Chapter 15 Red Riot

Midoriya was not doing so well after encountering Chisaki a few days ago, during classes his teachers and classmates took notice he was not focusing, constantly screwing up on the simplest task he usually excelled in.

"Don't go,"

Eri's words played in Midoriya's head constantly since that day, he kept thinking about the scared little girl who was in need of saving. There was also something else in his mind that went on, it was what Nighteye told him.

Mirio or Natsu would have been a better choice than you. Though in my eyes Mirio is the better successor to All Might.

Midoriya found himself in the faculty room wanting to talk to his mentor only to find out he was currently jogging.

"Don't you know, ever since the home visits ended he's been working out," Midnight told him.

Outside the school, All Might was currently doing what was said, he was his tracksuit the same color as his costume.

"ALL MIGHT!"

All Might jumped and turned and was shocked seeing Midoriya running towards him at full speed using his quirk.

"Midoriya-shounen"

Midoriya stopped in front of the former number 1 hero.

"How did you know I was here," All Might asked.

"Did you know Nighteye knew about One for All," Midoriya asked him "And that Togata-senpai was suppose to inherit it," he jogged behind him, "Why didn't you tell me,"

"Did I need a reason to," All Might respond.

"OF COURSE YOU DID!" Midoriya shouted "This is all news to me, and Nighteye basically hates me. I just don't understand what you were thinking. This has been bugging me all this time, Why can't you tell me, I'm not asking as a fan but as your successor,"

All Might signed "I didn't think we ever have this talk, do you really wanna know," and Midoriya nodded "Just don't regret it,"

All Might then began his story about how he and Nighteye met "I was never one to take sidekicks but Nighteye eventually wore me down after countless attempts, and we became quite the duo me the brawn and him the brains,"

"I know that you were in the field and he supported you," Midoriya said.

All Might nodded "Yes our partnership however ended 6 years ago, Because we saw things differently," All Might then told the story of how and Nighteye separated after his battle with All for One over 6 years ago, Nighteye telling him to retire or he'll die, but All Might refuse to take a backseat.

"We were at odds about my future, the fight split us apart. Principal Nezu then told me about Togata-shounen and Dragneel-shounen. I then ran into you before I met them," All Might stopped and looked at him.

"I am sorry, I never wanted you to know because you're my fan,"

Midoriya was in shock and horror "All Might, you're going to die," he repeated the words again, shocked to process it.

"After I met you and made you my successor and told Nighteye the gap between us grew," All Might said remembering his last conversation with his former sidekick. "He then told me he'll find a more suitable one that being either Togata or Dragneel."

"Wait, All Might, when is Nighteye's prediction supposed to come, is it really inevitable," Midoriya questioned.

All Might look down "Six or seven years into my future he saw, the farther he looks the harder it is to accurately predict, though his predictions are never wrong,"

"Six or seven years, but that means this year or the next," Midoriya stammered "It can't be, how can, You just can't All Might,, At the Sports Fest. my promise to you, I made a promise and I still haven't come through yet, you have to live."

"You gotta keep living until the day you can hear me say, 'I Am Here'" Midoriya declared.

All Might look down and signed "You know when I heard his prediction I accepted, with that goal in sight I thought I finish it,"

"But," Midoriya stuttered.

"My fight against All for One in Kamino was my final, but you were there," All Might told him, shocking Midoriya "You, timid and quirkless have been there for me all these months, and our days together spoke to me, telling me to live," he then held out his hand "Then your mother told me to live so I could raise and protect you right! So even now I'm fighting to live. You change my outlook! I'm still alive,"

All Might then halved bulked up

"I'll use this very hand to shape my own fate," he declared. "These words are what I meant when I say we settle things All for One,"

All Might then deflated "It's been a long and winding road to get here, and Sir's words are proving to be true, which is why I can't face him just yet, I didn't wanna do anything to slow you down, when sprinting towards greater strength, for all we know maybe my fate is sealed,"

Midoriya shook "So we don't know if the prediction is true or now,"

"Eh," All Might was shocked thinking Midoirya didn't hear a word he said.

"I just can't accept it All Might, no way," Midoriya held out his fist to him "Whatever happens to you, I'll be there All Might, I'll change fate by your side,"

All Might smiled seeing the boy's determination "Just don't go messing that arm of yours up more," he joked and the two bumped fist.

In the night of the city two giant villains were fighting and causing a rampage. It was then Nejire and Wendy flew.

Nejire smiled "Output Level 30,"

Wendy then took a deep breath.

NEJIRE WAVE

SKY DRAGON ROAR

Nejire then looked over her shoulder "Okay its your guys turn,"

Wendy smiled "good luck you two,"

Uraraka and Tsuyu were floating in the air, debris floating beside them "Ultimate Move,"

METEOR FAFROTSKIES

The two girls fried a meteor shower of debris at the two giant villains knocking them out in that attack. The two first-year girls landed beside Hado and Wendy.

"Good job two," Wendy smiled.

"Yeah you guys were awesome," Nejire cheered.

"Thank you," Tsuyu bowed.

"Yeah, we did it," Uraraka smiled.

"Good job girls," Ryukyu congratulated. "It's like Nejire and Wendy said you two are amazing, now I get why these recommended you two,"

"Thank you Ryukyu-san," Uraraka and Tsuyu bowed.

"Hey, Ryukyu didya know these two couldn't go to the same place for work-study as their internship, and that's because first years could only do work-study at accomplished agencies that did well with work-study students," Nejire smiled

Ryukyu smiled "Well you four may still be just students, but you all show great promise that's why I know you, girls we'll be a big help in this case,"

"A case?" Uraraka asked.

Ryukyu nodded "All Might's former sidekick Sir Nighteye request for our help,"

"Nighteye that is where Deku-Kun is doing his Work-study," Uraraka thought.

Wendy also had the same thought as Uraraka "Natsu-san, Togata-san do you know what's going on,"

Shie Hasskai Base

"This place isn't very big," Shigaraki looked around.

"I don't like clutter," Chisaki answered.

Shigaraki scratched his neck "We've been wandering the tunnels for half an hour, way to make us feel welcome, are all Yakuza bases like this,"

"We can't be sure if you were being followed so we took precautions," Chisaki told him.

Mimic flipped through the bills "We've survived this long this way, anyway so do you mean it, to work with us if we negotiate terms,"

Shigaraki slumped in the couch "That's one way to say it, you guys wanna use our name and we want to expand our resources, we both gain something from this arrangement," he kicked his feet on the table/

"Get your feet off the table," Chisaki said, annoyed.

Shigaraki ignored his request "This plan you mentioned is only natural if you include us and tell me. Afterall I am gonna hafta decide if you can use our name,"

It was then that Mimic and Chronostasis aimed their guns at Shigaraki.

"You think you can tell us what to do," Chronostasis said.

"Who the hell do you think you are," Mimic shouted.

"Hmm," Shigaraki scoffed "You guys are ones to talk, me killing your two-bit meat shield is hardly a fair trade after what happened to our dear Magene, and Compress' arm, we need compensation after losing some valuable pieces,"

"Mimic, Chrono stand down," Chisaki ordered. "He's our guest after all, I mean we did waste his time to get him here, let's hear him out,"

Shigaraki then took out a needled pointed bullet from his pocket "Your plan has something to do with this right?"

Elsewhere in Osaka

"There's no shortage of criminals in these parts, and it makes me hungry," Fatgum ate his takoyaki. "That's why hero agencies now need those who specialize in combat, that's why I'm happy your here Red Riot,"

Kirishima smirked and bumped his fist together "happy to be here sir, Fourth Kind doesn't accept work-study students, so I'm glad you took me in,"

Gajeel signed "man this brat is loud,"

"If only Mirio was here, being around Kirishima and Gajeel's aggressiveness scares me," Tamaki thought.

Fat Gum grinned "I know you three will make a great team, not until Tamaki fixed that shyness at him,"

Tamaki felt like he was shot in the chest, making Gajeel laugh.

"Haha, you got that right," Gajeel laughed.

"Why do you guys always bully me," Tamaki slumped. "I wanna go home,"

"No, I'm pretty sure they're trying to cheer you up," Kirishima tried to encourage the upperclassmen.

Tamaki signed "I'll never be as cheery as Mirio, Natsu, or you,"

"No that's not true," Kirishima said "I know how you feel whenever things go bad I feel completely useless, my classmates keeping getting stronger than me and I feel the need to catch up and stand by their side,"

Gajeel smirked "You're not the only one who feels that way kid,"

Tamaki grumbled "Like I said you're too positive,"

"HELP!"

The four heroes all turn and see a group of thugs fleeing.

"These thugs are trying to do business in my terf!

"Damn it. We were just about to make a name for ourselves,"

"Split up,"

"Oh no you don't" Fatgum stopped the

"FAT!" one screamed as Fat absorbed them.

Fat's eyes then widen as one slipped away "Hey you got the same quirk as edge,"

"I've got get out of here,"

It was then suddenly he was wrapped in a large tentacle "What the, an octopus,?"

Tamaki groaned "That's really rude,"

"He was just a shocked dumbass," Gajeel yelled.

"He was just talking about your tentacles, Senpai," Kirishima tried to cheer up.

"Hey let me go,"

"You shut up," Gajeel turned his arm to steel and punched the thug in the face.

"Woah," Kirishima said. "I knew Redfox-senpai was amazing, but Amajiki-senpai is no slouch either, I couldn't do anything,"

"That's our Suneater and Black Steel they're quite a combo, even if Sun Eater's psyche needs work," Fatgum congratulated.

The group was then greeted by cheers from the crowd, which made Tamaki shiver. Unknowing to them amongst the crowd was a member of the gang.

"I have to save Aniki," the man then pulled out a gun.

Gajeel smelled the man, and Fat saw him.

"GET DOWN!" they both yelled.

The man then fired the gun, and it hit Tamaki directly in the shoulder.

"TAMAKI," Gajeel shouted.

The man fired again, but this time Kirishima stood in front of Tamaki hardening and shielding the upperclassmen, the bullet bouncing off his head.

Right after Compress was shot with this," Shigaraki said. "His quirk stopped working for a while, so what are these, what's your plan with these,"

"Exactly what it was used for," Chisaki simply answered, "They say All for One can take and give quirks, I decided to do that but change it up a little, we've already planted seeds throughout the country, little by little our plan is taking effect,"

"Sun Eater, Black Steel, Red Riot," Fat shouted.

Kirishima hardened again "Your mine." he then turned to Tamaki "Senpai you okay,"

Tamaki nodded "Yeah, I'm fine,"

"Eh?" Gajeel was shocked, he's happy his partner is alright but it's strange "You were just shot how are you okay,"

"Don't know, but I don't think it was a normal bullet," Tamaki said.

"Damn it I'm out of here," the man fled.

"Hey get back here," Kirishima chased after him.

"Hey brat wait," Gajeel shouted, helping Tamaki.

Tamaki held his arm out "I'll get him," but to their shock, Tamaki's quirk wasn't activating. "What why won't it work,"

"I'll get them, Black, Sun you two stay here and handle things," Fat ordered.

"I'm fine but my quirk isn't working," Tamaki shouted,

Fat then stopped shocked "What? Is there someone like Eraser around here?"

Kirishima continued to chase the man "Hey stop running, what about saving your friends,"

"Eh, whose side are you on,"

"Someone who shoots someone and runs away isn't a manly dude," Kirishima shouted.

"Eh, a dead end,"

"Get away from me!" The man turned and small blades grew out of his arm, and he tried to cut Kirishima, but due to the student's hardening quirk the blades barely grazed him.

RED COUNTER

Kirishima punched the man in the face with a hardened fist knocking the thug to the ground. "I held back so come quietly," it was then the man started to cry, "Wait are you crying,"

"Why do I have such a weak quirk, I can only produce blades the length of a box cutter, do you know how useless that is. I just wanted to save my bros, and got scared. At least praise my courage to shoot,"

Kirishima signed and helped the man up "Hey if you're going to cry about this then don't commit crimes,"

"I just wanted to be strong,"

"Hey I get it, man, my friends are super strong too and I feel weak compare to them," Kirishima told him.

The man then pulled a needle out of his sleeve "If I'm with my gang then I have power, you're training to become a hero don't pretend to understand,"

"Hey what are you," But Kirishima was too late, the man injected him with the needle and whatever was in it. "Hey what did you inject yourself with,"

It was then suddenly out of nowhere dozens of long blades shot out of the man, and he started to cackle maniacally.

"Thanks for the help, Sun Eater," an officer said.

"Its alright," Tamaki turned to the arrested thugs "Tell me what was that drug your friend shot me with,"

"Go to hell,"

Tamaki then slumped at the wall, depressed at the remark.

"Well, we'll handle it from here,"

"Gajeel, Kirishima, Fat, I got a bad feeling about this,"

"What the hell is this," Kirishima shouted as he defended himself from the blades.

"HAHA! Can't do anything against me now,"

"This must be one of those quirk-enhancing drugs I heard about on the news, a long time ago," Kirishima defended. "If this guy gets out in the city it will be trouble,"

Kirishima then turned to the civilians "GET INSIDE! I'LL HANDLE HIM,"

It was then more blades shot at Kirishima, knocking him back and breaking parts of my costumes "Damn these things are harder than I thought,"

"HAHA! With this power I and my bros are gonna rule, So get out of my way kid, with this I can help my bros,"

When the attack was heading towards Kirishima he thought back to the words of All Might and his friends.

"With your quirk don't go for small tricks, trying bulldozing,"

"Just being able to stand and fight makes you strong, that's why you called yourself my unbreakable horse right,"

"More," Kirishima hardened "More, I need to keep hardening I need to do it until I can be an uncrackable wall," it was then the blades started to bounce off and break off of Kirishima.

"What the,"

It was then that Kirishima's body was now a completely hardened shell. "This is the result of my training, the unbreakable wall."

RED RIOT UNBREAKABLE

"What the hell is that,"

It was then Kirishima started to head towards the man making a creaking noise as he walked.

"He's creaking,"

"I can only do this for about 30 to 40 seconds, but that's all the time I need to beat this guy. With this I'm unbeatable," Kirishima then started to charge towards the man breaking each blade that was fired at him.

"I'll blow you away," the man fired a beam of blades directly at Kirishima, but the student continued to break through it,

"The people behind me still haven't filed yet, I need to take all these blades or they'll get hurt. I need to keep going and endure it. Keep his focus on me," Kirishima continued to charge towards the man enduring each blade. "No small tricks just be a bulldozer, Ultimate Move,"

"DIE!"

RED GUN TURRET

Kirishima punched the man with his hardened unbreakable fist, knocking the man back on the ground, the man fell defeated. "Yeah take that,"

"Wow, so young and ferocious," a citizen watched.

"So cool,"

"Please leave me alone," the thug cried.

"Eh, he's crying again," Kirishima thought.

"I just wanted to save my bros man, why couldn't you just let me go, I just wanted power"

"Well your a criminal and you shot my senpai I get how you feel but," Kirishima was interrupted.

"I don't give a damn about you," the man cried. It was then out of the man's back he launched himself away with his blades.

"Damn it. I'm such an idiot," Kirishima shouted.

"HAHA! Gullible brat! Now I can get…"

It was then suddenly the man was elbowed from the top of his head, Kirishima was shocked to see it was Gajeel.

The man fell to the ground, and he turned to Gajeel and fired more blades at him "Damn it more of you,"

Gajeel though easily broke the blades with a swipe of his arm "Really,"

"EH,"

Gajeel then punched the man in the face, sending him flying right into Fat.

"I got him" Fat caught the thug in his body "Good Job Red, but remember villains win if you're killed, beaten or they get away, that's why capture is the best option for us, so remember this Red, it's best if you make your opponent lose the will to fight then an all-out brawl," Fat then released the now unconscious man from his fat.

Kirishima was shocked at what he saw "wow it took my all just to beat him but Redfox-senpai and Fat took him down in seconds,"

Gajeel then smirked at Kirishima when he saw him "Not bad, for a first-year,"

Kirishima smiled at the complimented "Thank you,"

"Hey kid what's your hero name, I want to know the name of the man who saved our shops,"

Kirishima smiled at the adoring citizens.

"Its Red Riot,"
