"Will that bunch really be able to handle it?" Kurogiri entered into the bar, where Shigaraki was hunched over and looking at a sheet of paper.

"Yeah. It's still not time for me to play again… because the game's changed," Shigaraki responded. "It's been an RPG up until now. With only halfway decent equips, I went and charged the final boss at level one. But we should've been playing this like a Sim."

You've lost me, Tomura Shigaraki. Kurogiri started to clean glasses behind the bar, utterly confused. He held a neutral face.

"…Where I'm the player, moving units around, and breaking through to higher ranks. For that, we gotta put some cracks in this super-powered society. It doesn't matter whether the Vanguard Action Squad succeeds or fails. The plain face that they made a move there, at the camp, will intimidate heroes." Shigaraki smiled.

"Disposable pawns, then…" It was said as a statement but was really a question.

"Don't be stupid! Do I look like such a cruel guy?" The leader of the League of Villains finally looked up, looking like a cruel villain. "Their strength's the real deal. Especially Seeker, he even defeated me in combat! They're all headed in different directions, but each is a reliable comrade. This society's bound hand and foot by all its damned rules…"

Shigaraki flipped over a card showing Bakugo being chained up and in a muzzle, with confetti in the air. "…And we're not the only ones feeling supressed. So, yeah. I'm hoping they succeed. If they do, I'll get to have a little bit of fun with Seeker's friend too."

Whatever you say, Tomura. The two went back to their respective musings.

I need to find Kacchan and the pros, Sora's heading back but Kacchan doesn't know he's the target! Hurry!

"Midori-" Aizawa nearly bumped into Midoriya as Midoriya had to slide past him.

"Sir! Glad I found you! It's really bad! There's a lot I've gotta tell you… but, first off, there's something Mandalay has to hear-"

"Wait-"

"-The villains are targeting Kacchan and Sora, as well as other students -I found Kota and Sora, they're heading back now but I gotta go and find Kacchan first, the villains are really tough and if I can help I gotta! Bye!" Midoriya spouted all at once before beginning to run off again.

"I said wait, Midoriya! Those wounds… you've gone and done it again. Wrecked your arms." Aizawa sighed.

Midoriya looked guiltily as his badly damaged arms hung limp at his side. His mind flashed back to a previous moment, when he was chastised by the police for using his quirk in public. He was shocked when Aizawa looked over that issue.

"As I was saying, tell her this: the students are allowed to fight back using their quirks."

"O-ok sir!" And with that, Midoriya rushed away.

I should head back to base to check up on Kota and Sora. Especially since Sora's apparently a target. Aizawa decided before running back the way he came.

Shoot, I forgot to tell Midoriya to head for safety afterwards. I really messed that one up... The only reason he can even move right now with those wounds is because of all the endorphins pumping through his system. Once he accomplishes the mission, they'll stop flowing, and his body will shut down. I'll need to head back up and locate that problem child after I check up on these two.

He reached the main building just as he heard Mandalay's Telepathy.

"Everyone! You are allowed to fight back! Use your quirks if needed!"

Good, Midoriya has reached Mandalay then. Aizawa slowed as he saw a strangely shaped figure. He reached for his capture scarf and narrowed his eyes, preparing himself for a fight. He relaxed quickly when he saw it was Sora, looking a little roughed up, with an asleep Kota on his back.

"Aizawa! Hi! Midoriya passed Kota onto me, but he's pretty injured. I don't know where he is now though." Sora shuffled a little.

"I passed by him on the way here. Do you know that you are being targeted-" Aizawa was interrupted by another broadcast by Mandalay.

"Two of the villains' targets have been identified! It's the student known as Kacchan, and Sora! Kacchan and Sora, avoid battle and don't make any moves alone! Everyone get that? Kacchan and Sora!"

"Uh, yeah, I do." Sora rubbed the back of his head. Kota started to stur on Sora's back.

"Where- where am I?" He said groggily, as Sora set him back on the ground.

"We're back at camp, Midoriya and I passed by each other on the way here. We're safe now." Sora reassured.

"You guys should head inside, I'm going back to help the other students." Aizawa stated, no room for argument.

The three were about to part ways, when monsters seemingly cropped up from the ground, without any warning. Only four had appeared, but they surrounded the group instantly.

"What are they?!" Kota screamed in fear.

"They've been dubbed the 'Pointed Hearts' by the media. As soon as there is an opening, I want you two to run inside as fast as possible." Aizawa looked back to the other two.

Kota was terrified, and for good reason. Aizawa had only seen the monsters on the news previously, but they caused havoc. Not to mention the police had only one sighting of the villain, but a passing one at that. The quirk was an unknown, and one that Aizawa could not erase.

Sora, however seemed the calmest out of everyone. He was already in a fighting stance, not fazed at all. Aizawa raised an eyebrow but turned back around.

"I'm staying to fight. Two heads are better than one." Sora stated.

Aizawa went to argue but instead dodged out of the way of a clawing. He flipped and landed into a crouch and shot out his capture weapon. It wrapped itself around the small blue frame of the creature, and Aizawa pulled it towards him, already standing back up. He inflicted damage onto it by the monster getting hit by his knee. It flew onto the ground, however it quickly recovered, chirping slightly and wiggling about.

Aizawa ran in to deal more damage, but was met with another monster about to scratch him on the side. However, water splashed onto the small creature, making it flop to the ground in a soggy mess. Sora then shot out a fireball, and eradicated the monster, turning it into black mist. A quick look around, and Aizawa deducted that Kota had shot out the water, and Sora had defeated the rest of the monsters.

"That's all of them, r-right?" Kota shook the water off his hands, trying to act inbothered and cool in front of the other two.

"Hot, hot, hot. Ow!" Sora blew on his fingers and waved them about in the background.

Aizawa rolled his eyes at the display. "I believe so. Head inside, I'll escort you."

Kota and Aizawa began to move, but Sora looked back at the dark forest, ignoring the pro hero's instruction.

"Sora." Aizawa frowned.

"Something really bad is going to happen. I can feel it," Sora merely stated, before coming to a decision. "I'm sorry Aizawa, but I've gotta go."

Aizawa protested, but Sora disappeared in a flash of blue back into the forest. Aizawa sighed tiredly before continuing to escort Kota.

Great, now I have to find Problem Child, Sora and the others.

"Here that, Kendo? We're allowed to kick some ass!" Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu from Class 1B shouted back, running into a thick purple poisonous fog.

Behind him was Itsuka Kendo, who was wearing a mask similar to Tetsutetsu. "I said wait, Tetsutetsu! Don't you understand? This gas is…"

"Bad news. Yeah, I know I'm not an idiot." The male stopped to properly converse.

"You are an idiot! Mandalay didn't mention the gas at all. That means it hasn't spread within view of the clearing," Kendo explained. "It's just weird. The gas seems to be flowing in a set direction. Normally, it would just disperse and fade. Take a look! The gas is thicker here than where we started."

Tetsutetsu huffed impatiently. "So… what're you saying?"

"I think it's swirling around some sort of origin point. Like a typhoon. That means there must be someone in the middle who's shooting out and controlling the gas!"

"Kendo, you're a genius!" Tetsutetsu said in awe.

"Then why'm I the only one following you… geez…" Kendo quietly complained before focusing once more. "All right then! If the gas gets thicker as we head towards the centre, then we're up against the clock. Because the filters in these gas masks can only do so much, the thicker the glass, the less time they'll support our breathing."

Tetsutetsu zoomed off, leaving Kendo to follow. "In that case, we'd better make a mad dash for the centre! And then we can kick some butt! Right?!"

"Mmm… I guess…" Kendo said with a lot less animation.

"This damned gas is causing trouble for Shiozaki and the rest. I don't like it. It pisses me off! Let's do this Kendo!"

Kendo smiled and got riled up with him. "Yeah!"

Mustard stood in the midst of thick purple gas flowing all around him, gas mask on and face underneath stoic. The gas mask was an unflatering dark green, which blended in with his long dark blue coat. He calmly began to reach into his inside coat pocket with his off-white gloves and pulled out a short revolver.

"Coming right for me, three… no, two perhaps. Someone must have caught on and started charging in. I'd expect no less from an elite school. But unfortunately for them," Mustard, the C-rank villain, faced the direction of where Testutetsu came running in, hand ready in a punch "No matter how great their quirks, they're only human."

Midoriya was running through the forest, One for All coursing through his veins when he heard the gunshot, and worry shot through him. He continued running, trying to find Bakugo and others, thoughts travelling faster than him. Especially when Shoji, his classmate, had to pull him out of the way of a large, clawed fist to the body.

"Shoji?" Midoriya asked, while the pain of his injuries slowly dawned on him.

"Those wounds… you shouldn't be moving around in that state. Running around trying to save everyone? You're full of surprises…" Shoji whispered, adjusting his grip holding Midoriya on his back.

"Just now, was that…?"

"Yup. It was a sneak attack from a villain. I took the hit for us, but it ended up triggering his quirk, even though he tried to control it. If you wanna pass through here and save Bakugo, he's the first problem we've gotta deal with."

"Get… away from m- It'll kill you!" Tokoyami managed within the wrathful shadow of his quirk running free.

"Tokoyami!"

Xerayn's Notes 15-

Really short one today (2000 words!) but there's a few battles in here so its ok. I had to make a whole diagram to keep track of the battles and my alterations I want to make, it's just too chaotic to keep all in my head at one time lol.

My mental health? Horrible. My physical? Also horrible. Don't try and do seven exams in three days after throwing up folks, really bad idea. Also don't try to revise while dizzy. (A full list of my situation can be found here if folks care). But the support on this fic has kept me going, and I'll get another chapter out soon!
