Selfishgecko: Well I'm glad that I managed to integrate Jade into the fights that would go well enough. As for canon… Well I plan to divert from canon from vol 4 onwards, it should be interesting to see the result.

Chapter 15

Scores to Dance About

A week had passed since the team had arrested Torchwick and it was then that Blake told Jade that Adam Taurus was her ex-boyfriend. Raphael then confirmed that Adam is indeed Blake's original boyfriend and that their relationship is an abusive one at that. He also stated that another reason Blake left the Fang was because Adam Taurus' increasing lust of blood against humanity drove Blake to leave him. Jade and was understandably horrified that Blake endured such a person for a long time.

As of now, everyone could be seen in the arena as Pyrrha had the advantage against team CRDL and was winning despite being outnumbered 4 to 1. Everyone could be seen cheering for the invincible girl's success, but not everyone. Jade on the other hand had been talking to Raphael about some… details.

"So Raphael, the next part will be here right?" Jade asked as he watched Pyrrha.

"Yup, Pyrrha versus Mercury. I bet ya want to beat him hard yes? Besides, it would be nice to disrupt their plans."

"What plans?" Jade mentally asked as Raphael just smiled.

"Well… Cinder and her gang are now gathering info on everyone here for their plot. So what better way to screw them up is by preventing them from gathering information on their opponents."

"I like what you're thinking. Besides… I want to give them some payback. Mercury will be the first one." Jade sadistically smiled while Blake noticed his smile.

"Jade? What is with that smile on your face?" Blake asked.

"Oh, don't mind me. Just thinking of something good." Jade gave his vague reason but Blake is not convinced.

"Are you sure?" She asked back.

"And that's the match." Glynda announced as the buzzer went off.

"Lucky shot." Cardin muttered like a sore loser as he tried to get up from the floor only to collapse.

"Well done, Miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament." Glynda complemented Pyrrha as she checked her scroll.

"Thank you, professor." Pyrrha thanked Glynda before she walked away from the arena.

Glynda could be seen tapping her Scroll before she spoke. "Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow, but we have time for one more sparring match."

Glynda then looked around at the observing students before asking again. "Any volunteers? Ms. Belladonna and Mr. Grayson, both of you have been talking a lot in my class. Why don't you bo-"

Mercury then raises his hand as he interrupts Glynda. "I'll do it."

"Mercury, is it? Very well, let's find you an opponent." Glynda then looked at her scroll before Jade then spoke.

"Mrs Goodwitch, I want to be Mercury's opponent for our last sparring match." Jade says as all of Cinder's gang eyes went wide as his own team looked at him with surprise at Jade's eagerness to fight Mercury. All except Blake.

"Well, actually, I wanna fight... her." Mercury then pointed at Pyrrha.

"Me?" Pyrrha asked only for Glynda to nod her head in disagreement.

I'm afraid Miss Nikos has just finished the match. I recommend you accept Jade as your opponent for today." Glynda says as Jade gives Mercury a challenging look.

"Fine." Mercury mutters and Jade gets off his seat and walks towards the locker room.

Both Jade and Mercury then walked into the arena as both of them could be seen visibly sizing up against each other. Jade then asked Glynda as if he was not sizing up Mercury earlier.

"Mrs Goodwitch, I wish to modify the rules slightly." Jade raised his hand which caught Mercury off guard.

"And what would you like to change Mr Grayson?" Glynda questioned.

Jade gave a smirk and then he spoke. "Only one. Neither of us cannot forfeit the match."

This resulted in gasps and chatter among the audience as Cinder's group can be seen giving Jade the death glares which some noticed. Especially Blake who now understood Jade's plan. Glynda only raised an eyebrow at Jade's strange request.

"Mr Grayson. May I know why you wished to have this rule in place?"

"Well, Mrs Goodwitch, I believe in the tournament, you cannot just forfeit all of a sudden. After All, I believe that it should be fought till one reach red in aura levels." Jade gave his 'poor' reason.

Mrs Goodwitch could be seen processing Jade's reason before nodding and agreeing to Jade's request for this spar. "Very well Mr Grayson, I will allow it for this match only."

Jade just smiled as he walked to his corner of the arena as his mask formed on his face while taking out his guns. Mercury just growled at Glynda's choice to accept Jade's request as he too also readies himself to fight.

Emerald also could be seen glaring at Jade as well. After all, she had not known much of him when they tried to recruit him years back but, now? Jade is getting bolder… He had already got Torchwick arrested way too early. Now? He is stopping Mercury from studying the invincible girl. Jade must know something that she or her Cinder does not know.

The buzzer then rang signalling the start of the match. Mercury then rushes in for a kick as Jade begins shooting at him while keeping his distance, Mercury then begins to dodge and sends a kick to his head only for Jade to drop his guns and grab Mercury's foot followed by swinging and throwing Mercury away, Mercury than landed on his back and then kicks his legs into the air, spins on his hands, and does a double back-handspring. The two stop and stare at each other as Jade points both his guns at Mercury and begins to taunt him.

"What's the matter? Afraid after I changed the rules? There's only one way this will go, with either one of us down on the ground. So come! Mercury Black! Son of Markus Black! Let's see if you can uphold his legacy as an assassin and murderer!"

At the mention of Markus Black's name, the whole arena gasps in surprise and fear while Mercury's expression darkens greatly…

"Where have you heard that name…" Mercury questions Jade while his voice full of nothing but hate, Emerald could be heard screaming at him to calm down but he could not after hearing his father's name.

"Oh… just that a little bird (Raphael did this) told me that he did such awful things to poor you. Or how you are a failure of a son compared to him." Jade continued to mock Mercury as he could be seen shaking with rage.

"YOU BASTARD!" Mercury yelled in rage as he charged straight at Jade to give him a beating of a lifetime, however Jade stood there as Mercury charged at him with berserk rage.

Mercury then swung his legs at Jade's head only to not land when Jade did something that caught everyone off guard, Jade then dodged his attack and used his semblance to rip his pants up, which exposed his extensive leg prosthetics to the world. Another wave of shocked gasps can be heard on the stage as Jade then fired his bullets point blank to the back of Mercury's back before back dodging and transformed his guns into a sniper rifle and pointed it straight at Mercury as he got up.

"My! My! Look at that! Your father also took your legs! What a poor boy you are!" Jade laughed as he fired his sniper at Mercury as he got up.

All of team RWBY could be seen glancing at each other once Mercury's prosthetics came into view, but only two questions now exist in all their minds. How did Jade know that Mercury had prosthetics? Though they guessed it is due to how both of them had met in the past. And the other… Why did Jade do it? Was it to humiliate him? Or was there a bigger picture that they don't know and he knows.

"SHUT UP!" Mercury yells as he then dodges and fired some homing rounds at Jade who the dodges it and charged at Mercury, both clashed till Jade then headbutt Mercury and trips him with his sword, Mercury then rolled out of the way and send a kick at Jade's leg which landed, Jade grunted in pain then used his semblance to trip Mercury to the floor.

Jade then pounced on the downed Mercury and shoved an electric dust grenade down Mercury's collar and punching him in the face thrice before jumping away as it detonates, Mercury screamed in pain as his Prosthesis malfunctioned and disable temporarily, Jade was then clapping his hands as he walked towards a beaten Mercury before taunting him again.

"What a shame… the legacy of the assassin Markus Black, Beaten and broken due to his anger and hubris. I expected more from you… What a shame." Jade then took out Thorn and fired a shot to Mercury's chest which put him into the red and ended the round with a buzzer buzzing in the background.

"And that's that, Jade Grayson is the winner of this final spar for today. Mercury Black please stay behind; I wish to talk to you personally." Glynda announces as Mercury gets up while groaning.

"That is all for today. And remember, the dance is this weekend. But you all have your first mission on Monday. I will not accept any excuses." Glynda continued as everyone began to leave the room. Emerald then walked up to her teammate and asked him.

"This is not good. Jade knows too much..." Mercury nodded as he angrily watched Jade leave with his team before Glynda walked up to him.

"I still can't believe that we have an assassin's son here..." Weiss voiced their thoughts as their team walked towards the exit.

"Jade that was mean…" Ruby pointed out.

"Like I said before, I will use anything I have to win." Jade says back.

"Does that also include taunting him about his life, father and legs?" Yang says

"It makes him lose control and allow me to win. Then yes." Jade responded immediately.

"Cold…" Yang muttered.

"Well besides that… That was awesome Jade You were like! (Insert fighting noises here)" Ruby tried to change the situation as team SSSN could be seen outside.

"Hey, guys! How are you all doing?"

"Ah, Sun, good to see you again." Jade smiled as he shook his hand.

"So how's your spar?" Sun questioned.

"Oh you know… I ripped Mercury's pants off." Jade nonchalantly told Sun.

"What?" Neptune asked with confusion at what he had heard.

"Turns out that Mercury had prosthetic legs." Yang was next to join.

"And that Jade made Mercury really mad at him." Weiss uttered.

"Besides that… I heard that there is a dance coming up later this weekend, so are you taking Blake to it?" Sun then asked Jade.

"Well…" Jade looked at Blake who nodded at him before he looked back and continued. "Yes we are both going to the dance. It does sound nice, yes?"

"If you were to ask me, I think it is lame." Sun then voiced how he felt about the dance.

"Have you been to one?" Jade asked him.

"Well… no, have you?" Sun asked back.

"Nope, but I always wanted to go to one with Blake." Jade says back to Sun with a smile on his face.

"Well, we should get going now. It was nice talking to you Sun." Jade says back

"Well see ya!" Sun waved as all of them said their goodbyes and made their way back to their Dorm.

Much later…

All of team RWBY (and Jade) could be seen doing their own business. Blake and Jade were on their beds and cuddling it out, Yang could be seen messing around with her scroll, Ruby on some comic books she borrowed from the library and Weiss inside the bathroom.

The team could be considered content, well except Jade while he is cuddling with Blake, he was having a mental talk with Raphael about Cinder's plot.

"So Raphael, the next attempt by Cinder would be on the dance day itself?" Jade asked.

"Yup, Normally Ruby would be the one that would handle it but… No doubt she could use some help dealing with her. And besides… If you were there, you can then point out to Ozpin and Ironwood that you know her attack and then you can point out that Cinder is the one who is planting the virus into the CCTs."

"But why?"

"With the general bringing a whole lot of androids, the virus is meant to corrupt them all and make them go rogue and attack everyone." Raphael finished what he said and then he was interrupted when Blake called Jade.

"Jade?"

"Hmm? Yes Blake?" Jade then looked at Blake before rubbing her ears and she purred in response before she then asked him a question.

"You seemed to have something on your mind, what is it?"

"Well… I was thinking that I need to get a suit for our dance. What about you? You would need to get a dress, yes?" Jade sort of lied to Blake and changed the topic to about dresses.

"Yea… dress…"

"I think it would make you even more beautiful than before you put it on." Jade just smiled as Blake blushed at Jade's complement.

It was then a knock came from the doors, and Weiss was the one who opened the door to see Jaune with a guitar.

"Weiss!" Jaune sings before Weiss slams the door in his face.

"Oh, come on, open the door! I promise not to sing." Jaunes muffled voice can be heard outside the door as Weiss opens it again.

"I lied! Weiss Schu-nee, will you accompany me, to the dance on... Sunday!?" Jaune sang again as Jade could be heard sniggering on the bed with Blake.

"Are you done?" She asked.

"Yes?" Jaune confirmed with a shrug.

"No." Weiss then shuts the door in his face. Turning around, she sees the others staring at her except Jade who starts laughing out loud.

"What?" Weiss asked.

"And that is why they call you the Ice Queen." Yang was the first one to answer her as Ruby finally collapsed on her bed.

"All my life, boys have only cared about the perks of my last name. Besides, I already have a date in mind."

"Oh you mean Nep Nep?" Jade asked as everyone started laughing (except Weiss) about what Jade called Neptune.

"What do you mean?" Weiss angrily asked while blushing in embarrassment.

"I meant Neptune yes? Nep Nep is a nickname I thought of him." as Yang and Ruby start laughing again as Blake giggles with Jade.

"Well… yes…"

"Then I wish you luck with it." Jade just smiled at Weiss as she nodded back at him.

Cinder and her team were in their dorm. Emerald is sitting on the floor while looking at her Scroll, and Mercury is lying on the ground and reading a comic book. While Cinder is looking through her scroll which shows Pyrrha's portrait.

"Ah, the invincible girl." Cinder smiles as she looks through her bio.

"She's smart, but I wouldn't say invincible." Mercury started out.

"Do tell."

"Her Semblance is Polarity. But you'd never know just by watching. She also doesn't broadcast her power, so it usually puts her opponent at a disadvantage."

"Hmm... People assume that she's fated for victory, when she's really taking fate into her own hands. Interesting. Add her to the list." Cinder casually asked Emerald to add her to the list.

"You should be able to take her no problem." Mercury says as he continues reading his comic book."

"It's not about overpowering the enemy. It's about taking away what power they have. And we will, in time."

"Cinder, we also have Jade to worry about. He managed to know what I was planning to do… And he managed to tip the headmistress off that something is not right and found out that I have prosthetic legs."

"Jade Grayson... Seems awfully convenient for him to constantly interrupt our plans… First with him managing to arrest Torchwick, and now stopping your attempts to gather information on the invincible girl."

"Cinder, we should have killed him now and there. Now your plans need constant changing if he is going to keep on interfering." Emerald says her thoughts.

"Oh we will rid ourselves of Jade soon… We just need to be patient for the right time."

"I hate waiting." Mercury grumbled.

"Don't worry, Mercury. We have a fun weekend ahead of us."

It was the next day and Ruby could be seen resting her head on her hand and staring into the distance before she was startled by Weiss slamming their palms on the table she was at.

Weiss smiled as she asked "I need you to pick a tablecloth." Weiss then slides two squares over to Ruby, both seeming to be similar shades of white which is very hard to tell apart.

"Aren't they both the same?" Ruby says back with confusion.

"I don't even know why I asked!" Weiss just sighs with frustration as Yang Jade and Blake can be seen helping Yang carry loudspeakers. Jade then put the loudspeaker he was carrying on the floor and went to Weiss.

"Is something wrong Weiss?" Jade asked.

"Oh! Jade! I need you to pick a tablecloth." Weiss then holds up the table cloths in her hands."

Jade then took both of them and felted them both for a while, he then returned both of them to Weiss.

"The one on my right. It is smoother than the tablecloth on my left." Jade says as Weiss nods and smiles at him.

"Thank you Jade."

"No problem Weiss." Jade says back as both of them walk towards Blake and Yang talking out.

"Yang! No fog machines!" Weiss yelled at Yang.

"Weiss! I thought we agreed: No doilies!" Yang yelled at her back.

"If I don't get doilies, you don't get fog machines!"

"I think having both would be cool, what do you think about it Blake?" Jade asked Blake who was beside him.

"Hm… Yea, both would be good." Blake agrees with her boyfriend as the door opens up revealing both Sun and Neptune.

"Your dance is gonna have fog machines?" Neptune asked.

"Oh hey Nep Nep." Jade casually says back as Sun, Yang and Ruby start laughing, Blake on the other hand, starts giggling and while Neptune just looks confused.

"Nep Nep?! Jade, when did you come up with that nickname?" Sun asked as he tried to keep his laughter under control.

"Just yesterday." Jade just gave Nep Ne- I mean, Neptune a shit eating grin as Weiss walked up to him and acted all sweet before speaking.

"We were thinking about it…"

"That's pretty cool."

"You ladies and gentlemen are all excited for dress-up?" Sun asked as Jade snorted.

"Probably, are you?" Jade asked back.

"Pfft... Yeah, right!" Ruby was next to speak.

"Laugh all you want. I'll be turning heads tomorrow night!" Yang confidently says out.

"Is that a bet I'm smelling Yang? Jade offered a challenge to Yang.

"Oh you batcha Jade!" Both Jade and Yang could be seen grinning at each other while Blake just sighed and smiled at them.

"What are you two wearing?" Weiss ignored her team's banter as she addressed both Sun and Neptune.

"Uuhhh... this?" Sun gestures to his current shirtless outfit before steps up and holds a hand in front of his friend's face.

"Ignore him for he knows not what he says." Neptune states.

"Hey, I may have moved to Mistral, but I grew up in Vacuo. It's not exactly a shirt-and-tie kind of place." Sun says as he knocks his buddy's hand away from his face.

"Yeah, we noticed." Yang says as she mirrors Ruby's, Jade's, Blake' and Weiss' looks of being told something extremely obvious.

"Thank you for stating the obvious Sun." Jade snarked as Blake giggled beside him

Much later after team RWBY had finished setting up the

'"Hey Blake. Do you want to come with me to Vale? I need to get a suit. Besides, you could also get your dress as well." Jade suggested an idea.

"Sure, it is nice to go with just the two of us." Blake smiled back at Jade as both of them then took their hands and made their way to the sky dock.

After some time…

The cat faunus couple then arrived on the streets of Vale where many people, both faunus and humans can be seen walking around for the preparations of the Vytal Festival. It was then that both Couples found a clothes store called Stitched Io. It was then which both of them found their clothing they wished to wear for the dance tomorrow.

Once both of them were done, both of them went to get some ice cream before heading back to Beacon to prepare for the dance the next day as Jade continued to think to himself about tomorrow.

After all, Raphael told him that Cinder is planning to infiltrate the CCTs and install a virus into it, but he couldn't understand why Raphael was so nervous when he asked him numerous times about what will happen during the Festival.

Was it because something really bad will happen? This made Jade somewhat uncomfortable that his twin (soul wise) was hiding information from him. But he guessed that it must really really be bad if Raphael does not want to talk about it which in turn made Jade more restless about it. Shaking his thoughts off it for another time, Jade then continued to cuddle with Blake on the Bullhead back to Beacon.

The next day on the dance…

Jade could be seen in the ballroom much earlier than others would come by as he was needed to check whether everything was in place, he was also in a suit which he had just bought yesterday. What Jade was currently wearing could make him look like he comes from a rich family but it fits his needs to him at least, he wore a white buttoned up shirt with long sleeves, a black vest, green tie, black pants and shoes, and white gloves to go along with it. His black vest has strings of gold attached to some parts of his vest. Included alongside it, the vest also had a Jade's emblem in white on it as well.

Once everyone had arrived at the ballroom, which had streamers hanging through glass chandeliers, pink and blue balloons were also everywhere in the room. It was then that Blake arrived in her dress while Jade was talking to Yang.

"Blake!" Jade called her as he walked towards her before he then complimented her.

"You look amazing in that dress." Jade just smiled at her as he extended his hand out to her for a dance.

"I think you look really handsome in that suit of yours." Blake just smiled as she took Jade's hand.

"How about a dance?" Jade asked as both of them hugged it out.

"I'd love to."

Both of them made their way to dance and enjoy themselves. It was then that Yang requested a dance to Jade. Blake allowed it and then both of them swapped partners. Yang with Jade, Blake with Sun. After a while they switched back and continued to dance for a while.

"Jade I'm surprised that you can dance this well." Blake complemented Jade as they both decided to take a break from it.

"Well… this is my first-time dancing and I'm surprised as you are that I can dance."

"Really? It looked like you had experience dancing to me. You sure that this is your first-time dancing?"

"Yea, it is. Though I'm glad it worked out somehow, hey Blake, want to get a drink?" Jade then asked her.

"Sure, a drink does sound nice after a dance." Both of them then walked towards the refreshment table that had both Jaune and Ruby there, only to see Jaune walking off towards somewhere.

"Hey Ruby." "hey glorious leader." the faunus couple called up Ruby as she noticed them and waved at them."

Ruby giggled at Jade calling her glorious leader before calling them back. "Oh hey guys!"

"Ruby, are you not dancing with anyone else?" Blake asked her leader as Jade walked towards the punch bowl to get both himself and Blake some punch.

"Well… no, I'm just socially awkward and I can't talk to people." Ruby explained to herself as Jade arrived back and passed Blake a glass of Punch.

"Thank you Jade." Blake thanked Jade back as both of them took a sip of punch.

"So… Where did Jaune go?" Jade then asked.

"Oh.. uh, he walked somewhere."

"Somewhere?" Both faunus asked at once.

"Well Weiss arrived at the dance alone and Jaune went to find Nep Nep." Ruby giggled at herself calling Neptune, Nep Nep as the couple laughed and giggled with her.

"You guys enjoy your time here. I need to go find Yang." Ruby waved as she then walked off to find her sister.

Both couples continue to talk to each other and drink punch together till they hear laughter coming from the dance and seeing Jaune in a dress. Both of them were caught off guard by it and just enjoyed the scene of Jaune and Pyrrha dancing.

"Jade, it's time, if you wish to take Blake with you then go ahead I'm not stopping you." Raphael manifests briefly beside Jade and tells him that it is time.

"I see… Thank you Raphael" Jade mentally thanked Raphael as he then squeezed Blake's hand to get her attention.

"Hey Blake, as nice as this party is. It hurts my ears; do you wish to follow me out? I do like to see the stars and the peace and quiet of the night." Jade then asked Blake.

"Hm? Sure, I do like to have some peace and quiet time to ourselves… Or maybe…" Blake looked at Jade while licking her lips, her eyes also showing a tinge of lust in them. (oh no, kitty is thirsty.)

"Right. Then let us then go out." Jade blushed rapidly as he tried to keep a straight face as Blake giggled at his reaction. They both walked out only to see someone running on the roofs.

"Blake, did you see what I see?" Jade asked his girlfriend.

"Yes I do… Should we do something about it?"

"Whoever that was, that person is heading towards the main CCTs network... I don't like the look of this, let's go grab our gear." Jade looked in the direction of the mysterious person heading before facing his girlfriend with determination in his eyes.

Blake just nodded as both of them quickly ran to pick up their weapons only to run into Ruby.

"Ruby!?" Both of them yelled in surprise. Well Jade had to fake it to not look suspicious.

"Blake! Jade! What are you doing here?" Ruby asked

"We saw someone on the roofs heading for the CCTs" Jade explained.

"Yea I saw someone heading there!" Ruby agreed.

"Then let's don't waste time and head there now, we don't know what that person is planning, so the faster we stop them the better." Blake says as everyone nods and rushes to get their gear.

Much later where all three of them are in the elevator…

"Jade, who do you think would infiltrate the CCTs?" Blake asked Jade as he stared at the elevator doors while brandishing his guns in his hand.

"I do not know, but I think we will find out sooner than later." Jade answered back.

The elevator door then opens and the gang walks out as Ruby calls out.

"Hello? Is anyone there? Hello?" As if that did the trick, the masked woman steps out from the shadows.

"Excuse me? You know, it's not a masquerade party, so why don't you take off that-!" Ruby tries to call out but the masked woman produces a container of dust from her belt expelling a cloud that glows. Condensing into glass shards that go flying at the gang.

"Shatter!" Jade yelled as all three of them dodged the incoming glass shards.

Both Jade and Blake then charge at the masked woman as Ruby fires at her, the battle ensues as she blocks each shot with her hand as parts of the outfit glow. She once again summons a pair of blades, and blocks both Blake and Jade's coordinated attack. She then jumps back and combines the blades into a bow and fires three arrows. One hits Blake's shadow clone while Jade destroyed the other one, the last arrow hits near Ruby which sends her back.

"Blake, check on Ruby! You are not going away!" Jade yelled as both the masked women and Jade clashed again. Jade then whispered to her as both of them were really close to each other.

"Cinder Fall…"

That was all Jade needed to say as she noticeably flinched which allowed Jade to kick her hard, this sent Cinder back far as she then fired at the floor in front of the three as the elevator opened up to reveal Ironwood, Jade snarled that Cinder disappeared as the smoke cleared away as he holstered his guns. Before looking at Ironwood.

"General, we got an infiltrator here." Jade says as he walks up to Blake and Ruby.

"I can see that Mr Grayson. I recommend you three get some rest now. Tomorrow morning, come and see me at Ozpin's office, we have much to discuss." Ironwood just said as all three of them went down the elevator.

"That could have gone better." Blake was first to speak.

"Yup it could. But I know who that is."

"You know who that is?" Ruby asked.

Jade just nodded before he continued to speak. "That masked individual we saw was Cinder Fall."

"Cinder Fall here? Why?" Blake was next to say as Jade just sighed.

"I do not know." Jade just says back as the elevator doors open.

"Ruby can you go back first? I wish to have some alone time with Jade." Blake requested Ruby to leave them alone as Jade nodded.

"Oh, ok then, I will see you back in our dorm." Ruby then waved as she walked away as the couple looked at each other.

"Blake, have something on your mind?" Jade asked.

"Well…" Blake just licks her lips as she looks at Jade before she speaks again. "You did say that you want to have some time alone, yes?"

"Yeah, let's go to the roofs." Jade just chuckled and smiled as both of them made their way to the roofs which had some chairs and a table already placed there for both of them.

As Jade sat down on his chair, Blake seemingly declined to sit on her chair but instead she had other plans, she then sat on Jade's lap while hugging him and giggling at Jade's overall reaction to it.

"B-Blake! What are you doing?" Jade asked as his face flushed up.

"What's the matter? Don't like it?"

"I... I... We are in a public area. It's embarrassing…" Jade's face just continues to redden at it as he stutters.

"You are so cute when you stutter…" Blake continues to giggle at Jade before kissing him on the lips.

"I love you."

"And, I love you too Blake." Jade calmed down and returned the kiss.

Both just stared at each other's eyes and make out till their teammates called them as they all were going to have their first mission the next day. Both of them just sighed in disappointment that their time was interrupted but they will stop and go back to their dorm.

Authors notes

First of all, Blake tells Jade about her ex-boyfriend Adam Taurus. At this point Both of them trust each other greatly and also in the previous chapter, Blake also told Jade that they would talk about it so I wish to show that she did tell him about it. Of course I did not go to exact detail because I did not feel the need to make dialogues for them.

Ok, the next part will be on Jade versus Mercury. Jade is quite the pragmatic person overall, if he can cause his opponents to lose control for an advantage, he would. (Well except Yang because she is scary.) As we saw, Jade uses the fact that Mercury hated his father, so it makes sense he would get angry at anyone who mentioned his father, Jade also got this information from Raphael as well. Next would-be Jade exposing that Mercury had prosthetics for legs. This one can also be attributed to Raphael's plan to prevent the scene with Yang from happening in Vol 3.

Now, as why did Jade suggest to make the match a first to red aura only and no forfeiting? That was due to the fact that Raphael again pointed out that Mercury is gathering info. So what better way to screw his plans by preventing a forfeit from occurring in the first place. The other changes are pretty basic dialogue on how Blake is now acting differently or any of that stuff, or both of them leaving Beacon to go and grab their clothing for their dance together the next day.

Next we have the dance part in the ballroom, honestly I don't have much to say on this chapter other than I might have made Jade look too much like a butler instead of formal clothing. Tell me if I should change it in reviews.

Next is Blake joining Jade in coming after Cinder as she infiltrates the CCTs, as we know, Ruby was also there, so I made it that our faunus couple would run into Ruby on the way and then come over to Cinder's location. The fight did not really have much of a change but how I believe it would play out if Ruby had help. Of course Cinder still escapes (much to Jade's frustration.

Lastly, I find it weird how they just ended the episode just there. So I made it different that James told them to meet him at Ozpin's office the next day. There's also the scene at the end of this chapter which Blake and Jade making out. That is because Ruby banned them from doing it in the dorms and that Blake still wishes to do it but never had the time for it, so when they were going to be alone and everyone else were distracted with the dance, she wants to do it with her love. (I made this part up.)
