"Alright class, now that you all have your provisional licenses it is time for you to pick your work study location," the teacher announced.

"Work study, with that we're close to actual heroes," Mirio grinned.

Natsu smiled "You got that right,"

"But we need to decide where to do our work study," Tamaki told them.

Natsu and Mirio nodded.

"So where do you guys plan on going," Hado asked curiously.

"Well me and Gajeel are going back to Fat Gum," Tamaki answered and Gajeel nodded. "And you and Wendy are going back to Ryukyu,"

Hado smiled and nodded and Wendy nodded as well.

"She was really nice to us, and we learned a lot," Wendy smiled.

Natsu grinned "I see that's good, and you going back to Nighteye Mirio,"

Mirio grinned and gave a thumbs up "You got that right,"

"Thats cool," Natsu smirked.

"And you Natsu-san, are you going back to Endeavor," Wendy asked.

"Yeah you mention you didn't get that good of an experience," Tamaki said.

"Maybe you should try a different agency. I'm sure you got tons of offers," Hado smiled.

Yeah, maybe," Natsu scrolled through the list of hero agencies. It was then one particular caught his eyes.

"Hey you found one yer Salamander," Gajeel leaned in his chair.

Natsu nodded "Yeah kind of," it was then Natsu walked up to Mirio. "Hey Mirio can we talk,"

Mirio grinned "Yeah sure, you can ask me anything,"

"I'm happy that you two decided to come back," Fatgum grinned as he ate his food.

Gajeel scoff "Yeah whatever, just tell me when I get to punch someone,"

"Gajeel be polite," Tamaki said.

Fatgum laughed "It's good to know you boys haven't changed,"

The pro and the two work-study students are on their daily patrol. As the three were walking, however, they heard a scream.

"Help thief!"

"Hehe catch us if you can,"

Gajeel smirked "Finally some action, you going to interfere Fat,"

Fatgum smiled "No I want to see how you boys can handle it,"

"Good," Gajeel smirked.

Gajeel then charged at the group of thieves.

One laughed "ha what are you going to do kid,"

Gajeel just smirked and he then thrust his arm forward and it turned into an iron rod.

IRON DRAGON LANCE

The group of criminals was hit directly by the iron rod, the one in front hit directly in the stomach and being rammed into his goons behind him.

"Easy," Gajeel snickered, it was then one of the goons managed to getaway.

"Hehe, try to catch me now," the goon laughed.

It was then however the man was grabbed by a giant tentacle.

"A tentacle," the man shouted.

"That's kind of rude," Tamaki groaned.

Fatgum clapped after the two cuffed the criminals "Good work, and no one was hurt,"

"Thank you," Tamaki bowed.

"It was nothing," Gajeel smirked.

Fatgum grinned "You guys just wait there's more to learn out there,"

"Yes sir," Tamaki said.

"I know," Gajeel scoffed.

Fatgum signed "You still need to fix that attitude of yours Black, and SunEater have more confidence with yourself don't have everything bring you down,"

Tamaki looked down depressed "Please stop making fun of me,"

"Would you quit your whining already," Gajeel shouted.

SKY DRAGON ROAR

Wendy and Hado unleashed their attacks on two giant villains taking them down with little effort. Once the two landed safely on the ground they were greeted by Ryukyu.

"Great work you two," Ryukyu smiled. "Not bad for a debut,"

"Thank you Ryukyu" Wendy and Hado bowed.

"Have to say it's impressive what high school kids are capable of these days," Ryukyu told them "Shows how times have changed,"

"Really," Wendy blushed, embarrassed by the compliment.

"I mean it," Ryukyu smiled "You two grown since last year, Wendy you were much shyer and a bit cautious but now you are starting to show more confidence in yourself,"

Wendy bowed "Thank you, I've just learned from a good friend of mine,"

"I see," Ryukyu smiled.

"You mean Natsu don't you, I mean you two are close," Hado said.

Wendy blushed, but nodded "Yes, but he's like a brother to me, he always took care of me,"

Hado smiled "I see it's good to have such a good friendship,"

"Yeah," Wendy smiled.

"Alright girls, let's continue our patrol nights almost over," Ryukyu said.

"Yes ma'am," Wendy and Hado said.

"I have to say I'm rather surprised you would come here," Nighteye said when he eyed the two students in front of him.

"I'll tell ya, Sir he's going to be great, he's even stronger than me," Mirio grinned.

"I see that," Nighteye pushed up his glasses. "But still I half expected for you to go work under Endeavor, well, Natsu Dragneel,"

Natsu shrugged "Well when I went there for my internship, I didn't get to work much with him, and we didn't get along well. So I doubt he'll want me back, and I saw your agency offered me so I decided to take it along with Mirio,"

Nighteye looked Natsu in the eye "I can tell you and Mirio are quite alike, and I was hoping you would join me, I hope to see what you are capable of Salamander,"

Natsu smiled and bowed.

"I look forward to working with you Sir Nighteye,"

"Good," Nighteye said, "now put on your costumes, we have a lot of work to do,"

"Yes sir," Natsu and Mirio bowed and the two went off to the changing room.

Nighteye then sat down at his desk and looked over the two boys' files. "Both of them show a strong will to do good, and they both bring a wave of smiles to others around them."

"Comparing the two, Natsu is clearly the physical superior ability to hold his own in combat with no help he would be able to handle the physical drawbacks of One for All, but he is too hot-headed and goes in without a plan most time but from what I heard he's mellowed, with Mirio citizens will be more at peace, but he still lacks control of his quirk, but after the week internship he's gotten better"

"Both can be considered true successors but the only one can inherit One for All, but which one should I choose," Nighteye leaned in his chair.

It was then Bubble Girl walked into the office "Sir, Lemillion, and Salamander are ready for patrol,"

Nighteye nodded "Alright, tell them I'll be out soon,"

Bubble Girl nodded "Yes sir,"

Nighteye signed "guess my only choice is to see how they perform in the field,"

"All Might, your successor will be one of these two boys you will see, and maybe you will forget about that quirkless boy,"
