Welcome back all of you, as we now resume our story after two interludes. Also, HOLY SHIT did you guys see the trailer for Total War Warhammer III? The hype is real and I can't wait to play it! Oh! That gets me so excited! Anyways. Let's resume this story of Jade after I answer the reviews which we do not have. At all.

Chapter 22
Reawakening of the soul
"Your fight is not over yet little one. I suppose I could… bend the rules… After all, brother did it. And it would be a shame to see his hard work be removed all because of a minor case of death getting in the way..."
When Jade finally opened his eyes, he did not find himself in a hospital or in the fields in which he met Raphael. But instead, he finds himself in only darkness. It does not help that his wounds he got from Cinder are also with him.
Jade could stare at the stump that used to be his left hand, and also the fact that he can't see out of his left eye at all. His clothes were ragged and bloodied, all while there was a wound in his chest in which Cinder plunged her sword into him.
"Where am I…" Jade could only mutter as he could only come to one conclusion.
He is dead.
Tears began to pour from his eyes as he began to mope quietly, he died. They died. And his only thoughts were Blake. Jade could only cry at the thought of Blake losing him.
"Forgive me Blake…" Jade could only grieve about his death as he hugged his knees as he continued to cry. If this is the afterlife, then he is dead. There was no way he could keep his promise to her. The promise to be together.
It was then in which footsteps could be heard slowly getting louder towards him. But Jade paid no mind. It's not like it matters at all.
"Jade…" Raphael's voice could be heard as he walked towards Jade. He was no better; he had the same damage that Jade had received. But what's most interesting was that his face could be described by one word. Acceptance.
Raphael then placed his hand on Jade's shoulder. Jade noticeably flinched from Raphael's touch. Raphael could only sigh with sadness as well. Parts of him were disintegrating into golden specks of light that circled the two souls more notably from his wounds.
"Jade, our fight, no, your fight is not over yet." Raphael could only say as Jade finally looked up at him with puffy cheeks and tears streaming down his eye. Jade's eye widened as he noticed that Raphael was slowly disintegrating in front of him.
"What is happening to you?" Jade was for the most part, speechless. How could he not? His twin was disintegrating into golden lights that circle around the two of them.
"What's happening to me? I don't have an answer for that but… I know that whatever is happening to me, I can't stop it." Raphael gave his answer to him but, despite his attempt to keep a straight face. Jade could see it in his eye. He was afraid as well.
It was then in which someone else walked closer. One that caused Raphael to frown once he saw him. A being of darkness that Jade remembered from his dreams. The God of darkness.
"You… What the hell are you doing here." Raphael growled its presence.
"Ah, little Grayson and Goh. Shatter souls sharing a single body, now on the brink of death." The god of darkness speaks with humour in his voice.
"Is that?" Jade could only ask as Raphael nodded as he stood up to face it.
"Yea… The god of darkness."
The god chuckles when Raphael says his (its?) name. "Good to see that throughout the years, you are still around after what my brother did to lock you away. Raphael."
Raphael was getting really irritated that the god just ignored his question and was about to ask again only for the god to hold his hand out.
"And as for why I am here, I am here to make you a deal that I think both of you would be very interested in."
"And that is?" Jade then asked as he got up and stood next to his twin (Soul wise.) while Raphael just frowns.
"A way to cheat death of course, and the reunification of both your souls. Besides. My brother deems you both a failure at dealing with Salem." He explained.
"Failure!?" Both of them yelled together while the god just nodded.
"Yes, my brother deemed both of you a failure for… dying… And he seeks to remove both of you and start again. It is also why little Goh over there is slowly disintegrating. The power used to bind him to this world is slowly being removed."
"So we are being removed because we died!? Really?!"
"Yes." The god of darkness blatantly said.
Raphael just sighed and gave himself a facepalm. "So you want to get back at your brother?"
"I suppose you mortals could say that, after all. I spent much time on earth and I find it intriguing how humanity can survive without gods. It is fascinating to observe them do their daily task without Grimm in the way. And I find that we… overstepped ourselves when we took you away from home."
Raphael just huffed as he crossed his arms. This was new to him. The god of darkness finds humanity on earth interesting perhaps he isn't as bad as his brother. Who he could guess represents order. The authoritarian kind of order.
"What would happen when both of us reunite?" Jade then asks an important question.
"As for that little Grayson, your souls would be reunited and your aura pool would also increase as a result. As for your memories… let's just say that, both of your memories would merge. Just like Ozma or should I say, headmaster Ozpin but… he is dead again. So Ozma." The god of darkness shrugged.
"Ozma?" Jade, being the one out of the loop, turned to his twin for answers.
Raphael just sighed before explaining that Ozpin is an incarnate and his original name is Ozma. And that every time he dies he would end up in a new host that has similar 'wavelength'. (Whatever the fuck that is.)
Jade simply nodded as he listened to Raphael's explanation. All while the god of darkness, getting a bit impatient, coughed into his hand. (Wait, he can cough?!)
"Now that I have both your attention, do we have a deal?"
Both souls nodded in agreement. What do they have to lose? Jade could be alive again and be with Blake again. Raphael on the other hand can finally be alive again (somewhat.) and end this war that the brothers started to begin with. All because the god of light refused to help Salem. And also, to spite the god of light as well. Probably.
"Guess you need me to turn into the golden lights around us to merge us?"
"Just leave it to me little Goh." the god of darkness said as he held his hand out as all the golden light seemed to condense into a ball.
Raphael then faced his twin for the last time and said. "Thank you, for everything Jade, it was a pleasure knowing you. Good luck." Raphael let out a smile and wave as he finally disintegrated and joined together with the rest of it as all condensed into a ball of light.
The god of darkness then pushed the ball of light towards Jade as it entered his chest much to his surprise and in an instant, there's only one thing he could feel.
Pain.
Pain all over his body. It felt as if every single nerve in his body flared up all at once. His body hurts. His head hurts. Everything in his body hurts. And all he could do was cry in pain as his body spazzes out of control. And then the god of darkness watched him blacked out from all the pain.
Back to reality. Jade woke up with a splitting headache and all his and Raphael's memories all meshed together. This was going to take time to get used to. Jade then sat up from his bed and stared at where his left hand used to be.
"Right… Cinder took my hand and eye…" Jade could only mumble to himself as he touched the bandages covering half his face.
Jade then glanced around in the room he was in. It was a large hospital room. Though he finds it strange how he was given his very own room. (not like he is going to complain about.) It was then that he spotted Gambol Shroud on the chair. Blake's weapon.
"So she did not leave… Thank go- I mean Ohm. Oh... that's going to take some time to get used to..." Jade thought to himself as he then spotted his scroll and managed to reach for it. Only for the door open as Blake walked in.
Blake then noticed that Jade was fully awake and was reaching for his scroll on the table.
"Jade!" Blake could only yell in tears of joy as she rushed to Jade's side.
"Blake?" Jade's eyes widened when Blake walked into the room. He wanted to feel joy that Blake waited for him but… He can't.
A variety of emotions plague Jade's mind. Sadness, confusion and many more linger into his head. His soul was united but… Is he even Jade anymore? No. He is Jade. Just that he now possesses Raphael's memories as well and now knows what would happen in the future to a certain extent. Right?
Blake rushed to his side and hugged him all while sobbing. "Jade! You're alright… Do you have any idea how worried I am?!" she yelled into his chest as her ears folded downwards. Funny, is he all healed up already? The wonders of Remnant's health system and aura.
Jade then returned the hug as he tried his best to assure her. "I have a rough understanding of how worried you were. And I am sorry for doing this. Again."
"I… I… saw the state you were… there was blood everywhere… I thought I would lose you…" Blake hugged tighter despite it hurting Jade slightly but, he won't ask her to loosen it. Both of them need it.
"Yea… I couldn't let Pyrrha die. Not when I could have prevented it. Cinder was there and was about to finish her off."
"Yea she told me. She told me how you gave your life… for her…" Blake had trouble speaking as she continued to bury her face into his chest.
"I still live yes?" Jade could only give a sad smile.
"Yea…" Blake then broke away from the hug and her eyes met Jade's green eye. "But promise me that you won't ever put yourself into a suicidal situation again. Please. I can't afford to lose you as well… after… all of this..." Blake begged for Jade as tears continued to pour from her eyes.
"Yea… I will. For your and my sake…" Jade mumbled as Blake removed the rebreather on Jade's face and pulled him into a kiss in which he gladly accepted.
Blake then broke from the kiss and whispered. "Thank you."
"No problem Blake. Besides that, how's… everyone?" Jade asked as Blake wiped the tears from her eyes.
"They are fine. Pyrrha is alive but she still feels guilty for nearly getting you killed. Jaune, Nora and Ren have been at her side since she was admitted into the hospital for her ankle."
"What about our team?" Jade then asked although he knows what happened. He needs it to blend in, for now. He knows that Blake would get suspicious of him sooner or later. And that would have to be addressed in the future.
"Weiss was called back to Atlas at the request of her father. Ruby and Yang are back at patch… but Yang is not alright, she needs some time to recover."
"And how long was I out for?"
"A week and a half. Jade… the doctors label you as comatose. I did not know how long you will remain in a coma… I-" Blake was not able to continue when Jade pulled her into a hug.
"Shh… shh… shh…" Jade patted her hair with his hand before speaking again. "There's no need for that, I awake am I? Then there's no need to mope about it. Remember what I said in the past?" Jade then asked a question.
"Live a life without regrets…" Blake answered it as Jade smiled as nodded.
"Yea… By the way, can you get the nurse?"
Blake just nodded as she left the room, leaving Jade all alone. But with that, a whole bunch of questions entered his head. Now that Blake did not leave them yet. He needs to find a way to 'encourage' Blake to head back to Menagerie. Though Jade was unaware that Blake already had plans to head back to Menagerie. (Shh… fun stuff gonna happen.)
Another thought in Jade's head was Raphael's world. Now that he has his memories, It's beautiful, despite the cynicism that Raphael had of the world. Technology that seemed primitive by Remnant's standards, humanity going to space and even reaching the moon. The idea of two great wars in which millions died. All of it was fascinating and terrifying at the same time. But Raphael's memories do not lie. It is so similar to Remnant but different enough to be its own entity. And then there's the knowledge of the future. Ozma's origins. Salem, the fate of Haven and other characters. But most importantly, the relic of knowledge. He needs it to find the true weakness of Salem. Or is he the weapon the Ozma needed? All those needed to be addressed in time.
But not now. Recovery is needed.
It was then in which a nurse could be seen entering the room with Blake behind him.
"Ah, Mr Grayson. You are awake, how are you feeling?" She asked as he took out a pen notebook to write things down.
"I'm much better now, nurse. If I may, is it possible I can leave the hospital?"
The nurse hummed before speaking again. "Of course, but I need to check whether you are really ok. Miss Belladonna, can you give me some time?" She asked.
"I can do that." Blake said as she nodded and left the room.
It took a while but the nurse checked his vitals and bandages. It seemed alright to her as she also began to explain what had happened while he was unconscious. Jade was… not surprised that his aura pool is larger than before. (Not like he is going to complain about it.) And that they had to restrain him earlier due to him suffering a seizure while still unconscious.
Jade could only conclude that it was during his pain fest when he and Raphael merged thanks to the god of darkness. And yet he can understand Raphael's resentment for the brothers. They took him away from home, and killed him in the process. (The damn ass hats.)
The nurse then left Jade's room as Blake entered to see Jade in deep thought about something but he looked unsure about himself.
"Blake?" Jade called his girlfriend.
"Yea Jade?"
"What happened to my weapons? And… should I get a prosthetic hand and eye? It feels weird to have only one hand or only be able to see through with only one eye." He asked as he looked into his girlfriend's eyes and found comfort in it.
"Your guns are in my hotel room I booked for myself. I can pick it up for you but… Your guns are both in poor shape. Thorn looks like it could break any moment now and Lumina… I don't think it could be salvaged. The damages on it are too severe to be fixed..." While Blake was explaining to Jade, her eyes were gazing downwards on his toned body despite all the bandages covering him and her cheeks started to turn into a lighter shade red.
Jade noticed it and he couldn't keep a straight face as he started to laugh much to Blake's embarrassment. "Oh! Hahahah! Oh… I'm so sorry. "Chuckles" Even after everything that has happened. You just can't help yourself huh?" Jade continues to snigger as Blake sputters and tries to deny that she is a pervert. However Jade just made her even more embarrassed by saying this.
"Na, but you are my pervert." Blake seemed stunned by that response and Jade could swear he could see steam exiting out of her ears, (her human ears by the way.) as her face continued to become even more red than Ruby's cape. It confused him internally but he could only assume it was anime logic from Raphael's memories. What next? Heart shape eyes if Blake really gets into it? Bah, ridiculous. (Or is it?)
"I… I… Ok… back to what we were talking about…" Blake's cheeks were still red when she tried to go back to the main topic.
"As for your prosthetics… It would take months since most of it would come from Atlas. But I think you can do without them, yes?"
"Ehh… not like I would let it stop me huh? But firs-'' Jade was about to say something when his stomach growled and it was his turn to be embarrassed as Blake giggled at it.
"Looks like someone is hungry." Blake said as she poked Jade's stomach which caused it to gurgle more much to Jade's uncomfortable and awkward look on his face.
"Yea… food does sound nice." Jade meekly mumbled as Blake giggled.
"Well it is breakfast anyways. Let's go." Blake smiled as she extended her hand out for Jade to take. Jade then took her hand as he activated his semblance to get his casual uniform. Most interestingly, Jade's eye was no longer covered by bandages but now a metallic cloth that covers his eye and extends just under his wolf tail which was becoming long and probably needs a trimming in the future.
"That is new." Blake pointed it out.
"Hmm?" Jade was confused at what Blake meant about it. So jade took out his scroll and saw the cloth wrapped around his face.
"Huh… that is new…" Jade mumbled as he tried to figure out why it ended out like that.
"I think it fits you." Blake smiled as she complimented Jade who just blushed in return.
"Well then, with that out of the way, lead the way. I think my stomach is going to- (Growls) do that…" Jade could only look embarrassed as Blake continued to giggle at his expense.
Both of them went to get breakfast at the hospital canteens. It was somewhat crowded as lightly injured huntsmen and guests could be seen having their meal together. Some of them have missing limbs, like him. Jade could only carry a sombre look. The shows did not go into exact detail on how bad the fall was for everyone. But now? He sees it all in its horrible glory.
This does not go unnoticed by Blake who could only tighten her grip on Jade's last hand as they find a table to sit. Blake then went off to grab both of them breakfast while Jade sat and was sorting his thoughts out. Now that he was fine, he should check out on Ruby and Yang first. Come to think about it, he might have gained more… cautious view of things. Might be caused by his fusion with Raphael or trauma which he no doubt had to tackle it sooner than later.
While Jade was thinking to himself, a familiar voice followed by the others called him which drew his attention.
"Jade!" "Jadys fine!" "Jade! Thank Ohm that you are alright!"
"Guys! I'm glad to see that all of you are fine as well!" Jade gave a smile to his sister team, JNPR who approached him with their breakfast meal.
"Yea, the same can be said about you." Jaune was the first to speak as the team sat around him.
"Yea... Blake told me what had happened with you Pyrrha, if you still feel guilty for my condition, then don't. I made my choice to step in. Besides, it's either that or you dying, and I can't let that happen to you anytime, yes?"
"I know but... I can't help but take responsibility for your injuries." Pyrrha just looked saddened when she remembered it all like yesterday.
"It's ok Pyrrha, we are all here for you." Jaune rubbed her shoulder as she blushed and gave a smile back. This earned curious looks from Jade.
"Did the Arkos ship form when I was still asleep? Wow, that's to be expected. Arkos for the win! Wait... Arkos?" Jade asked himself as his ears twitched as he tilted his head slightly.
"Wait… I... Oh… So I uh… Raphael was expecting this 'ship' to happen. This is going to bother me for a while…"
"I assume you two are together now?" Jade then interrupted their silence as he asked them. This caused both of them to blush in embarrassment as Ren and Jade could be seen smiling. Nora on the other hand…
"Yea! Jady! I caught them kissing just yesterday! And now, they are together-together now!" Nora yelled out much to their embarrassment as Jade chuckled.
"Nora!" Both Jaune and Pyrrha called out their friend.
"Well then, about time it happened. You have no idea how obvious it was." Jade said with amusement in his voice much to the couple's surprise and embarrassment that Jade was waiting for them to hook up.
"You… you could see it?" Pyrrha then asked as she was red in the face, all while Jade chuckled at her reaction.
"Yup. You obviously had feelings for him and Jaune was too dense to notice from the start."
"Hey!"
"Oh hey guys." Blake called out as she happily walked in with both her and Jade's breakfast.
All of team JNPR called Blake as she walked in and sat next to Jade.
"It is good to see that you are alright now Pyrrha." Blake smiled as she placed a dish in front of Jade as asked them.
Pyrrha, quickly calmed down and then said back. "Likewise Blake."
It was then in which Ren decides to ask Blake. "Blake, will you be joining Ruby to go to Haven Academy with us?"
Blake however shook her head in response. "No, I can't, not yet at least. I need to go back to Menagerie to check on my parents first. And besides. I doubt Jade would come along; he needs time to heal since he just woke up."
All of team JNPR have a look of understanding on their faces while Jade was surprised on the inside. He did not expect for Blake to wish to go back to Menagerie. Did something happen while he was unconscious? No wait… Adam must have threatened to destroy everything she cared just like canon… So she must be concerned about her parent's safety. Come to think about it, the info Jade wield is becoming even less valuable due to his 'interference' Jade could only think to himself as all of them dine on their lunch.
Well… except that Blake had other ideas. Blake kept insisting on feeding Jade much to his protest as everyone else giggled or laughed at the bickering between Jade and Blake about food. In the end, he relented much to his embarrassment. He still has one hand to feed himself but come on! It's not like he is a baby that needs feeding! He felt that Blake was humiliating him on purpose for his recklessness in the fall. Not like he could blame her but still!
After they all ate their meals, Jade went back to his room so he could pick up Blake's sword as she left it there. It was then in which Jade then asked his girlfriend.
"Blake, after we check out, can we go see Ruby and Yang? I need to see if they are alright after the fall."
"Yea sure we can. Also after we see them, we go to Menagerie."
"Menagerie? Why?" Jade stopped in his tracks to ask. Though as before, he is doing it to blend in.
"Right… you were unconscious. We need to head there to check on my parents. Adam's threat to me was clear. He wants to destroy everything I cared about and that includes my parents." Blake says her reason with no hesitation.
"Hehehehehe... Funny how we agreed with each other to see them after… the Festival… but now we are going there to inform them of what had happened and to save them… hopefully." Jade tried to sound cheerful but his tone said otherwise. Even if he tried to hide it. The fall of Beacon still affected Jade badly. Even if he doesn't want to admit it himself.
"Yea… it was…" Blake could see that the fall affected Jade to a large extent and pulled him into a hug.
"But we have each other and we can't mope about it now can we?" Blake continued on as she tried to stay optimistic.
"Using my own words on me huh?" Jade jokingly smiled.
"Yup." Blake admitted as they broke up the hug. "Come on. Let's go pick up our gear before heading out to see Ruby and Yang." Jade then nodded as they picked up everything they had left in Jade's hospital room.
Much later, both of them then boarded the boat to take them to the Patch island to visit Ruby and Yang before leaving for Menagerie. After a while, both of them had reached the island with no issue. It was then that Blake took Jade to Ruby's home as she knew how to reach there due to visiting them days ago. It was then in which Blake stepped forward and knocked on the door.
"Coming!" Ruby's voice could be heard thanks to the couple's hearing as footsteps could be heard rapidly approaching the door.
The door then opened to see Ruby in her home pyjamas.
"Blake! Jade! You are alright!"
"Hey Ruby." "Good to see you glorious leader." The couple then greeted Ruby.
"What are you doing here?" She then asked.
"Well, I wished to see how you guys are doing as of yet. Blake gave me the rundown of what had happened but. I think it was best to see you both before we make our way to Menagerie." Jade then explained as all three of them walked into the cabin.
"Really? You are leaving so soon? Immediately after he just woke up?" Ruby then asked as she turned her attention on Blake.
"Yea. The nurse checked him and said that he can move but he cannot fight for a couple of months which is no issue."
"Leaving earlier increases our chances of preventing Blake's parents from any attempts against their life. That's the reason I agreed to leave as soon as she told me the situation back at the hospital."
"Ohh….. That makes sense…"
"Ruby. Where is your dad?" Blake then asked when she noticed that Tai was not in the house.
"Dad? Oh he went to go and get groceries and I have to do house chores…" Ruby does not sound too pleased that she had to do house chores at home. She missed the times in beacon in which both Weiss and Jade would regularly clean the dorm if it gets too messy. Hooray for free cleaning services.
"Besides that, I need to see Yang before we go. Care to lead the way?" Jade then asked.
"Right, follow me!" Ruby then zips off leaving a trail of rose petals behind her.
"You know, now that I think about it. Ruby's rose petals don't really disappear when she uses it huh?" Jade then asked.
"Not really the last time I checked." Blake shrugged her shoulders as both of them climbed up the stars as they could hear Ruby in the distance.
"Yang! Jade is awake and is here to see you!"
"Really?" Yang could be heard as well.
"Yes Yang Xiao Long. I am alive and I am here to see you. Despite the loss… of my eye... and hand…"
Jade's voice noticeably wavered at the end of it which all of his teammates (except Weiss because she is not here) noticed it.
"Jade, are you ok?" Blake then asked.
"I… fine… just need to calm my mind." Jade tried to assure his team but Blake remained unconvinced.
"Jade is also suffering from PTSD as well… I need to keep a close eye on him. Hopefully he can recover quickly." Blake thought in her mind as she glanced at her teammates. Both Yang and Ruby also looked unconvinced. Is he trying to convince them or himself?
"Anyways… I come to check on you. Because… both Blake and I are going to leave Vale and head to Menagerie."
"Both of you are leaving? Why?" Yang looked really saddened at the thought of her partner and friend leaving her behind.
Blake then walked and sat on the chair beside Yang's bed and then gave her reason. "Yang… I understand why you are upset about our departure. But my parents in Menagerie are in danger. Adam Taurus. The man you saw me fighting weeks ago… He is coming after them. I don't want to lose them as well… But, I promised Ruby that once I deal with this issue. I will meet with her with Jade at Haven. That is a promise."
"So… you are not running?"
Blake shook her head. "No. Adam threatens my family. I have to act or else I would lose them… Like how I nearly lost Jade…" She then glanced at Jade who slowly nodded at her.
Yang was in thought for a minute at max before she looked at her partner. "Blake." Blake then gave her partner her full attention. "Thank you. For informing me that you are about to leave… I don't know what I would do if you did not stick around."
Blake could only smile as he then gave her partner a hug before breaking off. "And thank you Yang, for understanding me."
"Yea… You should go now…" Yang gave a hollow smile. But a smile nonetheless.
"Yang… Before we leave… promise me to never lose hope. No matter what happens, keep fighting. That's what you do." Jade then gave a smile as he, Blake and Ruby left the room after saying their goodbyes to her.
It was then that the couple said their goodbyes and lucks to Ruby as they made their way back to Vale. After all, they have already booked a ticket to Menagerie but the time to board is 2 hours away from now.
While both of them were walking down the streets, Blake was the first to speak.
"Jade? Since we have some time, I was thinking of getting a new outfit."
"Really? Well… we do have some time, so it should be fine… Come to think about it, I could use one myself as well."
"Ok then let's go." Blake said as she took Jade's hand and walked towards a clothing stall.
Long story short. Blake got herself her post-fall outfit while Jade, not really getting an outfit change of sorts, changed his overcoat from a grey to black with green lines on it while also getting a small bag so that he could carry his guns inside it (It is not like Jade is going to fight anyone right now yea?) He also got himself some black boots and black glove for his one and only hand.
"You look good in it." Jade complemented his girlfriend as both of them left the shop with no issue.
"Thank you, and I think you look better with black, even though you never changed much, but I think it still fits you."
"Thanks Blake. Is it me or does your outfit seem… more open." Jade asked as he glanced at Blake from top to bottom. And also unintentionally looking at her 'assets'. (Right… definitely intentional. Two perverted kitties sitting on a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G! Wait, they already did that… DAMN IT!)
"What's the matter? Don't like it?" Blake asked in a teasing tone as she faced him with a smirk on her face."
"What! I mean… I… I-'' Jade immediately turned red in the face as he stumbled through his words till Blake placed her finger on his lips as she giggled.
"Looks like someone is also a pervert as well…" Blake's smirk became a smug expression. Funny, it turns out that Jade could be perverted as well. It is just that he is good at hiding it. But it won't work with her of course she would get back at him for all the teasing he had done to her in the past few months since they got together.
Jade realising that Blake caught him ogling her. He then looked away in embarrassment as Blake continued to giggle at his expense.
"Ok I have my fill of teasing you. We should go now." Blake then stopped her teasing as she took his hand and dragged towards the dockyard.

And we are done for this chapter.
First of all. The god of darkness makes an appearance and the reunification of Jade's soul. I admit. I was planning to keep Jade divided but I feel it was better for them to unify. And what better way to do than letting the god of darkness to help out.
Next on our list is Jade. While he acts mostly fine. He is still deeply affected by the fall despite expecting it. But with the addition of Raphael's personality and memories. He would unknowingly keep it hidden to save face as we Asians would call it. Next is Jade using some terms Raphael originally possessed. Examples like Jade approving Arkos ship that just happened or him nearly saying god instead of Ohm. Look I know that sometimes in RWBY you can hear the characters say god but I'm just making it easier for me ok?
Next is Related to Blake. As you can no doubt tell, Blake has gotten more confident than before. That was a decision I chose to make. After all, with Jade injured and missing an eye and hand. Blake has to pick up. In a way… She was forced to build character. Moving on.
Arkos ship is now confirmed feel free to praise me some more. Anyways yea team JNPR are still in the hospital as Pyrrha still needs some time to recover. But yea they will join Ruby to head towards Haven Academy. (With Qrow watching them closely.)
Next is the couple seeing Ruby and Yang before their departure. It was pretty basic. It would allow Jade to check on them and to assure them that he is ok to move, though he is still injured and cannot fight. (Though I have some plans for his semblance…) It is also so that they can say their goodbyes and assure Yang, who was mentally affected by the fall, to not see it as both of them running.
Finally we have both of them having a change in attire. I was always curious how Blake got new clothing design after the fall and time skip. Since she did not leave after the fall. I made it that both of them go to the clothes store to change their outfit. I'm too lazy to change Jade's outfit but I did modify it to make it different. Sort of…
So yea… I will be posting one more chapter soon before my national service. More details will be in the next chapter.
