Fox creek: Chapter 5

Hiruzen was waiting anxiously inside his office, no more than 30 minutes ago he was informed that Kakashi returned from his mission successfully. However, that wasn't the reason he was anxious; Izumo the gate guard bursted into the Hokage's office to inform him that his long lost grandson in all but blood Naruto has finally been found. After searching for many years, he has finally returned to his proper home. Hiruzen was quickly brought out of his thoughts as Kakashi, a small boy carrying a large backpack and a blonde boy wearing a blood stained orange shirt and a worn cowboy hat entered the room and stood infront of the old man. Hiruzen was stunned as he took in the look of Naruto; he was no longer the skinny short boy he was when he disappeared as he now stood at a average height for someone his age and he was more stocky with muscle as his arms and shoulder showed that he was use to heavy lifting and hard labor.

Naruto seeing the sight of his grandfather figure after being away from the village for so many years gave his trademark foxy grin and said the words Hiruzen has missed so much "hey old man been a while". As soon as the words left his mouth he was immediately hugged by the old man; Naruto was caught off guard by the speed but quickly returned the hug. "Naruto, my boy I missed you so much. I'm sorry I didn't protect you well enough" said the ageing hokage to which Naruto only chuckled. "It's ok old man it all turned out for the best" said Naruto which made Kakashi shiver something Hiruzen didn't miss. "Who is this little fella" said Hiruzen looking at the boy who seemed to be struggling to carry the backpack. "I'm Ranmaru" said the boy "I'm Naruto's slave until I pay off my debt to him". Hiruzen looked to Naruto in confusion "Him and his gang of asshole were responsible for blowing up my wagon and killing 2 good friends of mine" said Naruto with a tone of finality "if he's lucky and works hard enough the debt will be settled in 5 to 6 years. By the way you can put my pack down we're gonna be here for a while. Ranmaru without hesitation placed the bag on the ground and sat down on the nearby couch.

Hiruzen willing to let the incident slide summoned a cat masked anbu "Cat; take Naruto and young Ranmaru to the anbu medics. I want both of them checked for anything out of the ordinary" Hiruzen said to which the female anbu nodded. "go with her boys; I'd like to debrief Kakashi then afterwards ill take you both out to Ichiraku's" Hiruzen said and to which Naruto beamed as he hasn't been to his favorite eating establishment in four years. As Cat, Naruto and Ranmaru left the room Hiruzen looked at Kakashi with serious gaze "Kakashi what's wrong? You seem to be disturbed by something" said Hiruzen to which Kakashi began to speak before he was interrupted by someone entering the room, Danzo Shimura, Hiruzens old teammate and leader of Root. "I Know why he's disturbed Hiruzen" said Danzo in a worred tone that put Hiruzen pn edge as he only heard Danzo speak in that tone once before, when the 2 men were about to fight the 2 tail Jinjuriki by themselves over 40 years ago "you just let a monster in human skin into the village". Danzo then looked at Kakashi "tell him everything that happened just before you entered the village" he said to which Kakashi got a look of uneasiness. "It was about 30 minutes before we reached the front gate" Kakashi began.

Flashback:

Naruto, Kakashi and Ranmaru were walking down the road to Konoha; as Kakashi and Ranamru were talking about their pasts Naruto stopped and looked to the east as he sensed something in the forest that surround the road. "Kakashi follow me, Ranmaru wait here and take 5" said Naruto as he motioned Kakashi to follow him which the one-eyed man did. As Naruto led Kakashi through the woods for a few minutes they stopped when they found what Naruto sensed; 3 sound shinobi and a leaf shinobi. Kakashi immediately recognized the leaf shinobi as one of the academies chunin instructors Mizuki. "Hey Kakashi I'm no expert but the sound and leaf don't have a alliance do they" asked Naruto. "No we don't. Looks like we just found a spy meet up" said Kakashi. Naruto then smiled and looked at Kakashi with a wicked smile that would give Anko a run for her money "well let's capture those cunts and have a little chat" to which Kakashi nodded as that was standard procedure. "Ok here's how we do this you use that crossbow to cripple 2 of them then we both charge the last 2 and take them down before they know what hit them" said Kakashi to which Naruto nodded and readied his crossbow. Naruto aimed carefully he had to time it perfectly or the plan goes to shit.

Emptying his lungs Naruto fired his 2 bolts the first bolt went through the first sound ninja's knee causing it to break and shatter, the second bolt also found it's mark as the bolt went through the mans stomach pinning him to the tree he was leaning on. Kakashi then burst out of the tree's with great speed delivering a kick to Mizuki's head while at the same time Naruto snuck up from behind the last sound shinobi hitting him with the butt of his crossbow causing the man to fall to the ground unconscious. Kakashi picking up the unconscious Mizuki looked to Naruto "tie those three up and see what kind of info you can get off them" to which Naruto nodded. Kakashi took Mizuki a ways away from Naruto and proceeded to interrogate him.

After 15 minutes of interrogation Kakashi was returning to the area he left Naruto. He heard screaming form the area, so he assumed Naruto was interrogating the other 3 prisoners. As he heard another scream, he decided to hide his presence and observe Naruto. Once he was in position, he saw a sight that horrified him. 2 of the Sound shinobi were laying on the ground dead; one had his stomach cut open and the other had his throat cut. The last one alive was still stuck to the tree that he was nailed to by Naruto's bolt. Only now there was more than one; Naruto standing 30 feet away was using the poor man as target practice, there were bolts piercing his body all in nonlethal spots as to not kill the victim. "Damn mate you almost the record just 2 more and you pass the previous record of 12" said a grinning and cheery tone Naruto before he proceeded to shoot a bolt into the mans chest a few inches from the heart as the man let out a pain filled groan. Kakashi sickened by the way Naruto was torturing the man proceeded to make his presence known "Naruto… I got the information lets get going" Kakashi said not wanting to piss of the boy and giving him a reason to turn the crossbow on him. "Great I can't wait to see gramps again" said the boy as he rushed past Kakashi returning to the road where he left Ranmaru. Kakashi was about to leave before he heard a weak voice "kill…me…please" said the shinobi to which Kakashi flinched as he realized that Naruto intended to leave this man here to die a slow agonizing death; Kakashi effortlessly threw a kunai ending the life of the poor man. As he walked back to Naruto and Ranmaru, Kakashi wondered what kind of monster Naruto has become.

Flashback end

Hiruzen sat in his chair wide eyed; Naruto killing and torturing. As he, Kakashi and Danzo sat in the office wondering what they are going to do. They were currently waiting for Inoichi the leader of the Yamanaka clan and a prodigy in mind/memory reading to report on Naruto's mental health exam as was standard protocol for all missing/captured shinobi when returning to the village. Just then the door opened revealing the blonde man; the three men looked at him with anticipation for the worst. "I did a mental test and a mind sweep" Inoichi said gathering the mens attention as he dropped a huge stack of folders of missing and unsolved cases from the land of fire, murder, family annihilation, caravan ambushes and even cases of arson with people inside the building. "46 victims that we know of. Naruto and his adoptive father Futoshi have been on a 3 year long killing spree around the elemental nations that only ended with his death last year. Since then, Naruto has mostly been killing bandits, shinobi, and the occasional family. He is a born and bred psychopath and sadist who enjoys killing and hunting his victims although he's very opposed to rape and unnecessary animal cruelty" Inoichi said as the 4 men now sat in silence contemplating what to do before Danzo spoke up. "We should make him a shinobi. Before any of you start arguing otherwise you have to see the positives; we have a prodigy with the hunting and tracking skills better than the average chunin, he's ruthless in combat and is loyal to a fault. It says I your report that he became attached to this Futoshi simply because they both come from the same extinct clan is that correct" asked Danzo to which Inoichi nodded " then it's simple we train him to become a shinobi and we give him what he wants; hunting". The three men looked to Danzo and motioned him to continue "we'll enroll him in the academy and every once and a while send him out on a mission with someone who can control him like Kakashi or Anko; he lets out his urges and bloodlust outside the village and behaves while inside" Danzo finished to which the 3 remaining men nodded.

Hiruzen then spoke up "these files or the mental health exam will never see the light of day. The council wanted him dead when he was a innocent child, what would they do now that he's become the monster they all feared" to which the men only could shake their heads in agreement "this secret never leaves this room. If I find out it has been exposed I'll kill all 3 of you regardless of innocence" said the aging Hokage with a little bit of killing intent that got the point across. Hiruzen then stood up "Kakashi take Naruto and Ranmaru home with you" to which Kakashi nodded and left in a swirl of leaves "Danzo, Inoichi I'm calling a council meeting, don't be late and act like you know nothing". The 2 men nodded and exited the room; Hiruzen sat down at his chair 'Naruto you have went down a dark path, but your still young and still have so much ahead of you. I hope you can find the light again' thought Hiruzen as a tear hit his desk.

1 week later

Naruto and Ranmaru were making their way to the academy as the Hokage informed them that Naruto will be attending and while Ranmaru will join him there as a way to keep him busy until next year when he could join the next new class. "Ok Naruto-sir remember what lord Hokage told us, behave, be nice and no killing, torturing or harassing the other students" said Ranmaru to his new master/brother figure. "Yeah I get it. Doesn't mean I gotta like it I swear the way some of these civilian cunts been looking at me I wanna shove my up their ass and out their mouths" said Naruto to which Ranmaru sighed to Naruto's blood thirsty antics. Upon reaching the academy and reaching the room they were supposed to be in both Naruto and Ranmaru walked in unsure what to expect.

Hinata was overlooking her notes as she was waiting for class to start. Hinata over the past 4 years had finally grown out of her shell; while she was still very soft spoken, she no longer was the crybaby she was. It was all thanks to the blonde boy who saved her from those bullies all those years ago, Naruto through his one act of kindness gave the timid Hyuga heiress the push she needed. She tried for years to find the boy but hasn't found a clue of him. So lost in her thoughts she was caught completely off guard when a loud voice caught her attention "Oi, Hinata". As she looked up she saw a blonde boy with whisker marks on his face wearing a old cowboy hat and a orange checkered shirt walk up to her with a foxy grin on his face. Her heart skipped a beat as he stopped right in front of her as she looked at his eyes and realized it was him "what the bloody hell are you doing here" Naruto said in his cheery tone. The last thing Hinata felt was the light headedness before hearing the voice of Naruto again "oh shit!Hinata!" and then the darkness took over her as she passed out with a blissful look and a blush on her face. Naruto caught her in his arms as the entire class looked at the strange interaction; Naruto looking back at them like a deer being spooked responded with the only thing that came to his mind "he did it" as he pointed a accusing finger at Ranmaru who then proceeded to start denying the accusation.
