Daniel takes Killua to meet the group, joining a game of Dungeons and Dragons. They have questions… and Killua has some of their own.
Killua blew out a puff of hot air, the coldness of the biting night circling it, cooling it before it could touch Daniel's face. The man wrapped the scarf around his friend's neck better, fingers lingering in the cold, savouring small touches.
Even now… he wanted to call in sick, to be there for Killua. Not because he didn't trust his friend to accidentally reveal they're an alien. It's because he wanted to be there with them… to have fun.
He wanted to see how they react, to even offer guidance when he can.
With a smile, Daniel threaded his fingers through Killua's hair, trying to act as natural as possible… He was acting as though he was trying to move the scarf to a better position, and not be touching the alien's hair.
Too bad he was caught "Why are you touching my hair?"
"Accidental…" He adjusted his fingertips, lightly tapping the sides of the scarf. He wanted to be seen like he was trying to fluff up a pillow. Removing his hands, he spoke with a smile "I want you to have fun in there… but remember."
"Keep my origins a secret…"
"Well, yes… But, no… if at any point you feel uncomfortable, let me know by giving me a call. No matter the time, I will come to pick you up. I care about you…"
"You have a weird way of showing it…" When Daniel raised an eyebrow, Killua gestured to their scarf. They didn't feel cold, but Daniel did. If anything, the scarf made them feel only slightly warmer… whereas the scarf for their friend, made him at least feel warm. With a finger, they lightly poked their friend "The scarf does more for you than it does for me."
"You don't feel cold?"
"No, I don't feel as cold. At least… as much as you do."
"Noted."
"Well, you can still keep it…" Daniel fluffed up the alien's jacket, "So you feel warm… which is good. You look way better dressed than I am, even though you've been here for only a few weeks. Very stylish…"
The man removed his hand "I'm jealous of your ability to throw together a coordinated outfit. I might after to ask you to dress me one day." He blushed because now he was thinking Killua was the one that undress him in the first place, "I mean… look at my wardrobe and throw together something that doesn't look like I'm about to go on a business trip."
"I'll have a look…"
The man's expression softened.
There it is again… that look. Why? The man was looking into their eyes with an unknown expression. What did it mean? They so badly wanted to ask, to press him on the reasoning for the look. But then he started to lean forward.
Killua felt something flip in their gut. A giddy feeling. Is he…
At the last second, he pulled Killua in, hugging them tightly as he whispered into their ear "Just in case, do you remember anything I said?"
The feeling passed. They were disappointed in the situation, but their otherwise neutral expression kept their feelings hidden. It looked like Daniel was about to kiss them. At least, that's what they thought.
Killua gave a nod, "I know the basic rules… but more importantly. If they question my lack of knowledge about the game, I had very conservative parents." Killua could smell something off about the man. It was a distinct scent they couldn't exactly put their finger on… but it was there… discreet.
They were about to ask about it, but Daniel chuckled, "Sure, you could word it that way. It can also be used to help clarify why you identify as Gender Neutral. It'll also help get them off your back if they try to press you for your background."
"I understand…"
"You're not uncultured as they might think… you'll get into the swing of things once you've gotten used to it." Without warning, Daniel pulled back. He kissed the alien on the forehead. He realised a second too late, pulling back onto to turn into a sputtering mess "I- I'm sorry for- for doing that."
"It's fine…" Killua cracked into a small smile, a hand now touching their forehead. That was a kiss… it felt amazing "I appreciate the gesture. Was that-"
As the door opened, someone peered out "Oh, Daniel… I was wondering if you were going to stay out there or come in."
Daniel pulled back, not quick enough to push Killua away, but to seem as natural as possible "Yeah, sorry I won't be staying."
"It's cool…" The other man jogged down the step, coming closer to the two.
Killua didn't recognise this person. They had a soft smile, a sense of calmness around their figure "I promise to look after him, wait…" The man pointed a finger at Killua "Them?"
"Them, Killua…" They offered a hand, the person shaking their's.
"Iason… Iason Paladiknight."
"Ah, so you're the infamous Iason."
The man raised an eyebrow "Nothing infringing, I hope?"
"Nothing but good news…" Daniel clarified, "Told him a lot about you."
"As did Gon, about Killua… it would seem. I agree with his findings, but not his tactics. Hopefully, it didn't make you feel uncomfortable." He placed a hand on Killua's shoulder, "He has a bad tendency to think with his dick first, then brains later."
"So, I hear…" Killua's expression shifted to a neutral one. They looked to Daniel, "He said the same thing, actually…"
Iason smiled at Daniel, "I think we need to have a talk with him about… asking random people out. He needs to learn the art of sliding into DMs."
Killua was about to mention something, but Daniel quickly shook his head, "What he actually, needs, is to get to know someone before hitting on them. Poor Killua wasn't prepared."
"Well, if it's any comforting…" The alien answered, "it was shocking to be approached out of nowhere, but he is quite attractive."
"I'll make sure to pass on the message." Iason was happy to hear this was the one-time Gon's little, big head didn't get him into trouble. Although, it seems like he needs to tone it down a little. Sure, he makes sure to update all parties… letting both of his partners know when or if he's going out for a one-night stand. But he wonders what has changed?
Sure, Killua is extremely attractive… but when it comes to extremely attractive people, even he was tactful when approaching them. Killua must have been the one exception to his rule… the one that took him by surprise.
Still, he'll need to talk to his partner about this "So, shall we head inside?"
Killua gave a nod, Iason ushering him inside.
"Hey, can I borrow you for one second Iason?"
"Certainly…" The man pointed at the door, "Just head inside, take the door to your right. Head down the hall… it'll be the first room on your left."
When Killua left, Iason turned to Daniel "Is everything okay?"
"It is… I just wanted to make sure they'll be okay. It's their first time playing DnD… but it's also their first time being amongst a group of different personalities. They were sheltered as a child so they're going to have weird-"
"Daniel, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine I'm just worried about Killua…"
"I understand… but I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the break-up… are you sure you want to go back into date-"
"Killua and I aren't dating. I'm just looking after them until they get back on their feet. What makes you think we're dating?"
"I suppose you're right… Gon must have read into the situation too much."
"What did he say, exactly…?"
"You looked happy…"
Daniel smiled weakly, "I still feel like shit."
"Well, I'm glad Killua is helping keep you distracted, but you still need to think about your health."
Daniel raised an eyebrow, looking at their friend with a curious gaze "Are you using my own, job against me?"
"We're all worried because we know how much the relationship meant to you. Remember to take some time off for yourself."
"I promise…"
"Good, now I better get in there before poor Killua gets overloaded by everyone asking them questions."
"Well, they've already met Ikalgo. Meleoron and Knuckle are the ones I'll be worried about. Speaking of which, how many pets do you have in your house right now…" Iason sighed, "He brought four dogs."
Oh god, seeing as Killua kinda looks like a cat… I wonder how dogs will react to them "I might come in just in case."
"Is Killua not a dog person?"
"I think they're more of a cat person…"
"~"
Daniel was relieved to see Killua scratching under one of the dog's chins, the smiling bundle of floof happily panting in the poor alien's face. He was just relieved to see they weren't barking or growling "Hey everyone…"
"Oh, look who crawled out of their den to greet us…" Meleoron spoke with a cool tone, casually taking a small puff of their joint.
"Just checking that none of you is bombarding my friend with thousands of questions." He quickly gestured to Ikalgo, motioning that he has his eyes on him. Ikalgo pouted "I promise…"
"Promise what?" Knuckle asked, poor Shoot left to wave off some of the smoke clouds in his face.
"Don't worry about me Daniel, I'll be fine…"
Daniel gave a nod, "Good, remember I'm only one phone call away."
"Yes, yes…" Knuckle started pushing Daniel out of the room "You should get going, so we can actually, play a game by the end of the night."
"Alright, alright…" Daniel chuckled as Knuckle lead him to the door.
When they were out of reach, Knuckle approached the topic "How did you land that guy? Seriously, he's an eleven on the hotness scale!"
"Is everyone around me gay?" Daniel asked shocked.
"I'm Bi, but more importantly I already have a partner… I thought I told you about Shoot and I?"
Daniel was shocked, "Since when?"
"About two months now… I thought I told you?"
"Dude, what they say about LGBT people is true… we do flock to each other like magnets."
Pressing his knuckles into his hips, the man frowned "Jeez… seriously. We promise to look after Killua. Take the night off, relax and have a fine wine or whatever you drink to relax."
"I rather watch Netflix… without the chill."
The man gave a hearty laugh, a quick slap on the man's back catching him off guard. Daniel shook his head before turning to Knuckle "I'll relax… I promise."
"~"
When Knuckle returned, Killua stood up, taking the one seat that wasn't already claimed. It was also, the spot right next to Ikalgo. It was going to be an interesting night. Having seated down, Iason sat at his seat "So how much exactly do you know?"
"Learned the basics… Daniel mentioned you'll be able to help me roll a character."
Meleoron groaned, "A newbie… oh no…"
"Oh shush, you're not the DM tonight so you can chill."
The man pouted, Iason now redirecting his attention back to Killua "Let's start easy first… point out who everyone is."
Meleoron stuck up his hand "Ranger… Half-elf. Meiphanis the hidden sharpshooter."
Knuckle raised his hand "Korarall the Barbarian, Half-Orc. Shoot is an Elf Monk."
"Sarmenor Swiftfoot…" Shoot quietly uttered, gaze unable to meet Killua.
"Me next!" Ikalgo stuck up his hand "Irilrig Brighthammer a Cleric Dwarf…"
"When I'm not DM, I normally play a Gnome Wizard Ianzu Flukegem. That's to give you an idea of characters and names. You don't have to balance out the group, I'll be weaving a story around your choice, anyways. To give you the McGuffin."
"McGuffin…?"
"The plot point…" Meleoron let out a small chuckle, "The question is what kind? Plot Armor?"
"None of that sort… and no spoilers, not until Killua has a character, so… what would you prefer? I'd like to know what kind of-"
"Tiefling Rogue… specifically, with an assassin background."
"That was uh… quick."
"Daniel explained about the game, stating races and classes… I think I'd want to go with that."
Iason shrugged, "Sounds good to me… I'll help spin up a character sheet for you." The man pulled out a thick book, a notepad and some dice, "Let's get started…" sifting through the pages, made his first step through the Races, stopping at Tiefling "Let's see what we have for starting gear…"
With his fingers gliding across the sentences, he made a few notes, unconsciously murmuring about the finer details "Male names… Virtue Names… Uh, ha… Tiefling Traits. There are a few we'll need to worry about. Ability score bonuses. Intelligence plus one… Charisma plus two. Age, same as humans… they just live longer. Size medium. Same height as humans. Speed basic thirty. You have Darkvision, Hellish Resistance to… fire. Infernal Legacy… which comes in at… 3rd level. Can cast rebuke spell once per day as 2nd level spell. You also get Darkness at level five. That's also a once per day. Charisma is required. That sounds easy enough."
"You're bombarding me with a lot…"
"Oh, I'll explain everything, I'm just getting the gist of your character set-up. Now, where was… Languages Common and Infernal. Now onto the classes…" Iason flipped through the pages "Where is Rogue… found it."
The man proceeded to go through the pages, stopping at the Proficiency bonus. He highly doubt Killua would get that far this night, so he jotted the notes down up to the fifth level. For now, he wrote the first level skills "First level… plus two to Proficiency, you also get Expertise, Sneak Attack and Thieves' Cant. The third level, ah… the Roguish Archetype which you already chose… was Assassin. Oh, now for the fun mathematical stuff. Hit Dice 1d8 per level. Hit Points eight plus Constitution modifier. Hit points at higher levels 1d8 or plus five if a lower roll + Constitution modifier. Armour is Light Armour. Weapons we can use… Simple weapons, Hand Crossbows, Longsword, Rapiers or short sword."
Killua was listening to the words, strangely understanding some of the terms due to their relevance to their species. While the words weren't exactly, the same, they knew what could be counted as Light Armour, their suit would fall under the category.
It was light on their frame, not at all like some of the heavy armours they would see others wear. It was designed for more subterfuge missions, the kind that doesn't require clanking footwork. They needed to be silent and quick…
In and out…
"What else do we have… We have a bonus on Saving Throws for Dexterity and Intelligence. You also get to choose four bonus stats from… Acrobatics, Athletics, Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Investigation, Perception, Performance-"
Two of the members snickered, Killua now raising an eyebrow. Iason turned to the two, giving Knuckle and Meleoron a serious look. Shoot smacked his partner's arm, the man gawked in surprise "What, it's funny…"
"Out of context, sure…" Iason hummed, "or if I ask you to roll a Performance check… maybe you'll get a one."
"Boo…that's a low blow for you."
"Me or to your moral…"
Knuckle laughed, "such a cheap hit. But you get that round…"
"That'll be your only round…" Ikalgo pointed out, the man's surprised expression causing him to burst into laughter.
The others joined in the laughter, Iason now being the only one working while Killua was the last remaining one to not laugh. They didn't get the joke.
They wanted to say I don't get it… because honestly, they didn't know what they were talking about. Daniel would've explained it to them. But the guy wasn't here.
"Come on, that was a funny jab." Ikalgo lightly smacked Killua's arm.
The alien frowned at the guy, "I don't get it…"
The others stopped laughing, now looking at Killua in shock. Meleoron broached the topic "You don't get dirty jokes?"
"Dirty jokes…" The alien paused, now realising what they were joking about. There must be a specific saying about this, some kind of idiom they were yet to learn. But now they get it by looking at the hidden meaning through a sexual lens. They blushed, mainly due to the embarrassment of not thinking that humans could make such types of jokes "It didn't occur to me… I was raised under a conservative household."
"Oh man, that sucks for you…" Knuckle felt sorry for Killua, "But at least you live with someone like Daniel. He'll give you so much freedom…"
"He does…" Killua confirmed.
"How did you even meet the guy?"
"Childhood, in primary school. We had a brief friendship before my family relocated to Padokea."
"Did they do that because of Daniel's parents?"
"One of the reasons…" Killua casually muttered, not realising they now set themselves up to add more to a false story.
"The others…?"
"Oh, right… my… father had a new job. A…" Killua rolled their wrist "I guess a business-related job. He works as a contractor for army-based stuff. I rather not get involved."
"Colour me intrigued…" Meleoron leaned forward "What does he do, exactly?"
Ikalgo stepped in, "Hey, don't push too hard on them. If they wanted to say why they left, they would've stated so rather than leaving it open-ended."
"You're not curious as well?"
"Sure, but I made a promise to Daniel, and I plan to keep it."
The man let out a huff in annoyance.
Iason stepped in, "I'm sure all of us have something they don't want to talk about. If Killua wants to tell us, they can tell us. Otherwise, I'm done with my notes. Would you rather continue the topic, or create your character…?"
"I'll go with my character… I rather not talk about my parents. I left for a reason… I don't plan on going back." Not that I can…
"Sounds cool with us, isn't that, right?" Knuckle smacked Meleoron's arm. The dude huffed once more in annoyance, blowing out a small puff of smoke due to their joint. Yellow eyes met blue ones for a second, "Sounds fine to me."
"Good…" Iason turned to Killua "So there are a few steps to go. So first, we're going to need to name your character… we usually use the first letter of our name in the process, but you're fine to make up your own, name. I can give you a few examples if you like?"
"Sure…"
"Male or female… there's really no gender-neutral, or nonbinary, in your case name options, sorry."
"That's fine… We'll go male names."
"We have…" Iason flipped back several pages "Kairon, Akmenos, Barakas, Damakos, Ekemon, Iados, Morthos, Pelaios, Skamos and Therai… for example."
"I see a theme…" Killua thought about it, "Kairakas… K-A-I-R-A-K-A-S." The alien spelt it out for the man.
Iason wrote it down, "Level one… Rogue… speed thirty… proficiency bonus plus two. Let us see, Age?"
"Mine or my characters?"
"Characters… they're similar to humans."
"Twenty-one then…"
"That's good… Size medium, we'll say about your height… six foot two. Languages are Common and Infernal. If you run across texts or those who speak those languages, it doesn't sound like gibberish to you. Alright, here you go…" He handed the other a 1d20 dice, "We'll do a couple of rolls, about six. We're gonna figure out your stats. Wait for me to write down the numbers, please. Since you're new, I'll sort out the stats, unless… anything you need me to explain before I continue?"
"Proficiency bonus, what's it for exactly?"
"I'll have to worry about it, but basically, it goes towards skill checks, saving throws or attacks you're proficient in. An example would be Dexterity and Intelligence saving throws, also rogue-related skills, which we'll do towards the end."
"Sounds good…" Killua rolled the first dice. It landed on twenty "Starting off strong I see… unless, Daniel didn't teach you his rolling trick?"
Killua raised an eyebrow "Rolling trick?"
"He can roll perfect numbers… due to a cheat one of his fathers' taught him."
Killua shook their head "He never taught me that."
"Alright… again?"
Killua rolled again, getting a twelve.
"Alright…" Killua continued to roll four more times, Iason jotting down the numbers.
Twenty, twelve, eleven, fourteen, sixteen and a ten. Rough rolls… "Okay, I think I've got it. Strength twelve, Dexterity twenty, Constitution sixteen, Intelligence eleven, Wisdom ten and Charisma fourteen. I feel like you're gonna need Charisma more than Strength, due to the skills and race."
"Sounds good to me…"
"Now you get some skills at the start Darkvision and Hellish Resistance. Want me to explain it?"
"Sure…"
"Darkvision, once per day you can see dim light as a bright light up to sixty feet. It comes in as shades of grey though. So, you might not be able to tell the difference between a character like Knuckle's if he were standing next to another Half-Orc that looked similar to him."
"I understand, the other?"
"You're immune to fire. Though, don't expect to be walking through lava."
Killua chuckled "Of course."
"Oh, forgot to include the bonus stats. So, you have twelve Intelligence and sixteen Charisma… or would you prefer fourteen Strength and Charisma?"
"Go with the sixteen Charisma."
"Awesome…" Iason fixed the two stats, "Now for the modifier stats in their respective order Strength plus one, Dexterity plus five, Constitution plus three, Intelligence plus one, Wisdom plus zero and Charisma plus three. These go towards your respective rolls in those categories. Next on the list… we have these three features unlocked Expertise, Sneak Attack and Thieves' Cant. Any I need to explain?"
"Sneak attack is pretty self-explanatory, what's Expertise and Thieves' Cant?"
"For Expertise you get… to choose two skill proficiencies, or, you can get one skill proficiency as well as a proficiency in thieves' tools. When doing a check, your proficiency bonus doubles for those specific choices. You can choose from the list of… Acrobatics, Animal Herding, Arcana, Athletics, Deception, History, Insight, Intimidation, Investigation, Medicine, Nature, Perception, Performance-" Iason shot Knuckle a quick look, before turning back to Killua "Persuasion, Religion, Sleight of Hand, Stealth and Survival. I can further explain about them… Although given your stat choices, I'd say Acrobatics, Deception, Intimidation, Performance, Persuasion, Sleight of Hand and Stealth will be the ones more beneficial to you, given your high Dexterity and Charisma."
"I have a feeling I know what Deception and Intimidation will involve, but can you give me an explanation for the ones you think best suited for me, except for Sleight of Hand and Stealth."
"Certainly…" Iason flipped through the pages "Okay, here we go Acrobatics is your ability to stay on your feet during tricky situations. For things like running across ice, balancing on a tightrope, etc. Oh, says I can use it for stunts, like dives, rolls, somersaults and flips… interesting. Anyways, just a key point for Sleight of Hand it also includes planting incriminating objects or concealing something, not just robbery. Now for Deception, it's where you can convincingly hide the truth verbally or through your actions. If Daniel had a choice, he'd always picked it because he'd use it for gambling reasons. Intimidation involves threatening someone. Performance nothing to do with sex, Knuckle…"
"I knew that…" The man awkwardly rubbed the side of his neck.
"Performance is your ability to entertain an audience… which now that I think about it, is not good for your class. More for a bard."
"One less to choose from I guess…"
Iason gave a nod before continuing "And finally, Persuasion… your ability to influence someone or a group of people with tact, social graces or good nature. Comes in handy considering you're a Tiefling who notoriously gets ostracized in games. Which one will you choose?"
"I'll pick the two choices Acrobatics and… Sleight of Hand. Sounds like it'll come in handy."
Iason snorted at the accidental pun "Handy… alright, I'm putting those down. Now for Thieves' Cant. It's a secret dialect, jargon, and, or code that allows you to hide messages in a normal conversation. For example, rather than outright saying the loot is hidden in the barrel you'd say something along the lines of; people say, that it's better to drink your fill for the best flavours tends to settle at the bottom of a barrel."
Killua gave a nod "Easy enough. What else is there?"
"Hit Points, which is… You have eight plus three… so your starting health is… eleven. You have your basic talents in Light Armour, Simple weapons, Hand Crossbows, Longsword, Rapiers and Short Swords. You also have a bonus for saving throws for Dexterity and Intelligence. Now choose four from Acrobatics, Athletics, Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Investigation, Perception, Performance, Persuasion, Sleight of Hand and Stealth."
"What's Athletics, Insight, Investigation and Perception?"
"Athletics is difficult situations while climbing, jumping or swimming. Insight is to check to intentions of a creature, lie or predict its next move. Investigation is looking around for clues, and to make deductions based on those clues. Finding hidden objects, noticing a trap recognising what would cause a wound… etc. Perception is detecting the presence of something. Things in your surroundings, general awareness."
"Then… Acrobatics, Athletics, Insight and Investigation."
Iason marked them down "Okay, now we have some choices to make. It's for equipment. First up, Rapier or Short Sword?"
"Short Sword."
"Short Bow plus arrows or Short Sword?"
"Another Short Sword."
"Okay… we have Burglar's Pack, Dungeoneer's Pack or Explorer's Pack. I'll explain what's in each. By the way, all packs include a backpack, fifty feet of Hempen rope and a water skin, which is used to hold drinking water. Burglar's pack has sixteen GP, currency. A thousand ball bearings, ten feet of string, a bell, five candles, a crowbar, a hammer, ten pitons, a hooded lantern, two flasks of oil, five days of rations, and a tinderbox. Dungeoneer's pack has twelve GP. A crowbar, a hammer, ten pitons, ten torches, a tinderbox, and ten days of rations. Explorer's pack has ten GP. A bedroll, a mess kit, a tinderbox, ten torches, and ten days of rations."
"Explorer's pack…"
"Okay, you also start with Leather armour, two daggers and thieves' tools. Now we're in the home stretch. Background, Armour Class, Personality, Ideals, Bonds and Flaws. We'll do the background first. We have choices, which will grant some extra loot. Your choices are… Acolyte, Charlatan, Criminal, Entertainer, Folk Hero, Guild Artisan, Hermit, Noble, Outlander, Sage, Sailor, Soldier and Urchin. Any you'd like explained…?"
"I'll go Criminal, it's the most fitting."
"You have a skill a bonus proficiency in Deception and Stealth. You get Tool Proficiencies in one Gaming set and Thieves' tools. Bonus equipment which includes a Crowbar, dark common clothes with a hood, and a belt pouch with fifteen GP bumping you up to twenty-five."
"Gaming set?"
"Ah…" Iason kept his finger on the page, flipping through the pages to find out the gaming sets "Dice, Dragon Chess, a pair of Playing Cards or the Three-Dragon Ante set, which is an in-game world one."
"Go Playing cards…"
"While I'm here… Thieves tools include, which will be doubled. Two small files, two sets of lock picks, two small mirrors mounted on a metal handle, for looking around corners… two sets of narrow-bladed scissors and two pairs of pliers."
"We have a Criminal Specialty, I think you know what you're gonna choose but the choices are Blackmailer, Burglar, Enforcer, Fence, Highway Robber, Hired Killer, Pickpocket and Smuggler."
"Hired Killer…"
"Thought so, it made the most sense. Your armour class is eleven plus five. So, sixteen. Now roll a 1d6 for the last four Personality, Ideals, Bonds and Flaws."
Killua rolled the first time "Two."
"You are calm, no matter what the situation. You never raise your voice or let your emotions control you. Again."
"Two."
"Chains are meant to be broken, as those who would forge them. Again."
Killua started to feel uncomfortable about their rolls, but they did so anyway "Three."
"Something important was taken from you, and you aim to steal it back. Again."
Ominous… but true. "Five…"
"You turn tail and run when things look bad. And we're done… any questions."
Killua shook their head, not wanting to dwell on their unconscious rolls, that accidentally reveal hidden truths the others are unaware of. Maybe they should bring it up with Daniel, and see what he says.
"Okay guys, now let's get started. I call this story, The Forgotten Lands of Forged History…" With the lights dimmed, and music now playing calmly in the background, Iason opened a small journal "Let's begin."
A\N: At first, I was going to make Iason say the Personality, Ideals, Bonds and Flaws as choices, but I thought it'll be more humorous if Killua accidentally rolls their situation.
