A/N: I know it has been a long time since I updated this one and I apologize. I don't own any of the characters except my own.

Things had slowly gotten back to normal for everyone. Amanda was back to work but Olivia was still on desk duty. She hated it but she had everyone helping the best they could and that included Diana. The kids were in school. Kara was in the same class as Ed's niece and Noah had started Preschool. Hank and Lucy were keeping busy with the other kids, which now also included Jesse on a more regular basis.

Erin was due to give birth soon and she was basically on bedrest. She and Jay Skyped with the family every night. One night, they hadn't gotten their Skype call from Jay and Erin and Hank was starting to worry. Hank called Erin's cell.

"Hey, Dad."

"Hey, Kid. I was getting a little worried when we didn't hear from you."

"Jay is still at work and they're doing some big undercover thing. I think I'm in labor."

"Is Will at the hospital?"

"No. He and Nat are both off tonight and Helen has Owen for the weekend."

"Call them and get to the hospital. Olive, Trevor and the kids are in Indianapolis for the weekend, so I will get a hold of them and see if they can get there sooner. Olivia and I will drop the kids off at Ed and Diana's as soon as we can book a flight to Chicago."

Olivia was already looking for flights as Hank was talking to Erin. Hank hung up and everyone did what they had to do. Olivia had booked a flight and Hank called Olive. Olive said she and Trevor would head to Chicago and leave the kids with her parents. As soon as Hank and Olivia packed and called Ed and Diana, they dropped Noah and Rachel off at Ed and Diana's and headed to the airport. Once Hank arrived and parked the SUV, they went to check in and headed to security. They went to the gate and waited for the flight. While they were waiting, Hank called Antonio.

"Hey, Voight."

"Hey. I talked to Erin and she said you're doing some kind of undercover thing."

"Yeah."

"Erin thinks she may be in labor. I told her to call Natalie and Will and get to the hospital. Olive and Trevor are in Indianapolis this weekend, so they are on their way to Chicago now and Olivia and I are at the airport waiting for our flight. We dropped Noah and Rachel off with Ed and Diana. Now, we just need Jay to be where his wife is."

"That is easier said than done. Jay is the one undercover but I will see what I can do. I just don't want to blow this."

"I get it but he needs to be there for the birth of his daughter."

"I get it."

As Hank was talking to Antonio, Natalie called Olivia with an update about Erin. She was only a couple centimeters dilated, so she still had time yet. Olivia told her they were at the airport waiting for their flight and Olive and Trevor were on their way from Indianapolis. She also told her that Hank was talking to Antonio trying to get Jay there. Natalie told her not to worry. She and Will had the situation under control. Olivia thanked her and told her to keep them updated. She said they would. Olivia hung up and Hank was off the phone with Antonio.

"That was Natalie. She said Erin was only a couple centimeters dilated, so she still has time yet but she and Will have the situation under control."

"Jay is the one undercover, so it may not be easy to get him there."

"Oh, boy."

"Yeah. I get it's all part of the job but I don't get why Jay would have agreed to doing this so close to the birth. Erin and the baby should be his top priorities right now. I never would have had him be the one working undercover."

"Maybe it isn't Antonio's fault."

"I know it's not. I just don't want Jay to miss his kid being born."

"She'll have us, Will, Natalie and Olive but yeah, Jay should be the one there with her. Everything will be fine."

"I hope so."

Olivia kissed Hank and then an hour or so later, they boarded the plane. After a while it took off. Olive was closer to being in Chicago than Hank and Olivia were. She did the driving, since she knew where she was going.

"I'm sorry about this weekend."

"It's fine. Erin is your family and I respect that. I may call Rick and see if I can stop over to see them while I'm here."

"I'm just glad this happened while I was visiting my parents and had someone that would watch the kids. The purpose of that was so I could go through my stuff they still had at their house so they knew what to move and get rid of before they move to New York."

"Are you going to move in with them?"

"I haven't decided. They found a house not too far from Hank and Olivia and they want to be able to help Hank out with the kids. My dad is retiring and my siblings have been surprisingly supportive of the situation. They completely understand why Mom and Dad need to be closer to me. My aunt has a nice size place and said we could always move in with her. I love my aunt but I'm not sure I'd want to see her at work and at home."

"My offer still stands too."

"I appreciate that but moving in with someone is a huge step and I'm not quite ready for that yet. Daniel has become so attached to you and I know the twins have called you Dada a few times. They're not quite a year old and they never knew their daddy and Daniel barely knew him as it is. I'm glad that you are a father figure to them. I still don't know what this is with us but I'm glad I have you in my life and my kids' lives. You're an amazing man and the sex is unbelievable."

"What would you do if you ended up pregnant right now?"

"I've been on the pill this entire time. I wouldn't mind having a baby with you when the time is right. Right now, I'm not ready for another baby. I really want the twins to be at least 2 before I even think about wanting another one. I wasn't ready for the twins, since Daniel was only a year old but I wouldn't change it for anything. I love all 3 of them so much. They are my constant reminders of Justin."

"I understand."

"I do want another little girl though."

"Four isn't a bad number."

"I think Justin only wanted a couple kids but he would have spoiled his daughter rotten."

"So, he wouldn't have been ok with 3 of them?"

"He probably would have. Hank said that if Olivia hadn't miscarried, they would have still adopted Rachel."

"I don't doubt that for a second. Both Noah and Rachel are very lucky to have them as parents."

Olive and Trevor kept talking as Olive continued driving to Chicago. By the time they got there, Olive went straight to Med. She parked the car and they went in. They stopped at Information to find out where Erin was and ran into Sharon.

"Hi Olive."

"Hi Ms. Goodwin."

"Are you here for Erin?"

"I am."

"I can take you up. I was just visiting with her. Drs. Manning and Halstead are still with her. Are Hank and Olivia coming?"

"They are and I think they're in the air as we speak and should be landing soon. This is Trevor Langan. Trevor, this is Sharon Goodwin, the Hospital Administrator."

"It's nice to meet you."

"You too. You're the Voight's lawyer friend?"

"I am."

Sharon took Olive and Trevor up to where Erin was.

"Look who I found, Detective."

"Hey, Olive. Hi Trevor."

"Hey, Erin."

"Nice to see you again, Erin."

"So, where's Jay?"

"He's working undercover. I knew he was and I get that Antonio doesn't want to blow this case but I kind of need Jay here. Will and Natalie, this is Trevor Langan."

"Oh, this is Trevor! It's nice to meet you. I'm Dr. Natalie Manning."

"Nice to meet you too."

"I'm Dr. Will Halstead, Erin's brother-in-law and Nat's fiancé."

"It's nice to meet more of the family."

"Any idea when Mom and Dad will be here?"

"I assume they're in the air and should be landing soon."

"I hope so. I already have a feeling Jay won't get here in time."

"If he doesn't, I have something I can hold over his head. I'm good at doing that."

"Yeah, you are."

"Natalie, how's Owen?"

"He's doing great."

"Olive, how are the kids?"

"They're great. It's hard to believe the twins will be a year old in a couple months."

"Noah is in Preschool now, right?"

"Yep. He seems to love it."

"That's great."

Then Jay came running in and Will shook his head.

"I'm here aren't I?"

"I didn't say a word."

"You didn't have to."

"Everything ok with the case?"

"No but Antonio told me your dad told him I needed to get my priorities straight. This case or you and the baby, so I chose wisely. Antonio even said the birth of a child is not something I would want to miss."

"I thought I had more time."

"You're at 38 weeks, so it could have happened at any time anyway."

Someone walked by and then came back. It was Trevor's stepbrother, Rick.

"Hey, Trev."

"Hey, Rick. I was going to call you to see if we could get together."

"Of course. Come on over. Hey, Olive."

"Hey. How's the baby?"

"Great. How's it going, Detective?"

"I'll be happy when this is over with."

"My wife said the same thing and we've been through this several times."

"What brings you here?"

"I'm checking on a patient. I rescued her from a fire and she had gone into labor. She delivered the baby in the ambo. Her husband died in the fire, so she's now raising the baby on her own."

"From what I understand, they are both doing well."

"Good."

Then some of the group from 51 came in, including Matt, Gabby, Sylvie, Kelly, Stella, Mouch and Trudy.

"How's it goin'?"

"I wish this was over with."

"It should be soon. Hey, Miller. Great job with that pregnant woman today."

"Thanks. I feel bad that we weren't able to save her husband though."

"I know. Unfortunately we've all had calls like that."

"Yeah, I know. I'm going to go check on her. Trev, I'll come back when I am done and we can arrange something."

"Ok. Great."

Rick left and went to check on the woman he rescued and her baby.

"So, are Hank and Olivia going to be here for this?"

"They are in the air as far as I know."

"I'm surprised Jay made it."

"So am I. Voight told Antonio that I needed to get my priorities straight and Antonio also told me that I didn't want to miss my child's birth."

"Says the guy who nearly miss Diego's birth. Laura was in the Delivery Room by the time he got there because he was working undercover."

"I was doing the same thing."

Sharon got a phone call that the ED was getting busy and needed more help.

"Dr. Manning, that was the ED. They need help. Would you mind?"

"Not at all. Babe, let me know what's going on."

"Yeah, I will."

"Hang in there, Erin."

"I will. Thanks."

Sharon and Natalie left and headed down to the ED. Then Wallace came in.

"How are you, Erin?"

"I'll be glad when this is over."

"If they're bothering you, tell me."

"I've got Platt for that."

"That's right."

"Are the grandparents going to be here?"

"They should be here soon, hopefully."

"Are they bringing the kids?"

"No. My kids are with my parents in Indianapolis and Noah and Rachel are with Diana, Ed and Kara."

Will did another ultrasound.

"Will, what's wrong?"

"The baby is trying to turn and now the cord is wrapping around her neck. We need to get her out now!"

Will left the room and went to see if the OR was available for an emergency C-section.

"Jay, I'm scared."

"She'll be ok."

Will came back with the nurse and then they got Erin ready to go into surgery.

"Olive, since they're not here yet, will you go in with us?"

"Absolutely."

The nurse took Jay and Olive to get ready to go in.

"Good luck, Erin."

"Thanks."

Everyone left and headed to the waiting room, while they took Erin to the OR. Right after they took her in, Hank and Olivia arrived.

"Hank, Olivia."

They went into the waiting room where everyone else was.

"What's going on?"

"The baby was trying to turn and the cord was starting to wrap around her neck. Will is with them and so is Olive."

"Did Jay get here?"

"He did."

"Good. How long ago did she go in?"

"A few minutes."

Hank and Olivia sat down with everyone else and waited. A few minutes later, Jay and Olive came out with the baby.

"Everyone, I would like for you to meet Camille Olivia Halstead."

"Jay, she's beautiful."

Congratulations!"

"Thanks. She's 9 pounds even and 19½ inches long."

"Can I hold my granddaughter?"

"Of course."

Jay handed Camille to Hank.

"Hey, there pretty girl. I'm your grandpa and this is your grandma. We will spoil you rotten. What do you think about that?"

"He means it too."

Olivia took a picture of the baby to send to her squad and to Diana and Ed. Jay took Camille from Hank and went to the Nursery before coming back into the waiting room.

"Where are you two staying?"

"I knew we forgot to do something."

"You can stay with us."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

"Ok. Thanks."

"We're going to go. I'm pretty exhausted."

"Ok. Thanks for being here."

"No problem. I will definitely come see her tomorrow."

"Erin will be glad to hear that."

Olive hugged Jay, Hank and Olivia and then she and Trevor left.

"So, are they a thing?"

"Yes and no. She's not ready for an actual relationship yet but it's mostly a friends with benefits thing right now."

"She seems a lot happier though."

"He does make her smile again and he's good with the kids."

Then Natalie came back.

"Jay, what's going on?"

"The baby was trying to move and the cord was wrapping around her neck, so they did an emergency C-section. Let's go to the Nursery."

Jay got up and then he and Natalie went to the Nursery, so she could see the baby. As soon as Erin was out of surgery, Will came to find Jay.

"Everything ok?"

"Everything is great. How's my niece?"

"She's perfect. She weighs 9 pounds and is 19½ inches long."

"Good. Erin will be in recovery for a little while and then she'll be moved back to her room."

"Ok. Can I go be with her in recovery?"

"Sure."

Will took Jay to recovery, so he could be with Erin and then he and Nat went to the lounge by the ED. Everyone but Hank and Olivia left and headed home. Olivia had fallen asleep on Hank's shoulder and then after a while, Erin was moved back to her room. Jay gave Hank his keys for the house and then they left to go get some sleep. Jay went to the Nursery to give Camille her bottle. The nurse told him that Erin could try nursing her in a day or so. Jay fell asleep in the chair and Will and Nat had fallen asleep in the lounge.

By the time Erin woke up the next morning, she was introduced to her daughter for the first time. Hank, Olivia and Olive came to the hospital to see Erin and Camille and the rest of the squad had come by as well. Olive and Trevor were having dinner with Rick and his family before heading back to Indianapolis the next day. Olivia decided she would stay for the week, so they could both be there to help Erin and Jay adjust to being new parents once Erin and the baby were released from the hospital. She contacted Diana, Fin and Lucy to let them know. Diana said the kids were fine being with them. Hank decided to stay another week, so he would stay with Erin when Jay went back to work after a week.
