"The Return of the Genius" featured a reunion, 17 years after "Young Sheldon" between Sheldon and Paige. What happened next?

December 2009.
After the wedding Sheldon and Paige gradually spent more and more time together at Caltech. They would meet for a hot beverage most days. Sometimes Paige would join Sheldon and the other three for lunch but more often they would eat lunch together apart from the others.
One day they were in Paige's office discussing Science when Sheldon asked
"Sorry to change the subject but there is a lecture by Neil DeGrasse Tyson at UCLA next week, would you to accompany me to this lecture?"
Before she could answer there was a knock on the door. "Come in"
"Hello Paige."
Paige jumped up from her chair and gave the visitor a big hug and a kiss "Good to see you Andrew."
Sheldon looked somewhat startled at this intrusion so Paige said
"Sheldon, this is my ex-husband Dr. Andrew Bengtsson. Andrew this is my good friend and work colleague Dr. Sheldon Cooper."
Sheldon said "Good day to you Dr. Bengtsson, you obviously know Paige very well."
Andrew said "Yes I do Dr. Cooper, I used to be married to Paige."
"Andrew was a Ph.D student in Geology when I was a Postdoc at Harvard. We got married after a few months, it was fun for a while but then he kept disappearing on field trips for months at a time. Then when he graduated he got a job travelling the world for a big Oil Company and that was it for our marriage. That's when I left Harvard and met you at Caltech last year. Oh Sheldon, I would be happy to join you for Dr. Tyson's lecture."
Sheldon said "Thank you Paige. Would you care to join us for a hot beverage Dr. Bengtsson, I am sure that you and Paige have a lot of catching up to do….."
