"Now James, you are going to be on your best behavior while we get school supplies." Ginny warned her 15-year-old son, "This is your sister's first year, and your father has to guide Dudley and Harriette through Diagon Ally, understand?"
"Yes Mum." James Sirius Potter groaned.
"So no running off, and don't you dare try to prank your cousins. Especially the Dursleys."
"Yes Mum."
Ginny nodded then turned to James's best friend Jupiter Black, a secret descendant of Sirius's Granduncle Regulus Black I. The Potters had taken custody of him and his brother Neptune during the summer, after they learned that the pair were being abused by their homophobic parents. "Same goes for you Jupiter. The last thing I want is someone coming after you."
"Yes Mrs. Potter." Jupiter answered, "I understand."
"Good." Ginny said with a nod, then the family was off, meeting the Dursleys and Harry at the Leaky Caldron.
Harry smiled as his cousins looked around in amusement and bewilderment, fondly recalling his first time in Diagon Ally.
"This place is so cool!" Harriette exclaimed as she looked around. "Oh Harry, is that the bank you broke into?"
"Yes Hari, it is." Harry answered with a fondness edged in annoyance, "However that was in wartime. I'd never do that in peacetime."
"Sure you wouldn't." Dudley replied, with a hint of his old self peeping through, although Harry could tell he meant no harm.
After giving a chuckle and a slight shake of his head, Harry lead them to Gringotts and exchanged their currencies. While they were there, another family entered.
"Hari?"
Harriette turned to see a friend from school, with his mother and a man she didn't know, "Jordan?"
After a brief moment of examination, the two ran to each other and started chatting excitedly. The amazement of the wizarding word, and how both discovered their magic.
"I always knew about magic, because my Great-Aunt Lily was a witch, and she passed that on to her son and grandchildren." Harriette explained, "But it wasn't until I made a pencil float that I knew I was a witch too!"
"That's amazing!" Jordan replied, "I wish I had magical cousins."
"Don't worry, I can teach you all that they taught me until school starts." Harriette happily told him.
Jordan's face lit up, and eagerly listened to Harriette explain the Wizarding World to him, including the war that ended over 20 years before.
As the children talked, the man who had accompanied Jordan and his mother looked at Harry and Dudley.
"Hello Potter." The man politely greeted.
"Hello Macmillan." Harry greeted back, "Who's this your guiding?"
"Amy Miller." Ernie Macmillan answered, "I'll be teaching her son Jordan next month."
"Hello." Amy greeted, "Harry Potter, and Dudley Dursley, right?"
"Yes, I remember you from Harriette's birthday party." Dudley answered.
After chatting and exchanging money, the two groups made their way to the robe shop, where they met up with the rest of the Potter-Weasley family.
After happy greetings and introductions, Daphne Travers (née Greengrass) entered with her 13-year-old nephew Scorpius Malfoy, and 11-year-old daughter Circe Travers.
"Albus! Neptune!" Scorpius excitedly cried.
"Scorpius!" The foster brothers cried.
The three friends ran to each other and happily started chatting.
