Hank had decided to stay in Chicago until Monday morning after Meredith got there. He didn't want to leave his daughter and granddaughter but he missed Olivia, Olive and the kids like crazy. Everyone was at work or school and Hank was going to need a ride from the airport, since Olivia had taken their SUV home when she came home over a week earlier. He had texted Ed before the plane took off to see if he would come pick him up. When the flight arrived at LaGuardia, Hank got off the plane and went to get his luggage. He went outside and Ed was waiting out there for him. He put his luggage in the backseat and got in.

"Thanks for picking me up."

"No problem. How's everything?"

"Great. I left after Meredith got there this morning. Erin isn't quite ready to be by herself yet. Jay has been coming home to check on her throughout the day or he'll call if he can't get home. I didn't want to leave them but I missed Olivia, Olive and the kids like crazy."

"They missed you too. You wanna stop at the Precinct?"

"Yeah."

Ed drove to the 16th and then they got out of the SUV. They went in and then they went up to SVU. Fin, Amanda, Carisi and Jeff were all their desks and Diana was in Olivia's office.

"How's the baby?"

"She's doin' great. Erin isn't ready to be by herself just yet, so I stayed until Meredith got there."

"Because of the surgery?"

"Yeah. She can't lift much for a few weeks, so she needs someone to hand the baby to her for feedings. I would have stayed longer but I missed Olivia, Olive and the kids."

"Liv definitely missed you."

"How was the game last week?"

"Same as always but Barba got his ass kicked, so he was pissed."

"Who beat him?"

"Tucker did."

"Good for you. Are they talking business in there or slacking off?"

"Your guess is as good as ours."

Hank went to knock on Olivia's door.

"Come on in."

Hank opened the door and went in.

"Ladies."

"Hey. I missed you."

"I missed you too."

Hank walked over to Olivia and kissed her.

"Is everything ok?"

"Yeah. I left after Meredith got there. Erin wasn't ready to be by herself. I took some more pictures."

"Let me see."

Hank opened his phone and Olivia pulled her charger out, so she could plug his phone into her computer. She went into his phone and looked at the pictures.

"I love these. ANYONE WANT TO SEE PICTURES?"

Fin, Amanda, Carisi, Jeff and Ed came into Olivia's office and Diana moved, so she could see them too.

"She's beautiful. She looks like Jay."

"Yes, she does."

"Her name is Camille?"

"Yeah. That was my first wife's name."

"I can't wait to meet her in person."

"They said they are thinking about coming out here for Christmas and bringing Will, Natalie and Owen with them."

"Great."

"So, how were things here?"

"No problems at all."

"Good."

"Who picked you up?"

"Ed."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

"You two haven't seen each other in over a week."

"Right. He drove me to the airport and we did Skype every day, so I got to see Erin, Jay and Camille and the kids got to see them too. They can't wait to meet her officially. A certain almost 3-year old missed her daddy."

"I missed all of you."

"You get to take them out trick or treating."

"Looking forward to it."

"Don't plan anything for dinner tomorrow. My family invited all of us to the pub for dinner."

"This will actually be my first time going."

"I know it will. They have a thing for the kids, so all my nieces and nephews and cousins will all be there. This is just for the family but this year they told me to bring all of you too and that includes your squad if anyone is interested."

"I thought St. Patrick's Day was your holiday."

"It is but with so many kids in the family, they make a big deal out of Halloween too. They pretty much always have."

"That should be interesting."

"What is going on for Rachel's birthday?"

"She's been wanting to go to an indoor water park and actually so have Noah and Daniel, so we're looking into that for that weekend. I am tentatively planning on taking that weekend off."

"Ed's niece and nephew are staying with us that weekend."

"We're only doing this with the family and that would include you, so a couple extras shouldn't be a problem. We're bringing Jesse and then Amanda and Carisi are coming after work."

"Not at all."

"We're still going to have everyone over for her actual birthday."

"How about this? I think Kara is off that Friday, so Ed can take the kids and then if it's ok, I'll come later with Amanda and Sonny."

"That's fine with us."

"Absolutely."

"Is Olive going?"

"Yeah. She's planning to take the day off as well but she's not sure she wants to bring the twins. We invited Lucy but she declined. Adrienne has offered multiple times to watch the kids, including ours, so Olive may take her up on it and let her watch Justin and Nikki for the weekend. We invited Trevor but he is going to Boston with his mom that weekend, so he isn't available. She seemed kind of disappointed. She has gotten so used to him being around."

"I can imagine."

"He spoils her but I think he would anyway, just like Hank does with me."

"And Ed with me."

"The twins have called him Dada but they don't know any better. They never knew their daddy."

"I'm good with that. At least he's good with them and he's good to all of them."

"Do you think Justin would be ok with this?"

"I think he would. He wanted her to be happy and to find someone again if something ever happened to him."

"If something had happened to you on the job, would you have wanted Camille to move on?"

"I told her that it would be up to her but I told her on several occasions that she could have done better than me."

"You've told me that too. If something happens to me, would you get married again?"

"Probably not."

"I'd be ok with it, you know."

"I know but I completely fell apart after Camille's death and I know I would if something happened to you too. I almost lost you a few months ago in that accident."

"I've got her back. I always have."

"I appreciate that."

"Me too."

"We do too."

"Good to know."

Ed's cell phone rang, so he took the call. After he was done, he hung up.

"What?"

"That was the school. Kara hurt her foot in gym class. She's in a lot of pain."

"Do you want me to go?"

"No. I got this."

"Let me grab my stuff out of your SUV."

"Ok. Babe, I'll let you know what's going on."

"Thank you."

Ed kissed Diana, while Olivia handed Hank the keys to their SUV. He left with Ed to get his suitcase and put it into their SUV, so Ed could go get Kara at school. Hank went back up to SVU.

"You wanna have lunch with me?"

"That's a silly question. Of course I do."

"Diana, do you want to join us?"

"I think I'll pass. I need to get back to work anyway."

"Ok. We'll see you later I'm sure."

"Oh, probably. I'll let you know what we hear about Kara."

"Ok."

Diana left and headed back to her office, while Hank and Olivia went to lunch. After lunch, Hank took Olivia back to work and went home to see the kids.

"Hello."

"Daddy!"

"Papa!"

Noah and Rachel ran up to Hank and hugged him. Then Daniel did the same.

"Hey, Hank."

"Hey, Lucy. How were they?"

"They were fine."

"Good."

"How's the baby?"

"She's doin' great. I take it Olivia showed you pictures."

"She did."

Hank took his phone out.

"These are the latest ones."

"She is so adorable. She looks like her daddy."

"Thanks and yes, she does. Are Nikki and Justin taking their nap?"

"They are. Did you have lunch?"

"Olivia and I went out."

"Ok."

"Did the 3 of you take your nap?"

"No."

"It's about that time."

"Ok."

The 3 kids kissed Hank and then Lucy took them upstairs for their naps. Hank went upstairs and checked for more laundry to be done before he washed what was in his suitcase. He kept checking his phone to see if he had heard from Olivia or Ed. Hank had fallen asleep in the family room, so Lucy checked on the laundry for him. Several hours later, the kids were all awake but Hank was still asleep. The doorbell rang, so Lucy went to answer it. It was Ed and Kara.

"Oh, my gosh! Kara, what happened?"

"I sprained my ankle."

"Come on in. Hank is asleep in the family room."

"I'm awake now. How are you feeling, kiddo?"

"My foot really hurts."

"Come in and go sit down."

"Thanks."

The two of them came in and Kara went to sit in the family room, while Ed, Hank and Lucy went into the kitchen.

"Thanks for finishing the laundry."

"No problem."

"Do you have to pick Liv up at work?"

"I think Jeff was going to bring her home. Has she been driving a lot?"

"Basically only to and from work. If she needs anything at the store, she'll let me, Olive or Lucy know."

"I don't have any problems running errands for her."

"I may not say it often enough but we really appreciate you."

"I know you do and I love being with all the kids. They're a handful though."

"Oh, yeah. I know they are. Ed, did you take Noah to Preschool while I was gone?"

"I did."

"Thanks."

"No problem."

Olivia and Diana came in and kissed their husbands.

"Hello."

"Hey. You're early."

"I know. I got tired."

"You're early too."

"I've been working a lot lately and I was worried about Kara. I checked with Olivia to see if she was ready to call it a day and we came home. You said you'd probably be here. Where's Kara?"

"In the family room."

Diana went to check on Kara but she was asleep. She took the blanket off the sofa and covered her with it. Then she kissed her forehead before she joined everyone else in the kitchen.

"She's out."

"The doctor told her to stay off of it for a couple of days, so there goes trick or treating. She still wants to go to the pub though."

"She can stay off of it and keep it elevated. At least it isn't broken."

"Kelly wanted to stay with her until someone came to pick her up."

"She is so sweet."

"Yeah, she's a good kid."

"What's for dinner?"

"I was thinking about cooking chicken out on the grill."

"That sounds good."

"Do the 3 of you want to stay?"

"Sure."

"I need to run out to the store."

"I'll come with."

"Ok."

Hank and Ed kissed their wives and then they left for the store.

"How's Amanda since she's been back?"

"She's doing great. I keep telling her that she if she wants to talk, I'm here. Sonny has been so supportive and she feels so much safer now that they're living together."

"I've told her the same. I'm really trying to work with everyone."

"You're much easier to deal with than Ed ever was. When Amanda got into it with Doyle and Peterson, you seemed pretty cold even toward everyone including me. When I mentioned that to Ed, he said it was female problems."

"He wasn't wrong. I was just having a bad day to begin with."

"I get like that sometimes too even though I can't blame it on female problems, since I don't get that anymore. It all comes with the job."

"Yeah, I know. Hank and Ed both had the right idea and left the job."

"Somedays, I wish I could do the same thing but with two kids Preschool age, what are we going to do? We can't travel unless we go without the kids. What's the point then?"

"I know. It's hard having to work around a school schedule. We're still planning to go to Ireland next summer and it'll more than likely be with his family, which I'm fine with."

"We haven't talked about taking any vacations. Hank and I went on the cruise for our honeymoon, we took Noah and Rachel to Disneyland and then you invited us to Paris, so we've been on 3 vacations this year. Hank mentioned that he would like to do the Disney thing again and take Olive and the kids but when the twins are a little older."

"Kara has never been to Disney World or Disneyland in the States. I would love to take her. Maybe I'll talk to Ed and see if we can arrange something for Spring Break. Maybe we can take Kelly with us if it's ok with his sister. She and Kara have become best friends ever since they met. His whole family is amazing."

"It would make sense to take Ed's niece with because then the girls can go on things together."

"Exactly."

"It was hard when we went because Hank and I couldn't go on anything by ourselves."

"We alternated with the kids when we took them in Paris. Kara wants to go back to Chicago just to go to Great America. She loved going to the one in New Jersey with Kelly and her friends but she wants to take Kelly to the one in Chicago. There's an indoor water park near there, so we could stay there and do the park during the day. I'll have to talk to Ed about that. She also wants to go to a baseball game but she wants it to be a Cubs/Mets game with her dad. I'm going to see when they are playing both here and in Chicago and see what I can do about getting tickets."

"Let me know what you find out and we'll go with you wherever it is."

"Ok. She would love to go to a game with Hank too. She still wishes she hadn't gotten sick when you were going to the Home Opener."

"Things like that can't be avoided."

"That's for sure. She is growing up so quickly though. I never realized how much she was missing by not having a dad in her life."

"They really love each other."

"Sometimes I'm jealous of that because she would rather do stuff with him and not me."

"This is new for both of them. He's better with kids than I ever expected him to be. Just be glad that he is no longer working. I'm glad Hank is no longer working, so at least one of us can be with the kids all the time. I try to spend as much time with them as I can."

"I get it. Sometimes I'm not sure why I took this job. If I hadn't, we may never have met and I more than likely wouldn't have met Ed either. It's kind of stressful sometimes."

"If anyone understands that, Ed does and I think that was part of the reason why he transferred out of IAB even though he said it was because of our relationship. He seemed better once he gave up IAB. Just don't let it get to you. You're doing a great job."

"Thanks. It's good to hear that every once in a while especially from one of the Commanding Officers."

"I think we would have gotten along even if we weren't related."

"I agree especially since you're married to one of my closest friends. I'm glad you two ended up together."

"I am too and I'm glad Ed is still a big part of my life. I'm also glad that he and Hank get along so well."

Olivia and Diana continued talking and after a while, Hank and Ed came back. After they put the groceries away, they started dinner. By the time dinner was ready, Olive had come home. They enjoyed dinner as a family and then after Ed, Diana and Kara went home, Hank gave the kids a bath, while Olive fed the babies and Olivia relaxed after she got ready for bed. Once the kids were ready for bed and said goodnight to Olivia and Olive, Hank read them their story and put them to bed. He checked to make sure everything was locked up and came into the bedroom to get ready for bed but Olivia was already asleep. He got into bed with Olivia, kissed her forehead and fell asleep.
