With those words All might was out of the door, with Izuku and Natsu already guess why the hero was in such a rush. They knew of the time limit that All might had in that form, the only thing they didn't know of was how long that time limit was. Grabbing the suitcases they needed the students went outside, where Vlad King was waiting on them, guiding them to the locker rooms to change. Izuku couldn't help himself as he looked around his classmates and saw how some of their physique was altered by their quirks, like Shoji's for example with the extra arms. However he did notice the eyes on him as well, the day before he hadn't noticed due to the pain he had from the burns and the pain in his arms from where his own quirk had gone out of control.
In the meantime Natsu had gone and dressed in his hero costume, or as he would call it in his head, his 'kicking ass outfit'. Which consisted of his sandals, but instead of fully wood or rubber there were reinforced with a steel plate in the sole and bindings of Kevlar. Keeping with his old looks he went with white pants that ended just below the knee, tied to close tight to him. Above that a black tank top made of a wire mesh that clung to him, while having the same strength as Kevlar. Over this he was a one sleeved jacket that showed his Fairy tail guild mark. A belt of bright orange at his waist tying the jacket closed. Finally ending with his signature scarf. (A reinforced version of what he used to wear just after the tournament arc).
For Izuku it was something inspired by both his mom and Natsu. While his mom had started on the hero suit that he had drawn in one of his first volumes she had gotten input from Natsu. With that input the re-breather and bunny eared mask that she had wanted to add were left off. The jumpsuit style that she had kept with was now just shy of skin tight, allowing plenty movement, without getting in the way. No sleeves as to not get in the way, red metal bracers on his arms below the elbows, the same style metal plating was added to his shins. Finally closing up with bright red combat boots and a black utility belt around his waist. As a final touch his mother had added a wheel with circles around a dragon onto the back of his jumpsuit. One was filled with a roaring fire and the other with a Jacob's ladder. (Sunlight rays bursting through clouds).
As both boys were ready along with the rest of their respective classes they headed outside. ''Oh I hope they'll put A against B and that way we'll show who the best class is.'' Along with a. ''I can't wait to pound those extras into the dirt.'' Echoed through the hallways, with no prizes on who said what, both were slapped, or neck chopped so they'd let things go and be silent as they approached All might and the girls. Speaking of meeting the girls there was one of the boys who couldn't wait to see them as he kept ranting about seeing all the gorgeous girls in very revealing outfits and that they should show the most skin as those were to be the best heroes.
They had heard Mineta about that the day before in the locker room as well when they had gotten changed out of their gym uniforms. The only ones who hadn't and also hadn't noticed him trying to get to a certain wall were Natsu and Izuku. Ironically both boys had been in front of the same wall when they had gotten dressed into their hero suits. Just hearing him rant about the bodies of the girls had both boys already wanting to punt the tiny boy over U.A.'s main gate. However all thoughts of doing so were banished from their heads when they actually saw the girls and went over to them. Uraraka, Ashido, Kendo, Yaoyorozu, Yanagi and Asui were talking about how their suits were both exactly what they had wanted and in some cases misunderstood. Both Izuku and Natsu, by now having walked up to them could only utter a few words in unison. ''You girls all look amazing!''
Only to have Aoyama mention something about the girls not being as sparkly as his cape. With once more in unison from in this case more boys and girls alike. ''No they sparkle much more than your cape Aoyama.'' NOW COME ON YOU ZYGOTES, GATHER ROUND; TAKE A LETTER OUT OF THE JAR AND TEAM UP! Now the exercise for today is simple, one hero team, and one villain team. The hero team needs to grab the nuclear device from the villain team, any questions?'' Which of course there were. Someone asked if he was going to expel someone too, Aoyama wanted to know if his cape sparkled enough. The next was if this would affect their final grade and Iida wanted to know why they would need to play villains as well. "Now in order, no, yes, yes and to understand how a villain thinks. Now gather up in your teams and let's get started.

As the lots had been drawn the groups quickly came together and started planning while All might tried to subtly look into a book called teaching for dummies. Being as observant as he was Izuku had noticed something poking out of All might's back pocket, but now that he saw it, he couldn't help but chuckle. As they went over the quirks of their group Izuku got very excited, especially about Yaoyorozu and Uraraka's quirks. Aoyama's on the other hand he was very curious, but he already knew the drawback of being only able to fire one second. Perhaps something of a storage device that would let him be able to store his lazer's power and redirect it…but that was for later.
He was thinking about the application of Uraraka's quirk on the device for example and the myriad of things that Yaoyorozu would be able to produce, only to hear All might yell out the first match up. ''Hero team, team A. Villain team, team I'' Izuku's attention shifted to the screens as he saw Natsu hype up the team while the others went to prepare in the hideout of their choosing. Izuku guessed that from the villain team Kirishima would act as a living door, while Koda convinced the local wildlife to run intelligence and interference. For Ojiro he figured the middle line of defense and that Tokoyami and darkshadow would be the last line of defense in a dark corner where he figured darkshadow would be the strongest due to his name.
When Izuku thought about the hero team, he knew that Natsu would take the front line; there was no other way about it. Guessed that Tokage and Asui would be used for recon and Tsunotori as diversion, or at least that was how he would have thought about it. Keeping up with both scenarios for his own team they kept plotting as they watched.
-Natsu POV-
'I know Izuku will have already figured out most of what I can think up and probably the other team as well. He really is too observant for his own good.' Turning to my teammates I laid down what I thought and how we would best be going about it as we had talked quirks on the way here. ''We should split up and cover the most ground that way. For that I am counting on you Tokage and Asui, Tokage checks the buildings, Asui the different floors. Tsunotori as soon as we find them you and I are going to go in through the main door. While we take the main door Asui and Tokage go in through a window, or from the roof. Finally in one big pincer movement I will try to sweep them all one way and you three get the device. Anyone any problems with that?'' Getting a negative from everyone, including a small 'ribbit' from Asui I heard the bell ring. ''Go!"
Seeing as there were only a few buildings close and we only had a few minutes of prep time I assumed that the villain team would be in one of the first four. Getting the information from Tokage who had send her eyes and one ear ahead to scout three buildings and the fourth to be checked by Asui we started moving towards the third building. Tokage send her parts ahead to the roof of said building. Even I had to admit flying in such a way as rather epic, it circumvented quite a few ways of detection. I mean no one looks for a flying torso, right?
Asui was stuck to the wall on the second floor and I thought it was time to make an entrance. ''The jig is up you vile villains. Resorting to something as low as a nuke. Come out with your hands up and we'll be merciful!'' Hearing the voice of Kirishima. ''How about you come take the device if you're MAN enough.'' Giving Tsunotori the sign we had decided on I knocked on the door with a classic melody, blowing the door inwards with the final punch. Making lots of noise and obscuring vision was good, only to find a human outline of the door standing about a meter from where the door used to be….This was going to be fun.
-control room-
As the class was watching the first teams going at it they had to give credit where credit was due and admitted Izuku was right. They had done almost exactly what he said that they would do. Including Natsu going heavy on the offensive and the human door in form of Kirishima. What they hadn't expected was that Tokoyami and darkshadow were located in a half dark room. They would have expected a complete darkness. That and the bomb wasn't there. The bomb was guarded by Ojiro, who was by now already getting slightly paranoid, hearing sound throughout the entire building. They had expected Natsu to take the lead and the others follow through the chaos into the rest of the building.
Kirishima and Natsu went hard against hard, with blows raining down on both of their bodies, with Kirishima slowly losing ground to Natsu's fiery assault. Tsunotori had indeed slipped by and was currently confronting Koda, who had known she was coming. A high pitched shreek as the sheer amount of rats was too much for the horned girl and she ran out of the room. Distracting Natsu, causing him to get hit in the jaw. Only to retaliate with a sweep of the legs and a punch to the chest as Kirishima was down, to take him out for the count.
Following to where Tsunotori had been Natsu only found a captured Koda and a smiling Tokage, of Tsunotori no sign. With the two of them they went ahead and found Tokoyami, who was stanfing at the edge of light and dark. Darkshadow was looking far more menacing than the day before in full sunlight. Which caused Izuku to write down his suspicion of darkshadow being stronger in darkness. With Natsu living with Izuku for a year he couldn't help but grin. ''This couldn't be easier, I am so sorry though.'' He said with a hurt voice as what he was about to do was not friendly at all. He charged straight ahead, both hands producing bright flames and a kick to Tokoyami's stomach took him out of the equation.
In the meantime Asui had snuck in through the window and climbed along the ceiling until she was right next to the bomb and dropped down on top of Ojiro, touching the bomb and ending the assignment. ''HERO TEAM WINS! When you are all back we shall discuss.'' With that Natsu took Tokoyami onto his shoulder and with the others coming along they went back to the control room. Once they arrived there Tokoyami came around, even though he was looking rather flustered from being carried like a sack of potatoes.
''Now can anyone tell me who was the MVP?'' All might boomed into the two classes and was waiting for answers. ''Natsu was MVP, that was manly as heck.'' Came from Tetsutetsu. All might considered that and shook his head. ''While did indeed the most physical work and from what we heard was the planning, it doesn't work in this case. Anyone else?'' With that answer from All might they started thinking again and Yoayorozu came with an answer. ''I think it would be a shared MVP between Asui-san and Tokage-san, as both did plenty of physical work, but remained undetected thanks to technique and the diversions created by Natsu and Tsunotori-san.''
All might boomed with laughter and raised a big thumps up. ''You're right young Yaoyorozu, sometimes it is not the direct combat that is the best course of action, but teamwork and a bit of the villains own medicine. Great teamwork all around, MVP goes to Asui and Tokage. Now for the next round TEAM C AS VILLAINS AND TEAM E AS HEROES!'' With that a maniacal grin appeared on Bakugo's face. ''Now I'm going to kill Deku and stomp him into the ground and none of you extras is going to stop me!'' Which in turn rather worried All might, though he had no idea who Bakugo meant with Deku. With Izuku's team setting up camp in the second building Natsu spoke up, more to himself than anyone else really. ''And so it has come to this…''
As Natsu looked at both teams leaving the control room seeing Shoto looking rather uninterested in what was going on. Bakugo looked downright gleeful, in a maniacal, sort of happy go lucky psycho kind of way. The other two Natsu couldn't really get a read on. Shoda and Bondo, he had heard what their quirks were. Cemendine and Twin impact. As they hadn't really made an impact the day before during the physical testing from Aizawa. Natsu was more observant nowadays but he still didn't compare to Izuku when it came to that. He was curious about Shoto though as the guy seemed like a stoic Gray, hopefully though he wouldn't be as much of a stripper as Gray was, or had been. That and he hoped that Izuku had a good idea to counter the sheer amount of ice that would undoubtedly be flung his way.
-meanwhile with Izuku and his POV-
I had been planning with the others on my team for a while now on both scenarios that could possibly happen and if I am honest we got the better end of the deal. The reason for that was the we all had seen the veritable glacier that Todoroki had just the day before to 'throw' his baseball. That and the various other ice tricks that he had used in the test. I had even seen Shoda punch his baseball and when his quirk activated somewhere mid air it seemed to have been hit again. Bakugo I knew all too well and I had a few contingency plans for him. The one I had no idea of beside regular body strength was bondo, his quirk Cemendine didn't mean all that much to me. From what I had overheard by now it could make some very sticky glue.
So all in all if Todoroki and Bondo would have decided to essentially make a bunker I would have had quite a hard time busting into it. Now on the other hand Yaoyorozu was already creating flashbangs, caltrops and other small and yet painful hindrances. She had agreed with me that that would be ideal. Not exactly for Bakugo or Todoroki as she had remembered him from the entrance exam for recommendation students, but the others would be hindered. Bakugo wouldn't care about the flashbangs, but Todoroki might. What would hinder Bakugo was salt water, the salt would neutralize the nitroglycerine part of his sweat.
Essentially what we had done was find a few barrels and make a hole in the water system that ran through the building, filled the barrels, added about a kilogram of salt to each and floated them to the ceiling with Uraraka's help. It would serve perfectly as a last line of defense. What we had also done was make the bomb weightless and placed near the emergency exit, which only opened from their side. One easy way out and no way in. ''Everyone remember the plan?'' Izuku asked. ''Oui, yes, yeah.'' ''SIMULATION START!'' Grinning I looked at my year mates. ''It's go time.''
There were a few stages to the plan that mostly Momo and I had cooked up. Stage one, I draw the attention from Bakugo and hopefully Todoroki. The one thing that they shouldn't see was that I had activated my holy sunfire mode. Simply because that form if I chose so, would crank out so much passive heat the entire building wouldn't need a central heating system. ''AW POOR HEROES CAN'T EVEN FIND US IF WE DON'T SHOW THEM WHERE WE ARE, COME ON HEROES. LET'S SEE THE BEST U.A. HAS TO OFFER!''
Stage two, Bakugo charges in recklessly and Todoroki tries to freeze the building. Seeing the frost covered grounds and a yelling Bakugo that the extras shouldn't interfere with his victory and just enjoy the show, perfect. So far so good, I gave a thumbs up to the rest of my team. Only to have a glacier form around the building. I will admit my eyes got a bit wider than I'd like. Had the ice affected his brain? If I wasn't in here that would have killed people… ''HAVE YOU GONE INSANE? YOU COULD HAVE FUCKING KILLED PEOPLE IN HERE!'' Although I doubt he could hear me through the layer of ice that was around us now.
''Yaoyorozu, hold down the fort, contingency plan Beta. I will deal with brain freeze and the ego of a lifetime.'' Melting myself a way through the main door I looked at the two idiots, who were looking at me in rather interesting ways. Bakugo like Christmas had come early, with me coming to him and Todoroki looking at me like I should be a popsicle. ''FUCKING DEKUUU!'' Of bloody course, how original. Not. The following explosion was nearly all fire and quite a bit of force I'll admit that. Inhaling the flames I cranked up the temperature output of my holy sunfire mode and replied. ''Now it's my fucking turn Bakugo, don't say I didn't warn you.'' Stage three was already underway and I grinned knowing we had already won. Three drones with capture tape were speeding behind enemy lines. ''Three members of team E captured.'' Why not go for four? Simple I wanted to teach Bakugo a lesson. ''ROAR OF THE HOLY SUNFIRE DRAGON!'' With that I returned all of the fire I had inhaled and then some more back at Bakugo. Oh I knew how much power I was using and what would happen, meaning me missing him for 95% of the blast and the 5% that would hit to do enough damage to have him out of the fight. Or so I thought.
-Third person POV control room-
What Izuku hadn't accounted for in his way of thinking and calculating was that Bakugo thought of him as weakness incarnate. That the explosion boy thought that everyone had lied about Izuku taking down the zero pointer, that and that the point system was a scam as he had gotten the most points based on combat. As such the blonde had stepped in front of the beam that had been fired his way and put up the grenade shaped guards that were on his arms. True they stored his nitroglycerin like sweat, but also functioned as guards. However with the enormous amount of power that they got hit with they exploded and blasted Bakugo to the side into a wall of the building that was slightly offset from the building he had been trying to get into.
Somehow still conscious, if only barely a few groaned words came out. ''I'm not dead yet Deku, also how did you get a bus to hit me?'' With that the explosive blonde fell face first out of the wall he had been blown into and onto the dirt. ''V-V-Vilain team wins.'' Came the shocked call from All might, who was still having trouble to wrap his head around what happened. In the meantime Vlad King had rushed over to Bakugo, where Izuku was waiting. From what Vlad could decipher, awaiting his punishment. ''I didn't, I didn't mean to do that, just give him a big scare.'' Vlad nodded as he had thought so and had seen Bakugo move into the attack. ''I figured as much . I saw him move into the attack. An attack that after an entire exam managed to take out the zero pointer, yes I saw that. Which I assumed was at less power as you had extra fire now and no exam beforehand…''
Izuku couldn't help but nod and look at the ground, waiting to be expelled from U.A. because he had attacked Bakugo. Which is what would have likely happened at his previous school as Bakugo had been the 'rising star' there. ''You're not in trouble, but maybe dial down the power a little next time, okay?'' Izuku looked at the teacher and saw something that he could barely believe. A teacher who believed him and believed in him. Vlad took Bakugo to recovery girl and the discussion for MVP was still going on as Izuku entered the control room. ''No I don't think young Todoroki would be the MVP here as his actions were dangerous, even more dangerous than young Bakugo's actions by moving into that attack. I agree with the opinion of his teammates and grant the position of MVP to young Midoriya. His planning along with Yaoyorozu, keeping them defrosted and being such a distraction that the rest of his team could remote control the drones to capture the heroes. That made him the MVP.''
''But weren't his actions dangerous as well?'' Izuku agreed, but apparently All might disagreed. The teacher simply took the remote and rewound the tape to the point where Bakugo stepped into the attack, showing that there was a wide margin between a full hit and what had been the intention. That and a zoom in on the thermometers in the rooms furthest from where Izuku had been and the surrounding buildings showing numbers far below zero. ''He did what was needed with his temperature and the attack was meant to clip, not hit straight on. That attack took out a zero pointer in the exam, just think about that. Next up Team J as the hero team and team G as villains.''
Needless to say that after that absolute trip down powerhouse lane the other matches seemed tame in comparison. Even though Shiozaki had the opposing team in vines, aside from Hagakure. Who in turn was captured by Shishida's sharp sense of smell in his beast form. The second to last match had been team F against team B with F playing as villains, while B took on the hero role. In that match it had become clear why Honenuki had been a recommended student and softened the floor where the bomb had been standing on along with the opposing team. With Monoma copying Yanagi's quirk and wrapping the capture tape around the villains telepathically. Kaminari being disappointed that he hadn't been able to do anything.
The final match was team H against team D with team H ending up as villains and team D as heroes. This was a much closer match than anyone had expected. Due to Kodai being able to shrink rather big pieces of debris and having them chucked at the heroes by Shoji, only to size back to normal. Upon which they would be dodged by Iida, caught in tape webs, stuck where they landed by Mineta or simply melted by Ashido. In the meantime Tsubaraba had been placing solid air barriers at every entrance he had been able to find, while keeping their escape routes open. The heroes had been making a lot of progress until the villains had unleashed their secret weapon in the form of Kinoko Komori, growing mushrooms everywhere. From the stairs the heroes had been supposed to climb, to the bodies of the heroes. Having at least not grown the spores that had been inhaled.
After revealing that little tidbit of information during the MVP discussion everyone had come to one conclusion. 'Don't mess with Komori, she's scarier than you'd think and all she'd say is shroomtastic.' After that final discussion All might had seemed to disappear from the classroom and No one had seen Bakugo for the rest of the day. Not even when they had been heading home had they seen him. The following morning he had just shown up for class as annoyed by everyone as the day before. Although he seemed to have a slightly different mindset. Izuku had a clue as to why, his mom was friends with Mitsuki Bakugo, who was Katsuki's mom. The blonde woman had called the previous evening to get more information about what had happened that day and why her son seemed to absorbed in his thoughts, about how he might not be the most powerful person around aside from All might.
Well there we are once more at the end of what I have so far. So far it looks like Izuku will get OFA in one form or another. The pairing is not known yet and if someone comes with a good reason to not give OFA to Izuku I am very much interested.
