The third exam of the Chūnin exam was a battle round. Anko was the referee.
"Let the battle between Naruto and Sakura begin," Anko announced.
Sakura went through hand signs to trap Naruto in a genjutsu.
"Ramen," Naruto said, drooling. "Ramen. Ramen."
While Naruto was trapped in the genjutsu, Sakura raced to her teammate and kicked him in his balls. The snapped him out of the genjutsu. Naruto screamed in pain and fell over clutching his arms.
"Sakura is the victor," Anko announced.
Medics put Naruto on a stretcher and took him to the hospital for treatment. Anko announced the second battle which was between Ino and Choji.
"Let the battle between Ino and Choji begin," Anko announced.
Ino used the Mind Body Switch Technique on Choji and raised his hand.
"I forfeit," Choji announced.
Ino let go of Choji and returned to her body.
"What just happened?" Choji asked.
"I used the Mind Body Switch Technique to get you to forfeit," Ino explained.
Choji and Ino returned to the stands. Anko announced the battle between Hinata and Kiba.
"Let the battle between Kiba and Hinata begin," Anko announced.
Hinata went through hand seals and tried to place Kiba in a genjutsu. Kiba released himself from the genjutsu before transforming himself and Akamaru into Naruto. Hinata blushed.
"Will you marry me?" Kiba asked.
Hinata fainted and was put on a stretcher and taken to the hospital. Anko announced the battle between Shikamaru and Sasuke.
Sasuke raced towards Shikamaru only to get caught in Shikamaru's shadows. Shikamaru flung Sasuke into a wall knocking him out. Sasuke was put on a stretcher and taken to the hospital.
