A/N: I don't own any of the characters except my own.

The doctor finally came in with the results of Olivia's tests. Diana had been in the room as well.

"Olivia, I'm Dr. Jensen. How do you feel?"

"Like crap. Everything hurts. This is my husband, Hank and my sister, Diana."

"Nice to meet you both. I looked at your results from the xrays and the CT scan. You do have a mild concussion, since you did lose consciousness. Your elbow and clavicle are both fractured and you have a fractured hip as well. It's the hip that concerns me because of where the break is."

Dr. Jensen showed them where the break was.

"Surgery?"

"More than likely but someone from Orthopedics is also looking at your xrays."

Diana's phone rang, so she stepped out of the room. The doctor finished talking to Olivia and Hank and then he left just as Diana was coming back in.

"Hank, I'm scared."

"We'll get through it. We always do."

"I assume they're admitting you?"

"Yes. They are making sure they have a bed in Orthopedics, since that is more than likely where I will be moved to. He said he has dealt with a lot of orthopedic injuries and my hip injury probably wouldn't heal properly without surgery. Have you heard anything about Peterson?"

"That's what the call was about. He didn't make it."

"I'm not surprised."

"When I called Erin to tell her about you, she told me that Doyle tried attacking his ex-girlfriend, so she killed him. She confessed to it. Amanda seems to be ok with that because she just wants to try to get back to normal. I haven't told her about Peterson yet though."

"Do you think we still have to worry about the other guys that were involved with this?"

"No. They came forward and told me everything that Peterson and Doyle were up to. Even though they were involved, they knew that if they told me everything, I may go a little easier on them than I would have Peterson and Doyle. They're both on administrative leave for a couple weeks and they need to deal with Detective Rollins. They were both fine with that. She said she was ok with that."

"Ok. I'm guessing I could be off for a while if I'm having surgery. I don't want Amanda returning too soon."

"I agree. She needs time to deal with what she's been through. Like I have told you before, I'm a hands on type of person. I have dealt with rapes before but not to the same extent that you do. I will help out in any way I can as long you need me. If you want me to help out and take some of it off of Fin, then I will. I can have a meeting with everyone else in IAB and tell them they need to do what they were doing prior to me coming in, so I can take over SVU temporarily."

"Fin knows what he's doing but he doesn't like that my responsibility, so he would probably be fine with you taking over."

"It's your call."

"If you want to, fine but see what Fin says."

"Ok. I need to go back to the office to make some phone calls. I'll stop back on my way home. Hank, would you mind taking Ed home?"

"No problem. I'm going to have to go talk to the kids and Lucy about what's going on anyway."

"You can keep Kara as long as you need her. She loves spending time with the kids."

"Question."

"Sure."

"How did Chicago get involved with this?"

"When we were finally able to get into Doyle's laptop, we found emails between him and Peterson. Doyle said that he was going to be in Chicago indefinitely. I called Antonio. We sent him all the info we had including Doyle's photo. I've only dealt with Intelligence in Chicago."

"I would have loved to have worked for Intelligence."

"If you had, then you would have been my boss."

"I couldn't see you having to report to a female boss though. You barely tolerated me telling to what to do."

"I respect both of you. I could probably handle working under Diana but I'm not sure I could handle working under you though."

"Thanks a lot."

"I love you."

"I know you do."

"Diana and I have been friends for years, just like with Trudy."

"Are you sure you never dated?"

"I'm sure. I didn't see her that way."

"Same with me. I never saw him as any more than a friend. He and Kara adored each other and he helped me out around the house quite a bit. He was the biggest male influence in her life until Ed came into our lives."

"I cared about both of them."

"Kara would spend summers with Camille from the time she was a baby. She loved their time together."

"Camille did too."

"It was hard for me to tell her about Camille, since she was only 3 when she died. It was almost like she lost her best friend."

"I know the feeling."

"I do need to get back, so I will check in with you later before I head home."

"Ok. Thanks for being here."

"No problem."

Diana gently hugged Olivia and kissed her cheek.

"Love you."

"Love you too."

Diana left and went to find Ed before she left. She wanted Fin take her back to her office. He and Jeff needed to head back anyway, so they stopped in to see what was going on with Olivia, along with Barba. Carisi decided to stay with Amanda as did Olive and Trevor. After everyone left, Ed came in to see Olivia. She and Hank had their fingers laced together.

"How's it goin'?"

"I'm probably going to have to have hip surgery."

"That's not good. I heard Peterson didn't make it."

"Yep. Thank you."

"For what?"

"Being there."

"You don't know how scared I was when I realized you were unconscious. Like I told Hank, I still care about you and you are my sister-in-law now."

"I know. I still care about you too. As hard as we were hit, I'm surprised you didn't get hurt."

"Me too. I'm just glad I was wearing my seatbelt."

"I'm glad I was too. I'd probably be dead right now if I wasn't."

"Me too. I admit that I haven't always worn it on the job."

"I'm guilty of that."

"Me too."

"Peterson wasn't wearing one."

"Then he got what he deserved."

"He did. It sounds like Diana is planning to investigate the accident to find out if it was intentional or just an accident. He could have been following you and he's given you and your squad such a hard time in the past."

"That's true. Most of it was because we dated and because of the Munson case."

"Exactly but I was investigating both him and Doyle for years. I think those two were worse than Stabler and Amaro put together."

"Did you really say that or did you hit your head in the accident?"

"I really said that."

"I want to go home, so I can be with my babies."

"As soon as we know what's going on, I'll go home and talk to them. We should at least be able to video chat with you."

"I don't have my phone. Ed, you don't have it, do you?"

"No. Maybe it fell under the seat or on the floor of my SUV."

Then Officer Montero came in.

"Hey, Lieutenant."

"Hey, Montero."

"I got your purse and phone out of Captain Tucker's SUV."

"Oh, thank you."

"No problem. Captain Tucker, here's where your vehicle was towed."

"Thanks."

"Have they told you anything yet, Lieutenant?"

"I have a fractured elbow, clavicle and hip, along with a mild concussion. I will more than likely need to have surgery for my hip. I'm waiting for someone from Orthopedics to look at my results and for a bed up there as well."

"That sucks. I hope you have a speedy recovery."

"Thanks."

Officer Montero left.

"Obviously you'll be off longer than the surgery you had earlier this year."

"More than likely."

"Is Tutuola ok with being in charge for that long?"

"Diana offered to help. She said she was going to meet with everyone in IAB and tell them they may need to handle things the way they did before she took the position. I told her that I'm fine with it but to talk to Fin about it first. Neither of us wants Rollins to return to quickly. She needs time to heal physically and emotionally from what happened to her."

"I hope you do the same during your recovery."

"Oh, she will. I will make sure of that."

"I'm sure you will. Can you send Rollins in here please?"

"Sure."

Ed kissed Olivia's cheek and then he went to send Amanda in.

"Hey, Liv."

"Hey."

"This is all my fault, isn't it?"

"Amanda, don't you dare blame yourself for this. IAB is investigating the accident to see if it really was just an accident or if it was intentional. We all know what kind of person Peterson was. Both he and Doyle got what they deserved and from what Diana said, the others are fully cooperating."

"That's what she said."

"I don't want you going back to work too soon. Take as much time as you need to get through this. You can stay with us as long as you need to as well."

"Sonny asked me to move in with him but I told him his apartment was a shoebox. We're gonna start lookin' for a bigger place."

"I am so glad I don't have to deal with an apartment anymore."

"We figure that between the two of us, maybe we can afford somethin' a little bigger. I don't want to go back to my apartment. My biggest fear with all this was them doin' somethin' to Jesse."

"How did Frannie react to all this?"

"She was barkin' the whole time but I put her in the bedroom with Jesse when they knocked. I know she would have bit them."

"We did hear her barking on the video."

"When I refused to let them in, they kicked the door down. I told Sonny if he didn't want to be with me anymore because of this, I would understand."

"It's not like he doesn't understand what you have been through. When I went through what I did with Lewis, it was harder for me with Brian because that was right after it happened."

Ed came back in.

"You're back?"

"Yeah."

"Anyway, when I started seeing Ed and when we started to get close, he already knew about what had happened and had basically already seen what I had looked like because of the investigation, so I wasn't as self-conscious about him seeing me as I was with Brian. Hank told me that we all have physical and emotional scars of some kind. I try not to let it bother me as much anymore. I didn't scare any of them off."

"Do you ever hear from Cassidy?"

"Not since we broke up. I can't seem to get rid of Ed."

"Who would have actually thought that he and Voight would have gotten along so well?"

"Certainly not me, especially since Hank was mostly the reason we broke up."

"Your feelings for him were the reason we broke up. Not that I'm upset about it. I didn't expect to get along with him either."

"Me neither. My entire former unit still cannot believe that Diana is now IAB."

"Compared to who we have had to deal with in the past, Captain Edwards is awesome!"

"Oh, definitely!"

"Except you slept with the last one."

"Guilty but you must admit that he left us alone after that. He admitted that Peterson and Doyle were worse than Stabler and Amaro put together."

"That's somethin'. Now that I have had a chance to actually get to know Tucker, he's not so bad."

"Fin has said the same thing. Diana said she will help out in any way she can while I am off but I told her to talk to Fin to see what he says and I already told him that. For now anyway, we'll be short two of us."

"I'd kind of like to get away with Jesse and Sonny but not if we're short-handed. That would leave Fin and Jeff by themselves. Ever since you got back from Disneyland, Jesse has been bugging me to go."

"I don't have a problem with it but talk to Fin, since he's in charge. Maybe Diana could fill in on an as needed basis."

"I'll talk it over with Sonny and see what he says. Maybe if we went to Disneyland, we could see Amaro while we're there."

"If you do go anywhere, we can take Frannie while you're gone."

"Thanks, Liv."

"Sure."

"I think Trevor and Olive wanted to come see you."

"Ok."

Amanda hugged Olivia and went back to the waiting room. Ed left again and sent Trevor and Olive in to see Olivia. The doctor from Orthopedics came in and told Olivia that she would have to have surgery and they could do it in the morning. She was admitted and then Hank and Ed left to go to the house to talk to Lucy and the kids. Hank took Carisi back to the Precinct to get his car and Amanda had gone too. Olive and Trevor decided to stay with her until Hank got back or someone else got there. The flight from Chicago had gotten in later than expected because it was raining in Chicago, so it had left later. They got their bags and the rentals before they headed to the hospital. They found out where Olivia was and went up to her room. They knocked before they went in.

"Come on in."

Everyone came in and Erin hugged Olive.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"What's going on?"

"I am having surgery on my hip tomorrow. I have a fractured hip, collarbone and elbow as well as a mild concussion."

"Damn!"

"I know."

Erin hugged Olivia and then everyone else did too.

"Where's Dad?"

"He went home to explain things to the kids and then he wants to put them to bed but before he does that, we're going to video chat. He's going to come back and stay here."

"I'm hoping Lucy will be ok with being with them more."

"I better get going, so I can put my 3 down for the night. I'm sure Daniel will be in on the video chat though. I'm going to try to get here before I head to work."

"Ok. Thanks for being here. Both of you."

"You're welcome. Love you."

"I love you too."

Olive hugged Olivia and kissed her cheek and so did Trevor. Olive hugged Erin again and then they left.

"Do you need us to stay at the house?"

"Amanda has been staying there with Jesse and Olive will be there but maybe you and Jay could stay there as back up."

"Yeah, no problem."

"Thank you all so much for coming."

"Jay and I were going to come anyway but Antonio made the call with the rest of them, except for Platt of course."

"Randy can take care of himself for a few days. Everyone at 51 sends their love and they hope you get better soon."

"Tell them thank you the next time you talk to Mouch."

"I will do that."

"Why don't I stay here and Jay can head over to the house?"

"That works for me."

"Erin, are you sure?"

"Then I can be here with Dad."

"Thank you."

"No problem."

"We're going to go then. We'll come by in the morning."

"Ok."

Everyone hugged Olivia and then after Jay kissed Erin and touched her belly after he kissed his hand, they all left. Erin and Olivia talked for a while and then Diana and Fin came back. Hank did the video chat, so the kids could talk to Olivia and then came back to the hospital. By the time he got there, Olivia was asleep and Erin had already fallen asleep on the sofa. He went to get her a blanket and then he put it on her. He kissed her head, pulled up a chair next to the bed, kissed Olivia and fell asleep.
