Living with his father and the rest of the Avengers in Stark tower certainly meant that there was never a dull moment. Prank wars were normal, food fights common and endless teasing abound.
Natasha decided to teach Peter fighting techniques that the younger had never even heard of, whilst both she and Bucky taught him Russian amongst other languages he could need. Peter would sometimes be allowed to work with Bruce on some project for SI where he would talk for hours about how cool he considered all the work Bruce had done for science was.
Clint had taken on the job of teaching Peter how to shoot an arrow, which the boy had excelled at to Clint's excitement, and Sam had once allowed Peter to try out his wings (a mistake he would never try again, to this day Sam still shivered at the thought of the outcome of that specific event.)
Even Steve had gotten involved, training with Peter so that the boy could fight someone who came even a little close to him strength wise, however if it was the difficult fight Peter wanted, he would probably go to Natasha (Sorry Uncle Steve!)
To cut a long story short, all the avengers took it upon themselves to have some thing specific to just themselves and the spider-boy (even Dr. Strange had promised to teach Peter magic at some point) so it should be of no surprise that when two certain Norse God's arrived that they would want to do something with Peter as well.

Thor and Loki had decided to visit their mortal friends after spending a few quiet months on Asgard (well, as quiet as they can get when you have a bunch of rowdy Gods who love to fight, and love banquets even more, but quiet for them in any case.)
They had arrived in an array of colours thanks to the Bifröst and quickly made their way over to the tower where the avengers were all lazing about.
It was a Friday afternoon, so Peter was back from school, in the lab with his father, whilst Pepper was away on a business trip in Hong Kong and wasn't expected back till the following Tuesday. F.R.I.D.A.Y announced the God's arrival just as Peter and Tony were finishing up, so they put down their equipment and went out to greet the deities.
"Ah Stark! Man of Spiders! Great to see you both so..." the golden haired God looked them both up and down before smiling broadly and finishing his statement, " healthy." And really it was a reason for the man to be happy (and surprised) because those 2 brainiac's have no sense of self preservation and can normally be found tinkering away, running on no sleep for the past 57 hours and just pure black coffee, so yes, them being healthy and wide awake was certainly a good thing.
Peter smiled at Thor but his face split into a giant grin when he saw the God wasn't alone. "Uncle Loki!"
Loki, who had up to that point been quiet and happily toying with one of his precious daggers, looked up. To anyone else, he would have looked annoyed, but to Peter who had gotten to know him noticed that gleam in his eyes and the faintest twitch of his mouth, quirking upwards in what could almost be described as a smile.
To the amusement of the adults gathered in the room (even Loki's though he would deny it to his final breath (his real final breath)), Peter practically sprang across the space in order to wrap Loki in a tight hug, of which Loki happily accepted, glaring at those around him almost as a dare to make him stop.
Tony shook his head, he still couldn't believe Peter had managed to get all the avengers wrapped around his little pinkie (he knew exactly how, but it still blew his mind that people that could never agree on anything would all do anything for the little ray of sunshine that was Peter Benjamin Parker-Stark.)

Whilst the others where chatting, Peter and Loki made their way towards the training room. Neither of them were very interested in whatever the others were talking about so the two had decided to train together, and Loki really wanted to do something with Peter that was just between them.
Entering the training room, Peter's eyes immediately searched out the climbing wall (it was just a normal wall, but Tony had sprayed some anti-stick spray onto it and Peter being Peter had taken that as a challenge, nearly giving Tony a heart attach when the man walked in to see an obviously sleep deprived Peter, at the top of the wall, with his arm bent at a suspicious angle (it was later found out to be broken in several areas) and a cheerful grin (bordering insane) on his face.)
However Loki was already heading over to the targets where he collected some throwing daggers and handed a few to Peter, who took them with his nose scrunched up and eyes full of confusion.
"Now Little Spider, I'm going to teach you how to throw knives, and you will listen up." Loki practically barked out, causing Peter to stand ram rod straight, as he realized what was going on.
First Loki provided an example where he through 3 knives, each hitting the dead center of each target, and Peter was left picking his jaw of the ground. Then Loki talked Peter through it before allowing him a go, adjusting his stance and grip on the dagger where necessary.
At first Peter was lucky to even hit the board the targets where held on, with most of his throws causing the daggers to sail above the targets all together or not even reaching halfway, however by the end of the session, almost all of his throws hit the inner circles of the targets, and lets just say, Loki was proud.

That night at dinner, Tony asked Peter and Loki what they had been doing and promptly choked on his water when Peter happily replied that Loki had taught him how to throw knives, and Loki had to be excused from the table with how much his body was shaking from trying to hold his snickers and outright laughter in (not that it made a difference, Tony shot a glare at the door Loki had exited every time the tricksters laughter could be heard.)

(2 Months later)
'Great, just great.' Peter thought to himself as he was yet again thrown across the room and into the sturdy wall for the umpteenth time. He had just been taking photos with some Spidey-Fans on the streets of Queens when a cloud of dirt, debris and smoke appeared a few streets over. He had swung over to check it out, where he came face to face with his current 13th reason why. Dr. Harold Burgis, once a proud and excellent scientist who's theory's had lent to the invention of many life saving apparatus, was now covered in wires and metal and looked partly hysterical.
His new upgrade (or downgrade, it really wasn't appealing) in appearance, had also made him a match for Peter. The wires and tubes were pumping some obnoxiously neon solution into his veins, and with the funky juices aid (as Peter had taken to calling said solution) he was able to catch Peter's punches and throw him around as if the teen were a piñata.
To cut it short, Peter wasn't having any fun.
After Burgis had caught Peter's punch and only just managed to hold it, he had realized that if that kept up, he would stand no chance (even if he had gone crazy) and therefore he had pushed a button that Peter hadn't noticed in the suit and pointed his hand at Peter, where the teen was surrounded by a vile smelling gas, and when the clouds had cleared Peter's spider sense was muffled and slow, and he was barely able to stand up straight, let alone fight and use his super strength, Peter was practically putty in the Scientist's hands.
After throwing Peter around for a bit, the maniac lent down, a gleam in his eyes as he watched Peter struggle weakly, unable to fight back after being the guys own punch bag, and he snickered. "I can't wait to find out what makes you Spider-Man. It's going to be so fun, learning everything about you Spidey, both on the outside," He paused, a cruel smirk twisting his features, "And In."
Peter couldn't help the shiver that ran down his spine, and the pure terror he felt. That sentence managed to snap him out of his daze. He watched as the crazy man stood up, after assuming Peter wasn't able to get up, and walk away to ensure no one was coming to the teens rescue, and disappeared from view.
Taking in some deep, calming breaths, Peter looked around him to see if there was anything he could use to help him, what with his powers being unreliable at best since the gas. His eyes caught sight of a gleam over in the corner closest to him, below a pile of rubble that had fallen during the fight.
He stretched out his arm, unable to properly move just yet, his fingers stretching out, across the fallen bricks, the broken pipes, and-
His fingers closed around the shiny object, and he carefully pulled it towards him, careful not to make any noise. Getting a better look at his prize, he had to refrain from laughing out loud. It was a knife! (Why there is a knife in an abandoned building, I have no clue, plot reasons, don't question it to much.)
The balance was a little off, the weight disproportionate throughout the 'weapon' but you can't be too picky in these situations. Using the wall that he had previously been thrown into as support, Peter managed to get back onto his feet, knife in hand ready to take on the Scientist. He knew he should probably find somewhere to hide, and try an ambush, but he just didn't have the strength to move at all, plus his leg was killing him, he made a mental note to get that checked out.
He heard hurried footsteps approaching, and got into his stance to throw the dagger, when a shadow filled the space the maniac had left threw. Peter drew back his arm and prepared to throw when the shadow spoke.
"Kid! Oh I'm so glad-woah woah woah, put the sharp object down." The figure put its arm's into the air and stepped into the light, allowing Peter to get a glance at his face. He quickly dropped the knife upon seeing his fathers face, and relief quickly filled him as he realized if Tony was here, he was safe.
He felt tears drip down his face, and his body began to shake, and then he felt arms wrapped tightly around him as he was wrapped into a hug full of protection and security by his father. "There there Bambino, shh. I've got you."
Peter sniffled and buried his head deeper into Tony's jacket. He felt a dampness on his shoulder, which later on Tony would adamantly refuse that had been there due to his tears, because he definitely hadn't been crying (sure Tony, sure.)
"Why don't we-uhh, step away from the knife?"
The teen obliged and shuffled away, with his father in a tight grip. Looking down at his son, worry filled Tony's gaze. Blood was sluggishly leaking from a nasty gash on the side of Peter's head, and the boy seemed to be favoring one leg over the other.
"Let's get you home, and checked up." Peter nodded, and that was all the prompting Tony needed. He activated his nano-tech suit, carefully picked his kid up, and once he knew Peter was secure he rushed off to the tower.

Peter was lounging in his pajamas in the living room, watching Star Wars: A New Hope, his right leg wrapped in a cast, cushioned on the sofa, and his head resting on his father's lap. Tony was threading his fingers threw the boy's curly hair and sipping out of one of his mugs.
Burgis had been taken care of, and was being omitted to a psychiatric ward as one of his tests had backfired leaving him as the crazed man that had attacked Peter. At that thought, Tony held the teen tighter, terrified of what could have happened had he been to late.
Father and Son were both grateful for the knife throwing lessons Loki had taught Peter, as had it come down to it, those lessons could have been what saved Peter's life.
Tony decided he was going to be a little nicer to Loki in future, but only a little.

Burgis's plans for Peter however hadn't been his own. He had heard them through a network in the company he worked for. He had heard that his boss and a few others had plans to find the cure to injury and disease, and that all they needed was to get their hands on the one person that was known of that had incredible healing, able to break a leg and be out on patrol within days, without even a limp.
They wanted Spider-Man, and the only reason they hadn't gone after him already? Oscorp had a plan, and a good plan always takes time.
A/N: Hi, I'm really sorry this is so late! I had this idea, but I kept getting stuck, and only now have managed to finish it. Thank you so much for the suggestions, and I intend to get around to writing all of them, amongst others!
I am well aware that Deadpool is able to heal fast, and even regrow limbs, but in this Oscorp knows that Spider-Man is fairly young, and they want a young test subject cus yeah.
There will be a part 2 to this chapter, but not for a while. I want to right a few other chapters before we get to the really angsty stuff.
t0addd and Strawberrycheese (Love both those names) both got the reference in chapter 5 so if you both want to request a chapter I'll write those first =)
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
