Hello everyone I'm back once again to bring you another chapter in my series. Just Fyi I started up another series 'Loyalty and Lies'; it's gonna be shorter than the current ones because it's only focusing on a small-time frame in the series but I hope that it takes off and people enjoy it. So, without further ado let's begin.
Fox Creek: Chapter 14
Ranmaru and Sai were running through the forest with Karin looking for Naruto; Karin woke Ranmaru up when she felt a surge in malicious chakra and Ranmaru woke up Sai as they both knew that either Naruto was the culprit or he was going to fight the culprit.
'Hold on Naruto' Ranmaru thought as he ran through the forest.
With Naruto
Naruto was engaging Sasuke in hand-to-hand combat; Sasuke with the use of his sharingan was able to dodge all of Naruto's bolts. Naruto not wanting to waste his ammo proceeded to fight himup close and personal; as he took another punch to his jaw he felt a few of his teeth get knocked loose.
"Fucking cunt" Naruto shouted as he grabbed Sasuke's arm and pulled him forward, kneeing him before elbowing him in the back of the head. Sasuke shaking off the blows grabbed Naruto and brought him to the ground. Naruto and Sasuke wrestled on the ground as Kin looked on.
'They're from the same village' Kin questioned as she saw how brutally they were fighting 'I cant imagine what they'd do to their enemies' she thought as she pulled Naruto's shirt tighter to her exposed body.
Naruto kicked Sasuke off him and retreated to gain some space; Sasuke now having some space went though hand signs 'fire style: fire ball jutsu' he then blew a stream of fire to Naruto who jumped out of the way just in time. Naruto standing up pulled out his knife and looked at Sasuke.
"Oi arsehole" Naruto yelled "you wanna stop now or do you still have a death wish" Naruto said to which Sasuke laughed.
"Shut up you fucking redneck" Sasuke said as he pulled out a kunai "you're just some trash brought in from the outside; I'm a Uchiha! A elite shinobi from a noble clan not some pig hunter from the boonies" Sasuke said looking to get under Naruto skin. He then just saw Naruto standing there with a blank look.
"Fine then Uchiha" Naruto said gripping his knife tighter "don't say I didn't warn you" Naruto said as he charged at Sasuke. The 2 boys exchange blows as knives clang together and sparks flew from the melee; Sauske was then thrown off balance as Naruto kicked his leg nearly breaking it.
Naruto taking advantage of the moment thrust his knife forward and stabbed Sasuke in the chest. Naruto feeling the blood run down his hand pulled the knife out and kicked the Uchiha to the ground leaving his to bleed out. Naruto turned around and started to walk over to the girl he saved to check up on her.
Naruto then felt a surge of power behind him as he spun around and saw it was coming from Sasuke; his skin darkened, his hair turned purple and the whites of his eyes turned black. Naruto looked at Sasuke and became slightly worried.
"Fuck me" Naruto said as he got back into a fighting stance "you went from a pretty boy to an ugly bastard in less than a minute" he joked to which Sasuke ignored as he felt the power coursing through his veins.
"This power" Sasuke said quietly "This power! This is what I needed! This is what I need to kill Itachi!" Sasuke yelled in excitement as he looked at Naruto "I guess I can test it out on you" he said with a mad look in his eyes.
Naruto stayed silent but in his mind he was speaking 'Fox looks like I need that power you've been offering' he said as he heard the fox chuckle. Naruto then began to be covered in a red coat of Chakra as it formed over him it took the shape of a fox with 2 tails being formed; his appearance also changed as his whiskers became darker and he started getting red streaks in his hair.
"Ok cunt" Naruto said glaring at Sasuke "let's dance" he said as he ran to Sasuke with speed that was almost too fast for Sasuke to see. He then punched Sasuke in the stomach; Sasuke doubled over and coughed up blood; as he was betting back up, he felt a sharp pain in his back. Naruto stabbed him in the back and twisted his knife making the wound worse.
Sasuke screamed in pain as he grabbed the wound to stop the bleeding; only to be kicked by Naruto into a tree. Sasuke dazed looked up only to see Naruto shoot 2 bolts at him after he retrieved his crossbow. Sasuke jumped out of the way and threw several shuriken at Naruto who swatted them away with his arm as it was protected by chakra.
Sasuke went through hand signs 'fire style: Phoenix flower jutsu' as he blew multiple miniature fire balls at Naruto. Naruto dodged the first few but got hit on the last one burning his left chest and destroying his shirt. Naruto retaliated by shooting a volley of bolts.
Sasuke using his sharingan caught both bolts midflight in a show of skill; only to be blown back as the 2 bolts exploded. He was knocked to the ground and lying on his back as he was dazed; as he tried to get up, he felt Naruto use his knees to hold him down by his shoulders as he raised his knife in and held it in a downward angle.
Naruto without a moment's hesitation drove the knife down and stabbed Sasuke through his eye socket piercing the brain. Sasuke only had a look of horror on his face as his curse mark state receded and his world went black. Naruto was huffing and puffing as his chakra cloak dissipated; he then pulled his knife out of Sasuke and smiled at his handiwork.
This was the scene that Kiba woke up to; his teammate being killed by Naruto. As his partner Akamaru woke up as well he looked at him and spoke "let's go boy" he said to which Akamaru barked in acknowledgement.
Naruto had just got off Sasuke and was about to walk back to Kin until he was hit on his side. As he was hit and knocked down as he saw 2 spinning tornados' than stopped and revealed Kiba and a henged Akamaru. "Fuck me" Naruto groaned in pain "I don't have any energy for this" he said as he shakily got back up as one of the Kiba's spoke.
"You bastard" Kiba growled "how could you kill Sasuke like that like he was nothing" he said as Naruto stood up and smirked.
"Simple mutt" Naruto said as his foxy grin showed itself "I had a lot of practice; Hana and your mom made good practice" he said only loud enough for only Kiba and Akamaru to hear and flinch at the statement.
"You lie" Kiba said as his blood ran cold.
"They came to kill me all those years ago" Naruto said as Kiba felt all his years of hate and misery build up "Hana and your mom along with their 4 mutts came into this here forest; and… well I'm here, your mom is in the looney bin and sissy is 6 feet under" he said as Kiba saw red.
"You fucking fucking fucker! You fucked up my fucking life" Kiba shouted as he ran enraged at Naruto who dodged Kiba's wild swings as Akamaru charged in to support Kiba. Naruto fighting 2 opponents simultaneously, tired and weakened by his fight with Sasuke was barely able to keep up. However one of the Kiba's made a huge mistake by trying to gain a little distance; Naruto seeing this charged his knife with his red lightning threw it at 'Kiba' with a satisfying sound of a wet slap.
Akamaru's henge dissipated as he fell to the ground the knife sticking out of his side; his last sight was seeing Kiba looking at him with horror on his face as he yelled something inaudible.
"Akamaru" Kiba yelled as he saw his partner die was brought out of his yelling by a punch to the face by Naruto. Kiba grabbing the arm that punched him proceeded to break it at the joint causing Naruto to let out a pain filled scream before he was thrown into a tree.
Naruto now dazed looked up and saw a enraged Kiba approaching; using his only functional arm he reached down to his ankle and pulled out a skinny knife with a tubular handle and pointed it at Kiba who in a moment of arrogance laughed.
"How do you intend to kill me with that" Kiba mocked as he got within 5 feet of Naruto "you really are a- "he was stopped as the blade of the knife shot out of the handle and hit him in the throat severing his artery. Kiba immediately grabbed his throat in order to stop the bleeding; Naruto stood up holding his broken arm and looked down at Kiba.
"Pretty nice right" he asked as Kiba was trying and failing to stop the blood flow "Ranmaru made it; he calls it a ballistic knife. Useful as a weapon of last resort; first time I've used it and performed well" he said with a foxy grin as he saw Kiba go limp and release his final breath.
Naruto then felt his legs give out and he fell to the ground; Kin seeing that the fight was now over rushed over to him.
With Ranmaru
Ranmaru, Karin and Sai arrived to a scene that they never expected to see Shikamaru and Choji tending to a unconscious Naruto, Ino tending to a still shaking Kin, 2 dead sound ninjas, Sasuke dead with Naruto's knife still sticking out of his eye socket and Kiba dead with what looks like the blade of his experimental ballistic knife sticking out of his neck.
"What the hell happened" Ranmaru shouted as everyone looked at him and recognized it was Naruto's team with a grass kunoichi they didn't know. Kin seeing that they meant no harm spoke up.
"Well… what happened was- "Kin began as she explained what happened, how she and her squad was instructed to kill Sasuke, how team 10 assisted in defending the unconscious boy how when he woke up, he proceeded to attack his teammate and team 10. She then began crying as she explained how Sasuke killed her 2 teammates and attempted to rape her until Naruto arrived, fought and killed him; then how his teammate awoke and tried to kill Naruto only to be killed himself. She didn't mention his and Kiba's conversation as she didn't think anything of it.
Karin after listening to the story ran over to Naruto and pulled up her sleeve.
"What're you doing" Shikamaru asked as he did not know this girl.
"My chakra has healing properties" she said as she put her arm into Naruto's mouth and forced him to bite down. Soon the bruises and broken arm were healing rapidly to almost perfect condition; Karin then removed her arm and sat down. Choji seeing her look slightly winded offered her some chips and water.
"Here take it" Choji said as Karin took them.
"Thanks" Karin said as she began to eat the food quietly as she looked over and saw Ranmaru talking to a blonde girl and the sound girl and felt a pang of jealousy.
"Don't worry once we get to the tower, we can get you the support you need" Ranmaru said to Kin as the black-haired girl quietly nodded. "Ino do you have any spare cloths that she can wear" Ranmaru asked as Ino then got out a purple hoodie and gave it to kin so she can cover herself better as Naruto's shirt was too small for her.
Ino looking at the shaken and tramutized girl felt a pang of sympathy as she could not imagine what kind of turmoil she was going through.
"Ok everyone" Sai said gaining everyone's attention "gather up the bodies, and Naruto we are heading to the tower because what happened here was not normal" he said as he looked to Kin who flinched under his gaze "and you have some explaining to do" he said.
Kin felt scared until Ranmaru put his hand on her shoulder and smiled "don't worry" he said reassuringly "you tell us what we need to know and you'll be safe here" he said as Kin nodded. Kin then looked and saw Shikamaru seal up the bodies of Sasuke, Kiba, Zaku and Dosu; she then saw Choji pick up her blonde savior as she lightly blushed at how brave he was to save her.
"Ok people" Sai said "lets go to the tower" he said as all genin began their journey leaving the area. Unknown to them a figure morphed form out of a tree and spoke in a light voice.
"This is interesting" the white half of Zetsu said "Itachi isn't going to like this" the black part of Zetsu commented as he morphed back into the tree leaving the area.
2 days later: Tower in the forest of death.
"- I killed Sasuke because he went completely crazy; coming from me that's really saying something" Naruto said as Hiruzen, Danzo, Kakashi, Inoichi, Anko and Ibiki listened to him finish his story.
"Ok Naruto thank you" Hiruzen said as he looked at Ibiki "what did that sound girl tell you" He asked to which Ibiki nodded.
"First is that she was under orders from Orochimaru to kill Sasuke" he said to which everyone except Naruto became nervous about the mention of the rogue Sanin. "Second the reason why Sasuke went crazy was because of the curse mark that was given to him by Orochimaru which increased the bloodlust and malisious intent of the individual" he said to which everyone nodded. "Lastly she said that the Sound and sand were planning to invade Konoha during the chunin exam finals; this matches to what info we got from Kabuto during his interrogation" he said as Hiruzen nodded.
"What can we do about this" he asked the room to which Naruto raised his hand "speak Naruto" he said as Naruto stepped forward.
"Well, I did kill that Gaara guy and absorbed his tailed beast chakra so now if they do attack, they don't have their wild card" he said to which Danzo interjected.
"I did have my root agents watching the boy just incase he went on a rampage due to his instability" he said as he looked at Naruto "but if he took him out then that means that they are going to have a much easier time to handle the invading troops" he said as everyone saw what he was getting at.
"I see" Hiruzen said as he spoke to the entire room "As of right now we got 5 teams Anko's, Asuma's, a sand team, team guy and a team from Taki" he said as he stood up. "For now, we proceed like we don't know anything and continue as planned; once the finals come around we will put a trap in place for my treasonous student. Any questions" he asked as he saw no one speak up "very well dismissed".
Later: on the roof.
Kakashi was sitting in silence as he then heard footsteps behind him and saw Naruto; Naruto was looking down as he approached as he sat next to Kakashi.
"Sorry I had to kill them Kakashi" Naruto said with actual regret in his voice "I had to stop Sasuke from hurting Kin and Kiba well… he wanted to kill me anyways no if and's or but's about it" he said as he looked over to the masked ninja.
"It's fine Naruto" Kakashi said as he looked at Naruto with honesty in his eye "I would've killed Sasuke too if I saw him about to assault a girl; Kiba always had a odd look to him especially when he talked about Hinata" Kakashi said as Naruto looked at him with surprise. "You're my brother Naruto; I'd choose you over anyone else in the world in a heart beat" he said as he hugged Naruto who in turn hugged back while chuckling.
"Alright enough sappy shit" Naruto said to which Kakashi broke the hug and chuckled "So are you going to be training me for the finals" Naruto asked to which Kakashi nodded.
"Yep along with 2 others" he said to which Naruto became confused "Kin has been placed under my protection so she's coming; Karin also asked to come because because she wants to spend time with her cousin" Kakashi said as Naruto nodded. Naruto liked Karin she was pretty smart and not a wannabe shinobi like most girls her age are.
"Wonder where she is" Naruto pondered
With Ranmaru
Ranmaru was currently being smothered by Karin as they were laying on her bed in the tower.
"Karin" Ranmaru asked "not that I don't like the snuggling but well… why" he asked to which Karin giggled.
"Because I'm going to be leaving the village with Naruto for a while and I want to get as much Ranmaru time as I can before I leave" she said to which Ranmaru blushed and nodded as he snuggled back into her. 'Also, I don't want you to be hogged by that blonde haired bimbo' Karin thought with a chuckle.
Ino sitting in her room reading a magazine sneezed 'is someone talking about me' she wondered.
Back with Naruto
"I'm sure she's alright" he said with a shrug "so when do we leave" he asked.
"3 days; so, 2 days after this exam ends" Kakashi said as Naruto nodded and got up.
"Ok then" Naruto chirped "that gives me some time to take Hinata out on a date" he said with a face splitting smile as he walked off. Kakashi chuckled as he looked up at the sky.
'Sensei. Naruto is getting better; just a little more time and he'll be normal… or well as normal as can be' Kakashi thought as he vanished in a swirl of leaves.
Undisclosed location
Zetsu was currently being held in the air by Itachi's Susanoo as the now last Uchiha was looking at the black and white creature with his sharingan blazing.
"Say that again" Itachi said trying and failing to keep his anger in check as Zetsu struggled and Kisame looked on helpless and unwilling to assist his fellow Akatsuki member.
"Your brother Sasuke was killed by the 9 tails host" White Zetsu said as he wiggled to get free. "Orochimaru gave him a curse seal and he went berserk; the host then killed him in order to stop his rampage" Black Zetsu said as he was fearing for his life.
Itachi looked enraged; he left Sasuke alive so he could kill him, take his eyes and rebuild the Uchiha clan. All his suffering, all his planning, foiled by the host of the 9 tailed demon fox.
"Itachi could you- "Black Zetsu began until being engulfed by back flames as he screamed in agony. Kisame was looking at the sight in horror; he never seen Itachi show any emotion, now that he's seen it he instantly regretted it. Itachi canceled the flames as Zetsu was no more burned to ashes as only his Akatsuki ring fell to the ground unceremoniously.
Itachi then turned to Kisame who in turn flinched at the Uchiha's gaze; Itachi then began to remove his Akatsuki robes and took off his ring showing his old ANBU armor underneath and unsealed a sword and fastened it to his back.
"Kisame" Itachi said in a cold and low voice "I quit the Akatsuki, I'm going to kill Naruto Uzumaki; you can come or you can go. Your choice" Itachi said as Kisame froze for a second then nodded.
Kisame then removed his ring and looked back at Itachi no longer in fear but in determination "lets go kill that little prick" Kisame said as Itachi nodded. As both ex-Akatsuki members ran off to the leaf village they were unaware of a presence looking at then and seeing the entire exchange.
'Mother of god' Obito impersonating Madara Uchiha thought as he saw the exchange 'Zetsu told me about how the 9 tails container killed the 1 tail and how Itachi's brother was killed but I didn't expect this' he thought. Things were not going well for the Akatsuki as both Deidera and Sasori disappeared years ago without a trace now Itachi and Kisame were on the war path, Zetsu was dead and now the 1 tailed is unobtainable. 'Naruto Uzumaki' Obito thought 'I should've killed you all those years ago; you wouldn't have foiled my plans and more importantly for you your death would've been swift' Obito thought as he was sure Itachi was going to make his death as slow and painful as possible.
Obito vanished away in a Kamui leaving the area with only the ashes of Zetsu remaining. Unbeknownst to Obito, Itachi and Kisame, Naruto was an even bigger threat to the Akatsuki than they realized as instead of hunting a fox they were about to back it into a corner.
Oh shit man I'm having fun writing these stories. Sorry for the late update my work schedule is fucking me up but I'm not giving up on writing. So enjoy this chapter, next chapter is going to be filler and then it's going to pick up real fast. Ok so until then bye. And Happy MLK day on Monday.
