Danny and Booette enter the Astral Hall, causing Booette to look around the room sadly.
"Are you okay?" Danny asked.
"Yes. This room was the last time I saw Mom and Dad." She said, looking down.
Danny felt bad and softly grabs her hand. Booette looks at him and smiles. However, Danny notices some unlit candles around the room. He let go of her one and blew some fire on them. Once the candles were lit, they turned purple and Mask Ghosts appear. They work together to remove the Masks and caught them. The lights turn on and they found another piece of Secrt.
"Hey, if you need some alone time..." Danny started.
"I'm fine. I'll never forget them. Even if they aren't my real parents, I know they still loved me. Funny, I remember dad being scared of ghosts before they started living here." Booette said.
"Huh, my parents would start blasting them first," Danny said.
"Why?" Booette asked.
"My parents believe all ghosts are evil. Even the harmless ones. But from what I can tell, none of the ghosts are evil, they're just being forced into doing bad things. Though, it would be hard explaining that to Mom and Dad." Danny sighs.
Booette sighs. She was aware that not all humans were nice to ghosts. But hearing how some would destroy them because they believe to be evil was wrong. Maybe this was why Danny was panicking when she ask him out. He was afraid that if they found out about her, they would attack her.
"Look, I won't hate your parents for attacking me. But if they think I'm evil, then that's another thing. I asked for your help, I got to know you, and you haven't run from this place once. Your parents are wrong about ghosts. If they can that I was raised by humans, then they have no business calling themselves Ghost Hunters." She said.
Danny blinks and sighs. They turned to the door and enter the Observatory Room.
"WOW!" Danny said, shocked.
"Oh, yeah! I remember this room! Dad would let me help him with the star maps he made. I see that the old telescope is still here." Booette smiles.
"May I?!" Danny asked, excited.
Booette giggles and nods. Danny rushed up and peeks through it.
"Wow! So many stars. Hey! I can see the moon too!" Danny said, smiling.
"Um, Danny?" Booette said, surprised.
"Hm? What's up?" Danny asked, pulling away from the telescope.
He notices Booette looking at something and turns as well. To his shock, part of the room was gone. In its place was a start night sky and the moon.
"What the?!" Danny asked.
"It's fake," Booette said, sighing.
"It is?" Danny asked.
"Yes. The Evil Spirit must have been trying to get your hopes up." She said.
Danny sighs. He then spotted something in the middle. Using the telescope, Danny could make out a flower in the middle.
"Huh, is that a flower?" Danny asked.
Booette looks and gasps.
"That's mom's locket!" She gasps.
Knowing that it belong to Booette's mother, Danny tried to think of a way to get there. He then spotted a shooting star before getting an idea. He waits for another one and sucks it up. Since it was too big, Danny couldn't suck it in completely. Reminding himself that the room was fake, he aim at the moon and fires. He was shocked to see the moon blow up and a stary path appeared.
"Danny?" Booette asked, surprised.
"Wasn't expecting that," Danny said, sheepishly.
Booette rolled her eyes but smiles. They walk down the path before picking up the locket. Danny saw her open it and smile. He wanted to see what her human parents look like, but she shut it before he could see.
Danny and Booette walked back down to the first floor. The lights were still on, making the area free from most ghosts. It didn't take them long to reach the locked door and opened it. Inside, Booette saw another one of her friends, Slim Bankshot.
"Slim." She said, seeing the ghost floating around the pool table.
"Is he okay?" Danny asked.
"Slim claims to be a renowned Pool Player. But no one has seen him play. Dad gave him the Billiards Room to practice in. He hasn't left since and he would let anyone play." Booette sighs.
Danny looks at the Ghosts and sighs. He walks up and said, "My turn to play."
"Quiet, I'm thinking over my next shot," Slim said, not looking at him.
Danny sighs before grabbing a pool stick. He walks up to the white ball and hit it.
"I didn't you played," Booette said, surprised.
"I don't. He's holding up the game." Danny said.
"Hey! You ruin my shot, you little punk!" Slim shouted.
Danny knew that would also get him to attack, but there weren't many things in the room he could use. He notices one of the balls flying toward him and caught it. He then aims at Slim and fires, knocking the ghost for a loop. Slim put up a bit of a fight, but Danny caught him with ease. The lights turned on and Scert fell out of his hiding place.
"Princess, it's good to see you." He said.
"I'm glad you're okay, Scert. Your body is in the Main Lobby." She said.
"Thank you. Oh, and Slim was lying. He has done nothing but walked around the table the whole time." Scert said before flying out of the room.
Booette rolled her eyes. That answers that question. Danny heard the door close to them unlock and went towards it. They both enter it and found themselves in the Projection Room.
"Huh, Mom was a bit of an old fashion person when it came to this room. She blames her parents for not going past this kind of phase." Booette said.
Danny walks up and turns on the Projection. Booette screams when she felt something grabbing her and tries to pull the ghost off her. Danny quickly flashed the Grabber, making it let go of her. He sucks it up and smiles. It fade when another Grabber grabs him and started choking him. Booette flew up and punches the ghost off of him. Deciding to stand back to back, Danny caught the Grabbers before the lights turn on.
"Those were a lot stronger," Danny said, rubbing his neck.
Booette nodded before spotting a chest. She opens it and found a tear bear.
"Peek-a-Boo! I wonder what happen to you!" Booette said, surprised.
"A childhood toy of yours?" Danny asked.
"Yes. I slept with this bear a lot when I was little boo. My dad gave this to me on my third birthday." Booette said.
Danny smiles. Reminded him of Jazz. But he wasn't going to tease her about it. Jazz was his sister, it was his job to annoy her. Booette is also a ghost. Teasing her was not a good idea.
"Come on, we got one more room on this floor to take care of." She said, putting the bear away.
Danny nods. He turns to exit the room before he felt something hurting his arm.
"Are you okay?" Booette asked, worried.
"Yeah. It's nothing." Danny said, unsure.
Danny didn't get what was happening. It almost felt like something was trying to break free of him.
First Floor Hallway,
Danny sighs as they finally reached the Twins Room. He unlocks the door and steps in. Danny saw that room looked more like a little kids' room and even a bunk bed. They heard the sound of little kids laughing and Booette sighs.
"Henry and Orville. Come out right now!" Booette called out.
Danny watched as two kids appeared, looking like each other, only one was wearing a red shirt and the other had a blue one.
"Hello, Princess." The twins said and Danny felt something familiar.
"Henry and Orville. No games, I know that the Evil spirit has you under his control." Booette said, but they notices Danny instead.
"Hey, Mister! Want to play a game?" They asked him.
"Um..." Danny said, remembering what happened the last time he played a game with some ghosts.
"We're playing hide-and-seek! You're it." Henry said.
"Go outside. We call you when we're ready." Orville said.
"Hey! Are you two listening to me?!" Booette said.
Danny sighs. He grabs Booette's hand and pulls her out of the room.
"Danny?" She asked.
"If they are anything like kids, they're not going to listen to you. Besides, I get the feeling that we going to fight them no matter what." Danny said.
Booette sighs. Danny was right. With the Evil Spirit's power in them, trying to talk to her friends into giving up wasn't working.
"Okay, we're ready!" They heard.
Danny turns to go back in, but Booette stops him.
"Danny, a little tip. The twins like to trick people, making them think they hide in places that match their colors. Don't fall for that." She whispers, in case the twins could hear them.
Danny nods and steps inside the room. Danny notices the boxes in the room and sighs. Remembering Booette's tip, Danny uses the Poltergust to see which box they were hiding in. After seeing the boxes shake, which was the colors they were wearing, Danny opens the boxes, and the twins flew out.
"HEY! No fair! Cheater!" The twins said.
"Hey, you didn't say I couldn't have help," Danny told them.
The twins grew angry before they disappeared. Danny saw them reappear only one was in an airplane and the other one was in a car. Danny watched as one of the twins dropped Ghost Bombs before diving out of the way. He started to suck up the airplane, thinking he should get rid of the air strike first. He notices the other twin driving towards him before Booette pops out of the floor, using her Boo face to force the twin to try and turn away. Both twins were thrown off their toys and were caught in the Poltergust. The lights turn on and a chest appeared.
Danny opens it to find a book.
"That's my favorite bedtime story! The Princess's Hero!" Booette said, taking the book.
She looked over it the Book, Danny thought back to something he remember.
"Didn't Madame Clairvoya say she'll help us if we brought back five things?" He asked.
Booette looks up and remembers that as well.
"She did! Maybe she can find out what the Evil Spirit wants with my crown and why he's infecting everyone with his power." Booette said.
"Let's go," Danny said, turning from her.
However, neither of the two notices that Danny's eyes turn red for a second before they fade back to blue when they left the room.
And that will be all for this chapter. I don't remember if I have thought of five things that they had to get, but I didn't feel like looking back to make sure. Anyways, A few more of Booette's friends were caught and it appears the Evil Spirit's power is trying to take over Danny, but it's not strong enough yet. I'll see if I can finish up Area 3 in the chapter. And yes, the Lemon will be reposted once it's done.
