his head. While barefooted, the rest of Asura's attire consists of a simple shirt, a piece of clothing tied around his waist and simple pants that has torn their lower parts. Asura is also seen wearing a pendant.
"Let me guess, you're one of those immortal hunters or as a mercenary here to claim me as a prize." Touta glared and tighten his grip on the Devil Sword Dante.
"You could say that, now shut up and come along quietly if you don't want to make this trouble for yourself and that girl." Asura glared, preparing himself in a fighting stance with his six arms holding swords.
"Yeah right, I was taught better than to go anywhere with strangers." Touta glared back.

Asura charges in first with two sword swings from his two right arms as Touta was able to parry them away and quickly stop another sword attack from the middle left arm.
"Touta!" Kuroumaru gasped.
"Don't worry, this guy isn't a big deal." Touta smirked.
"The capturing mission would've gone smoother if you hadn't knocked out Xingzi Chao and used his shadow magic to trap you." Asura revealed with anger in his eyes.
"I see, so that creep was after me. Guess it was a good thing that I attacked him at the park and sent him flying." Touta smirked.
Touta pushes the sword away and the two starts clashing their blades while Kuroumaru is watching this amazes that Touta was able to sense a threat very close to them, and he just realize there are still some people here.
"Everyone, it's too dangerous here! Please get into the elevator and make your way back down to ground level where it's safe!" Kuroumaru informed.
It didn't take five seconds for the people to realize that much and hurry into the elevator while trying to make some room for as many people to get in as possible, and Kuroumaru decided to stay in case Touta needs backup.
Touta feels a tiny bit of a struggle considering he is fighting against a guy with six arms and can definitely tell that he has some great combat training, he deflects a sword away and barely dodge another sword that going for his head.
"(I'll admit, this guy is good.)" Touta thought feeling his head bleeding a little before its healed.
"Hey, I know this is gonna sound weird from me, but is that guy I knocked out still alive?" Touta asked as he blocks another attack and was pushed back.
"Why would you feel concern for you enemies?" Asura asked.
"Just wanted to know. I don't like killing innocent lives, and I don't kill my enemies if they aren't worth the efforts thinking they're to much of a bitch to deserve that." Touta answered.
Touta charges in swinging his sword against Asura's sword with the strength slowly push the tall six-arm man backward, but Asura manages to move aside and perform a cross slash attack that send Touta crashing into a wall.
"Touta!" Kuroumaru screamed worry.
"Such a naïve child, but if you wish to know. Xingzi Chao is still alive, he's just unconscious probably for a long while from the powerful punch you gave him." Asura answered.
"Okay then, I at least know that." Touta smirked as he jumps off.
"And now you're gonna join your pal soon." Touta pointed his sword at his opponent and have the sword open to unleash the flaming-like demonic aura.
"You can try if you dare!" Asura unleashed six flying slash attacks at Touta.
Touta smirks thinking this guy might not even be trying as he charges in and dodges those attacks as Asura comes in close swinging two swords, Touta blocks them but saw two other swords slams onto the other side catching Touta in a hold.
"Got you!" Asura sliced Touta's legs off and pierce him right through the stomach.
"Damn it, he got me!" Touta gasped.
"Now, you will come with me and" But Asura never got to finish his sentence when he was suddenly struck by a kick to his face making him crash onto the window.
The savior happens to be Kuroumaru holding his sword even though he is still wearing his girl disguise.
"If you think I'm gonna let you take Touta away then you got another thing coming!" Kuroumaru said angry.
"Alright, thanks for the save, Kuroumaru. Guess it was time to drop the girl act." Touta smiled as his stomach heals.
"I'm just glad you're safe." Kuroumaru said, but suddenly gasp.
"Wait?! You aren't shocked of Kuryu fighting, and you knew who I really was the entire time?!" Kuroumaru realized shock.
"I'll tell you later. Right now, we have a bad guy to deal with." Touta smirked.
"Damn, that was hard." Asura groaned.
But Touta didn't gave him much time to recover as he blitzes at the same doing some strong slashes and batted him away with the side of his sword, sending him flying towards Kuroumaru who ready himself and felt the moment as he blitzes past Asura, and he was slashed painfully.
Touta and Kuroumaru come together slashing at the six-armed freak from all directions and even attacking him in the air.
Touta and Kuroumaru come together with a powerful cross slash attack sending Asura right out of the tower and sending him down towards the city.

"So, you knew I was acting as a girl this entire time?" Kuroumaru asked.
"Well, maybe not at first back at the resort. But when we got to the main island, I started feeling your energy and I knew it was you." Touta explained.
"But if you knew then why didn't you say anything?!" Kuroumaru asked shock.
"Because I was having too much fun with my best friend." Touta answered smiling.
"Plus, it seems like you were thinking about whether you want to be a girl or not. Just know whatever you choose, I'll always be by your side." Touta smiled making Kuroumaru's heart beats as the blonde hair turns back into black.
"Though it would be nice you are a girl, I can show you lots of fun like I do with Yukihime." Touta smirked causing Kuroumaru to blush like crazy and his head steaming.

The date of Touta and Kuroumaru has come to an end with both of them fighting together against that Asura guy, and also revealing that Touta had known about Kuroumaru pretending to be a girl throughout most of the date. But it looks to me the date was a big success!
