Arc Courage Dancing Plus Falling Infiltration
Jaune walk up the stairs to find Pyrrha at the top of the stairs, seeing her in all the beautiful of the crimson hair champion and looking very good in that red dress showing her back like it's trying to show her bottom.
"(No, no, bad Jaune! No pervert things, it's now or never!)" Jaune thought decided to do this.
"Hey, Pyrrha." Jaune greeted, getting her attention.
"Hello, Jaune." Pyrrha greeted back with a small smile.
"You okay? I was told you came with the rest of the team." Jaune asked.
"Doing fine, the dance is well planned for everyone's fun." Pyrrha commented on the dance.
"Yeah, well, you look nicer than the dance." Jaune complimented as he blushes.
"Oh, thank you." Pyrrha surprised from that but felt happy from it.
"So, you came here alone which is a little weird to me. It just sounds like nobody ask you out." Jaune chuckled a bit, and mentally slap himself for saying that out loud.
"It's actually true. Nobody asks me." Pyrrha revealed with a sad face and shocking Jaune.
"What?!" But that… You're Pyrrha Nikos! H-How could nobody ask you?" Jaune gasped and wondered how can these people be so stupid of not wanting the chance to get closer to Pyrrha like pizza without cheese.
"I've been blessed with incredible talents and opportunities. I'm constantly surrounded by love and praise, but when you're placed on a pedestal like that for so long, you become separated from the people that put you there in the first place. Everyone assumes I'm too good for them. That I'm on a level they simply can't attain. It's become impossible to form any sort of meaningful relationship with people." Pyrrha explained her hard and sad life of a celebrity.
"(Wow, mom was right that everyone has their own problems even the famous ones.)" Jaune thought remembered what his mom used to tell him about this.
"That's what I like about you. When we met, you didn't even know my name. You treated me just like anyone else. And thanks to you, I've made friendships that will last a lifetime. I guess, you're the kind of guy I wish I was here with. Someone who just saw me for me." Pyrrha looked up at the starry night sky.
"(Oh great, now I leave like a complete idiot for not making my move on her sooner.)" Jaune thought sighed.
Jaune turns to see Pyrrha is leaving the balcony and was about to go after him, but then Neptune came in.
"Hey, huh, Jaune, right?" Neptune greeted, hoping he got the name right.
"Yeah, hi." Jaune sighed a little.
"This party's pretty lame, huh? I mean, ballroom dancing. Pfft." Neptune commented though Jaune didn't really care about what he said.
"Cute girls, though, huh?" Neptune said.
"Are you sure you should be saying that?" Jaune asked.
"Huh?" Neptune confused of that.
"You know, your date will be very mad at you if you go around flirting with other girls like you almost forgot about her. Trust me, I have seven sisters, and a couple of them went through all that." Jaune mentioned.
"Whoa, dude! What are you talking about? I'm not with anyone right now." Neptune said.
"What now?" Jaune shocked.
"But I thought you were right Weiss?" Jaune confused as well.
"Oh no, we… huh, we just didn't work out well." Neptune said making up an excuse.
"What? There's no way that's right. Because to me like Weiss asked you to the dance and you said it didn't work out? What could there be possibly"
"I can't dance!" Neptune admitted the truth.
"…Beg your pardon?" Jaune surprised while being calm looking.
"I can't dance, man!" Neptune admitted again.
"But… You're so cool!" Jaune pointed out.
"Thank you. I try really, really hard." Neptune nodded.
"You would rather break a girl's heart and go to a dance alone than just admit to everyone that you can't move in rhythm to music?" Jaune asked.
"That about sums it up, yeah." Neptune answered honestly.
"Come on, man. Have you even given some thoughts about at least go give Weiss a chance, you did seem to like you a little." Jaune pointed out.
"Well, yeah, she seems pretty cool to hang around." Neptune commented.
"Then just go talk to her. No pickup lines, no suave moves, just be yourself. I've heard that's the way to go." Jaune said crossing his arms.
"Yeah, but then" Jaune cut off what Neptune was about to say.
"Hey! You don't have to look cool all the time. In all honesty, if you could be a little less cool, I'd really appreciate it." Jaune said.
Neptune started to consider Jaune's advice, that it's time to stop worrying about little things like not being able to dance and just hang out with Weiss.
"Yeah, okay." Neptune nodded.
"Go talk to her. I guarantee it'll make her night." Jaune promised.
"Thanks. You're a really cool guy, Jaune." Neptune complimented, approaching Jaune a little and holding up his fist to him.
"Alright, don't lie to my face." Jaune said as he fist-bump with Neptune.
Neptune leaves to go find Weiss and have that talk with her while Jaune stay at the balcony for a little bit longer thinking about Pyrrha.
"All right, only one thing left to do." Jaune said to himself.
(With Wolverine and Yang)
Wolverine and Yang are looking down from the second floor seeing everyone is having so much fun at the dance, and Ruby is with them after getting on the dancefloor though only for a short time.
"You know? I think we really needed this." Yang believed.
"You're right about that. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun without having to worry about Grimms and bastards trying to kill me." Wolverine smiled with his hand on her waist to pull her closer.
"Well, now you won't have to worry about all that. And you did a great job planning it too, Yang!" Ruby said proud of her big sister.
"Aw, thanks!" Yang smiled, pulling Ruby in a one arm tight hug around her neck.
"It wasn't all me, though. Weiss did a lot too." Yang stated.
"(She should count herself lucky that I didn't go Berserker Rage on her for using my claws for mere decorations.)" Wolverine thought felt still hurt to his pride.
The three turn to see Weiss is sitting along at a line-up of chairs until Neptune came up to her and sat down next to her for some chatting.
"I'll let her off the hook this time." Wolverine muttered to himself.
"What was that?" Yang asked, thought she heard him say something.
"I said this party is starting to feel off the hook." Wolverine smirked.
Yang looks around seeing the dance is a big hit though sigh upon knowing that this party is only for one night, and that means no more fun as well.
"Tomorrow it's back to work." Yang said.
"Hey, we're more than ready to fight off whatever danger comes at us." Wolverine encouraged his first girlfriend to look exciting for tomorrow.
"He's right, it's going to be our first mission and a strong team like ours can handle anything!" Ruby believed strongly.
But then they heard a sudden burst of laughter from below as they look down and their eyes widen of shock finding out the reason of mostly everyone on the dancefloor is laughing so much.
"Ex-cept for that." Ruby said.
"What the fuck is Jaune doing?" Wolverine confused.
"Mr. Arc… Why is he…?" Glynda gasped upon seeing one of her students coming in the dance like that.
"It would seem Jaune is making himself the certain of attention." Ozpin smiled.
Pyrrha turns around to see what all the commotion is about until she spotted Jaune.
"Jaune?" Pyrrha shocked.
Now it's revealed that Jaune is wearing a pretty blue dress instead of the suit he was wearing before.
"Eh, a promise is a promise." Jaune shrugged. Then Pyrrha started to smile and laugh.
"Jaune! You didn't have to!" Pyrrha said.
"Hey, an Arc never goes back on his word." Jaune mentioned and extended his hand to her.
"Now do you wanna stand there and laugh at me, or do you wanna dance?" Jaune asked with his heart full of courage of confident.
"I would love to dance." Pyrrha accepted the hand and suddenly pull closer onto Jaune as they start dancing together.
"Ren. This... is... happening!" Nora excited.
"Wait, what is happening?" Ren asked, not knowing what is going on but Nora just took his hand dragging him to the dancefloor.
Teamn JNPR start having together in perfect harmony as everyone around them cheers of how awesome they are and commenting on how brave Jaune is being wearing the dress though some are still laughing of how silly he looks.
"I thought Jaune was being crazy, but now he suddenly looks so cool!" Wolverine complimented.
"Yeah, bust the moves while rocking the dress, vomit boy!" Yang cheered.
Jaune and Pyrrha are now dancing together as they spin around a bit.
"I had no idea you were a dancer." Pyrrha amazed of how well Jaune can move.
"Yeah, well, these things tend to happen when you grow up with seven sisters." Jaune mentioned before dipping Pyrrha.
Neptune confesses to Weiss on why he turned her down before and apologizes, and some who aren't even dancing are looking over the event such as Mercury and Emerald.
"It appears all the dancers have partners." Emerald reported on the earpiece.
"How long do we have?" Cinder asked.
"You should probably be home by midnight, to be safe." Mercury suggested.
"Well, that's no fun. I wanted to have some fun." Victor complained sarcastically.
(With Sabretooth and Cinder)
"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll find something to keep your wildness under control throughout the mission." Cinder grinned.
Cinder is now wearing a sleeveless jacket, long gloves, stiletto heel boots, a black glass mask and several straps with containers of powdered Dust lined across her pants.
"Anyway, we'll keep our eye on the clock." Cinder said before ending the call on the earpiece.
"Well, I'm at least glad to have gotten that smell off. Cologne is too much for my nose to handle." Sabretooth hated how colognes can mess up his scent of smell.
"It was the best way to hide your scent from your brother." Cinder reminded her lover.
"Now, let us be on our way to the tower." Cinder said before running ahead and Sabretooth immediately follows from behind.
Ruby and Wolverine are seen walking outside onto the balcony as they wanted to have a break from the dancing with the others.
"Man, are parties always this lively like this?" Ruby asked.
"Only when it's someone actually knowing how to have fun unlike some boring businesspeople." Wolverine stated with a little chuckle.
But then Wolverine notice an odd scent coming in the air and into his nose.
"Weird, there's something going on." Wolverine sniffed the air a bit more.
"It's not me, is it?" Ruby hoped that it isn't her that is smelling so bad.
"No, not you. It's something else, coming from that way." Wolverine jumped off the balcony heading to where the scent is coming from.
"H-Hey, wait for me!" Ruby called out and hurry downstairs to follow Wolverine.
Sabretooth and Cinder are walking together to the CCT where there is a few Atlas soldiers' station there to guard the place, figured Ironwood must be pretty cautious to have these guys protect the CCT knowing how important they are.
One guard is outside looking around to that everything appears to be quiet and normal right now, but he fails to notice the two villains sneaking around.
A loud growling sound caught the guards' attention for Cinder to sneak behind and chop him on the neck to knock him out then hide him in the bushes.
They enter the tower making their way to the elevator.
"Excuse me, no one's allowed in this area." One Atlas solider said to approaching teens.
However, neither of them listens as Sabretooh grabs the solider by the face before he could react lifting him off the floor and other charges in to rescue his comrade but failed as Sabretooth grabs him by the head and slams, they both so hard that made their helmets dent with cracks.
The other two soldiers come in to stop that madman though Cinder cuts bringing out her swords easily slashing and knocking down the soldiers without much effort.
The elevator is coming down with two Atlas guards together.
"Hey, man, do you know the Wi-Fi password?" One Atlas guard asked.
"It's Beacon, but replace the E with a 3 and add a pound symbol to the end." The other guard answered.
When the elevator door open, Sabretooth immediately comes in slamming their heads onto the wall of the elevator holding them up and piercing their necks with his clawed thumbs.
"Your ride." Sabretooth grinned with a gesture.
"What a beastly gentleman." Cinder flirted as she enters the elevator.
(With Wolverine and Ruby)
Ruby and Wolverine arrives at the CCT as the former also noticed there are two scents coming together, and Ruby gasp upon seeing one Atlas guard knocked out in the bushes.
"Looks like we got ourselves a couple of party crashes." Wolverine commented with his claws coming out.
"Then we better show them the door." Ruby said as she brings out her Scroll to call her locker and bring her Crescent Rose.
(Back with Sabretooth and Cinder)
The two arrived at the top floor and sat at the nearest control console plugging her Scroll into one server as they now wait for the magic to happen.
"So, want to do something to pass the time?" Sabretooth asked.
"We talked about this; we can't leave anything behind." Cinder reminded him of the purpose of stealth missions.
"A party guest is leaving." Emerald reported causing Cinder to sigh.
"Let guess, it's old Ironwood." Sabretooth said.
"Yup, I guess the general's had enough fun for one night." Mercury answered.
Cinder looks at the hologram screen seeing random codes changing and mixing for a few seconds until a black chess piece appeared, this gave Cinder the sign that the upload is complete.
"Should we intervene?" Mercury asked.
"No, we're done here." Cinder smirked as she took out her Scroll.
Just as they were about to leave, they heard the elevator arriving at this floor and this causes them to hide as Wolverine and Ruby came out armed and ready.
"Hello?" Ruby called out.
"Come on out, bubs! I know you're here; I can smell two people here and you're them." Wolverine mentioned.
"I always told you the nose knows." Sabretooth bragged as Cinder roll her eyes.
"Brother! How funny to run into you here of all places!" Sabretooth announced cheerfully.
"Sabretooth, so it was you who killed those soldiers in the elevator." Wolverine growled.
"Someone you know?" Ruby asked.
"Yeah, my older brother." Wolverine revealed while glaring at Sabretooth and Ruby becomes shocked.
"The fuck are you doing here, trying to look up meaty dinners?" Wolverine asked.
"Oh no, just here for a little maintenance check with my girl here." Sabretooth said as Cinder comes out of hiding and leans onto him.
"Our checkup has deemed that things are going to be bursting of Grimmy mood." Sabretooth smirked.
"Well, you two going to be feeling that way once we take you in." Ruby said.
But Sabretooth charges at Ruby to slash at her face except Wolverine stops him with his claws through his arm, and Cinder comes in with a kick to Ruby's stomach and Sabretooth kicked his little brother away.
Then Cinder threw down a smoke bomb engulfing the two villains and disappeared.
"Damn it!" Wolverine cursed the villains for getting away.
(Beacon Dance)
Sabretooth and Cinder easily sneak their way back into the dance without any of the soldiers finding them and started dancing together.
"Well, our night was lovely until it was interrupted." Sabretooth said.
"True, but we completed our mission and now we can enjoy the night together." Cinder smirked.
"Here or our room?" Sabretooth asked with his own smirk.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Everyone may have enjoyed the dance for the night, but it looks like Cinder and Sabretooth were the ones getting something done that could be dangerous to the Vale Kingdom. And that might be something Wolverine nor the others will be prepare for.
