Wild Combat Training and Plan of Dancing

"Hey Yang, do you know what my favorite part in combat class is?" Wolverine asked his first girlfriend.

"I can think of a few things, but I want to hear one from you." Yang said.

"AAAAAHHHH?!" Cardin screamed as Pyrrha slammed him onto the ground from high in the air and backflip kick him.

"Seeing dickheads like Cardin getting beaten up like shit." Wolverine answered.

"Oh yeah, that was one of my guesses." Yang chuckled.

"I never get tired of seeing Pyrrha fight like that." Jaune smiled.

"Makes you want to ask her out, huh?" Nora teased with some tapping of her elbow to Jaune's arm.

"What? Nora, don't put words in my mouth!" Jaune gasped.

"Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow, but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers?" Glynda asked as she looks around and set her sights on Blake.

"Ms. Belladonna?" Glynda called out.

Upon hearing her name, Blake quickly closes her book that she was reading during class and look at Glynda.

"You've been rather docile for the past few classes. Why don't you"

"I'll go for it." Wolverine raised his hand.

"Okay, we got Wolverine and to find you a sparring partner." Glynda said.

"I can go for it." Mercury raised his hand and standing up.

"Mercury, is it? Very well, the two of you will be our last fight for this class. Now, off to the locker rooms to get ready." Glynda ordered.

Wolverine kiss Yang on the lips for a little good luck and wave a little to the rest of his teammates even giving Blake a pat on the head, but she just brushes it off of annoyance and this gave him the idea that she is still trouble with something.

"(I'll worry about that later, I got training to get through.)" Wolverine thought decided to focus on this combat training before anything else.

"Be sure not to hold back on him, go wild as you want." Deerc advised.

"Got it." Mercury nodded with a smirk.

Wolverine and Mercury step into the arena for they got into their fighting stance.

"If both fighters are ready then… FIGHT!" Glynda declared the start of the fight.

(Music: Wolverine Theme, Marvel vs Capcom)

Mercury made the first move charging headfirst with a flying kick to the head though surprisingly, Wolverine didn't dodge but met the attack with a headbutt to deflect it then jump at the gray hair boy sending him back with a cross slash attack.

"Okay, wasn't expecting that." Mercury surprised.

"Then you might not love this!" Wolverine ran straight to Mercury with his claws ready for more action.

Mercury quick got back up and fire some air Dust shots at Wolverine hoping to keep him at by from a distance, but that wasn't the case as Wolverine just slashes those air Dust shots away and jump at his opponent for a left hook slashing attack. Seeing the attack coming, Mercury quickly moves his right leg to clash against the attack and parry it away, Wolverine lands on his feet and comes for some vicious slashing strikes as Mercury dodges and parry them with his boots.

"Come on, pretty face, I thought I would expect more than this!" Wolverine taunted.

"Just me, you haven't seen anything yet." Mercury smirked.

Mercury jumps high with the added boost of his boots to fire some barrage of fire Dust bullets at Wolverine who started dodging them as he runs around the arena, Mercury saw a chance to strike as he fires another fire Dust bullet. This force Wolverine to jump back which was a setup by the gray hair boy delivering a strong kick in the back of the head, then he swipe kick the guy off his feet and threw him to a wall with his right leg.

"Wow, you friend is doing pretty good." Ruby commented.

"Yeah, he shows some skills in kicking, but I think you wild friend can do more." Deerc grinned earning a look from Emerald.

Wolverine got back up and runs to Mercury who does a flying kick for the head as the former clash it against his knee, then grabs that leg to spin Mercury around fast and made a powerful throw him away.

"(Damn, this guy is tough with the metal bones and all.)" Mercury thought commented.

Mercury quickly landed on the wall which causes little cracks to appear around him.

"Okay, time to try this out." Wolverine increased the strength of his muscles and unleash a flying slash attack at his opponent.

"Oh shit!" Mercury gasped and jumped out of the way before the three air slashes hit the spot where he landed on.

"Yeah, he tried out the new move!" Yang cheered.

"About time, I was worried he was gonna waste all the training session we did." Weiss said.

"Blake, did you see that. He did the air slash!" Ruby excited.

"Yeah, did good." Blake said with a blank expression, not into the combat class right now.

"Did you know he could do that?" Emerald asked Deerc, whispering to his ear.

"No, but I was worried that he wouldn't do something new during our separation after all these years." Deerc smirked.

Wolverine charges at Mercury clashing his claws at Mercury's boots as he moves and jumps around the vicious student of Beacon Academy, but Wolverine manages to counter most of the while getting hit a few times.

"Let see how you like this." Mercury grunted a bit, thinking about getting a little bit.

Mercury kicked both claws away and perform an instant front flip kick on the head so hard that it causes a small shockwave around them with a bang noise from the metal bone of Wolverine's head.

Mercury grin thinking he must have given him a big headache from that and may actually win this fight for real, the little moment of cocky thinking left him open for Wolverine to grab him by the neck and held him up.

"Oh, you done it now, bub." Wolverine growled as his body starts to glow red.

"Now you got me mad!" Wolverine shouted unleashing his Berserker Rage Semblance.

"Oh double shit." Mercury gulped before getting slammed into the ground.

Wolverine let out a roar like an angry wild animal as he threw his opponent away and ran after him for some more vicious strikes.

Mercury does a triple backflip to land on the floor only to be blitz slash by Wolverine and he started slashing away at his opponent that is too much for his aura to withstand.

"Cross Slash!" Wolverine blitzed past Mercury again with a fast slash attack causing Mercury's aura to break completely and his shirt too as he fell to his defeat.

"YEAH!" Wolverine roared loud holding up his claws.

"That's match." Glynda declared the end of this combat match as Wolverine quickly calm himself down.

"That is all for today. And remember, the dance is this weekend. But you all have your first mission on Monday. I will not accept any excuses." Glynda informed before leaving.

"Do mind trying to keep yourself from getting too wild in battle, we don't want to accidentally injure any students from the other kingdoms." Glynda advised.

"I'll try if they don't try to piss me off." Wolverine shrugged as he walked past her.

Glynda let out a sigh, then yelp in surprise when she felt her butt was just pinched by Wolverine as she glares at his back while her cheeks are blushing.

"(Damn it, is he trying to make me fall for him because… It's working.)" Glynda thought covered her blushing face with her clipboard.

"Well, you certainly had an interesting day." Deerc commented as he picks up Mercury and threw him onto his shoulder.

"Shut up, you damn fang-face." Mercury groaned in pain.

"You know, it was really satisfying seeing you get creamed like that." Emerald mocked her teammate.

"More like cut to pieces." Mercury corrected her because flinching in pain.

"Oh man, babe! You were awesome with a capital A!" Yang complimented as she jumps onto him.

"Thanks, and hope you like the result of using that new slash move." Wolverine chuckled.

"It was indeed something to behold, performing a powerful move with nothing but brute strength is feat most Huntsmen and Huntresses would want to accomplish." Weiss nodded smiling.

"You were so cool even when you used your Semblance in the end!" Ruby complimented.

"Thanks girls." Wolverine smiled but noticed one certain black cat girl is missing.

"Where did Blake go." Wolverine asked sighing.

"She went on ahead without us, looking all grumpy kitty and all like always." Yang answered.

"I can safely say for all of us that Blake is still deep in mind about the White Fang, especially after the investigation last week." Weiss pointed out.

"That girl will need to take a break from it soon or else she'll end up hurting herself." Wolverine concerned for his teammate.

"Don't worry, once we tell her the news about the dance then I'm sure she will agree to settle down." Yang believed.

"News about the dance?" Wolverine raised an eyebrow.

"You'll find out soon." Yang winked.

"Well, we better do it fast because Sun just got turn down hard by Blake." Ruby alerted the others as she points at the scene where the sad Sun is being left behind by a frustrated Blake.

"Doing okay, Sun?" Wolverine asked as he and the others walk up to him.

"If by fine you mean feeling your heart just got broken, then yeah, totally." Sun sighed.

"Don't worry, Sun. We'll talk some sense into Blake in a calm manner." Weiss assured.

(Later, Team RWBY Room)

"You what?" Blake yelled asking what her team just ask of her to do.

"We want you to go to the dance." Ruby repeated what they just said.

"That's ridiculous." Blake glared.

"Blake, you got to try listen to reason because it's for your own good." Wolverine stated.

"He's right, we're worried about you. This investigation is starting to mess with your head." Yang nodded.

"You can't sleep, you hardly eat, and to be honest, your grades have been suffering." Weiss counted the things with her fingers.

"You think I care about grades? People's lives are at stake!" Blake reminded them.

"We know that stupid. But you can't really save any lives if you knocked yourself out from overdoing it." Wolverine pointed out.

"And besides, we managed to figure out what Roman and the White Fang were doing like stealing that Atlas mech." Yang said.

"And the Schnee company records singled out Vale as the primary target for Dust robberies over the last few months." Weiss bragged a bit.

"But there's still unanswered questions!" Blake said.

"Blake, like Wolverine said, you won't be able to find anything if you can't even keep your eyes open!" Ruby pointed out.

"Look, it's just one day of relaxing from that stupid obsession of yours." Wolverine mocked.

"Now, Wolverine." Yang glanced as what he just said may have been uncalled for.

"I'm just calling it as I see it." Wolverine shrugged.

"That one day odd will be fun! Yang and I will make sure of it." Weiss smiled.

"Yeah! We're planning the whole event!" Yang revealed surprising Wolverine a bit.

"Excuse me?" Blake shocked.

"Team CFVY's away mission lasted longer than expected." Weiss explained.

"Huh, that would explain why I haven't seen them around for some time now." Wolverine realized that now.

"Aw, were you hoping to ask out the bunny girl or the fashion cool girl?" Yang asked teasing.

"Maybe both, those two certainly have their own charm." Wolverine grinned.

"Now you're just making me feel weird about that you're talking about right now." Ruby blushed a bit from this.

"Anyway, Weiss and I were asked to pick up where they left off. And now we can make sure you have the perfect night." Yang believed.

"And once it's all over, we'll return for our search, rested and ready." Weiss stated.

"So what do ya think?" Ruby asked.

"I think this is a colossal waste of time." Blake turned down and walked away to the door.

"Hold it." Wolverine grabbed her arm tightly.

"Let me go, I'm going to the library." Blake struggled to break out of his grip.

"No, you're not. Can't you see how stupid you're being right now, that kind of shit is going to be your downfall if you don't stop yourself from this." Wolverine pointed out.

"I can't stop until the White Fang are stopped, I thought you would understand that." Blake glared.

"We all do, but all we're asking is you to slow down before you get yourself kill." Wolverine said.

Blake growls and threw a punch so hard onto Wolverine's face though he wasn't fazed by the punch and Blake flinch in pain from that.

"See, you're already hurting yourself." Wolverine pointed out.

"Shut the fuck up." Blake used her Semblance to escape Wolverine's grip and leaves the room while Jaune was standing outside.

"Uh, is this a bad time?" Jaune asked.

"Sorry you had to see that, Jaune. We're just stealing with an idiot cat who wouldn't listen." Wolverine sighed.

"Okay, well, I just came by to ask you a little something." Jaune said.

"Does it has something to do with Pyrrha?" Wolverine asked in a slight teasing tone.

"M-Maybe." Jaune blushed a bit and scratching the back of his head.

"Well, sorry Jaune, I'm not in the mood to talk right now but I can tell this that you just got to be confident and show that Jaune Arc is always the guy for you." Wolverine advised.

"Okay, yeah, I think I can work with that." Jaune nodded.

"Good, now goodbye." Weiss slammed the door onto Jaune's face, she turns around noticing her teammates are staring at her.

"What?" Weiss asked.

"And that is why they call you the Ice Queen." Yang smirked as Ruby fell from standing precariously.

"I just think he should hurry up to ask Pyrrha out which I still don't see how they could be a couple." Weiss stated.

(With Jaune and Pyrrha)

Jaune and Pyrrha are on the rooftop of the dormitory working on Jaune's combat skill with the sword though he was close to pushing her back, Pyrrha did a last second move knocking him down with a kick to his legs.

"Well done! Your swordplay's improved immensely." Pyrrha complimented as she holds out her hand to him.

"Thanks, I couldn't have done it without you." Jaune smiled and accepted the hand to get back up.

"So, are you ready to move on to Aura?" Pyrrha asked.

"As much as I want to try discovering my Semblance, I was wondering if we could cut our training session short because of the dance and all." Jaune suggested.

"I see, you don't want to overwork ourselves if we don't have enough energy to dance." Pyrrha said getting the idea.

"Exactly, and I bet you already got plenty of guys clamoring over each other just to ask you out." Jaune chuckled half-heartedly.

"(Stupid Jaune, why did you have to bring that up?)" Jaune thought asked himself.

"You'd be surprised." Pyrrha chuckled half-heartedly too.

"Well, I'm gonna head inside now. See ya." Jaune walked away leaving a sad Pyrrha alone on the roof.

"Come on, Jaune. Next time, next time, you ask her to the dance!" Jaune whispered to himself.

(Cinder's Team Room)

"I see, so your little brother has gotten stronger." Cinder said after hearing the report from Deerc, or is really Sabretooth as he is not wearing his disguise right now.

"Got to say, seeing him fight like that makes me want to pounce on him right now." Sabretooth smirked.

"Except we can't until the Vytal Festival, but we did at least got some good info like some students were talking about how Wolverine and Pyrrha fought a week after the initiation mentioning about her Semblance being Polarity." Emerald explained.

"Controlling metal, sounds like someone I know very well." Sabretooth recalled about that someone.

"Guess that would explain how she's been a champion for so long, she could make slight movements on her opponents to her advantage." Mercury figured that part out.

"People assume that she's fated for victory, when she's really taking fate into her own hands. Interesting. Add her to the list." Cinder ordered and Emerald did just that.

"I'm sure you two can take care those two problems." Mercury stated for Cinder to defeat Pyrrha and Sabretooth going for Wolverine.

"It's not about overpowering the enemy. It's about taking away what power they have. And we will, in time." Cinder grinned.

"Well, I know I'm going to have a fund weekend." Sabretooth pulled Cinder into his arms as she chuckles, staring into each other's eyes.

KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!

Looks like Blake is still not going to stop with the searching and stopping of the White Fang as her teammates will try to convince her, just hope it doesn't come to Wolverine's own way of convincing her before the night of the Beacon Dance.
