Next Monday Sheldon returned to work and emailed Paige
Dear Paige. Thank you for coming to visit my mother last weekend, she really appreciated seeing you again and finding out what you have been doing. I managed to do a bit more work on our paper when my mother was at church with her imaginary friend, see attached file. When can we meet to further discuss this paper? Sheldon.
Dear Sheldon. I am quite busy today, I am only free between 1.00pm and 2.00pm, do you want to meet for a late lunch? Paige.
Dear Paige. See you in the canteen at 1.00pm. Sheldon.
At 1.00pm Paige enters the canteen just as Leonard, Raj and Howard were preparing to leave.
Leonard said "It's Dr. Swanson."
Paige replied "Greetings Dr. Hofstadter, Dr. Koothrappali and Mr. Wolowitz. Have you seen Sheldon?"
"He is just entering the canteen now."
"So he is, good day to you gentlemen."
Five minutes later Sheldon and Paige were sat together eating lunch.
"Thank you for coming to visit with my mother at the weekend Paige, she was very happy to see you and hear all your news."
"It was good to see her again."
"She was very pleased to hear about your parents getting back together and remarrying next month. My parents marriage was not happy towards the end, before my father died. If he had lived I think they would have eventually got divorced."
"I have a question to ask you about the wedding next month, would you like to accompany me to the wedding Sheldon?
