The ragtag band of Strawhats, marines and giant children spilled into the open air to absolute chaos.
Two hovering figures flitted back and forth through the blizzard, peppering Caesar's waiting ship with gunfire all while shrieking in alarm at the winged women circling above them like vultures, waiting for prey.
At the center of all of it were Franky and Robin. Too wary of the Gas-Gas fruit user's poisonous powers to touch him, Robin was using her powers to hold Caesar down with what appeared to be a guitar. Meanwhile, Franky, having the time of his life in his mecha robot, was shooting at the horde of harpies swooping above the entire scene.
"Should we be helping?" Leo wondered aloud.
"HELL YEAH!" Nami and Usopp cheered.
Nami pointed with her climatact at two figures flying out of the flock away from the island, "They're wounded and fleeing. I feel like attacking now!"
"Same here!" Usopp agreed vigorously, "So Zoro, you better not steal Captain Usopp's glory!"
A green, angry, petulant head popped out from behind Sind, "I wasn't gonna! Just hurry up!"
Grow Up!
Go! Weather Egg!
"Oi…why are we firing at them?" Annabeth muttered, gesturing at Robin, "We already have Caesar."
Leo shushed her, "This is getting good!"
Luffy was the only one cheering as Nami and Usopp, with Franky's help, brought the two flying figures back to earth in a hail of harpy dust. But just as Franky was moving in to secure their hostages, the larger one scooped up the woman and shot off into the sky again.
"Baby!" he wailed until he was too far away for the Strawhats to hear.
"Idiots," Caesar sobbed, "You were supposed to rescue me!"
"That's enough of that," said Robin, and she thwacked the Gas-Gas user over the head with the guitar, knocking the man out cold.
"Ow! You didn't break my guitar, did you?"
"I'll get you a new one," Robin dismissed Franky before turning to Luffy, "So, Captain, now what?"
Nami and Annabeth both opened their mouths to make suggestions but before they could, Luffy leapt to his feet.
"WE PARTY!"

"Black Leg Bro! More stew please!"
"Is it really ok for us to party with you…?" Sanji grumbled while serving the marines anyway. One of them slung an arm around Sanji's shoulder.
"Who cares?" he shouted jovially, "More stew!"
"It's called sake," Zoro told Leo eagerly, pushing a cup into the fire-user's grimy hands, "C'mon, drink with us!"
"Yeah!" Nami brandished the bottle in Leo's face, "Be a man!"
Leo eyed the cup curiously, "I guess one cup couldn't hurt…"
He brought the cup to his lips, and promptly fell backwards in surprise as a disembodied hand emerged from the snow to smack the cup out of his hands. Zoro and Nami didn't seem to care; they'd already refocused their attention to the bottle cradled lovingly in Nami's arms.
"So you're Momonosuke," said Annabeth, "I'm glad I finally got to meet you. Your dad's been looking everywhere for you."
The little naked boy in Kin'emon's lap gasped and flung himself at Annabeth, "Thank you for helping him!"
Annabeth side stepped swiftly, allowing the child to bury himself in a snow bank, "Put some clothes on, then I'll think about it."
Everyone burst out laughing. Even Percy cracked a smile.
"Ne, Percy-nii," Mocha said cautiously, "Are you ok now? You were all shaky and waily earlier…"
Percy had the decency (in his mind, anyway) to look embarrassed, and he apologized softly to Mocha for scaring her.
"I'm just glad you're ok," he told the girl, "So the marines are taking you guys home now?"
"Yeah!" Mocha and Sid cheered.
"Not exactly, Earthshaker bro," said another marine, "They're going to get medical treatment to get them back to normal size. Then they'll see their parents."
"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?"
"That's very kind of you, Usopp-san," Brownbeard told the strawhat as he generously allowed Usopp to load cargo onto his back for transport to the Sunny, "But my friends are here and Punk Hazard has become our home. We can't leave it."
Usopp frowned, "Are you sure you're not just saying that because of…well, you know?"
"Our legs?" Brownbeard said bluntly, "A month ago, I would've said yes to that. But meeting you kids has shown me that the world is a more accepting place than I remember it being. We'll be alright, Usopp," he patted the sharpshooter on the back. This sent the much smaller man flying into a nearby snowbank.
"Ooops! Sorry 'bout that."
"KNOW YOUR OWN STRENGTH, TEME!"
"Hey, Tashigi."
"Leo," Tashigi greeted the strange boy who'd come over to join her by her solitary perch on a boulder overlooking the festivities, "Come and sit."
"I'm ok, thanks," he said politely, "I'm not great at sitting still."
The two existed in comfortable silence for a bit. Tashigi watched Leo draw patterns in the snow with his foot, until a particular drawing caught Tashigi's attention.
"Is that the dragon from before?"
Leo's eyes flickered. "Yeah," he lied. Tashigi could tell he didn't want to talk about it, so she dropped the subject.
"Look, I'm still kinda new to the whole 'pirate' thing. Is this the part where you try to capture us and we escape?"
Tashigi stifled a surprised laugh, "Excuse me?"
Not helping the situation in the slightest, Luffy popped up from behind Leo like a meerkat.
"Psst, Leo!" he whispered loudly, mere inches away from Tashigi's face, "We're escaping!"
Leo smacked Luffy good-naturedly, only recoiling slightly at the way his skin jiggled under Leo's touch, "Idiot. She's gonna get us now!"
Tashigi blinked and scanned the area. Sure enough, the Strawhats were sprinting towards their ship, Tashigi's men trying valiantly to catch up to them, but failing spectacularly. The children were tearfully cheering them on from the deck of G-5's ship.
"Goodbye!"
"Thank you for everything!"
"Guess this is goodbye for now," Leo winked, "Later, Tashigi."
Tashigi had half a mind to grab him, but after all the Strawhats had done to help her men and those children…
Ah well, Smoker wasn't watching; what he didn't know wouldn't hurt him.
