A/N: I don't own any of the characters except my own.

It had been a couple weeks since Olivia's surgery. She was home but she had become frustrated because she couldn't do a whole lot and the rest of her summer was shot. Ed and Kara were over every day helping out and Amanda was still trying to sort through things from what had happened to her but she was about ready to go back to work. Hank had some errands to run, so Ed had gone with him and everyone else was out by the pool. Lucy and Kara were in the pool with Noah, Daniel, Rachel and Jesse.

"Mandy, you doing ok?"

"Yeah. I'm relieved they're both dead, so I don't have to face them in court. I appreciate you letting Jesse and me stay here."

"It was no big deal. You helped Hank out with the kids whenever he needed it and it gave me some company."

"At least Sonny and I finally found an apartment we can afford. I just wanna feel like a whole person again. I pretty much just got my life back on track after what Patton had done to me and now it happens again."

"I get it. I really do."

"No, you don't get it, Liv. Unless you've actually been raped, you'll never understand the hell I have been through."

"I do get it. I've been sexually assaulted twice. No one understands the hell I went through for 4 days. Four days, Amanda! Don't you dare tell me what I don't get! You weren't the one that was tortured by William Lewis and you weren't the one playing Russian roulette with him in that abandoned granary. I was and I have to live with the reminders of that ordeal for the rest of my life with all these damn scars all over my chest and stomach. You also weren't the one that was held hostage by Joe Utley and was there when he raped Tess. There wasn't a damn thing I could have done to prevent that from happening."

"Liv, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that."

"You should be sorry."

Both Olivia and Amanda had years running down their cheeks but refused to look at each other. Then Hank and Ed came back.

"Hank, I want to go upstairs."

"What's wrong?"

"Just please take me upstairs."

"Ok."

Hank got Olivia's walker and then he helped her up, so they could head into the house and then he helped her up the stairs to their bedroom. She ended up telling him everything. Ed sat at the edge of the pool, while Amanda called Sonny to tell him she thought she needed to find somewhere else to stay until they moved. He said he would think of something even if they had to go stay with his parents. After Olivia was settled, Hank came back downstairs and sat down next to Amanda.

"I'm sorry."

"She knows that."

"Sometimes I have a tendency not to think before I open my mouth and now she hates me."

"She does not hate you."

Amanda got up and went into the house. She went upstairs and headed to the guest room.

"Amanda, can we talk?"

"Don't worry, Liv. Jesse and I will be leaving as soon as Sonny figures out where we're going."

"You don't have to leave. Come in here."

Amanda walked in and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Liv, I really am sorry."

"I know. I am too. I am just so damn frustrated with everything lately. I hate that I have to be off of work again and I hate not being able to do things for myself."

"Look on the bright side, you have Voight doing everything for you."

"Yeah. He's been so amazing. Lucy has been great and so has Ed."

"Captain Edwards has been good for him."

"She has but honestly, I think he'd be helping out whether he was with her or not. I do appreciate you being here too. You and Jesse can stay here as long as you want."

Amanda hugged Olivia and then Hank and Ed came upstairs.

"Everything ok?"

"I think so. I am just so damn frustrated right now."

"I get it. It'll take time for everything to get back to normal. We will take everything one day at a time. Your recovery is not going to happen overnight."

"I know but what if I'm not the way I was before this happened?"

"The surgeon said things look great and you have been working so hard on your rehab."

"Why does it sound so much better when it comes from you? I know you're just trying to make me feel better."

"I am but you know I mean it."

"Yeah, I know you do."

They heard the doorbell, so Hank kissed Olivia and went to answer it. It was Nick.

"Hey, Amaro."

"Hey. Thanks for calling and telling me about Liv and Rollins."

"No problem. Come on in."

Nick came in.

"They're both upstairs."

Hank and Nick went upstairs.

"Nick!"

"Hey! Voight called and told me what happened to both of you. Did they get the people that did this?"

"Peterson and Doyle were responsible for what happened. Doyle raped Amanda and then left to go to Chicago. Intelligence found him dead. His ex-girlfriend killed him and confessed to it. Ed was taking me home and Peterson hit his SUV. I took the brunt of it and have all this to deal with now. Peterson died from injuries."

"And Tucker didn't have a scratch on him?"

"I did not but I was pretty shaken up from it. The first few nights after the accident, I kept waking up hourly with what had happened going through my mind or I would toss and turn all night. I even tried sleeping on the sofa, so I wouldn't wake Diana up. I was scared when I noticed Olivia was unconscious."

"Liv said you were seeing her half-sister when I last saw her. You're living together now?"

"We got married at the beginning of June. I adopted her daughter and I retired at the end of June. I get some time to spend with my daughter before she starts school."

"Congratulations!"

"Thanks."

"How are Gil and Zara?"

"Great. They said to say hi to everyone and Maria does too. How's everyone in Chicago?"

"Not too bad. They were all here when Olivia had surgery. Erin and Jay got married at the beginning of June. That was right before Ed and Diana got married. They're having a baby in October. A little girl."

"Hank found out that Erin was actually his daughter."

"Oh, wow!"

"And I'm Mom to her now."

"That's great. Are they ready to be parents?"

"Yeah. They had Kara for a couple months, since they needed the practice. Diana needed to find somewhere else for her to stay because Kara and her best friend weren't getting along and she felt like she was being an inconvenience. They did fine. Noah and Rachel spent a lot of time with Jay when they were here last. Noah thinks it's cool that Jay is his big brother now and Rachel adores Erin. She adores Jay too and Noah loves having Erin for a big sister."

"That's good though."

Then Kara came up and she had an ice pack.

"Hi Daddy."

"Hey."

"Hi Aunt Olivia and Uncle Hank."

"Hey, kiddo. This is Nick Amaro. He used to be one of my detectives until he retired due to an injury. Nick, this is my niece Kara."

"It's nice to meet you, Kara."

"You too."

"You ok, kiddo?"

"I got stung by a bee."

"That's not good. You're not allergic, are you?"

"No. I've been stung before. It just hurts and it's a little swollen."

"Maybe we better eat inside tonight if the bees are that bad. I don't want someone else getting stung."

"That's a good idea. Everyone is coming over tonight for poker anyway."

"You got room for one more?"

"Sure."

"Who usually wins?"

"Barba but he cheats."

"Trevor has beat him and he acted like he normally does when he doesn't get his way."

"Olivia beat him once."

"I did."

"Who all plays?"

"Ed, Trevor, Barba, Fin, Carisi and me. We play for fun but the one game that Trevor beat Barba, they played for money.

"This should be fun."
