Daniel talks openly to Killua about sex, a little too openly at times.

A\N: I planned to include something else… but I got derailed with this chapter, so now Daniel's gonna talk about butt stuff… enjoy.

As much as Killua wanted to have the conversation in the car, Daniel expected him to wait till they got back. Daniel wasn't sure how their conversation would go, whether he'd be shocked, or intrigued by the information.

When they got back, Daniel got to work removing all the tags off Killua's new clothes. As he snipped the tags off, he thought about the conversation, how is he exactly going to talk about everything taboo?

How does one, after doing so many times, open a dialogue with a species outside of your own so many times… and still manage to keep a straight face. Daniel's unsure, but he's pretty sure he's doing a good job at explaining this kind of stuff… hopefully.

There is still the problem of the language barrier and how certain things, carry different meanings between species.

Unfortunately, due to the context of the current topic, he'll be talking about, he'll probably be forced to explain the birds and the bees, in a human context to an alien, if life continues to throw him curveballs.

One of those curveballs was, Gon…

"Killua, this is by far… the most embarrassing thing I've ever had to talk to you about."

Killua shifted his gaze slightly, "I doubt it…"

"Nope… this will be the most embarrassing. Accidentally, seeing you naked… is a close second though. " Daniel quickly diverted his attention, "Maybe I shouldn't be bringing that up right now, given the context. Alright, how about this… I talk about human… mating rituals, then you talk about, Valiskarian, mating rituals…"

"That's simple, Aconaris, goes in the Aconaris…"

"No…" Daniel looked at the alien in disbelief, "No… it's gotta be more than that. No kinks?"

"Kinks…?"

Daniel brought a hand up to his face, mortified at his lack of ability to control to control himself. He just asked another species, if they have kinks. They barely know each other, three days in… and he's asking for kinks.

If he was dating Killua… this would be away to soon to be asking them if they have any kinks, he should be aware of.

If they have all the same type of genitals, except the master's goes in the slave's, effectively making it a species that main form of reproduction, specialises in docking… would he really, want to talk about what kind of kinks they have after that point?

Wanting to get away from where his mind is going, the man keeps the conversation going, trying to ignore what he just thought about "Let's just… carry on. Now, if Person A likes person B… we're adults here…" He looked his friend over, "I would hope?"

"Yes, it's someone who reaches the age of adulthood. It depends on where you are in the world… but it's usually eighteen and over. Please tell me your kind have something like this?"

"We do… we call it Caldatdis, which its translation would be the Age of Reproduction. Although, I suppose its more direct saying would be Age of Childbearing."

"And you call our concepts weird…" Daniel chuckled, Caldatdis, was such a weird saying since not everyone can reproduce at the same age… at least when it comes to humans. Although, for Killua's kind, they might be within the same age, seeing at it was reduced to a single word.

"How old are you…?"

"Twenty-five…" Daniel raised an eyebrow at the question, half expecting them to answer their own, question, instead what he got was a curious response. They made a noise as if they were trying to gauge an unknown question "How about you?"

"One-hundred and seventy-five."

"Damn…" Daniel gawked at his friend in surprise, "You're a g-dash-GILF… Maybe even a gg-dash-GILF"

Killua looked at his friend, "Another idiom…?"

"Sort of… it's an acronym. Basically, the initial letter of the words in the saying. GG would be Great, great, so one G equals one great, before the dash. So Great, Great Grandfather I'll like to… fuck."

Killua looked at the man, seriously complimenting whether he was once again… flirting with them, "You're giving me mixed signals, again."

"No, it's the actual saying… So, I'm not flirting. I'm just saying what you'll be considered. I won't deny you're attractive, from one gay man's perspective to another's…" The man paused for a second, trying to recall the term for the gender-neutral variation "What's the gender-neutral version? To another person's? Either way… the point I'm trying to make is you're one-hundred and seventy-five years old, you'll be a-"

"Not years… Cycles…"

"Cycles? What's that in years? You could be even older on this planet… How many days are in a cycle?"

"Twenty-six…"

"Twenty-six?! That'd make you… oh god… I'm gonna go to jail… you're twelve and a half in earth years."

"No… you must be off. How many days in a year?"

"Three-hundred and sixty-five. That works out to be… Roughly, fourteen Cycles equals one year here… fourteen into one-hundred and seventy-five, equals twelve and a half, years old. Even if you guys' age quickly, this looks really, bad on me. As I said, I'm Twenty-five, double that…"

Killua shook his head, still confused about Daniel's exaggerated response. Why were humans so fixated on what makes them an adult? Especially, when they definitely, looked the same age. His maths must be off for a reason, which is why he assumed they were twelve and a half.

Where they're from, if you can create a child… you're already an adult, in the eyes of the law. But the age is always the same with barely any variation between the years. It's almost impossible for someone under one-hundred and forty cycles to bear children. The average, someone who has a child, is at is between one-forty-seven and one-fifty-four.

The same could be said about those who are older… the oldest recorded to have a child was four-hundred and twenty cycles.

They didn't have the luxury of having one, not because Killua didn't want children… they just didn't want to have any, not while their parents still had control over their life. They were trying to escape, to reach neutral territory outside of their parent's grasp.

With their younger sibling, where it was less about living from day-to-day, it'll be about living for themselves. It was just unfortunate, that their eldest sibling had to fucken track them down… destroying that one chance of escape.

None of that would be important now… no while they're stuck on a primitive planet that has no form of space travel… at least from what they could discover.

Killua shifted their attention back to the main discussion, not wanting to bring up their life story to a human who has no chance of helping them reconnect with their sibling.

So, why was Daniel hyper fixated on this particular conversation… Did it have to do with what he said earlier? How he considered them attractive, but he also mentioned it had to do with opinions, and from the sound of things… opinions have variations. Daniel was clearly in the wrong here, at least when it came to their age…

Did adulthood play a huge part in what kind of conversation they were allowed with those who were considered younger than them? Or… was it something Daniel thought about, which they weren't aware of? "I… don't understand why you're acting this way? This is a normal type of conversation. Every species has a way to reproduce, otherwise, they would've died out years ago…" Killua stated in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Killua, I'm pretty sure I'm twice your age… I would be three-hundred and fifty cycles year old."

"No…" Killua looked at Daniel, staring them down, "You'd be wrong. Going by your genetic makeup, you have to be around my age. If you are that old in cycles, then you'd look good for your age."

"This is a serious problem Killua, have your kind got no qualms sleeping… having sex with children?"

"HOLD ON…" Killua waved the man off, "Now I finally get it. You've thought about having sex with me?"

"No… God no. Even if I thought about that, which I haven't." Killua will NOT be the exception, no matter what "Killua, if you are, in fact, underage, I would NEVER sleep with you. My main concern… is that my friend, WHOSE also my age just hit on you… now that's, my issue."

"Oh, then I can see that being a serious problem, if I was younger, from a human's perspective… at least for Gon, not so much you… seeing as you haven't suggested is not only attracted to me… but wanting to sleep with me, as Gon has."

But I thought you were attractive, now that's just… eww. I feel disgusted with myself.

While Daniel was internally panicking, Killua voiced their thought "You see… my problem is with your calculations. Your days feel shorter here… than where I'm from."

"Oh, then Gon might be out of the woods…" Also, my original thoughts would be absolved of their crimes "how many hours in a day?"

"Hours…?"

"Ah, shit… from the time it's dark, to the time it's light. How long does a day last?"

"Oh, in that case… forty-eight rotations?"

"Our days are in twenty-four hours… so two of our days, equals one of yours in that case?"

"No wonder it felt so short… your planet is so weird." Killua snorted in laughter. Of course, Daniel was wrong with his calculations, it's because their hours played a factor in the calculation. The relief Daniel expressed, made Killua feel at ease like a whole burden had been lifted "This is going to take some getting used to. Even though it was night, I didn't feel sleepy… hence why I stayed up reading the whole night on my first day here. It'll also explain why I felt tired during the second night here…"

Daniel sighed in relief, that he was the same age as Killua was. Though he supposes that the first night they stayed awake while he slept, was an issue of concern "So then, that'll make you our age… twenty-five…ish. Working out your birthday would be difficult from this, at least for my erratic brain right now. You gave me a scare…"

"What for…?" Killua now looked at the man, seriously contemplating the meaning behind his words. Why was Daniel scared? What was he hinting at? Was it for his friend, Gon's sake… or was there a hidden message they were yet to uncover?

"I…" Daniel looked away, frustrated with himself. He just came out of a break-up… three days in, and he has this gut-wrenching feeling about a completely different species. He feels like, the genuineness behind Killua's otherwise neutral dry tone, there's someone he wouldn't mind spending his life with.

But the guy he just broke up with, he also felt that way about them. He doesn't want to make the same mistake, twice… even if so far, Killua hasn't shown any signs, like, Yannick did… the ones he actively ignored. He needs, to get to know Killua better… to find out if the feeling he has for them, are ones he should be exploring "It's something I don't understand right now… but at least, my friend will be okay." He added, hoping that it would deflect the alien's attention.

"Is that so…"

The Alien's voice felt so distant like they didn't believe him at all. But… at least they didn't press him on the matter.

"You've trusted me for three days so far, so please continue to do so…"

"Oh, I trust you…" Killua stated with a dry, dull tone "It's just that I don't understand you. You're teaching me new concepts… things about humans, yet, with every new thing you teach me… the less I understand, well, you…"

It felt so hard for the man to get a read on his new friend. Their tone… lacked… well, a humanistic tone. It was like Killua had no empathy, which he knows isn't the case. They care, they genuinely cared about his safety when Margret took a swing at him.

Now that he thinks about it… Killua shares some similarities with Vastorie. No… that would be a disservice to Killua. At least they are trying to understand him… it's just he's failing to let them in.

"One day… I promise." Daniel admitted.

Killua hummed at the acknowledgment, eyes being directed to something else "So, are you going to explain what kinks and what these so-called mating rituals are?"

"Because humans are weird… I suppose I am weird to you, for sticking a dick in my mouth too. But it's a normal thing. As long as you wash it first… it shouldn't taste foul."

"I guess…" Killua hummed in acknowledgement, "Wait, so… Gon would try and fail, to fuck me in the ass… considering I don't have one."

"You smell fine to me…" Daniel unconsciously admitted, out loud… might he add to Killua.

"Thanks…" The alien looked at his friend in concern, "But what you smell, verse what I smell… are two different things."

"Y- Yeah…" Daniel turned away, embarrassed about the whole ordeal "you're right. Sorry for saying that."

Killua then leaned in closer, "But to you… do I smell fine?"

Daniel swallowed thickly, that sweet smell coming off Killua. It was making his body react. It was the same as the first night, that sickly sweet smell that made him hard, was there… close to his nose "Yeah, why…"

"No reason…" Then why does he keep putting the window down, if he likes the smell? They were about to press the question, but the way Daniel trembled, they thought otherwise "Alright, I'll still have a shower."

When Killua left, Daniel let out a breath of relief. He's scared… because honestly, after the conversation they had… he's seriously contemplating the idea of sleeping with Killua. As a one-night stand… possibly a reoccurring fling.

They both need a release, him now more than ever… after the messy break-up, he went through. He wants to feel an emotional connection with someone. Killua could be that someone, if, they continue to make him feel this way…

With every little bit more he discovers about Killua, the more he begins to desire it. He's never felt that way so soon with someone, so it's throwing his emotions through a loop. His mind, however, still has one more hurdle to overcome, and that's to find out one thing… what if he makes a mistake?

What if…

Daniel looked in the direction of the shower.

What if, he falls in love?

Will Killua feel the same way about him/ Is it possible Valiskarians and humans, can develop a relationship that can work? Or all of this is nothing more… than wishful thinking.
