This chapter will be mostly getting ready for the dinner. Then after the dinner, the romance can really begin! I hope you enjoy! I do not own Pokémon or any of the characters.

Bianca stretches as she gets out of bed and looks at Latias, sleeping peacefully. Bianca giggles at how cute she looks and then gets a mischievous thought. She heads to Ash's room where he was awake and stretching. Bianca softly knocks and Ash smiles as he looks at her. He stands ands heads to her where he hugs her gently.
"Hey Bianca. I hope you slept well." The young man says as Bianca smiles at him.
"I did, thanks. I was hoping you could help me." Bianca says softly as she heads back to her room with Ash following.
"Sure Bianca. What do you need help with?"
"Well, I need to get Latias awake and I was hoping you could help me." Bianca moves closer to Latias as Ash follows and he gets close to her.
'Latias really looks so beautiful in her normal form. I really love how soft her feathers are too.' Ash thinks as he gently strokes her chest. Latias seems to smile and coos softly as she says Ash's name while sleeping. Bianca grins mischievously and then whispers into Latias's ear.
"Hey Latias, You better hug Ash or he may leave." The young artist whispers as Latias seems to frown and pulls Ash into a hug. He blushes red as Latias starts nuzzling him affectionately and even licks his cheek. Ash looks completely red and Bianca can't help but giggle loudly when Latias cuddles him closely.
"My Ashy" Latias says as she smiles. Ash just blushes and tries to get out from the hug. Latias hugs him tighter and rest her head on his head gently.
"No don't go Ashy. I don't want you to go." The young dragoness says softly as she licks his face.
"Why don't you show him how much you want him to stay?~" Bianca says as she giggles a bit louder. Latias blushes in her sleep but then moves so her face was so close to Ash's that he could feel her warm breath against his face. He was fully red in his face, his heart was beating rapidly, and he was feeling his love greater than he'd felt before. Latias leans closer to Ash, their lips so close to touching.
However, just before their lips could touch, Bianca can't help but giggle, and then starts laughing loudly which makes Latias slowly open her eyes. The young dragoness looks at Ash with realization let's Ash go as he stands up still red. Latias starts stammering responses as Bianca just giggles louder and then Latias squeaks out very loudly as she realizes that she actually cuddled and licked him, and even called him 'Ashy.' She then turns to Bianca as she glares at the young artist.
"You! You did this!" Latias says in a very embarrassed tone. Bianca just smiles and sticks her tongue out as Latias just squeaks and hides under her blanket.
"Why did you do this Bianca? I'm going to get you for this!" Latias says in a indignant tone.
"Don't worry Latias. I think 'Ashy' enjoyed it too." She teases as Latias squeals and moves to grab Bianca. Bianca moves away and runs out of the room as Latias pouts and then very shyly looks at Ash.
"I-I-I am so sorry Ash. I-I am sorry for embarrassing you like that." The embarrassed Pokemon says as Ash just rubs his neck sheepishly and smiles.
"Don't worry Latias. I um..thought it was cute that you called me Ashy. You can say it sometimes when it's just me and you. I wouldn't mind." The teen says as Latias smiles happily and gently hugs him.
"Thank you, Ashy." Latias says very shyly and Ash just chuckles. Ash smiles as he moves to the door.
"We should head to breakfast. It seems that Lorenzo wanted to make a good breakfast this morning." Ash says as Latias nods and changes into her disguise. The two head to breakfast talking happily as Ash holds Latias's hand.
After the group finished breakfast, Bianca and Latias headed to the shopping area to get some clothes and other things. Ash had decided to spend the day with Misty and Brock as Pikachu happily hopped on Ash's shoulder and nuzzled him.
"So guys, where should we go today?" Brock asks as the three friends walk at a leisurely pace. Misty looks at Ash and Brock before she shrugs.
"I don't know. Maybe we could go shopping. I'm sure there are some great things in some of the shops we didn't visit yet." The red head says as Ash stops near a water pump to let Pikachu drink some and run his head under the water.
"Chaaaa!~ Pi, pika pi!" Pikachu says happily as Ash chuckles. Pikachu shakes the water off and licks Ash's cheek as he gets back on his shoulder. Brock and Misty just smile and watch the two best friends.
'No matter how much Ash changes, he will always love his Pokémon. He really cherishes them as much as he cherishes his friends. Never change that, Ash.' Brock thinks as he smiles.
"Well, why don't we head to the garden? I know our Pokémon haven't gotten time with us. I know! We can let our Pokémon out in the garden! I'm sure our Pokémon would love some time out." Ash says as Pikachu happily nuzzles his friend. Brock and Misty look at one another before smiling.
"That sounds like fun. I only brought gyarados and corsola." Misty says.
"I brought steelix and croagunk." Brock says.
"I brought Pikachu, meganium, Quilava, Floatzel, totodile, and Talonflame." Ash says as he he rubs Pikachu's ears.
"You know we are on vacation, right Ash?" Brock says as he looks at Ash.
"Yeah. But when I was training, Team Rocket thought it was a good time to try and take Pikachu. So I started carrying my team with me. Though I think those three finally learned their lesson." Ash says as he chuckles.
Brock looks with great interest while Misty looks at Ash in shock.
"Wait, are you trying to tell me that Jessie, James, and Meowth learned their lesson? What happened?" Misty asks.
"Well, I guess they got tired of always losing and decided to quit Team Rocket. One day they came to me and asked to talk with me. They said they were done being the bad guys and wanted to try being good guys. At first I was shocked because they were actually wearing normal clothes. But I talked with them and after a nice talk, I realized they were being sincere. I suggested they go somewhere and start a new life. I got Professor Oak to help me clear their names and help them start a new life. They helped the professor for a few years to have something to put on their applications and started looking for a place to work. I haven't heard from them in a while but if I know those guys, I'm sure I'll meet them soon. They tend to check in with me and make sure everything is okay. It's actually really nice of them. They even apologized to my mother for a everything they did! You should have seen how afraid they were! Mom was really angry at first but after she saw how sorry they were she forgave them. She told them that she wanted them to make sure I was safe." Ash says as he laughs at how shocked Brock and Misty look.
"Man you guys, your faves look so great right now!" Ash says as Pikachu laughs and Ash chuckles. Misty just pouts and places her hands on her hips. Brock just chuckles as well and he smiles.
"Well, I guess after everything, hearing they are good guys now is a shock." Brock says as the three sit on a bench.
"That's not the most shocking thing. They actually asked me to help train them a few years ago. At first I was cautious in case they decided to become bad guys, but as I trained them they actually were grateful and had their Pokémon help others and they helped with other criminals. They even helped me when I was ambushed by some of Team Rockets Administrators. I was doing well, but there were too many. Then the three came and helped beat them. I guess it sent a message to Team Rocket to stop. I haven't had any problems with them for a year." Ash said happily as Brock and Misty just stared in sheer shock. Misty was stammering and Brock looked like he had just been told that a woman wanted to date him.
"I was shocked too! But now they've become a part of my family in a way. My mother made them a nice feast and we had a celebration for them after I told Mom what they did. They headed out to start their own business last I heard." Ash says as he stands and stretches.
"Come on guys. Let's go get some lunch!" Ash says happily as Brock just laughs and Misty sighs but smiles.
"You never change Ash." Misty says in a teasing tone as Ash rubs his neck sheepishly.
As the group headed towards a new restaurant that they had heard was very good, Ash stops near a shop and looks inside the shop. Brock and Misty move next to Ash.
"What is it, Ash?" Misty asks as she looks into the shop as well. Ash smiles as he notes the store as Brock looks at Misty then shrugs. After a few minutes, Ash looks at his friends and smiles sheepishly.
"Sorry guys. I saw something I wanted to get for Latias. Give me one minute." Ash says as he heads inside and talks to the shop clerk. He then comes out and was smiling happily.
"What did you do, Ash?" Misty asks as Ash blushes and Pikachu laughs.
"You'll just have to wait and see!" Ash says while Misty just sighs but giggles.
"Alright guys, let's go to lunch!"he says excitedly as Brock just smiles. The three friends head to the restaurant and see a decent amount of people.
"I didn't think it'd be this busy." Ash says as they wait for a few minutes to get inside. As they enter, they someone say Ash's name.
"Ash! It's been so long! What are you doing here?" James says as he moves to the three.
"Well, I did tell you guys that I'd probably see them soon." Ash says as he rubs his neck. To Brock and Misty's surprise, Ash hugs James and they smile. James then leads them to a table as they sit.
"Wow Ash. They really have changed." Brock says as Jessie and Meowth come to their table.
"Hey Ash! Your mom was wondering where you went. You just left without saying where." Jessie says in a scolding tone while Ash just rubs his neck in embarrassment.
"Sorry guys. I really had to come here." Ash responds in a soft tone while Meowth pats his leg.
"It's okay Ash. What brought you back here?" Meowth asks as Jessie takes Brock and Misty's orders.
"Well, let's just say that I really missed someone. After talking with Brock, I realized that I may actually um..love her." Ash says softly as Meowth looks in shock. But he then grins and pats Ash on his leg again in a happy way.
"That's great Ash! You should bring her here! We would close the restaurant just so you guys can have a great evening. We'd even cook for you!" Meowth exclaims as Ash smiles.
"Thanks Meowth, but I wanted to cook for her. But I couldn't ask you to close the restaurant for me. You guys seem to be doing real well." Ash says as Jessie looks at Ash.
"What's going on Meowth?" Jessie asks as Meowth grins.
"Ash got a girl he likes! I was saying that he should take her here. He said he wants to cook for her though." Meowth responds as Jessie squeals.
"Ohhhh that's so cute! You can cook Ash. But at least come here. It wouldn't be a problem. We have a restaurant in many areas. I even opened a salon in a few places. We have you to thank for that!" Jessie says happily as Ash blushes and rubs his arm embarrassed.
"You don't need to thank me. You guys did this by yourselves. I'm just glad you guys are doing good." Ash says as Pikachu hops from Ash's shoulder on the table and moves to Jessie.
"Of course we remember you Pikachu!" Jessie says in a happy tone and starts rubbing Pikachu's ears.
"Chaaaa!" Pikachu says happily as Meowth chuckles. James comes to the table with Brock and Misty's food.
"Hey guys, here's your food." James says as he gives Brock and Misty their food.
"James, Ash has a girl he likes! Tell him to bring her here. It wouldn't be a problem to close the restaurant for them." Jessie says as James grins and pats Ash on his back.
"That's great Ash! It really wouldn't be a problem." James says as Ash sighs and smiles.
"Alright guys. I'll take her here. But I am going to cook." Ash says as he looks seriously at James.
"Of course Ash. Just let us know when you want to take her here and we will close the restaurant for you guys." James says as Ash smiles.
"So what would you like Ash?" Jessie asks as Brock looks at Meowth. Ash says his order as Misty starts talking with James.
"I must say that you guys really are doing great Meowth." Brock says in an impressed tone as he starts eating. Meowth smiles and chuckles as he looks at Brock.
"Thanks Brock. It really was because Ash helped us. I'm sorry we caused you guys so much problems. But if you guys ever need us, let us know. We will do everything we can." Meowth responds as Brock smiles.
"That's good to hear, Meowth. You guys make pretty good food as well. I can see how you guys are doing so well." The Pokémon breeder states as Meowth seems to preen with pride. After a few more minutes of talking, the three former Team Rocket members leave to help other people.
"This food is really good. I'm glad that they decided to be good guys." Misty compliments as she eats her food. Brock nods his head and takes his time eating. A few minutes later, James comes back with Ash's lunch and a plate with poffins and poke food for Pikachu. The three friends eat and chat about how the vacation was going so far. Ash smiles as Brock and Misty start talking to James and Meowth as he finishes eating.
'I am the luckiest guy. I have such great friends, family, and amazing Pokémon. But the greatest thing that I have, the thing that makes me feel so happy, is that I have Latias. I can't wait to see how much she likes the next few days. I will show her how much she means to me.' Ash thinks happily.
As the three friends leave the restaurant, Ash gives Jessie, James, and Meowth hugs. Misty sighs happily and admires how forgiving and caring Ash is while Brock watches and smiles.
'Ash, you really are the kindest person I know. Never change who you are. You can show even bad people how to be good. I know you can do great things.' Brock thinks to himself as he watches Ash talk to the former Team Rocket members.
"Don't forget to take your lady friend here and let us know when you are coming!" Jessie says as Ash grins.
"Don't worry, I will let you know! I'll see you guys in a few days!" Ash says as he heads to where Brock and Misty were waiting.
"Hey guys. Let's go to the garden!" Ash says excitedly as his friends shake their heads and smile at how Ash acted sometimes.
When the group arrived at the entrance, Ash frowned slightly and Pikachu looked concerned at his best friend. Pikachu got in front of Ash in response and his cheeks sparked electricity as he stared at the entrance. Misty glances a bit worried at Brock who shrugs but takes a Pokéball out.
"Ash, is something wrong?" The older man asks as Ash glares at the entrance. The young man doesn't reply for a while before he takes a deep breath.
"It's just that there are a few more Lati's in the garden now. Most of them are nice and respectful, but there is one Latios that really makes me uncomfortable. He has been a jerk to me every time I went with Latias. I don't care if he doesn't like me, but he makes Latias very upset and he said bad things about her. No one gets to insult my friends, especially not Latias.arias said to be careful if I came to the garden without her. I don't know if he will cause problems but I want to be ready just in case." Ash states in such a strange tone, that it takes Brock a few moments to realize that Ash was very serious.
'This is new. I've never seen Ash so focused or serious about anything. He was never this way to anyone. Not even the criminals we faced. This Latios must really have done something bad to have made Ash act this way.' Brock thinks to himself as he watches Ash looks at Misty and him.
"If something happens, I want you two to get behind me. I know you guys want to help, but Latias said this was the strongest Latios in the garden. I don't want you guys to get hurt. If things get really bad, I want you to leave. Head back to Lorenzo's place and tell them what happened. I should be able to beat him if I have to fight, but I don't want to risk you guys getting hurt. So I want you guys to stay behind me. Okay?" Ash says in a serious tone as Misty looks concerned at Brock who looks at Ash.
"Okay Ash. But take care of yourself, alright?" The Pokémon breeder says as he sees that Ash wouldn't let them help.
"Let's hope it doesn't come to that." The red head says softly as she looks at Ash worriedly. Ash moves to the entrance as his friends follow behind him. Pikachu goes through the entrance first, before Ash follows. After a few minutes, Misty and Brock enter the garden.
As Ash looks around, he relaxes a little and lets out a relieved sigh. He smiles at his friends and starts walking towards the area Latias's place. Though a few of the Lati's approached the group, they were only curious and let Misty and Brock pet their heads before leaving.
"It seems that Jackson isn't here. Or maybe he doesn't care when Latias isn't here. I think we should be okay." Ash says as they arrive at Latias's place. Ash leads his friends farther into the garden as he sees a clearing.
"Alright guys, come on out!" Ash shouts as he releases all his Pokémon. Meganium instantly tackles Ash and rubs against him lovingly, as the others nuzzle against him. Pikachu slightly frowns as he knew the grass type has a crush on Ash. The yellow mouse hoped that she wouldn't get too angry when she found out that Ash was in love with Latias. Ash laughs and hugs each Pokémon before he stands and tells his Pokémon to form a line in front of him.
"Alright guys, we are on vacation right now! But it doesn't mean we can take a break from training. You guys can spend some time with Brock and Misty's Pokémon but after that we are going to train, alright?" Ash says as his Pokémon shout in excitement. Brock lets out his Pokémon, with steelix and croagunk heading over to play with talonflame, quilava, and meganium. Misty finds a nearby pond and lets out Gyarados and corsola. Totodile and floatzel head over to play with them as Ash sits with Brock and Misty. However, there was another Pokémon that was watching them.
Hiding in the nearby bushes and invisible, Jackson observes the group with mostly disgust. But the Latios wanted to see what that trainer had that he didn't. He couldn't understand what Latias liked about him, but he was going to find out.
'Whatever it is that makes Latias love you, I'll find out. When I do, I'm going to humiliate you in front of her by doing it better. Then she will love me for sure.' The Latios thinks.
A few hours later, and the Pokémon were finally done playing. The Latios grunted as he focuses on the group. He had grown bored of the friends and their Pokémon and was thinking whether he should leave. But it finally seemed like something was about to happen. Jackson watches as the Pokémon get in a group with Ash and he starts saying telling them what to do.
"Alright, Talonflame and Quilava, you are going to be working on dodging and speed with Floatzel and Totodile. Totodile will be working on power for his moves and accuracy. Floatzel, you are going to work on accuracy and some of the moves we practiced. Pikachu, you work with meganium to practice being able to beat Pokémon where your moves aren't as strong. Meganium you are going to work on accuracy and using your moves as well as you can." Ash says as his Pokémon get into their groups to train.
As the Pokémon start training, Jackson watches with interest. The Latios didn't like Ash, but he could tell that the Pokémon were well trained.
'Those are some very strong Pokemon. I wonder if that's what Latias likes. Maybe she thinks he is stronger than me.' Jackson thinks as he frowns.
'Then that will be what I have to do. I'll battle him when Latias is here with him, to show her I'm the strongest.' The Latios thinks to himself as he smiles and leaves.
After a few hours, Ash tells his Pokémon to head to him. He smiles at each of them and pets them.
"You guys really did great! I'm so happy! We can beat the champions if you guys keep doing as well as you did today!" Ash says excitedly as his Pokémon shout happily.
"Alright guys, you did well. Time to rest." Ash says as he puts his Pokémon in their Pokeballs. Pikachu hops on his shoulder as he rubs his face against Ash's. The young trainer smiles at Brock and Misty as he scratches Pikachu's ears.
"You guys ready to go? It's almost dinner time!" Ash says and Misty sighs. Brock just smiles as he and Misty put their Pokémon in their Pokeballs. The three friends head to the entrance of the garden while Jackson watches them leave.
'I will show Latias that I am the one she should love.' Jackson thinks.
After a great dinner that Ash made, Brock, Misty, and Lorenzo head to bed. Ash sits on the couch with Latias sitting with him. Bianca sits on a chair as the three talk about what they did.
"So, what did you girls do?" Ash asks as he pets Pikachu in his lap. Bianca just giggles as Latias slightly blushes shyly.
"Well, I took Tia shopping for some new clothes and a super cute swimsuit. I think she'd look great in it, don't you think Ash?~" Bianca giggles as Latias squeaks and turns red. Ash blushes as well and looks at Latias, who sees him looking at her and she turns even redder.
"B-Bianca! W-why do you always tease me so much!" The embarrassed dragoness says as Ash chuckles and Bianca smiles.
"Because you look soooo adorable when you blush! I think Ash likes it too! Don't you Ash?" Bianca asks as Latias shyly looks at Ash. The young man rubs his neck sheepishly and looks into Latias's beautiful amber eyes.
"I do like it when you blush, Latias. I think you look really cute." Ash says as Latias squeaks and blushes with her face turning red.
"I-I am not cute! I'm supposed to be strong!" Latias pouts and Ash and Bianca laugh. Pikachu rubs his cheek against Ash's hand to get him to keep petting him.
"Sorry buddy." Ash says as he starts petting Pikachu.
"Pika, pika, Pikachu!" Pikachu says as he sighs happily. Latias stands and rubs her arm.
"I'm going to head to bed now guys. See you guys tomorrow." Latias says as she heads to bed. Bianca smiles as she looks at Ash.
"So Ash. I hope you got Latias something special. Tomorrow means a lot to her. It helps her know she has a family. That she has you." Bianca says in a soft tone as Ash nods.
"I do Bianca. I am going to spend tomorrow with her. Then, I'm going to take her on a few dates before I tell her how I feel. I'm going to make her a romantic dinner and hopefully..she will feel the same. I love her Bianca." Ash says with passion and seriousness. The young artist could see that Ash was sincere and really loved her. She gently placed her hand on his leg.
"You don't have to worry about that, Ash. Im sure everything will go well. Just show her how much you love her. I know you'll do great. Im going to head to bed now, so see you tomorrow." Bianca says in a soft tone as she gives his leg a gentle squeeze before she heads to bed. Ash looks at Pikachu who looks back at his best friend.
"Pi, pi, Pikachu?" Pikachu asks as Ash sighs softly Pikachu gently nuzzles Ash's hand as he looks at his best friend.
"I don't know, Pikachu. I am nervous about this. I really care for Latias, but I am worried I'll do something stupid." Ash says as Pikachu nods.
"Pika, Pikachu. Pika pi, pika Pikachu." Pikachu says as Ash smiles weakly and nods.
"Yeah I know buddy..I just get worried that Latias will get hurt or that she will not want to be friends if I do something really stupid." Ash says as he sighs and frowns.
"I don't think I could take that. I really care for her. So much. I don't want to lose her." Ash says in a soft tone as a Pikachu places his paw on Ash's hand.
"Pika, pika pi. Pikachu, pi, pi pika." The yellow mouse says as Ash looks at him.
"Really, she would forgive me?" Ash asks. Pikachu nods and smiles as Ash lets out a sigh of relief.
"Alright. Then I gotta make sure that I do my best and not do something stupid!" Ash exclaims as he raises his arm. Pikachu hops on his shoulder and rubs his cheek on Ash's.
"Alright, we should head to be now, buddy. I have an idea what I want to do for what I want to do tomorrow." Ash says as the best friends head to bed.
'I promise you Latias that tomorrow will be one of the best days of your life.' Ash thinks as he heads to bed.
Alright! Another chapter done! I'm nervous about doing the dinner scene. I want to make it as romantic as possible, but I don't want to make it too romantic. Also, I'll ask everyone's thoughts on if I should do a battle. I am really nervous about not doing it well, and may just not do it, but I feel like it would make the story interesting. If I do the battle, keep in mind it probably won't be as good as most battles. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed! Read and review please!
