I know its been an insanely long time since i have added to this story at all, but I am in college, give me a break, I will post more to this. I promise, I am re-embracing my inner Potterhead.

After a look at some reviews, remember this story is almost completely Alternate Universe. Most of the original storyline will remain intact but I am writing a story that focuses only on Hermione and Harry. Ron-bashing is included, and I am planning to enter Neville more into this story. So certain dates will be different. Including Birthdays.

As always let me know what you think.

After Harry saved Hermione from the troll, Ron decided to move on and hung out with Seamus and Dean for the most part. He was still angry at them for everything but steered clear out of fear of any future entanglements. The next day was the first game of Quidditch to be played and Harry was feeling nervous. They sat across from each other at breakfast and Harry picked at his food. Hermione looked to him with worry and noticed him using his other hand to adjust his glasses.

She wrinkled her brow as she tried to remember a spell she had read about. One to repair. "Harry!"

He jumped at her exclamation and put a hand to his chest, "Hermione, Im already nervous, can you not scare me, please?"

"Of course, I am sorry Harry, but I have something for you." She proceeded to pull out her wand.

"What is it, Hermione?" Harry said confused. She pointed the wand at his face and his face switched to shock.

"Occulus Reparo." One quick incantation later and his broken lenses were fixed and scratch free. He pulled his glasses off and looked at her smiling. She smiled back and went back to her eggs.

"Thanks Hermione, this will help definitely."

"Your welcome, good luck today, I'll be watching from the stands." She said pointedly as Oliver Wood proceeded to gather the team from the table. Harry got up and followed the Weasley twins, Alicia Spinnet. Katie Bell, and Angelina Johnson out the door to the Great Hall.

Hermione stood as well, and proceeded to the Head Table to meet up with Professor McGonagall. They exited the Great Hall together and into an empty room. Once the glamour was reset, Hermione joined the throngs of students that were moving out the school and toward the Quidditch pitch. She didn't have any particular group of students to sit with so she followed the Gryffindor's to their boxes. She ended up next to Hagrid in a Gryffindor box across the pitch from the Headmasters box.

With the game starting, she settled back and watched Harry high above the pitch looking for the snitch. He was completely focused and unfazed by the possible horrors that were to come.

Hermione caught on quickly once he began moving for the snitch, his broom would move in weird ways. It was trying to jerk him off the broom. "Hagrid, may I borrow those?"

He smiled handing her the gigantic binoculars, "Sure thing, Hermione."

She began to use them, searching the crowd for anyone possibly saying or chanting anything that could cause the broom to move. While she was searching, she was unaware of the intensity of the violent shakes that were causing the broom to move. Harry was hanging on for dear life.

She stopped the binoculars at the Headmasters box and noticed Professor Snape talking but no one was around to hear him. Hermione pulled the binoculars down and realized the amount of running she would have to do to get to Snape in time, to stop his incantation. She turned to Hagrid, "Thank you, Hagrid."

She passed them to him, and darted out of the box before she could hear him say your welcome. She ran through the wooden structure as fast as her legs and her cloak would allow her too. She breathed heavily as she continued to run. Her only thoughts were of Harry and why was Snape trying to hurt him. She ran harder without fail, and made it to the other side. Before climbing the stairs to the headmasters box, she peeked out an opening and saw Harry still hanging on while the broom moved around.

She pushed harder and climbed until she saw legs from the backside of the seats. Noticing Snape's impossibly black robes, she whipped out her wand and lit them on fire. Retreating from any eyes, that might notice her and punish her, she ran back down the stairs and popped into the first box she could.

Harry had jumped back onto the broom and was flying toward the snitch again, his broom no longer trying to kick him off. She succeeded and felt herself smile. Soon Harry was on the ground, holding a wet Snitch in his fingers. She never saw what happened but the win was everything to Gryffindor and Hermione bolted to the field and ran up to him colliding with him in a tight hug.

"You did it, Harry." He wrapped his arms around her and smiled.

"Thank you, Hermione."
