Hello again here's another chapter. If none of you know I'm nearly done with my other story Hatred and Healing and the last chapter will be uploaded tomorrow come hell or high water. But enough with that on with the show.

Fox Creek: Chapter 10

As Naruto, Ranmaru, Anko, Sai and Tazuna approach the shore of wave country Tazuna breaths a sigh of relief as his journey home was nearly done. He was grateful that the boat ride went smoothly but his nerves were still on edge. He was scared but not for the unknown but for what he knows. The pale boy Sai was quiet and soft spoken so he wasn't too sure about him. Anko was a little crazy but he definatly felt safe around her as she was the most senior of the group. The other 2 though Naruto and Ranmaru; those 2 gave him a sense of doom and dread he's never felt before.

He was a good judge of character and those boys didn't seem right; Naruto posed with a dead body for a portrait and Ranmaru tortured and killed a man and came back happy like he passed a spelling test at school or something.

"Oi, Tazuna" Naruto said as the boat reached the shore "get ready we're about to start hoofing it again" he said with a foxy grin.

"R-Right" Tazuna said not overjoyed to start another trek with the blonde boy.

2 hours down the road later

As the 5 travelers moved down the road Naruto turned to Ranmaru with a smile on his face.

"Oi, Ranmaru" Naruto said gaining the boys attention "keep your eyes open for rabbits; I wouldn't mind rabbit stew tonight. Ranmaru nodded as he secretly activated his dojutsu and took out his sling shot.

As a bush rustled off to the right he readied his shot and let the projectile go. With a wet splat he ran over to the bush and produced a white rabbit with the top of his head gone.

"Got one" Ranmaru said as he held it above his head with a smile on his face.

"Good shot" Naruto said praising his apprentice "go into the woods and get 1 more but don't stray to far from the road".

"Ok" Ranmaru said as he put the rabbit in his pack and walked into the woods.

Anko was about to question what Naruto was doing until she heard a sound of something flying through the air. "Everyone down" Anko yelled as the 4-man group ducked just in time for a giant blade fly over their heads.

As the blade stuck itself into a tree the 4 that were laying on the ground stood up and saw someone standing on the handle of the giant blade. Anko recognizing the person spoke up "lookie here; Zabuza demon of the hidden mist, A rank missing nin" Anko said to which Zabuza began to chuckle.

"Looks like my rep- "before he could finish his intro Naruto released 2 bolts to the missing Kiri nin and he jumped away grabbing his blade before looking at the blonde scowling boy.

"Oi! You fucking cunt look what you did to my hat" Naruto said as everyone looked and saw a tear in Naruto's hat which was made when he ducked under the blade when it was flying.

"Runt don't you- "Zabuza began again only to dodge another volley of bolts from Naruto.

"Shut up! Less talking more dying you bastard" Naruto yelled in rage.

Anko and Tazuna were stunned at how aggressive Naruto was; Anko in particular was especially curious as she has known Naruto for years and never seen him this mad. They then heard Sai let out a sigh of frustration as both adults looked at him.

"Sai what's going on? Why is Naruto so aggressive" Anko asked and Sai then responded.

"Zabuza damaged Naruto's hat" Sai said simply as both Tazuna and Anko face faulted at the answer.

"No damnit! Why is he so upset about a hat" Tazuna asked annoyed at the boy.

"Oh that? Naruto's adoptive father passed that hat down to him shortly before he died" Sai said as they both pressed him to continue "he has only 3 objects to remember his father by; his hat, his knife and his crossbow. Trust me when I say he's unwilling to part with any of them. He's already killed a man for trying to steal his knife" Sai said to which Anko nodded in understanding and Tazuna paled in response to the boys explaination.

Haku was hiding in the trees as he observed the battle down below; so far the blonde bow has been continuously firing bolts at Zabuza not letting him get close or give him enough time to use his hidden mist jutsu. Haku was contemplating going down to help Zabuza until he heard a voice behind him.

"You shouldn'y spy on people" Ranmaru said as Haku turned around only to be hit in the face with Ranmaru's homemade club. Haku fell form the tree to the forest floor his mask broken and blood coming from his broken nose "this club is special you know" Ranmaru said catching the feminine looking boy's attention. "From what Naruto said this wood is reactive to chakra and when I pump mine into it it's nearly unbreakable" Ranmaru finished to which Haku got up and tried to reason with the boy.

"I don't want to kill you" Haku said to which Ranmaru nodded.

"That's a shame" Ranmaru said as he got into a fighting stance "because I want to kill you".

Naruto vs Zabuza

Zabuza slung his sword at Naruto who ducked once again shooting 2 bolts at Zabuza's legs as the man proceeded to jump over them; he was the caught off guard when one of the bolts that passed him exploded. The shockwave pushed him forward to Naruto who then bashed him in the face with the butt of his crossbow.

"You little fucker" Zabuza yelled as he swung his sword again clipping Naruto on the side.

"You cunt" Naruto yelled in anger.

Before Naruto had a chance to retaliate he saw a ink tiger come from the side and knock over Zabuza; as the tiger began mauling him Sai approached Naruto with one of his creepy fake smiles.

"What the hell you doing" Naruto said as he took the hand and was still clutching his side as it was being healed by the fox.

"You were taking to long to kill dickless here so I decided to help" Sai said to which Naruto rolled his eyes.

"Fine you can help" Naruto said with a groan "but I get his head and sword afterwards" Naruto said to which Sai nodded.

Zabuza was able to destroy the tiger as he got up de dodged 2 more bolts and saw another 2 ink tigers coming at him; in realization that he may have bit off more than he could chew he decided to go to plan B.

"Haku! Come here take on these brats while I kill the bridge builder" he yelled in which he received no response. "Haku" Zabuza yelled again Naruto then started laughing which got Zabuza's attention.

"What's wrong your little back up plan isn't coming" Naruto said mockingly which made Zabuza angry "Ranmaru is in the woods right now with your partner. And I'm willing to bet my bottom dollar that he's somewhere kicking the shit out of your partner" Naruto said which made Zabuza a little more nervous about Haku.

Ranmaru vs Haku

Haku was hiding behind a tree as he was now regretting not killing the boy. As Haku took in a breath to calm his nerves he looked down to his broken arm; it was bleeding badly and the bone was sticking out.

'Damn. He wasn't kidding about that club of his' Haku thought as the memory of him trying to catch the club only for his arm to snap at a 90-degree angle was still fresh in his mind. He then heard the sound of leaves crunching and twigs snapping.

Ranmaru was having fun as this was his first-time hunting by himself; he knew he had to defeat this girly guy quickly as he had to help out Naruto with the big guy with the sword. "Run, run, rabbit, run, run, rabbit" Ranmaru sang with a chilling smile on his face as he approached the area Haku was hiding.

Haku running out of options decided to put a plan into action.

As Ranmaru was walking a mirror of ice began to form behind him; as Haku slowly and without a sound left the mirror he raised a senbon ready to end the boy's life. As he came down to stab the boy in the temple to ensure an instant kill, he felt the feeling of his fist meeting flesh as the boy let out a gasp of pain.

'I'm sorry' Haku said as he began to pull out the senbon; only for the boy to go up in a puff of smoke. 'What" Haku thought as he felt something connect to the back of his head as he fell to the ground his ice mirror shattering behind him.

"The best way to lure your prey" Ranmaru said his voice echoing in Haku's head as he was seeing triple "is to put out tempting bait" Ranmaru finished as he kicked Haku in the head knocking the boy out.

Naruto and Sai vs Zabuza

Zabuza was bleeding and huffing as the battle he was fighting wasn't going in his favor. The blonde boy with the crossbow has been attacking him from a distance with his crossbow while the pale boy attacked him from close and medium range with his ink creatures and his short sword. Zabuza while highly experienced was getting whittled down as he has already taken 4 direct hits with those crossbow bolts; 2 to the right leg, 1 to the right arm and 1 to the left chest. That shot nearly hit his heart he's only alive because hemoved slightly to the left at the last second.

As he began to charge again he felt something stab into his feet. As he looked down he saw 2 snakes coming from the ground and they originated from Anko who was kneeling with 2 snaked coming from her sleeve.

"Naruto now" Anko yelled as Naruto shot 2 bolts at Zabuza both hitting his knees crippling him as he fell to the ground unable to move.

Zabuza tried to use his left arm to sit up but immediately fell to the ground as his arm was cut off by Sai. Zabuza now howling in pain completely helpless then saw Naruto approach him before he could say anything everyone heard a shout.

"Hey everyone I got Zabuza's partner; pretty cool right" Ranmaru said dragging a tied up and frightened Haku.

"Good job Ranmaru" Naruto said as he picked up Zabuza and leaned him against a tree so he was sitting up. "You damaged something of mine know I damage something of yours" Naruto said darkly "Ranmaru put him on his knees" Naruto said to which Ranmaru complied.

Haku was now on his knees looking at Naruto and Ranmaru as Naruto whispered something into Ranmaru's ear and the boy nodded. Ranmaru then stood directly in front of Haku and raised his club.

"It's ok" Ranmaru said softly "you can breathe, you can blink, you can cry" he said as he brought down the club and struck Haku dead center in his head much to Zabuza's and Tazuna's horror.

Haku bleeding profusely looked at Zabuza as a desperate and futile plead to be saved "l-l-lord Z-Z-Z" Haku tried to speak only to be hit again by Ranmaru as he fell to the ground.

Ranmaru proceeded to smash in the boy's skull until everything was mush; once he was done, he was breathing heavy as Naruto came up and put a hand on his shoulder "good job Ranmaru go take a fiver" Naruto said as Ranmaru nodded went to a tree, sat down and started eating snacks and drinking water.

Zabuza unable to comprehend what just happened to Haku had his focus shifted as Naruto proceeded to pick up Zabuza's giant sword with minor difficulty.

"Fucking hell" Naruto said as he lifted it up "even when I pump chakra into it it feels like I'm lifting 80 pounds" he said as he approached Zabuza and put the sword to his neck "this is for my hat" Naruto said as he raised the blade "don't move".

Zabuza watched in slow motion as the blade came down and had a final thought run through his mind; a young Haku and his eating lunch by a river. 'Haku' Zabuza thought as his head was separated from his body.

Tazuna seeing the entire display proceeded to empty his stomach on the ground; once he was finished he say the sensei approach and congratulate the team on a job well done; Anko ruffled Ranmaru's hair, Naruto sealed Zabuza's sword and head into a scroll and Sai was back to his sketching as if everything that just happened was normal.

'That's it once this mission is over, I'm going to report these psycho's; this isn't human' Tazuna thought as he glared at the group and in particular Naruto. 'I swear kid you'll be swinging from a rope for what you've done' Tazuna thought as Anko ordered everyone to continue to Tazuna's house.

Ok another chapter done and before anyone asks; yes, I did reference Negan killing Abraham and Glenn from the walking dead because in my opinion seeing your friend having his skull bashed in would make anyone shit their pants.
