Raptors Are Too Smart

"RUN!"

Nazz ran down the hallway, chased by a Raptor Grimm and ended up running into a dead end.

Or rather a dead end with a closet.

She turned and gasped in horror, seeing the Raptor Grimm running straight at her. As it jumped at her, she jumped up, holding onto the door frame and the Raptor ran into the closet behind her. She landed back on the floor and immediately slammed the door shut and locked it.

"That won't work."

Nazz turned around to see none other than… "Mr. Sebben."

"Grimm Raptors are too smart to be locked up in closets." Sebben pointed at the door.

A newspaper came out from under the door and with a little shaking, the key fell out and onto the paper which then slid back under the door. A second later, the door was unlocked and the Grimm Raptor kicked the door open with a roar.

Nazz screamed and hid behind Sebben who pointed his cane. "You might have us, but you'll never make it off the island."

Then the Grimm Raptor took out a pipe and began to speak with a British accent. "I beg to differ. For you see, the other Raptors and I have constructed a crude suspension bridge to GrimmFall. Once there I shall lie low and assume odd jobs under the name Mr. Pilkigton. But perhaps I have said too much." The Raptor smoked on his pipe once he was done.

He tossed the pipe aside and lunged at them…

WHACK!

Only for Phil Ken Sebben to whack the Grimm Raptor in the face.

"Raptors are too smart for closets." Sebben held up his cane. "Not too smart for me!"

Nightmare or Reality?

The Eds had welcome Teams RWBY and JNR along with Qrow and Oscar to the cul-de-sac, all of them being given rooms of their own while being guests in different houses. Rolf, Yang and Ed were having breakfast when Ruby walked in with a haunted look on her face.

"Morning Rubes." Yang said, sipping from a cup of coffee.

Rolf noticed the look in her eyes. "Is everything all right, Red-Riding Ruby?"

"I had a nightmare!" Ruby exclaimed as her eyes went big and an eerie tone began to play. "I saw two giant dark monsters with big ears and glaring red eyes."

An outline of the monsters appeared behind her, one resembling a mouse and the other a rabbit with glowing red eyes and the rabbit was holding a carrot in one hand…

"They could see anywhere and even read your mind." Ruby described to the three. "All of us were its slave and everyone lived in fear…I was there…You were too…Death, destruction, and cheap, bad live action movies…It was horrible."

Ruby then just laughed; her haunted look vanishing. "Well it was just a nightmare. I'm going to try some chunky puffs."

As she went to get some of that special cereal she had heard about, Ed and Rolf traded uneasy looks.

"Uh, Rolf…How do we tell her?" Ed carefully asked.

"That Red-Riding Ruby and Burns Too Bright Yang girl are likely unknowing slaves to the Demon Mouse and Carrot Eating Mad Rabbit?" Rolf whispered in a haunted voice. "…Some things should never be told, Ed-boy."

Yang just looked at the two. "What are you guys talking about?"

"Nothing!"

Far away Bugs Bunny's ears perked up and his eyes narrowed. "...Someone knows."
