A few days later, Raiden and his team went to training to train their endurance. While training, they heard an explosion near the Hokage's office. Anbu's black ops went to investigate the explosion, while investigating that there had been another explosion in the village. This explosion happened at the Feudal Lord's house, while this explosion shocked Anbu's covert operations, they went ahead and further investigated the explosions. They had entered the office of the Feudal Lord and the black ops wondered how an intruder could get into the village and reach the Feudal Lord's office without being detected. The Anbu black ops had no idea that all of the Feudal Lords had been killed. After this information spread throughout the village, Anbu's undercover officers returned to Raiden and reported the situation to him. Raiden himself had no idea as Urasaki and Togami shared the same expression while Sozuki stood and listened. With the village embattled, Raiden decided to lead his students to the front lines. Raiden himself ordered Urasaki and Togami to stay in the village and send the civilians to the village's security bunkers. Raiden then ordered Sozuki to accompany him in battle. The reason Raiden preferred Sozuki than Urasaki and Togami was because he knew he had more chakra and fighting abilities than either of them. Sozuki always felt dispassionate, but when the village was threatened, he reacted quickly. He's mood had changed. Raiden then ordered ANBU Black Ops to escort him and Sozuki to the outskirts of the village. While outside, he urged ANBU to spread out and find any evidence they could find that was part of the blast. Kunai were thrown at Raiden and Sozuki out of nowhere. Meanwhile, while both dodged the kunai, Sozuki then tried to locate the enemy; Flying Raijin. Raiden then teleported behind the enemy and slit their throats. After a few hours, ANBU returned to inform Raiden, saying there was no evidence and that no one was involved in the blast. Raiden then wondered that it was the oldest ANBU foundation in the village, Rhasino, the head of the ANBU foundation, (Root) and ANBU black ops are two different ANBU. ANBU's black ops are directed by the village's Hokage, Raiden. The ANBU Foundation is run by Rhasino, one of the village councilors of the Village Hidden in The Glaciers. Raiden then made his way to the Foundation and had a private chat with Rhasino. They talked about the death of the village feudal lords and the explosions in the village. Rhasino then denied everything Raiden had told him, but Raiden thought to himself that every time Raiden mentioned the explosions and the deaths of the feudal lords, Rhasino was being shady. Raiden then returned to the outskirts and told ANBU and Sozuki to return to the village. When Urasaki and Togami returned to the village, they saw Raiden and Sozuki walking back to the village, they noticed that Raiden had a paper bomb on his back. Then they yelled at Raiden about the paper bomb; Flying Raijin. Raiden then teleported away from the village and everyone else while the paper bomb on his back detonated. Raiden then hobbled back to the village two hours later with serious injuries. His students Sozuki, Togami, and Urasaki helped him reach the nearest hospital. The Hokage then ordered his covert ANBU black ops and told the Jonin to arrest Rhasino for being a traitor in the village. Rhasino was then sent to the interrogation force, where Subaki began extracting information from Rhasino using his physical and psychic abilities. Subaki can also subject people to great suffering without ever using physical torture. While Rhasino was being interrogated, Raiden was in the hospital bandaging the wounds from the paper bomb blast. While Urasaki, Togami and Sozuki trained and talked about the village and the future of the village. A week later, Raiden's injuries healed and he was discharged from the hospital, but doctors said after examining his body he was diagnosed with Bronchiectasis, a condition in which the lungs' airways become damaged, making it hard to clear mucus. In this state, Raiden can no longer breathe and fight like he used to, he can still fight but he is not the strongest shinobi in the village, besides his current predecessor for Hokage. After his diagnosis, he went into the interrogation force in order to execute Rhasino. After he executed Rhasino for treason, the city began to calm down; Flying Raijin. He then teleported to the training ground and told his students about his condition. When the village learned of Raiden's condition, the village instituted additional security around the village and the Hokage's office. While Raiden is in critical condition, two spies have infiltrated the village. Raiden sensed their presence and decided to let the ANBU black ops investigate. An hour later one of the Black Ops found a spy, the spy was from The Village Hidden in The Sand. Raiden then figured why a sand shinobi would come all the way to The Village Hidden in the Glaciers. He then confronted the Sand Shinobi and asked where his spy friend was. The Sand Shinobi then told Raiden that he just came alone to send the Hokage a private message from the Kazekage. Raiden then wondered who this other mysterious shinobi in the village was; Flying Raijin. Raiden teleported to Sozuki's chakra and told him about this mysterious unknown shinobi and challenged Sozuki to find him himself. Sozuki then began searching the village for this suspicious shinobi. Then Sozuki heard a scream in the distance and then ran to where he heard the sound. Sozuki then saw an ANBU Black Ops Shinobi from The Village Hidden in the Mist. Sozuki then reported the details to Raiden.
